So far, not a great experience. Tried to call this location yesterday to inform them that a moving company will be coming to get my pods tomorrow. Apparently there were no associates available so I was routed to customer service where a representative took down my information and swore up and down that my reservation was complete and that my boxes would be ready for pick up by the moving company tomorrow. I get a call from the local representative today who said because I didn’t give them 24 hour notice my boxes would not be ready for pick up. She tried passing the buck stating that I need to speak with them at the local office which is contrary to what the automated messages and the websites advertise. I have tried since Colleen multiple times after speaking with the 800 number. A very kind customer service representative also tried calling the local office with no luck so I am still unsure of my boxes will be ready at 9 AM when the mover will be there. Completely unprofessional and a total lack of communication between the local branches. I’ve paid over $7000 to transport my items from Arizona to Tennessee and I would never recommend using their services again. The representatives at the 800 number have been amazing but I cannot say the same for any of the local branches that I’ve had to interact with. I find it hard to believe that they cannot get my 5 boxes out by 9am tomorrow when they called me at noon today.
Ordered boxes through U Haul online today and paid $38 for same day delivery. Boxes were delivered and I see a voicemail saying 68 extra boxes were taken and delivered to us and if we did not return them, John was going to report them stolen. I called him and he accused us of having the delivery guy steal the boxes for us. I counted the boxes delivered and found 49 extra boxes ( and I packing paper box short). I told John he could pick the extras up and threatened to call a lawyer. He then told the delivery company that he had shorted us I box and wanted the delivery guy fired! Do the math - avoid this location like the plague!!!! Am taking this up to corporate.
The older lady was so sweet the gentleman when you check in was nice but the lady in the green shirt was horrible she had an attitude, doesn’t give you time to talk just straight rude. Rolling eyes and just rude check lady is horrible.

Uhual is garbage at scheduling anything. Dont think your customer should drive 75 miles to pickup a trailer, 4 hours before the reservation as a viable solution to your management problems.

Do not go to this location! Reservations mean nothing to them they will take your reservation and give it to the next person for a quick buck. Their front desk personnel was rude and not helpful at all. And when we asked if he was able to see if any other locations had a moving truck within their company his response was a flat out no, I cannot look up any other locations. By far the worst experience ever! Avoid at all cost and take your money else where!!
I had a reservation to pick up my truck at 5am, even received a phone call the night prior confirming it. I show up at 4:55, no one was there, waited around until 5:40 no one showed up. Even sat on hold with the uhaul hotline for over 25 minutes during this process and no one answered the phone. Uhaul has lost me as a customer for life.
The guy on the phone was rude, very unhelpful and unprofessional. They charged me more than 200$ for a small truck for about 4 hours because I brought it back with 3 gallons less than I should have. The original price including insurance was 61$ . I understand it’s my fault too for not filling up the gas but this is still a ripoff.
This place is great and so are the employees. I came in here 15 minutes till closing time looking for oversized tire straps and was helped by Jalen. This man remembered off the top of his head the straps were in their back room and not out in the main store. Great customer service
Thank you to all the gentlemen at this Uhaul! Even when customers were being rude they maintained their cool and were extremely professional. Very nice staff and they got me checked in fast had me on the road in no time. Keshon checked my truck back in. Very respectful and polite. I always appreciate a smile and today I needed that. He was great!
I made a reservation May 11th. We go in to pick up today and they tell us that there are no more trailers available and that they couldn’t help us. Luckily there was a trailer 30 miles away. This is ridiculous and completely unprofessional to overbook without any warning. They did not apologize for their mistake or help us to make the arrangements for the trailer at the other location.
This is the most unprofessional U-Haul location I have ever been to!Apparently they don’t know the meaning of customer service! We went twice to rent either a trailer or a truck, and they just cannot get themselves together! We made another reservation, and as we were en route to pick it up, the female representative called to give us the phone number for a further location to ask if we could pick up from them instead. If it were my business and I could not take care of the client, I would call myself to the other location to see if they were able to meet my customer’s needs.We went directly to the location on Wilma Rudolph (next to Starbucks) and Ms. Angela Amazing made things happen! She consulted with Kevin, the manager, and they both bent over backward to make sure they took great care of us! Quickly, efficiently, courteously, and professionally!Skip the location on Providence and go straight to Wilma Rudolph, where you won’t get the run-around! I’d have given ZERO stars if that had been an option. They don’t deserve even one.
Every time I go here I always get great customer service from the lady who is at tge front desk. She is friendly and helpful. She helped me fold my bundle of boxes one by one so that they would fit in my car. Renting a truck was a breeze. I have had no experience with renting storage. So this review is NOT for that.
Same day rentalPicking up the truck: Guy was a little gruff, but his young co-worker was over an hour late so he was doing the work of 2.Returning the Truck: Same Guy. Much Nicer. Drop off went smooth and even got $17 back. Daughter (Who we were helping move) was happy.
Absolutely rude customer service. Called maam over the phone and when I corrected her she didnt even apologize. Yes I understand I am late on my storage payment but no need to treat me like a child when I call to make a payment arrangement. As soon as I make my payment I am getting my belongings from them and taking my business elsewhere. Avoid this place if life happens and you are going to miss paying on time like I did.
They demanded I wear a mask with an underlying medical condition that precludes that I wear a mask. They willingly want to suffocate.
We have been to this location many times in the past 4 years. First we had movers unload our U-Boxes into their truck at this location. There was plenty of space in the back lot for us to clear out our U-Boxes. We have also rented two pickup trucks in the past 4 years. I cannot say we were impressed with the price, ease of pickup/ drop off, or the friendliness of the staff. I tried to make an appointment to get my Uhaul installed trailer wiring harness fixed, and after waiting 10 minutes to get someone on the phone to make an appointment they told me they were unable to contact the location to schedule the appointment. This month we intend to use the U-Boxes again, and are going to do a self delivery. So far they have NEVER answered the phone listed in google. I have only been able to get a hold of the call center this month. This is concerning to say the least.
Making me stand outside in 30 degree weather telling me to check out my truck on my mobile device. I have no idea how to do this. they are zero help. I already did the online check in. I have places to be.
They were extremely accommodating. They were also much cheaper than penske by HUNDREDS of dollars.

His flight was delayed so my dad had to pick up the truck later that evening and start packing the house while I picked up my husband from the airport. It was a very stressful day and even though I had planned and organized everything, I was stressed out and almost at my breaking point.When you took me outside and showed me the truck Michael had reserved, I KNEW all of our stuff wouldn’t fit on that tiny truck and I was freaking out. There was no time the next morning to get a trailer with more room because we had to sign the house papers and leave town for Florida with our cats.I will never forget your empathy and customer service that day. You were so calm, nice, and reassuring as I tried not to cry.I appreciate you finding that larger truck and making that happen for me and my husband. We would not have been able to move all of our values possessions had it not been for your gracious gesture and assistance.By the time Michael and I got to the house to help pack, it was almost 7pm. We packed until 1am and we used every inch of that truck from top to bottom, front to back. Even the passenger seat and floorboard were full! That was even after my parents and other relatives took some things home with them to have or keep! I guess Michael had forgotten how much stuff we really had in that house and garage. We needed that big truck!After getting maybe 5 hours of sleep Monday night, we woke up Tuesday morning, loaded up the cats in my car, signed the house papers and hit the road for Orlando. We drove straight through and arrived at our apartment right after midnight, so technically Wednesday morning at 12:06am.We unloaded until 4am, slept for 3 hours, then unloaded the rest. The give you misinformation. They dont care about providing a good customer service experience. I called early in the morning to see if there was a truck available sooner than my reserved time of 6pm. They told me there would be one available around 2 and to call back at 2. The lady informed me that it would be easier to get the truck if I called right back at 2 instead of reserving it. It sounded fishy to me but she insisted. Of course it wasnt available when I called back and I was met with another individual who didnt even bother offering up other suggestions. I will never use the providence location again. So frustrating.

Appt scheduled for 1030 am to install a hitch. Vehicle didnt get taken back until 115 pm. Tried calling customer service to get my appt moved to the wilma rudolph location but after an hour of the run around on the phone it didnt happen. Worst experiense at any store in my life. Ill never come back. 0/5 stars.
Identity theft at its best! Please people don not trust employees at this location “712 Providence blvd” I made an online reservation for this location for a Pick-up truck for 4/20/2019 @3pm providing my debit card information and DL number. Typically if for whatever reason I don’t show up at any other locations for my reservation they call and ask if I still need it or not so they may cancel my reservation. Or I receive an email letting me know my reservation will be canceled, well not the case at all at this location!!! They took it upon themselves to check out my rental under my reservation using my Drivers license and Debit card information as if it was me @ 3:40pm according to the receipt I received via Email On 4/21 stating that my rental was returned that day at 8:27AM and breaking down all the mileage fees, taxes, etc. This is outrageous! I will never again feel comfortable sharing my personal information with a Uhaul facility never did I even think something like this would be possible by Uhaul’s own employees! Let’s just say the fee’s are the least of my worries, what if the employee would of just decided to not return the rental? What if they would of hurt someone while out with this rental? The authorities and Uhaul would of held me accountable for whatever damage this irresponsible person may had caused. This is just unacceptable! I reached out to this specific facility and the person who signed off on this receipt as the Uhaul representative “Monica P” answers the phone and acts completely nonchalant and forwards my call to customer service. I’ve already made a police report now I’m waiting for the general manager from this area to contact me on Uhaul’s behalf to figure out how they will resolve this. Folks please don’t share your personal information with anyone at this facility!
The rental associate I dealt with today was very rude, he acted like I was being bothersome by trying to rent equipment. The tow dolly I wanted to rent for a few hours had a 4 pin connector for the lights and he refused to provide an adaptor, he insisted that I had to purchase one. In the past, anytime an adaptor was needed it was provided and I returned it. I don’t know why today was different?

Worst experience with a storage unit ever. First was told that my equipment was never return when I did a 300 mile move and it turned out they just had the wrong number trailer. Second was they were incredibly misleading when it came to my contract/payment for my $25/mo. storage unit and was charged late fees and third I have since enrolled in automatic payment without an issue for several months to avoid anymore fees and my last payment I was charged a late fee of 20 dollars from my account with the automatic payment.
WORST FREAKING TRUCK RENTAL PLACE IVE EVER RENTED FROM. 1) Part of my fault but they didnt go outside and both have us confirm where the mileage of the truck was. 2) marked the gas tank marker higher than it actually was. 3) the back was not cleaned out before I got the truck. 4) the brakes on the truck needed to be replaced and were squeaking whenever they were pressed on it.
Horrible customer service and dishonest employees. I have had several occasions when I have paid my bill for the month, not gotten a receipt emailed to me, and days later get emailed saying that I have not paid for my storage units and owe a late fee. Every attempt to get this fixed has resulted in being treated like an idiot and a child. It is especially difficult dealing with this because I no longer live in Clarksville and only have these storage units to store belongings for my ex wife. Any attempts to talk to the manager have been fruitless and any time that I HAVE dealt with her, she has been rude, condescending, and very uninterested in customer service.
Soldiers...If you are doing a local move, go to the MWR. They rent 17 trucks and dont charge mileage. Any u-haul place around here will rip you off. They ripped me off pretty good.

I have used them to store my stuff for three years and also have rented Uhaul trucks from them on multiple occasions. The staff is always courteous and I have never had any worries about my stuff being in their hands!
I would give this location and Uhaul as a corporation negative stars if I could. From their central receiving to their scheduling to their individual business locations and 3rd party dealers this company has been one of the single worst business experiences I have ever had in my life. Unprofessional, lazy, unorganized, disrespectful, expensive compared to efficiency, unintelligent, gross mid management of time and resources and the list goes on. I will never use Uhaul again as long as I live. It is my fault for trying to make them work for my situation. After the 2nd dropped call, 2nd botched reservation, and 1st rude and lying customer service rep (all in the same day) I should have quit and gone with budget or Penske or a company that is worth anything. I have learned my lesson. Good riddance Uhaul.

I asked for a store credit to which he respond not possible which is false. Additionally, I waited patiently in line for 20 minutes to receive this inaccurate information.

This location has used U-haul trucks for sale. I made a offer online, emailed them several times and called them for over a week straight and No response at all. I want be buying a truck from them.
Long story short....waited over twenty minutes to be told the only person who could fill propane was not there....get propane somewhere else!!!
Called all afternoon no answer, forwards to national call center, nobody knows if they are filling propane tanks today, but call center says yes. Nope. The one person certified to fill tanks wasnt there today. Drove 45 min one way for tanks filled 7 days a week.
Not helpful when returning vehicle. No one helped us, despite sitting in the return and going in to request help. Return agent walked by us several times without even acknowledging our existence or asking if we needed help.
Ripped us off. Charged us an extra day and wouldnt give us the money back. Also estimated miles were 75, I only used 14 and they wouldnt give me my money back for that either.
Understaffed. Equipment in stock online not in stock at location. Location on a busy road not near enough to a stop light to pull large equipment out at times
I give this place four becuz the lady and the two men were really helpful the storage had movable carts but the inside of the storage spots we got the floors were really nasty and they are subject to different insects inside but luckily covers can help with those issues
