Ive had nothing but great experience with them...theyve gone above and beyond for me and my car needs...the people are great and very friendly. Deb in service desk is great at her job and always friendly with customers. Adam who is a manager there really took care of me and my car and they go above and beyond for sure. Great group of people at this location
This place is turning into a joke of a car lot. I’ve had my car for going on 3 yrs and in that time frame they have changed so much stuff that they don’t even mention to customers. I live in the Grand Rapids area so I’m closer to the Wyoming location now they want me to drive down by Kalamazoo to get a free oil change instead of partnering with a local shop here to do the oil changes since they are now no longer doing them at this location. Let’s me not forget to mention I have called numerous times and even left a message and didn’t get a answer or a call back. Can’t wait for my lease to be up with express so I can take my business else where
I got a.car from express they were friendly and helpful. I had some problems with my car and they got me right in and got the problems fixed.very impressed with there team and there sales manager adam. I recommend this place to anyone that looks for good service and good cars.
Terrible, terrible, terrible. They sell cars over $4000-$5000 over market value because “they approve all customers” and lead you to believe that all interest is rolled into that number, then try charging another 20% interest. I walked, terrible people, terrible service, terrible prices.
Completely worthless company. They sell cars with major issues and hide them. Employees lie and play with you and feed you misinformation constantly. I have been calling about my van for over 7 months and I either dont get called back or they try to send me an hour away. Call customers liars. Dont care if youre still in warranty and need work. All games.
I drove out here to help my friend pick up her car being repaired by them. They didnt even bother to shovel it out (we called an hour before hand to let them know we were coming) When we walked in nobody acknowledged us and everyone was on their cell phones. They have terrible customer service and my friend mentioned that she wishes she would have purchased her car elsewhere. She has had many vehicle issues and has had to go to numerous locations due to bad customer service. All locations are terrible and their vehicles break down easily. Other friends have mentioned they have the same issues with customer service and car repair issues.
EXPRESS AUTO IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A CAR COMPANY . They are not helpful at ALL ! The representatives are RUDE and NASTY ... Do not. I repeat. Do no do buisness with these people. They do not know how to properly conduct themselves. Paid off a car back in January 2020 AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY TITLE AFTER CALLING COUNTLESS TIMES most times only getting a voicemail box and not getting a phone call back.
UBER DRIVERS BEWARE! I was assured by Paul when I purchased my vehicle that being a driver would not affect my 3yr/36,000 mile warranty, other than the fact that I would obviously hit the 36,000 mile mark much sooner than the 3 years.Fast forward 3 months and about 10,000 miles later. I take my van in for service for the first time, when Im told being an Uber driver voids my warranty.After appealing to corporate and even having an account manager there try to fight for me (and get herself in trouble), they just said Im out of luck.I was completely upfront about what the vehicle would be used for, I used rideshare income as my ONLY source to qualify, and I was completely mislead.Very dishonest business practices. See you in court :-)
Aaron was amazing. He was patient and kind and took his time helping me get exactly what I wanted. The entire team was very nice and I highly recommend for anyone that has lost income and has now started rebuilding again with a new job they will definitely help you get in a great dependable vehicle and the warranty is the best i have seen.

Trash, straight trash. The worst dealership in America hands down. Tried to have me pay 480 a month for a 2007 Ford Fusion. Not including insurance nor do they have any understanding of life and what actual people go through. I would give them 0 stars if I could.
Terrible place to do business with. My daughter pays $400 a month for her car and weve had to take it in to be serviced 3 times in the last month twice for the exact same problem. This time they have had it for 14 days, refused to give us a loaner, and are unwilling to compensate us for the Lyfts and Ubers my daughter has had to pay for to get back and forth to work. They sure expect her to pay her car payment on time tho. Wouldnt recommend at all
I was able to get into a newer vehicle super quick after my last one died which was a huge relief. Jeff Owens was extremely helpful and easy to work with and has continued to be helpful even a few days after I picked up my new truck. Staff was friendly and helpful and the process was fairly painless. :)
No one needs a car this bad and fyi its a lease. If you want to sign your life away for a car this is the spot. Youll probably end up paying for a car you no longer drive. Or end up just paying 3x what its worth with basically no warranty. Theyll lie and show you a warranty written in language they can chose to honor but probably will not. Think about the kinda place where you can pay every payment on time for 11 months sometimes extra and early, you get a ticket or life happens and you have to make a partial payment this month of half the regular amount wake up 2 days later and theyve repossessed your car. I mean this message sincerely if you buy a car here you will be sorry. That also seems to be how they get employees people who cant keep up with the contract.Also note the fact that these are both employees of express auto, express felt the need to block me which is why I cant comment only edit my review. And like I said 1 partial payment of exactly half and the following week repossessed. And the warranty is not going to be upheld. Loaner yeah right I dare you to ask your salesman how many times whatever car your looking at has been sold by express auto and look him in the eye when you do! You might be surprised by the answer!
They have had my car for over 3 months now supposed to be fixing it been getting the run around no updates or calls on behalf of things at this point in just gonna let my attorney do the talking for me. I highly recommend no one goes here there a joke
I purchased with Ben yesterday 4-20-16, and my experience was great! Ben was very personable and made me very comfortable. There was no pressure and as we went on the test drive, Ben was checking for issues as though he was the purchaser. Everyone was friendly and professional. The manager Matt was very helpful and insightful as well. Both Ben and Matt made sure to cover EVERYTHING with me, so that I didnt feel like anything was hidden. Great job guys!!!Edit: 8/21/18I changed my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars because of how that car did my credit. I did not have a problem with the staff but the company practices are not the best. I wouldn’t recommend going to any Express. You are better off going to a major dealership, they WILL work with you! Express will have you overpaying for a car AND then no one will do a trade in on the vehicle because you’ll be upside down on your loan! It’s not worth it!

My vehicle, leases through Express Auto, has incurred upwards of 4,000 dollars in repairs through 4 visits in 3mo for the same malfunctioning system. I leased my vehicle in August 2017, a 2008 Jeep Liberty. It now has 200k miles on it, averaging 20,000 miles per year (typical). On 11/13/2017, I serviced the car for a front wheel bearing diagnosis, they stated nothing was wrong and charge me for labor. I also got my oil changed, where the advertise free oil changes, and was charged for labor. On 01/23/2018, I brought in the Jeep again, where the same diagnosed wheel bearing (L) was found to need to be replace and was charged for labor and the product, even though there was nothing wrong with it. On 10/25/2018 they had to replace the other front wheel bearing (R) and breaks. On 11/01/2018 I required a tow because the car wouldnt start, they told me I would not have to pay for the tow. they replaced the Ac compressor, the power steering pump and put in a new battery, stating it was an issue of the faulty air compressor and power steering pump they told me this would add on to the end of my lease and I could pay it off that way, which I verbally agreed to. I picked it up on 11/6/2018, to have it break on 11/8/2018 (TWO DAYS LATER) the serpentine belt fell off and it would not start. They offered to pay for the tow, which I was later charged. This time they replaced the serpentine belt, the helicoil, and power steering nuts and bolts, and I was told this was a matter of the power steering pump again. Later to find out that they fully charged me for this despite it being of complete fault to the service dept and I was told directly that I would not be charged, which I later found to not be true. Less than a month later on 12/03/2018, power steering went out while 50 miles away, I drove it back to grand rapids as far as I could. I called the next day to let them know power steering was out - Again. They offered to pay for the tow, which I later found out was only added to my lease. After repairs they replaced the rack and pinion tie rod end and sent the Jeep for alignment. I again was told I would not have to pay for these repairs relating to my power steering but was later charged. Upon picking up my vehicle the heat was no longer working. At this point I elected to use other means of transportation because I knew despite how many times I had the car serviced, it would not be reliable. I chose to drive it again on 01/26/2019 and the engine began losing power and making a clunking sound. My check engine light, that has been on since Oct 2018 (never fixed) began flashing. I called Express Auto and they said to bring it in. I now, again, have the vehicle in the shop and am being told they cannot tell me what is wrong with it and it will involve several more hours of labor and potentially a complete engine replacement. The service department has been anything but helpful and have been extremely misleading. Their communication with their customers and their own finance department is severely lacking. I pay on time every other week, never missing a payment and I have always made sure to inform them of any changes or needs. I am consistently called and threatened to have my car repossessed and have even had my car shut off after speaking with their finance department to adjust my pay date slightly. This request was approved but seemingly not understood by Victoria who was aggressive, rude and vulgar when threatening me to take my car. I simply want nothing more to do with this company, and wish I never started a lease there.
I love my new Pontiac Montana. It drives great and very comfortable. Paul has some of the best customer service Ive had in a very long time. I highly recommend you asking for him if you go.

TWO OF MY CHILDREN GOT A CAR FROM EXPRESS AUTO. THEY WERE TOLD OF THINGS THAT WOULD BE COVERED BY THEM INCLUDING OIL CHANGE. WELL MY SON GOT AN OIL CHANGE FROM THEM AND ON HIS WAY HOME HIS CAR STOPPED BECAUSE HIS TRANSMISSION WENT OUT AND HE WAS CHARGED 100 DOLLARS FOR A RENTAL WHILE HIS GOT FIXED. MY SON TURNED IN HiS CAR AFTER ALL. MY DAUGHTER HIT A FAMOUS MICHIGAN STREET HOLE AND HER WINDOW FELL DOWN AND SHATTERED AND WAS CHARGED 400 DOLLARS TO FIX BY EXPRESS AUTO AND THEY LEFT HER LOCK BUTTON OFF AND REFUSED TO FIX IT. AGAIN SHE TURN HER CAR IN. WHEN I COMPLAINED TO THE AGENT HE SAID TO ME AND I QUOTE. THAT IS WHY I LEFT EXPRESS AUTO. THEY LIE TO THEIR CLIENTS AND EXPECT US TO DEAL WITH THE MESS. END OF QUOTE. SO YEA... IF I COULD YOU WOULD GET A NO 🌟.
They are a horrible place to do business with. Workers are horrible, service is horrible, barely answer phones, every car I know of that has come from that place is problem after problem... I would give a negative 10 stars if I could.
While their sales force may be adequate, their service dept and policies are much to be desired. My daughter has had her vehicle in for repairs more than half the time she has owned it. Promises made but not kept.

Horrible! Will never recommend if my life depended on it. They sell lemon cars and when you try to get it fix you have to wait at least a month out. They don’t give rentals out when they keep your car. And they give you a date to give you your car back and when the date come up your car is not even ready!!Don’t get your car from here.And they lost my damn keys

The worst Ive ever delt with 28th street express lost my keys while they had my cat to get a repair done they hadnt done right the 1st 3 times and still isnt fixed went 3 days without my car I had to get a rental and was never given any credit on my account I had dropped off my car taken pictures of a oil leak I have had since November of 2017 i was told it was power steering leak then no leak then they fixed the leak... Im not an idiot theres a big difference between red fluid and oil took the car in today to get a oil change 390 mikes past my warranty expired and my boyfriend over heard them talking about the oil leak from the oil pan last time the can was in .... Mind u this is the same damn leak they hadnt fixed in 7 months WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND EXPRESS AUTO TO ANYONE BIGGEST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE GETTING A CAR WITH THEM (I only gave the them star cause I had to to post this comment I would give them -10)

Due to always being told they cant do oil changes when I go there because they dont have a lube tech I went somewhere else for my oil change. What did I learn you may ask? 1 they neglected to screw my filter cap back in all the way. They stripped my oil plug and destroyed the seal. So what should have been a $29 oil change turned into $50... Their service department is horribly unreliable for the amount we pay for the vehicles from there.

Haven’t even had my car 10 days and they turned off the car and are begging for money talking bout behind payment. I wouldn’t recommend this to the poorest person. Adam is a horrible manager who has no respect for his customers. Brandon just runs around like a chicken with his head cut off. They tell you one thing word of mouth and it’s another thing on paper. I’m so pissed off I swear I hope they fire this whole staff too!!!

4/21/19-4/27/19 my vehicle a jeep liberty was in being serviced per there warranty because I was a warranty member. I was treated with such a lack of respect and customer service I was disgusted. I was provided incorrect information everyday during this period. on the 27th of april I was disconnected 3 times by kara when I spoke up about it I was told you need to understand I was attempting to put you on hold no apology was ever made. I then asked to speak with a supervisor because kara continued to be very combative. Aaron was extremely rude. This is because I am on warranty I was highly offeneded. I would never recommend express auto to ANYBODY.

I was at express auto as I was bringing a friend to get the car she purchased there fixed. I felt the car she got from there was overpriced and the financing was preditory. People with poor credit are taken advantage of. The car she got had no inner fenders so I think it was probably a poorly repaired crash. Heat and air conditioning do not work. She was taken advantage of .
