The doctor has always been super helpful with guiding me and finding the right brand for my eyes. I have bad allergies so my eyes get so irritated and she has always tried to find better lenses to help lessen the irritation and giving me tips to help with that. Thank you for being so kind and helpful, really appreciate it.

I am grateful to Dr. Davis for her help in catching a medical diagnosis early through her thoroughness when completing my standard annual eye exam. As a new patient, I felt extremely cared for and in good hands. She immediately referred me to a specialist who later confirmed the suspected diagnosis. She even followed up with me a few days later while she was on vacation to make sure that I was able to be seen by the specialist. She really went above and beyond!

This was a disorganized office with a pretty aggressive doctor- the office never properly saved my initial prescription, and after multiple visits I am reordering my old contact RX (which I had to repeat to them for probably the fifth time, as no one saved it properly in their systems) because I did not trust the changes the doctor made. I initially went in for a regular eye exam for contacts and glasses- been wearing both for 15 years. I had to wait a long time (probably an hour) and heard some office drama. I finally got my eye exam and some trial contacts, and felt okay about the process. The trial contacts were uncomfortable and the doctor changed things about my prescription that no one had changed in almost 15 years of wearing contacts. I went for a follow up to see if I could try something else, as the trials were blurry and left me with headaches. Instead of the doctor partnering with me, she lectured me about a previous patient to who wore contacts all the time, lectured me about allergies, and generally went off on me for reasons I really still dont understand, mostly going on about other patients who did not listen to her previously. I dont wear my contacts all the time (I actually wear glasses a few days of the week), so no idea why she brought up this other patient when I just needed her to focus on me and get me contacts that work for me. She said she would give me my old prescription if I wanted, but I could see sharper- I agreed, and said I was willing to try something else. She ended up just giving me my old prescription for my right eye for the second pair of contact trials because the machine was giving her a weird reading and until we fix my allergies this was all she could do. She did not really partner with me on the allergies (she needed to flip my eyelid to confirm it was allergies causing the confusion on my RX. I said she could, but she went on another tirade, and never did confirm it was actually allergies or look at my eyelid). I left feeling totally frustrated- Im a willing patient, I care about my eye health. I dont understand why she yelled at me about another patient and all manner of things that did not relate to my health or finding the right contacts for me. Ultimately, I left feeling so confused and less than confident about the second trial pair, as well as feeling untrusting about the care I received there. The second trials were okay, but as I mentioned, I ultimately re-ordered my old RX, because all of confusion with prescriptions and the doctors unrelated lectures at my follow up made me lose trust. I will not go back to this office, and Id recommend you find elsewhere to go as well, if you just want good care and a straightforward experience.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Davis since Vision Source had their office farther north in the complex now known as The Linc. Over the years, I have received nothing short of great service. The staff are always helpful, diligent, and communicative. If theres ever a concern or reasonable cause for delay, they look for ways to resolve the issue as best as possible. Im 41, have dealt with vision issues since elementary school, and dont recall a more welcoming group of personnel. It comes, however, as no surprise if you know Dr. Davis. Despite having lived in Austin for the last two decades, its arguably been impossible for me to find and sustain a doctor (physician, dentist, et.al.) for more than a few years. Thats why Dr. Davis is much more than an eye doctor to me. She is a reliable life support whos both professional and authentic - highly qualified, and still available to have a real conversation because I can tell she values connection with her patients more than anything else. Though I meant to write this review months ago, I have a real procrastination with writing what I know will be lengthy and posted publicly to be forever preserved. But the high respect I have for Dr. Davis, and her team, motivated me to write this review for others to know my unforgettable experiences. I found Dr Yu more than 2 years ago. She is without a doubt the best optometrist I have ever been to see. I needed contacts that would deliver the most and best performance possible. I am a very picky guy. Were talking multifocals which can be hard to get just right.When I first stopped in, I was certain she was for me.She is very intelligent and extremely meticulous in trying samples until the customer is totally happy. Tell her if you are the least bit unsatisfied and she will make it perfect.Her rates are reasonable and insurance is accepted.If you are looking for an optometrist, you cant go wrong with Dr. Yu. Dont waste your time looking anywhere else !

Dr. Diane Yu Davis is incredible! I discovered her in 2015 using a Groupon and have been with her ever since (6 years so far)! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and stays up to date with the latest research but is able to explain everything in accessible language. She offers information about short term and long term care and shares insight into how shes seen different treatments be effective. Dr. Yu Davis provides follow up and specific recommendations for everything from eye care, to lenses, to eye drops, to allergists, to spray to keep my glasses from fogging up, to nearby restaurants! Each time I am in her office she greets me like no time has passed since we last saw each other and remembers specific things about my life. She is down to earth and takes her time to answer any questions. I appreciate when she takes a video of my eye and shows me exactly what areas shes talking about. I feel more informed about my eye health and included in the process of care. I trust her, not only with my eyes but Ive brought a couple of my siblings here to have their eye exams and get glasses. She truly cares about our wellbeing and offers recommendations that also consider cost, offering more affordable prescription options, rebates, or coupons whenever available. They make everything super convenient too! If you opt in, they send text messages to let you know when your glasses or contacts have arrived. Ive scheduled appointments via text and they are consistently responsive. All of her staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely want to help. There is one staff person there, Lainey, who has been there for three years and is always helpful. She is organized and explains everything about what to expect from insurance, to products, to timelines of my order, to her experience with different items. Dr. Diane Yu Davis and her team is beyond the best!

I did not enjoy my experience. My exam felt rushed as I came in a 4 on a Friday and the doctor was impatient to get out of work. The prescription is not a clear as other prescriptions I have received from other doctors.I also felt very uncomfortable as the doctor and one her assistants are married and they kept bickering in front of me in the exam room the entire time. It was very awkward and uncomfortable.Additionally, the doctor kept pushing $600 lenses on my that she said would be a cure all for my headaches and neck tension and that it would be best for me to get the $600 lenses through her because online glasses websites wouldnt fill the prescription. Maybe the cure all part is true (though it sounds dubious), but it is not true that you cant order this prescription online and its definitely not true that its in your best interest to spend $600 on these lenses through her. I was able to get a pair of glasses online with that special prescription for $40.

I really didn’t know what to expect but wow Diane did an amazing job addressing my concerns and taught me a lot about why I was getting headaches dry eyes so often. I’m really glad I came because otherwise I would not have known how much my eyesight affects the rest of my body and what I can do to alleviate those symptoms.

Dr. Davis and her staff are fabulous. Great customer service, and the most professional experience you can receive.I would really recommend getting Neurolense when purchasing. My husband and I have been using them for the past few months from Dr. Davis’ recommendation and its super worth it! Dr. Davis and her completely competent staff go above and beyond to meet your eye care and glasses needs. I have been a loyal patient for over four years and recommend this office to everyone I know. I was incredibly nervous to visit the office during the pandemic, however my five-month old son decided to crush my frames in his tiny fist.The office complies with all mask and safety requirements. Every inch of every machine is wiped down and sanitized between each patient. I had absolutely no problem when both the doctor and technicians took extra care to make sure everything was sanitized. Every person in the building was wearing a mask (there is a sign on the door stating it is a requirement to enter).I am an avid glasses wearer. The selection of frames is amazing, current and fashionable. The office worked with my insurance, and I am walking away with two pairs of truly fabulous frames. But- beyond the selection of eyewear- I return to this office for the patient- centered care. Dr. Davis takes the time for a thorough exam and then explains everything to you as well. I cannot more highly recommend this office, it’s staff, and the high standards of safety they are enacting during this crazy time.

The Dr. didn’t tell me her name until I asked. When I asked her questions she was short and kept saying “ I already told you”. My diagnosis was incorrect and I suspect it was because her machine wasn’t working properly. She also had to change batteries on a tool in front of me while I was in the office. I had to go to a different doctor later in the week for a proper exam and my prescription is totally different as well as my diagnosis. She kept trying to push a $600 pair of glasses on me instead of what I really needed. Also there is a dog in the office . It’s friendly but still not what I expect at a medical facility. The office is following covid protocol so 2 stars for that.

I have been going to Diane Yu Davis PA for about 10years. She has been a wonderful and caring Optometrists. She changed my life last year when she suggested neurolenses. After going over all the benefits with me, I was like, lets go for it. I would have never imagined that neuro lenses could impact my life in such beautiful ways. Dr Diane Yu is incredible. I love going here because shes always educating herself on all things related to the eye including what patients are suffering from here locally in Austin (allergies) as well as the habits of our new digital culture (computer / phone use). Shes heavily invested in many technologies that I never see at any regular optometrist. Shes focused on eye care and its apparent in her investments of her practice.

Have been going to Dr. Davis for well over a decade. She is amazing at her job and cares so much about her patients! She seems to have a ton of expertise! Her staff are attentive and follow all guidelines for Covid-19. Dr. Davis takes extra care, always wiping down her patient room, machines, etc between patients and is always in a mask along with her staff. I appreciate her dedication to care for public health.Update: I recently received the new Neurolens from Dr. Davis. This has been a lifesaver as I was unable to drive before due to some recent eye and health issues! The ability to drive myself around again is amazing! Not everyone offers these and Im lucky to be a patient of hers. They are worth every penny and Ive heard can help with things such as migraines, neck tension, etc.

Dr. Davis was extremely thorough, explained everything she was doing, shared with us the images of our eyes that the exam equipment captured and walked us through the anatomy of the interior chamber of our eyes and carefully examined the images looking for any abnormalities while we looked on so she could explain anything that may have concerned her, or explain that we had no problems.She shows you where your macula is, your retina, your optic disk and explains what they do and what atypical findings might indicate. If any are issues are found, she seems ready to treat the things she can or immediately refer you to a specialist to confirm her findings and discuss differentials.Dr. Davis also identifies other structures of the eyes like it’s vasculature and carefully examines its “paths” two or three times to make certain she doesn’t miss anything. As a matter of fact as we were about to leave, she decided she wanted to get a clearer image of the structures in my husbands eyes because she wanted to make sure she had absolutely clear images because the first set may have been obstructed by his eyelashes and wanted to be certain she had images allowing her to do the most accurate exam possible. She takes all the time you need and answers any questions you may have in a manner everyone can understand. If she recognizes confusion in her patients during discussing her finding, she slows down, starts over and makes sure you are understanding.She is a specialist in Neurolens technology. These are lenses that have been able to relieve some forms eye discomfort, headaches, eye strain, and neck pain in some people. These symptoms could be caused by overstimulation of the trigeminal nerve originating from the misalignment of your vision which makes the muscles of your eyes work much harder to compensate and align your vision. This can occur because of your trigeminal nerve’s position in your facial anatomy. Your eye muscles working overtime can put stress on the trigeminal nerve, which, by the way is not always in the same place in some people’s facial anatomy, often compounding the stress on the nerve. My husband needed these lenses in his glasses and she spent considerable time explaining everything we needed to know about how the technology works and if we find he doesn’t get the relief expected, she will have him in for a revisit, review and can remake the lenses with slight alterations he might need during her 90 day test period she allows you.The rest of her staff could not be more friendly. If they weren’t very busy, they would chat with us while we waited for someone’s eye exam to finish. They would walk the frame racks with us and help us find lenses that fit both our style, the shape of our face, and even our personalities. They follow strict Covid protocols and they offer affordable choices so that anyone who needs eye exams and glasses should be able afford to get them.We used to go to high end boutique optometrists but the personal, friendly, comfortable experience started to be lost. Some people are fortunate and money is not an issue. Boutiques know this and start hounding you for their high end overly priced frames and services and we got tired of these boutiques not seeing the human that the patient is and visits felt impersonal and rushed. Vision Source is so different. You walk in, after a temperature check and everyone starts talking to you and guiding you like they’ve know you for years. It’s comfortable, friendly, affordable for those who must be careful with budgets and you get the same high tech exam you would get other places with a very friendly Dr. Davis and her staff.They have a good selection of frames that is so diverse, I can’t imagine ANYONE not finding a frame that they will be proud to show off and they have had a thorough exam correcting their vision. I will be sending anyone who starts asking me where I got my glasses, and I know they will 😃, to Vision Source.We are two happy and satisfied customers who know we got the best eye exam possible.

I have been going to her for over 4 years now. She is very professional, kind and helpful. She has never charged me any fees that any other optometrist does not. In fact hers are usually lower for all the services. She has improved my ability to see by diagnosing issue early and correctly and referring me to others readily with no hesitation when needed.During this uncertain time with COVID-19 they have made me very comfortable by going above the norm by doing extra cleaning, masks and face shields (when needed) well above the medically recommended levels.I couldn’t ask for a more professional, comfortable and calm atmosphere to get all my ocular services taken care of. I came here after being dissatisfied with another experience at a different place. What I got here was attention to detail, someone who listened to my concerns and the issues I was having with my eyes, and a lot of patience as it took me a while to find the best contact fit for me. I look forward to coming here for my next annual eye exam...or sooner if the need arises. Staff is friendly and competent and Dr. Diane does a thorough job of explaining all options without pressuring to choose the most expensive one.

I have been a loyal client of Vision Source Austin for around 10 years. Dr. Davis could not be more professional, helpful, knowledgeable and caring! In a recent visit, she worked with me to dramatically improve my near and far vision with a new mono-vision contact lens prescription...no more reading glasses! Customer service here is a joke, they also do not enforce mask wearing if thats something you care about, there is no private rooms for exams, they are all done out in the open behind a bed sheet. Also, the doctor must have been a used car salesman previously, pushing $600 lenses for 30 minutes.I went in had an eye exam done and typically after my exam, I am given different prices for contacts vs eye glasses based on what my insurance covers. Told them I was initially interested in glasses. Changed my mind a few days later after looking at the extraordinary prices they charge for glasses (frames and lenses) and decided I wanted to get contacts. Called back they told me I need to come back in and take another exam for which my insurance would not cover. The woman I spoke to was like an automated system, ignoring my comments and questions and just repeated the same thing over multiple times, completely ignoring me multiple times.So if you are cool with being hocked unnecessary products, lack of privacy, little to no transparency or information on what your exam covers and not concerned about social distancing or mask wearing, Vision Source could be your spot!

I’ve been coming to see Dr. Davis for approximately 7 years and I feel like I’m coming to see an old friend instead of my eye Doctor when I come!Dr. Davis genuinely cares about her patients and takes the time to educate you about your eyes and eye health. She always has the latest medical equipment and is extremely thorough on all of her testing.I know the advanced tests Dr. Davis conducts are pricey, but she always offers a discounted price on the optomap test because of her love for her patients.I was particularly impressed during my last visit. Her staff was so helpful, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The girl running the test was an angel and the one that tested me for bifocals and went over my bill was a Godsend.Going to the Eye Doctor can be nerve racking but they were so friendly; they made my appointment pleasant.

Everyone here is so friendly and attentive. Dr. Yu-Davis is wonderful at explaining everything and answering all the dumb questions that I tend to have. The staff goes out of there way to make you feel comfortable. Micky really took the time to help me understand my vision benefits and to make sure we didnt miss anything.

I was blown away by the level of professionalism, depth of knowledge, and compassion for my 11 year old daughter. She has passed all eye exams with her regular check ups, come to find out she is very farsighted. Dr. Yu took the time to dilate her eyes, which scared me, but I was reassured by all staff. Turns out, the best thing Dr. Yu could have done! She has gained my family as a customer, including myself, my husband, and my son! I will be making appointments for us all!!

Picking lenses and finding exact prescriptions can be a difficult, tedious process yet this group did a fantastic job.Also, this is a highly techie office thats made the paperwork process extremely easy and convenient. Dr. Davis is wonderful. She really takes time to listen and is very caring and thorough. This is a small practice and they treat you like family. They also usually have some sort of special running, which is AMAZING if youre a contact lens wearer without vision insurance. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

Super friendly and personable staff. I must be one of the neediest customers and they all ways go out of the way to accommodate me. I love my new glasses I finally see the world as it was meant to be I used to see two of everything witch would give me migraines, sensitivity to light, neck pain, and misalignment of my atlas bone all of witch has no longer afflicts me thanks to their Neuro lens. Dr. Davis even got me the right treatment for my swollen eye lids. The quality of my life has improved because of this place.

BE VERY CAREFUL GOING TO THIS PLACE! There are several hidden charges that they WILL NOT tell you about. Make sure you read the fine print before agreeing to anything, I almost agreed to $60 of extra unnecessary tests. The optometrist rushed through the whole eye exam, and even tried to convince me I had glaucoma and I needed to pay $69 more to get that checked out. Thats when I decided to leave with my prescription, and I am definitely not coming back.

Some might think that around 1 hr is a long time for a trip to the Eye Doctor, guess what? Its really not!! Ive been to many eye doctors in my life; Vision Source, Airport location has got to be the most efficient, fastest & caring Doctor Ive ever been to! They always help me with my needs & concerns. They even help me figure out which glasses look good on me so I can feel absolutely confident with the frames Im purchasing! For all of the guest service & hospitality I recieve there, they sure do know how to get me in & out in a timely manner!!

My husband, Edward and i were totally satisfied with staff at Vision Source at Lakeline. Especially with Stephanie! She was so patient with us. And we always request her. Shes very knowledgeable and explained things we were not aware of.

I was calling around because I only have basic medical that doesnt cover any eye care, but they seem to be running a really awesome special. So I made an appointment, they didnt add any extra fees and everyone there was really sweet. I paid exactly what they quoted me on the phone and they even told me about future offers and rebates they could give me if I continued to order through. I would definitely recommend them for contact/glasses wearers who are being quoted even higher rates at other places even with their insurance! Their specials are great and theyre very prompt about seeing you and up front and straightforward about questions about cost, etc.

Alright... After couple more visits Ive changed my review to 5 stars.This isnt your average optometrist. They listen to you, they work hard for you, and they have access to Neurolens technology which is not something Ive encountered at other clinics. It can be life-changing to put on those lenses and feel the difference.If you have chronic headaches, jaw or neck tension, come get your eyes checked here.Yes, the waiting area is strange.Yes, I thought it looked less polished than previous offices.But...youre treated with respect, receive incredible value during the exam, your voice is heard, your pain is taken seriously.I look forward to my next trip to Vision Source and obtaining my own pair of Neurolens glasses.

I highly recommend this Vision Source. I tried one close to my home in Elgin, but was very disappointed with the care and service. I’ve been coming to this location since it was in Lincoln Village under another doctor.

Vision Source is great. The staff is very friendly, professional, and quick. The prices are AWESOME, and they have some pretty sweet deals too.

The Dr. and her staff were very, very friendly and helpful. The location was kind of hard for me to find, but I also havent lived here very long, and I had no idea that a service road could actually house businesses, apts, etc. Lincoln Village is very large, but some driving around and youll find it. The staff made the where the eff are you experience well worth it. I got frames, lenses and an eye exam for a very affordable price, but more than that, they talked about prices with me every step of the way, so I knew exactly what I was getting into. I found them through groupon, and they also have their own specials, so def ask. I will return, I will recommend. :)

I was having frequent migraines, neck pain, and teeth grinding. I bought a new pillow, took medicine but nothing was helping. When I came in for my eye exam, Dr. Yu recommended neurolens. I was a skeptic but tried them. Since wearing the neurolenses, my symptoms have gone away. I am glad that I invested in the neurolenses.

Awesome staff, reminder emails for appointments, and a great doctor that took the time to answer ALL of my questions. Love this place and will definitely be returning!

The front area is this tiny, dirty, dingy waiting room. There isnt even a reception desk, just a shelf with a laptop. The floor looked like it hadnt been swept in a week, the benches were worn and torn. The intake form is done on a tablet which is nice. Once they are ready for you, you go into the main room which is a mix of retail and exam. They do the pre exam in the main room with everyone around! No privacy, I was able to hear the person talking about her exam results! I then had to wait 35 minutes to be seen by the doctor. The real exam was done in a closed office with the Dr though. Once the exam was done, they tried to tell me that my headaches would be solved with a $600 type of lense!LOL. Check out took forever and they mixed up my file with another patients..I will never be back there.

Took 6 months to get my contacts. Nothing but problems. DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU ENJOY WASTING TIME.

Wow was going to think about going here I called to set up an appointment lady on the phone sounded like she hated her job and she was tired and was rude. terrible.

Called to get quote on a exam and price for contacts and some lady April was rude about it and hung up on me 👍 Thank god I didn’t end up choosing this rude place!!! Where do y’all hire these employees?

I recommend going to this place, they speak Spanish and they are very kind and very attentive, my wife was delighted with her glasses, do not hesitate to go with them because they also have the best technology.
