This place was awesome to do business with. Each person was so personable and easy to work with. Everyone was friendly. I went to several other dealerships prior and each place left a sour experience of some kind. Good Motor was totally different. It was the kind of place that every other dealership should emulate. My salesman and another person inspected the truck and addressed the two minor issues that they found. Other dealerships dismissed issues I found and wouldn’t offer to fix anything. The Good Motor guys found 2 minor issues and said they would get them addressed before I even said anything. I was impressed. My spouse was impressed. Bought a truck from them almost 4 years ago and has had nothing but issues from day one. Asked if there was any known issues, check engine lights, etc, and they said no, it was great. Purchased sight unseen. When vehicle arrived it needed $7K worth of fixes (water pump, turbo, 2 front bearings, egr cooler, and even a clock spring). Have had a rear window seal issue from day one, 4WD went out after 2 months, have had exhaust issues. Emergency brake has never worked either. Have only put 15K easy miles on in that time and the truck needs brakes all around. Clearly not a reputable place to buy a vehicle from.

The guys were able to get me into the car that I wanted with no troubles with my less than desirable credit. I have had a smile on my face since I signed the paperwork. Very easy to work with, would definitely buy from again if I need another vehicle.

Thought overall they people were great. Fair trade in. I fell in love with a 2012 suburban from Texas. My husband was skeptical about the whole thing. I have owned it 6 months, the past 3 because if covid 19 it hasnt even moved. My guess I put 4000 miles on it. Went to work and noticed it wasnt shifting correctly. Took to garber and my transmission is shot!! Now I have to pay $5,700 for a new one. I hate to say it but I guess I should if listened to my husband. Id be skeptical of them

I recently purchased a vehicle from Good Motor Company and am highly dissatisfied with the experience I have had.I live on the other side of the state from their location( almost 3 hours), and hence asked if I could rely on my salesperson and their mechanic to provide a thorough assessment of vehicle since the logistics of involving my mechanic were challenging. I was assured they would provide an honest assessment so I could make an informed decision with the purchase.I was told that the vehicle was in great condition and I had no worries about the quality of the vehicle aside from the front drivers seat upholstery being worn. We negotiated a replacement seat be found after the close of the sale as COVID was limiting access to parts. I trusted this assessment and proceeded with the purchase. Since this is an older make car, I also purchased a warranty knowing that I would eventually have costly repairs to address because of its age.Within 5 weeks, I had a screech in the front end that I had my mechanic look at. He got back to me with news that it needed new brake pads/rotors, calipers, and an air filter, but also new tires because those on the vehicle were dry rotted(so badly that I was told they could blow out at any moment putting myself and my children in danger)...all basic items that in my mind should have been addressed/updated as part of dealership best practices prior to even putting the vehicle on the lot for sale. In addition to these basic things, major repairs were needed: bushings, ball joints, cracked radiator, rear axle seals, hub unit bearings, .....in total over $4500 of repairs on a car I have had less than 2 months.In addition, the warranty company that they collaborate with has been a nightmare to work with. With over 10 hours of hold time, 5 weeks at the shop and multiple difficult conversations, haggling over parts prices and slow responses to submissions for approval my mechanic at one point refused to call them any longer which left me on hold for hours as well.Finally, in despair over the situation, I contacted my sales rep and although initially apologetic and offering to make things right, he has since failed to reply to my emails with updated repair estimates of the items not covered by the warranty. He has basically ghosted me since our second conversation about my expectations for full or at least partial compensation of uncovered repairs.This is my first experience purchasing a used vehicle and I will NEVER trust a used car dealership again. In the process of dealing with the warranty company, I found out that there is a pre delivery inventory report that is put together on a used car which was never offered to me which would have either given me negotiating power on the price or convinced me to walk away from the vehicle. You may wonder why I didnt ask to see such a document? I didnt know they existed because Ive never purchased a used car. Once again, failed best practice of the dealership to not feel inclined to educate their customers as part of their sales process. Being new to purchasing a used car, I even combed through online reviews to make sure I was aligning myself with a company with a good reputation.I urge you that no matter how much you may want a car you find on the lot at Good Motor Company that you look elsewhere. Their best practices are questionable, dishonest/deceptive, they make promises they cant keep and their chosen warranty company is inept, difficult to deal with/get in touch with, and theyre untimely in processing claims. In fact, I believe the dealership may have encouraged the purchase of the warranty knowing the repairs that the car needed could be passed onto the warranty company instead of doing the right thing and fixing the car prior to selling it.Overall, I recommend you spend your hard earned money elsewhere with a more reputable company. This experience has been a true nightmare which cost me unnecessary time and money.

The salesman was a fun guy that seemed like he was selling cars just for the fun of it. As opposed to other places Ive gone where they make you feel very pressured to buy a car. It was honestly an enjoyable experience which is great since car buying can sometimes be a stressful and hectic process. They also filed the financing application (which not every dealer does I found out) and got me a very good rate.Edit-they sold me an after market warranty which I have now found out is a complete waste of $2000

After my parents successfully buying their used vehicles from Good, I knew it was where I wanted to go myself for my first car. Although they had great customer service, I would NOT recommend anyone here. My car ran perfectly fine for the first 4 months then shortly after, disaster happen. Had to get a new battery, new thermostat, new computer, new muffler and water pump. Added about $1500 in fixes to my total. Short term satisfactory is given but definitely not long term.

I bought a truck from here less than a year ago. The paperwork to license the vehicle showed up 3 weeks late. The exhaust failed Virginia state inspection because of a leak that was patched up with hose clamps and metal mesh. Now less than a year and 12,000 miles after purchase the clutch went out and needs to be fully replaced. All of this after doing a full inspection of the truck and insuring that the clutch had plenty of life left.

They sold us a bad Chevrolet equinox the converter broke down two days after we bought it they didnt want to do anything about it we took it back to them to fixed we gave to paid out our pocket for them to take it to a shop that they did a terrible job cause the converter broke down again 4 months later we called them but they never called us back we have to paid to get the car fixed again cause the put really cheap parts. I will never do business with them again not a trust worthy people..Now they said to call them back if you guys really wanted to help me you guys know my phone and address.. you just want to look good!!

Was told car that was advertised had been lent out and would be back in two days. Then called on the day it was due back as promised by salesman, Brad. Was assured it would be there when I drove 1.5 hours to the dealership. Got there and Brad claimed he was so busy and dis not have time to go and get it just up the street. Asked if he could get it at that time and he said wait and I will talk with my manager. I waited 15 minutes and went inside to check. Asked Brad if he was going to be able to get the car in as promised and he rudely td me he was on the phone with a customer. I left and will not do business EST with bait and switch, rudeness disrespectful behavior and lies. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a vehicle as you will not get truths from this business.

Exceptional service, great dealership, great people! We had been looking for a newer LMM or LML Duramax, crew cab, white, 4x4 on the floor shift, with compliant emissions, no chips/programmers, factory rims/tires. These trucks are hard to find. We spent all summer looking and ended up finding Good Motor Company online. We went up on a Sunday and crawled underneath, all around, kicked the tires and zeroed in on the truck we wanted. We made an appointment and Jeff had the truck ready for us. We test drove the truck down M6 to 131 down south of Wayland and back. We checked blow-by, all fluids, brakes and overall performance and handling. This was a rock solid truck and we made our best offer. Jeff had us work with Brandon and we obtained a better rate than our local bank. We finished the paperwork and drove the truck home the same day. We didnt make it home and the check engine light came on. We called Jeff and he stood by the sale and made it right. Good Motor Company went above and beyond to ensure that we were completely satisfied. These new diesels have sensitive emissions systems that can be a challenge to diagnose. Jeff took the truck to a local diesel expert in Grand Rapids and got everything corrected. We are so completely satisfied and impressed by the value and commitment by Good Motor Company. Under Michigan law as soon as we drove off the lot that truck was now our problem, we purchased it AS IS and signed papers to that order. Jeff and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied. It has now been over 6,000 miles with plenty of trips out of state with our new to us truck. This 2015 Duramax is rock solid and we enjoy our road trips. Jeff and Brandon - we cant thank you enough, we will be back to Good Motor Company in the future when we are ready to buy again and we tell everyone we talk with to go to Good if they are looking for a great truck!

The next day we called about the van to follow up since they werent considerate enough to contact us. These sales people are rude & have a laxative attitude. Nice clean inventory but will take our money elsewhere.

Purchased a 2013 toyota tundra had great customer service with Jeff and everyone there. The day of purchase I had left noticed the window wouldnt go all the way down or lock on driver side and had a taillight out. Took it back they fixed both problems no questions asked. I will defenitly go back at somepoint

I bought a 2011 Ford F-350 super duty diesel with 108k miles Paid $30k. Truck had tons of small problem that didnt surface for a while down the road. Radio didnt work right bought new one on eBay. Radiator went out costing $1700 at ford. Turbo o ring leaked costing $2900 at ford. And the warranty didnt cover anything. That was all in the first year. Be very careful with this used car salesman. I wont go back.

Why settle for Good when you can easily have Great???No. Just no... You really do deserve better and it can be found quite close. First and foremost, the vehicle was filthy. I find it remarkable that a dealership would plaster their brand on the tailgate without really cleaning the $40k+ truck. When asked about features on the Platinum F150, the representatives we spoke to were clueless, it was evident they did not know what they were selling. When my fiancé decided to go with the truck (despite fair warnings from yours truly) I was disappointed frankly, as I clearly picked up the stereotypical used car sales vibe as soon as I entered the dimly lit showroom. When we went to pick up the truck, though, there were new gouges and dings, and cracked plastic on the front end under the bumper... They dont respect the products that carry their name and they dont seem to care too much about the people looking to purchase them. We walked on the sale and will not be back. In all fairness, I will be writing a glowing review of the folks we did buy from because they are not simply GoodEnough, they are Great.

Very disappointed! Working with Larry was fine, no pressure, answered any questions. When it come to finanicing Brandon was very disappointing! I felt like we were just blown off because we didnt have good credit. We knew we would have to pay a high interest rate but we were willing to do that cause we had our hearts set on a Chevy Avalanche and we wanted to work on fixing our credit. We left the dealership thinking Brandon had to work a little harder to get us finianced. 2 days later I had to call and ask him whats going on, he said oh let me work on that here this morning and I will call you back in just a couple hours. a week and a half later still no phone call. Pretty bad he makes you feel like you arent with the time or service unless you have great credit. I will not recommend this place to anyone and I think it is sad Larry has to take a loss because Brandon didnt do his job! I am good now though, after 20 minutes in Ed Kohen Ford we had what we wanted and financing all wrapped up. Your loss Good - BAD- car Co.
