Just had breakfast at Colonial and it was DELICIOUS!!! French toast and the home fries with onions were some of the best Ive ever eaten. My server was extremely friendly and cordial. Breakfast came out extremely fast and I was more than happy to eat all of it!!! Orange Juice was ice cold and great compliment to the delicious breakfast. Great GO TO BREAKFAST SPOT!!!

I’ve been going to this place since I was 4yrs old and I’m 37. By far the best, quickest and consistent breakfast place in York. It’s no frills just great food for a very affordable price and the staff is amazing. They’re always welcoming, friendly and kind. It is run by a family and from the time you walk in, you feel that positive energy that comes from a true family run establishment. They care about their customers, community and each other, which in these times is always nice to see. You should stop by, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!!!!

I ordered a cappuccino, a lemon mousse and a tiramisu cake. I received a super sweet, nectar consistency cappuccino, an oreo cake and a yellow cake with cream. I paid $20 for that order, and I wasted my money. If they didnt have the items I ordered, why send me something else without notifying me? Thank you, but No, thank you. Ill pass on a next time.

Their creamed chipped beef is very good and homefries are tasty. The service was good and fast.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast, they have great service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. My only complaint was they dont have hash browns on their breakfast menu. Otherwise very happy and Ill be stopping in again to try their lunch menu.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Asked for a milkshake and she rolled her eyes and snorted as she turned her back and walked away. The cashier was not friendly. And it was the worst gyro Ive EVER had. Dried up hard pita to match the employees attitude. Dismal place.

Very clean. That must be why people like it because the prices were higher than the local diners with sub-par food. Not kid friendly. You have to twist their arm for spoon and crackers for soup, extra napkins, and water refills. Take your hard earned money somewhere else.

Always fast and friendly. If we want a diner breakfast, this is our go to spot. Good specials and pretty much anything you would want on the regular menu. The pancakes are huge, so order less than you think you want.

The Colonial Coffee Shop is my go to lunch place. Always clean, kind, quick service and quality food.

This dining experience was utterly excellent. It is clear that the staff at colonial are running a well-oiled machine. Can’t beat the speed and price. I’m impressed, to say the least.

My mom comes in regularly since she works in a nearby office. Ive come in with her a few times. They treat her like family here, the food is good and affordable. Its a great spot for me to meet her during her lunch break, and the service is phenomenal.

Service and food here are always outstanding. I highly recommend the Athenian Omelette, it is so delicious! The blueberry pancakes are another stellar dish (they are pretty big so bring your appetite).

The name is a bit misleading. The name lead you to expect a coffee shop, in reality its a small mom and pop diner. The food was good and the service average. Not a place I would go out of my way to get to but a nice stop if Im in the area.

I stopped into this location and sat at the counter to order a coffee. I then got out a cup of yogurt and when the waitress approached me with my coffee, she told me no outside food allowed. Be advised I did order a coffee and I had a 5 ounce cup of Yogurt with me. I thought that was very rude so i told her i dont need the coffee then and i walked out. I can understand if someone sat down to eat outside food without ordering but I had a small cup of yogurt and I did order coffee. Very rude and unprofessional!! I do not recommend this place.
