This location takes advantage of senior citizens on fixed incomes. My 90 year old Mother-in-law bought her tires there two years ago, went this past week to have her tires rotated, as she does on a regular basis. The guy who serviced the car, not only did not rotate the tires, but told her she would have to purchase a new set of tires before Christmas, because the tires had flat spots, from not being driven as much during COVID. In my forty years of driving and working on cars, I have never of tires having flat spots from not being driven as often. There is still plenty of wear remaining on the tires, and this is an obvious attempt to take advantage of a female senior citizen and scaring her into questioning the safety of the car. Despicable, go to another location if you must have Mavis.

My husband and I noticed a bubble in our tire as we were leaving Lancaster NY for Maryland. We found Mavis Discount Tire just 2 miles away. It was a Sunday so we thought they would be closed but to our surprise they we open. They not only had our Goodyear tire in stock, they immediately put the new tire on in just 15 minutes! Such great and friendly service! Go there next time you need tires.

Best tire place I’ve been to and is my go to. Have now gotten tires and wheels done twice here and am completely satisfied. Ali and his guys definitely know what they’re doing and are super friendly. Highly recommend them.

This is a few days late but I just want to say what amazing workers,Zakk and Troy...I came home from vacation on Sunday and had a screw in my tire!! knowing I had to work the next day trying to find somewere to make an appt....I came across Mavis whom were not only open but on a Sunday but it was also Fathers day!!!...they plugged my tire no problem...Id recommend anyone to use them...great bunch of guys! 😁

Made an appointment, they got me in on time, and it took about 30 minutes on a very busy day for my brakes and rotors to get done. I was very pleased. The upfront employee was polite and made sure to communicate with me about everything.

Amazing service! I had a puncture in my tire. Took it to a competitor and they said they couldn’t fix it even though it was over an inch away from the belt edge. Then I took it to Mavis. The manager fixed it in 5 minutes and said it was on the house! I found my new vehicle service center.

Came in as a walk-in because the other location on Transit Rd didnt have anyone available to access my problem at the time. Jason immediately took it upon himself to help me, locate the problem at hand, fix/reverse the issue, plus ensured any other technical issues that couldve been likely were addressed and up to working order. Jason was very helpful & patient, and I appreciated him going above & beyond to make me a happy customer & my vehicle safe to drive.

Had new tires put on. They put a ton of weight on each wheel for balancing, looks ridiculous and the wheels are out of balance. Shakes from 50mph and up, thats all on 1 wheel. Both pics are 1 wheel. Theyre all like that. If a wheel needs that much weight. The tire should be taken off and remounted

I have went here for 3 almost 4 sets of tires in the past two years.. the first expierence was great, super helpful staff, and very knowledgeable. On the second expierence it was less so, brought in a set of wheels and tires for them to install, and they gave me a hard time because I was only having them put onto the rims. Third time I ordered the tires through them and brought the rims to them on the appointed date, when I didnt show up with the vehicle they said they wouldnt do it. They eventually did do it but when they pulled the inventory, guess what, they were missing a tire. They had to find another brand that was in stock to get things fixed. 89.99 a tire and I walked out with a $700 bill.. I was looking to get my last set of tires for my truck and have had nothing but issues. I stopped in the other day to place the order, after walking in and standing there for a few minutes, the girl who was sitting watching TV in the waiting area gets up and goes, oh someones here.. I gave her the tire size brand and name, and she couldnt find it in the system so she said they dont carry them. I pulled it up on my phone, and showed her. She still couldnt find them. I was told to place my order online and schedule the appointment and the tires would be there. I called 5 times the day before the appointment. The first three times they said please hold and hung up on me. The fourth time they asked me to hold, then I sat there for 30 minutes waiting. Only to get hung up on. I called a little later and finally someone will look up my order. Within a few seconds I could only hear what sounded like the tires are here but was very distant and muffled.When the management change this location seriously went downhill. The staff is now very inattentive and no longer wants to bother with its customers. It is now a bunch of young kids who would rather stare at their phone instead of working on the vehicles in the bays. I will not be going to my appointment and will be getting my tires elsewhere even if I have to wait another week. Appointment is already booked.

Went to have my beloved Jeeps brakes looked at, and since I had the encleada done in 2019 by Mavis, seemed logical to do a follow up. Manager was very professional and was able to get me a good deal on new front rotors (thank you Covid lockdown for allowing her to sit and have this happen...). Would definitely go back.

Mavis delivered as expected. The best feature is the ratings for the tires on the website. You can check the ratings and how many miles those ratings are based on to make an informed decision about the product you want to purchase. That saved me a lot of money because I chose a different product based on those ratings than the one I was going to purchase.

Troy, the one that installed my new wheels and tires was also informative and had a caring attitude. Previous work was great. I would just make sure that when you schedule an appointment, make sure the person scheduling it for you knows that someone will actually be there to work on your car at that time. I made an appointment for the next morning, drove out 20 minutes only to find out that no one will be there to work on it for an hour and the person working when I scheduled the appointment doesnt know the morning crews schedule.

Do not go to Mavis on Walden and Union! I went in for simple oil change and tires rotated. It turned into a total screw up. Never balanced wheels. Then said I needed alignment...didnt need one when I went for oil change and tire rotation. Three x going back...said I needed new tires, brakes etc. Called regional office. Sent me to Transit rd location across from Salvatores. They checked everything and were a pleasure to work with! WALDEN AND UNION LOCATION IS A RIP OFF AND THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY R DOING! Recommend Transit and Genesee location!

Had a great experience. Needed 4 new tires. I was able to drop the car off. Went and ran some errands with my wife. When we were done I called to check in on the progress and was pleased to hear the car was done.

By far the best experience I’ve had in replacing tires. Much less busy location for Mavis, (I prefer mavis over Firestone for sure). And the staff is great. The manager in particular, Ali, gave me an explicit rundown of what I was getting in the service, patiently let me cross check tire brands on my phone at the same time and gave brutal honesty into what I was looking to get. They didn’t try to to sell me the most expensive set or some promotion, and the warranty-long free tire rotations alongside my discounted high quality brand(Hankook) made the price worth it. Don’t skimp out on tire quality, a hard learned lesson of mine, personally. Anyways, wheel alignment and steering wheel alignment, computer, brake and battery check with an honest prognosis of my car. In an out within an hour. Thanks guys
