Very nice place, although the scenery was a little bland, but overall the food is good and portions are good too. The staff there is very friendly and there is a great deal of returning customers to start up a great conversation with. Enjoyed this place a lot!👍

I walked in, the owner was friendly as well as the staff, everything was best and clean. The food = awesome.I had the spaghetti dinner special with a side of meatballs. The sauce was meat filled, hearty sweet and savory with excelente textura. The flavor was subtle with a little best that is still on my tongue. There were no survivors. Excelente establishment, right in front of everyone on west market. Definition of a hidden gem.I am tackling a Boston creme pie slice paired with a glass of whole milk. This is a gem of a diner. Gals you must visit the clean bathroom and read the one wall plaque. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. When I lived in West York I frequently went to Breakfast at the Astoria. Cooked to order, inexpensive, delicious. I would just tell our personable waitress what I wanted and she would price it for me. They have wonderful breakfast combos on the menu but portions are large. Great coffee and they keep your cup full.Lunch and dinner specials and homemade soups, I am drooling thinking of their wedding soup. I enjoyed their non spicy cream of crab that had pieces of crab in it. Their Boiled Chicken Pot Pie has an all you can eat night along with other nights having other menu items on this special. Lunch and dinner specials are changed daily. Local specialties such as scrapple. Greek food is delicious and made there in the restaurant. Tziki sauce makes everything better in my book.(no, I am not Greek but I greatly appreciate this cuisine). Personable wait staff that learn your name if you tell them and come often enough. Love and miss all of you.Locally owned and operated it is a family business that I loved.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. We were craving Greek food and ordered two gyros. They were fantastic! The meat was nicely seasoned and the sandwich was nicely out together. It wasnt a sloppy mess.We also tried their chili. Their chili is no joke! Very good, a little bit of heat!They have a series of breakfast and dinner specials that are priced attractively. All in all this was very good and Im glad we tried it. Were sure to return!

This diner has the lowest prices on breakfast I have found in York county. (Believe me, some of our local breakfast diners can cost almost as much as going out for supper!) That being said, the food is spot on. They do have grits, which not every place around here does, and they will substitute them instead of hash browns. Service was pleasant, food was cooked just right, and we were served very quickly. Astoria Diner is great place for a good meal without breaking the bank!

My fiance and I went here last night with our son. We had a wonderful experience. The owner was fantastic and really engaged with our son. He treats the customers like part of the family. The food was really good. We left here smiling and definitely plan on returning.

I love their food, the gyros are so delicious, n everything I have ordered there was very good. I also crave their Tuna Melts... yummy. The owner also comes out n talks with his customers, very friendly atmosphere.

First off, I have only been here for breakfast but with that said. Its the usual family restaurant style in this area. The food is decent with a good selection of items to choose from. Good portions, good friendly staff and the prices are good. So for all those reasons I gave it 4/5.

Never been to a place where the food came out HOT🔥 and fresh, it was our first walk with our 17 day old son, apon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the warmest of smilesSeats were moved so my stroller could sit beside me. Our food came out promptlyWhomever makes the Chili should be appointed to master chef because boy was it delicious. My fiance is in love with the boasted chicken it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. About 5 mins into our meal a very sweet man came in with the biggest smile and the most gracious heart ❤ he approached our table and spoke to my sleeping baby so soft .. Congratulated us as new first time parents.
