Weve taken our 2010 Jeep here three times now. Brian diagnoses quickly, and has done the repairs quickly each time, getting us back on the road safely. Each time we were surprised at how fair his prices were. Its so good to take your vehicle to someone you know is just going to give you a fair price. Someday well need an expensive repair, but I wont even have to question if the price he charges is too high. I will know it is FAIR. And thats really what you want.

We had spent almost $1,000 on parts and labor, with two different mechanics, trying to figure out our car’s intermittent starting issues before we had it towed to Brian at Happy Motoring on the recommendation of many friends. In a very short time, he figured out that it was just a corroded connector. He cleaned it and kept it an extra day to make sure that fixed it. Now, it starts every time. You won’t find a more honest repair shop. They won’t sell you unnecessary parts or lie about the issues. I can’t say enough good things about this shop! We will be taking our cars here from now on and will recommend them to everyone.

Great mechanic shop, I went here to get my truck looked at for what I thought was wheel bearing replacement. The owner looked at it right away along with another mechanic, concluded that my bearings just needed re adjustment and proceeded to fix the issue immediately. Once he completed it I asked him what I owe him and his response was “nothing come back when you have a real problem” I definitely will come back for any thing mechanical for now on.

Ive taken my truck to this place a few times and they always get it out and running fine without hesitation. Ive been taking my car to Brian at Happy Motoring for a few years now. He is always up front and honest. I have not had very good luck in the car department, when we had an older car that just got to the point of no return, Brian didnt just take our money and keep fixing it. He told us that it wasnt worth fixing and that he would if we wanted him to, but that the price of fixing it wasnt worth the car. Even if it makes him money, he will let you know when it is a waste.He has also always had the best prices. Whenever Ive gone anywhere else to get a quote, he is always hundreds of dollars cheaper!

Brian is the best! Ive been coming here for the last two years...even for stupid stuff like having a broken key fob and not realizing that was the reason my car wouldnt start 😅. He wont recommend unnecessary repairs just to get money out of you like some places.

I took my car here for a vacuum leak and Brian fixed it with the type of positive care described here by other comments. But thats not what ultimately caught my attention. My Dad has an older model BMW that had some real specific problems that Brian admitted he wasnt too familiar with. So you mean your not going to pretend you know what your doing, try and fix it potentially causing more problems then charge me for labor? AN HONEST MECHANIC??!! Ya dont say.....

First, let me start off by saying I dont normally do positive reviews. Im guilty of being one of those that expect good service, but will complain about poor service. Second, I know enough about cars to work on them myself. Im not a mechanic by trade, just for hobby. I can count on one hand how many times Ive taken a car to a mechanic (not counting oil changes).So it was difficult for me to find a mechanic for my 2003 civic when I couldnt figure out what was wrong. A local parts house suggested HAPPY. I think the comment from the guy behind the counter was I dont let anyone work on my truck, but I will take it to HAPPY.I called them at 7:30 Monday morning, half expecting to hear something like can you bring in the car this afternoon? or im booked right now, bring it to me tomorrow. Instead I heard bring it to me now. I told him I would drop it off sometime in the morning.When I arrived the owner (Brian?) was already walking out saying is that the mis-firing civic? He took me into the office to get the keys and info. But more importantly, he wanted to know what was wrong with the car. HE ACTUALLY LISTENED to everything I told him what the car was doing, and what I had done. He asked questions! Many mechanics will just get the info then say ok, leave me the keys and well take a look at it. You want your doctor to ask a lot of questions, so why wouldnt a mechanic do the same?HAPPY works on all types of cars. He had everything from a new, exotic Lotus, a Honda Odyssey minivan, and a classic El Camino. He was fair and honest.I hope this review helps someone like me, who hesitates taking their car to a mechanic because they feel a mechanic will just try and get more money from them and not do a good job. Give Brian and HAPPY automotive a try. I guarantee I will be returning for even jobs I may feel comfortable doing myself, but I know my money will be well spent having it done at HAPPY.
