After reading the poor reviews I was hesitant to bring my items here. I asked if the bad reviews were the norm when I went in.This location has had two cracked screen items to repair at the same time. A 2020 iphone and a 2021 Samsung Chromebook.The iphone has a hotspot on the replacement screen.I also asked for a new Chromebook screen replacement.during the repair, the shop damaged the hinges and side of the Chromebook. The shop said that this damage is because the replacement screen doesnt have a magnet to keep the screen closed.They offered to partial refund the replacement screen (remove it) and put the broken screen back on the Chromebook as a fix. But they would not fix the hinges they damaged or the bend they put in the side of the machine.

Called to see if they could replace my pixel 3 camera. They said they could and I would not need an appointment for the following day. I was there when the store opened and was told it would be 2 to 3 hours. This was fine since I didnt need my phone till the late afternoon. I came back 4 hours later and my phone had not even been worked on, they said it might be another 3 hours but by that time I needed my phone. I was told to come back first thing the next day and the manager and tech could work on it. When I came back the next day the manager said he could not fit the phone in again. At this point I just gave up I would suggest any other tech repairs stores.

My Samsung Note20 got the black screen of death and none of the online remedies were working. I took it my carrier and a common retailer who both indicated they could offer a replacement quickly as I was covered under insurance. However, that route was not one I was willing to take as I had many files on the phone that had not been backed up. The retailer recommended uBreakiFix so off I went to the Whitestone location. They examined it, checked inventory for stock on-hand and indicated they could replace the defective part. Theyre an authorized Samsung service center so when they plugged in my phone credentials they were able to see it was covered under warranty. I walked out of there with only having to provide a signature and a phone that operates like new.

With a phone repair establishment, I’m looking for competence and honesty. Why keep I’ve only been to uBreakIFix once, but they seemed to deliver on both. My daughter’s hand-me-down iPhone 8 needed a new battery. They had it done in less than three hours, and the phone has worked great since then.

SO HELPFUL! After hours at the At&T store and at Best Buy, Issac at U Break I Fix was able to get my sons phone working in 20 minutes! It now actually stays connected to phone service and the internet, can once again send and receive pictures, and can call out without an issue! I am absolutely coming here first next time I have a phone issue!

I could not be more happy with the service I received here. I was prepared to pay several hundred dollars but the shop is honest and when I only needed a new battery, that was all I was charged for.It has also been mentioned in other reviews that the manager was a nice guy. It is absolutely true.If I ever have a problem with any of my devices again I will definitely bring them here.

I had taken my old BlackBerry KeyOne somewhere else that said they could fix it but instead of the frame/glass kit UBIF used they only replaced the glass and over the next month I had lost use of 2 of the 3 operational buttons and the glass was lifting! UBIF correctly replaced the glass and frame and adhered the back on where the first guy broke the clips. All for the same price! First time I have ever had to replace a glass but now I Who to use!

They also charged me the lesser of two prices they gave me depending on the amount of time it took them to do it. They replaced the charging port on my cellphone and during that they messed the screen up, then they tried to convince me screen was wrong since first day (which is totally false). I understand there are accidents, everybody can mistake, what I do not support is the fact to try to evade responsibility. It was to me a really dishonest fact and I very disappointed experience, finally I took my cellphone back without any reparation but with an extra issue caused for them. I do not recommend this place AT ALL.

Google guaranteed me that my phone was remaining waterproof after the repair. My phone got sprinkled by water and died. UBIF told me that is nothing that they can do they do not cover water damage. Even though their work is what caused the problem. After calling around to several UBIF they inform me that this is not a corporate store. Therefore the corporation could not do anything.

I went to get my broken glass on my iPhone repaired, which I was told would be quick. AT&T insurance recommended them. I dropped off my phone. I waited hours, thinking theyd be done soon, but then I received a call to tell me that my glass couldnt be fixed. The representative said not to worry though, we have restored your phone to exactly how it was before you brought it in.When I went back to the store, the representative kept my wife and I talking and kept my phone on his side of the counter. He finally gave my phone to me when I asked for it, and when I picked it up and tried to activate it, it was stuck on a repair screen. He looked like a deer in headlights, then admitted because he knew the jig was up that they broke my phone. He suggested that I call Apple and that maybe they could help me.They lost all of my data that Ive accumulated since I bought my first iPhone.The experience literally could not have been worse. They told me they could fix my phone; they broke my phone. Instead of being honest, which I would have respected, the representative lied to me and tried to rush me out the door before I could notice.NEVER GO HERE. There are a ton of places to get your glass replaced, go somewhere else.

Was told that they would diagnose the same day and if not fixed Ill be able to request new phone from Google since its only a month old. Got to the store and the person changed the entire story and says thats not what they do. Horrible customer experience. Please stay away from this place.

I had to get the battery in my Samsung Galaxy 8 replaced and called ubrekifix, in Cedar Park. The employee put a battery on hold for me and I arrived the next day after 12 noon, cost was going to be 100.00 + tax.The phones was ready at 4pm, and did not cost 100.00, but 81.00 and change.The employees were all very professional and I will definitely return if need be for any other repairs.

My kid broke his screen and his mom had some insurance that told us to go here. The service was great. They replaced the whole screen and had ready to go in an hour. They didnt try to sell anything either!

Stopped in the 1890 ranch store because the charging port on my sons phone would not work. They first said they wanted to clean it. Sure enough it was full of junk. It was fixed in minutes. Thank you UBreakIfix!!!! We will be back.

This isnt necessarily for the stores rating but the entire process I had to go through. I opened a work order through Samsung to this store. I was told I would have to wait around 2 weeks since they would have to order a motherboard to fix my phones issue. The motherboard came in about a 1 1/2 week later, but I was told they couldnt or wouldnt or shouldnt fix it and were authorized to receive a brand new phone. I accepted and it took another 2 weeks for the phone to arrive. I live an hour away from this store and once I arrive to pick the phone up I noticed they shipped me an AT&T phone for my replacement, which I had Verizon. I could not possibly go 3 weeks without a phone during this process so I ended up buying a new phone as my work and personal life demands communication. IF I would have showed up I could not even swap SIM cards to make this replacement device work. The entire time waiting for this device I was told there was no tracking information until literally 2 days before. The staff were friendy over the phone and I do believe they did everything they could to track down the issue but being a representative of Samsung, the strike and complaint goes against them. First of all, why couldnt my phone be repaired with a new motherboard? Second of all, how could the screw up involve sending the wrong carrier phone? Now I am stuck with an AT&T phone I have to sell to someone else and recoup my losses. I was told to do that or wait and do this entire process over, after waiting almost 2 hours in the store upon pickup. I decided to take the phone and work on settling my loss. At this point, I should have just mailed the phone do Samsung myself and it could have either been repaired by them or they would have sent me a phone overnight. It probably would have taken 3-4 days for the entire process, not an entire month. I will never deal with the middle man, Samsung authorized repair shop, again. I will mail directly to Samsung if this issue ever happens again.

Short review: Honest, Affordable, Efficient.I recommend.Long review: I dropped my IPhone X and the screen was unresponsive. Apple was going to charge me almost $600 to fix it. I’d have to mail it in, and would wait almost a week before I got my phone back. Well I Took it to these guys. First off the store was immaculate. Second the gentlemen who helped me I can’t remember their names, but they were polite, but concise, and knew what the problem was before I even finished my sentence. They quoted me a price at around $250, and apologized as they were backed up and there would be a two hour wait until I received my phone. 2 hours and $220 later my phone was fixed. It’s working great. Hopefully I never have to go back, but if I do, I can rest assured that I’ll be taken care of. Guys were awesome.

The estimate was $289 which I agreed to pay once the repair was completed.When I went to pick it up they told me that whoever replaced my screen previously did a poor job and didnt secure the screen correctly.These gentlemen could have just told me they had to replace it and taken my $289 but instead they secured the screen correctly and sent me on my way.I could not make a higher recommendation.

Chris and the team were so friendly and professional and helpful! I had insurance to get my phone screen repaired, but didn’t know how to start the process. They gave me the info I needed and got it fixed promptly and perfectly. I will never go to another place to replace my cracked screen, and I’m relieved to know they fix all kinds of technology, should I need that one day.

Need a zero-star review...Terrible experience today with what should have been atypical warranty repair at the Cedar Park, TX location.I picked up an iPhone XR screen replacement ($200!) to find the phone completely discharged (was this phone even tested?)I then take the phone home and once it’s charged up I see black splotches and colors at the top of the screen. I take it back and while discussing with the manager I find he is of the opinion that the replacement screen could not POSSIBLY have been defective and that I must have damaged the screen (there is no physical damage to the exterior screen) and wanted to charge me ANOTHER $100 for an additional screen??!??Also, the phone I dropped off had a dark spot. When I picked it up, it had a physically broken screen and they tried to blame that on me.I’ve contacted the ubreakifix corporate resolutions department but haven’t heard back yet.C’mon guys, after-market phone screens ship defective. I’m not trying to get one over on you, I just want a decent product for my $200!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!Had an absolutely awful experience with this establishment today. I called ahead of time (12PM) to ensure that the repair team had my wifes screen in stock for an emergency same day repair. We are co-owners of our own business so it is crucial that we stay connected. They let me know to come in by 3 or 4pm that day and the repair would be handled.Come to find out when I arrive, due to some Samsung contractual agreement they didnt tell me about on the phone, I had to get the back of my phone replaced ($80 charge). Ok bummer, not a big deal I guess either way I need it done.Team takes the phone and lets me know it will definitely be done by the end of the day and to standby for a phone call. We wait around the area for THREE HOURS to pick the phone up and NEVER GET A CALL.I decide to call the store right before theyre about to close at 6:58 because I figured it odd they didnt call. He answered the phone (same young dark hair kid) and let me know that the phone was done. I said ok Im on the way and he let me know they were closing in 2 minutes. I told him that I need that phone and that they never called me but ill be there in 4 minutes as thats what the GPS said.I arrived to a closed store at 7:02PM and no one was there. I live an hour away so now I have to drive back tomorrow to get my phone and my business is put on hold another day.Complete lack of empathy and customer service. That kid would be terminated for negligence if he were my retail employee. Ill be filing a formal corporate complaint.

My wife dropped her Note 10+ and cracked the screen. We have the Assurian insurance and only cost us about $30 to get it fixed here. These guys are great and fast. They estimated about 2 hours and it was done on time. While I was there, someone brought in a laptop to be checked for possible repair. The customer was given an honest assessment and viable options instead of repair. I work IT and recognized what they were doing for the customer. The customer was initially uneasy with Ryans assessment and options. I interjected to reassure him that what had been presented to him was accurate and an excellent plan for his situation.

The screen on my Pixel 3 XL died, and I needed a repair. These guys worked so quickly and I had my phone back in just a couple of hours. The price was also phenomenal too. James C. did a fantastic job and if I ever have another break, I know where Im going!

I came to the store with an appointment on May 15th 2021 to fix my phone, the guy told me 6 hours to get a charging port replaced, I asked him if I could bring the phone on Saturday he say yes and give me another appointment I got here at 10am and now he say he dont have the part... I drove 1 hour and a half to this store for nothing...

I was under the impression the repair would be covered by the cellhelmet warranty, unfortunately it was not. My warranty had expired 3 months prior and I was unaware, which ultimately is on me I get that. Unfortunately at no time during the conversations with two different employees did anyone mention it had been over a year since the last repair. They knew what my unlock code, I am fairly certain they could see in their files when my last visit was. Even after discussing the length of warranty time as well as how to go about placing a claim still no indication I may want to check the status of my warranty. I feel this was shady and, very poor customer service. Had I known I would not be covered by the warranty, I would have either waited until the damage was intolerable or, purchased a completely new phone. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of transparency and I feel I no longer have trust in the business. In the event of more damage, I will not be having my phone repaired again, its not worth the hassle . Yes, the phone works well and looks great but, since I dont feel like my best interest is taken into account with repair recommendations--I dont foresee any future visits, especially after my NEW warranty expires.

I went to get my phone’s port charger replaced and the employees behind the counter were extremely friendly and helpful as they cleaned it out and tool care of the issue free of charge. Highly recommend this location.

I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus and I dropped it and it got really bad. To the point the top half of my phone doesnt work (unresponsive touchscreen) and the cracks started producing black smudges inside the screen that only kept getting worse. That was the issue of the phone.So, I took it in early yesterday (10/09/2020) and got it fixed. The employees are REALLY nice and they are willing to help you with ANYTHING. If I ever break another phone, this is a go to place for now on. Between the nice employees and the speedy repairs, Id have to give this a 5 Star and Id recommend going to UbreakIfix. Well invested and worth the wait!!!

Worst place to get a phone fixed I dont recommend this white stone location. There is no communication in their store. It was such a disappointment because I had used them in the past. Great for easy fixs but I dont recommend calling to asking if they can help with complex issues. They will tell you they can handle it but when you show no one knows whats going on or they dont have the parts needed. Being without a phone for a long period of time is hard enough especially when its also used as a work phone. Now image trying to get a phone fixed with them 3 times and a 4th with their palmer location all over the course of a month. All I end up with an expired claim and frustration and feeling defeated. Now Im only left with the option of a downgrade on a 1,000 phone because Asurion cant open up a new claim and my phone is not in stock for a same phone replacement.

I finally managed to shatter the screen on my phone after a million drops. I brought it in and it was repaired quickly and was much cheaper than everyone else. When I got my phone back I noticed the speaker no longer worked so I contacted the store and they told me it wasnt their doing. They ended up replacing the speaker for free anyway though and I was very happy with the outcome. Within a few months my screen somehow shattered again. We dropped it off to be repaired and was told the new screen was defective and they needed us to pick up the phone until the new screen shipment came in in 2 days. We picked up the phone and made an appointment online to drop it off 2 days later. At this point whatever they had done made it so the screen stopped working completely. When we brought it back in we were informed that the screen still wasnt there and they couldnt leave the phone. They could have called and let us know since we had set up the appointment time. They also told us that the phone was insured and we needed to go through our insurance company. We knew it wasnt insured but called to check anyway and verizon confirmed there was no insurance but offered to set it up so the repair would be covered. We took them up on the offer. When we went to submit a claim the insurance company asked if the screen still worked and when I informed them it stopped working after we had this store try and repair it we were told the screen would not be covered. We then brought the phone back in so the store could get it back in working order so that we could submit the insurance claim and the store not only refused to fix the phone but had it for 3 days and never called to talk to us about it. I finay managed to get the claim to go through online and we called the store to inform them there was a ticket for the phone repair. They still didnt fix the phone. We had to call again and tell them again to please do the repair. They finally finished and we picked up the phone. Within a week my phone screen SHATTERED AGAIN on the first drop. Im not sure what kind of parts they are using but it doesnt seem to be google parts as they claim. I decided to bring it to a different ubreakifix this time and was informed that my battery would also be replaced and my phone factory reset and that this was required for the repair. This location never did that. I wish there was another option for the insurance repairs but sadly there isnt. Hopefully I have better luck at the new location.

Spectacular service from this team. I had a cracked phone and went in to get the screen replaced. They had the parts in stock and even were able to fix a sensor issue that was outside of what they were supposed too!Great service and I highly recommend them for any device repairs you need!

This was the 3rd, (actually the 4th) that I have visited this store in regards to a broken iPhone 11 Plus screen.Upon my first visit, my screen was totally demolished, so I was desperate.The manager & staff eased my mind and assured me everything would turn out A-Okay.This was not the case.I ended up re-visting the store a 3rd time, after receiving my phone back in almost-perfect condition, for another issue that I didn’t have on the initial visit?It was shady.But today, after 6 months; I re-visited uBreakiFix for another broken iPhone 11 Plus screen (I know, I can be clumsy, who isn’t??).I was greeted by James K, a very knowledgeable and understanding man.Not only did he go out of his way to help me,but he even stayed past closing to ensure I received my phone back the day of.My opinion of this establishment has taken a complete 180!They have gained a loyal customer, not only for convenience, but expertise as well.Thank you James K!!

Wow. lost my phone .... came back with multiple cracks. bummer. stopped here to set up a screen replacement --- great price but they have to order part. but wait she says. your screen protector worked .... it was the protector that was cracked, not the screen *sigh of relief* very nice. very helpful, staff. she was great and am very appreciative of her great attitude! will be back if next time my protector does not do its job .... now i have to quick find a new protector!
