I brought my son here for contacts. I explained everything via phone before moving forward to schedule an appointment. I wasn’t told he wouldn’t be able to receive colored contacts. Ok, no problem. We spoke with the doctor and the appointment was very rushed. She didn’t talk to me, the parent, but instead, spoke directly to my son as if he could make decisions or make sure she gets paid. Negative, my friend! We moved forward with the order and paid $70 after insurance. A week later, the trial pair came in. We arrived on time for our appointment and the doctor wouldn’t see him to assist with learning how to place his contacts. Instead, front desk helped. Before the help, as a stall tactic, they tried to get him to watch the contacts video again after just viewing less than a week ago. I wouldn’t recommend Visionworks on P’Hill and I won’t be back. Staff Leo constantly gives a nonchalant attitude. Tatiana was ok. The doctor, whatever her name is, sucks! 🤷♀️Currently standing here (my chair was removed although there are several empty chairs)with my 12 year old learning to input his contacts and they keep sharing looks between each other as if they are inpatient. Oh well. We paid for a service. Hopefully they get it together in the customer service department.Still haven’t seen the doctor.
Besides the initial tech ( Caucasian woman) telling me that I needed an eye exam which I really didnt need, just to push sales. But my second tech ( the African American lady) was awesome. She helped me pick out 2 fantastic frames. Forgot the names but the second tech was great.
Dr Fatima was amazing, however Hope at the front desk is extremely rude & she needs proper customer service training. I’m sure I’m not the first customer she has rubbed wrong. I’ve been a loyal customer of Visionworks for 10 years, but I’ve decided to switch due to the constant rudeness I received from Hope. Please give her a week off to attend customer service & some sort of patience courses. We are in a tough time as a society, no one wants to be treated with a lack of empathy & disrespect. Again, signed a loyal 10 year customer! Please bring back Sophia, she was so kind!
The Doctor and the nurses were very friendly, helpful and professional in the discharge of their duties.Myself and my wife were very satisfied with the way and manner were were attended to and the rapport was exceptionally good.
Bought new frames just over a year ago at the onset of the pandemic because it was recommended to wear your glasses and not contacts for safety. The frame broke through no fault of my own and I was offered only 25% off new frame. I had joined some membership offered offered at the time of my purchase only to be told it was only a coupon and therre was no membership and I had to return to the original location where I bought the frame. Im sorry I strayed from LensCrafters.
My experience was pleasant, I had a very nice Doctor, her name was: DR. Hira Fatima. The guy who checked me out and helped me with my purchase he was great!!! We even laughed a little.. but he was very professional, helpful and was knowledgeable about what he was doing. I would recommend his name but I dont remember it. But, they were friendly, courteous and did their job well. Everyone I encountered and everyone who I heard interact with others, were very passionate and good at what they were doing.
The Dr and staff were knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. Great selection of frames and the technician I worked with helped me find the best deal for my order. So glad I made an appointment here!
Everytime I go to this location I have a great experience. Not super pleased with the selection of eyewear this time around but I understand Covid may have impacted that since its hard for lots of businesses to get the products they need right now due to shortages.. Every employee was easy going and friendly and the doctor was awesome and pretty funny. I will continue to bring my business here.

Buyer beware. Dont go here if you intend to bring your own frames. I came in with a brand new set, they shipped them off, and then apparently had trouble with a screw that they did not convey to me. As a result, the glasses arrived late, and were badly bent out of shape. After I brought the issue to their attention they admitted they had had an issue with them but since they dont carry the frame they would not accept responsibility for destroying them. They suggested I take them to a jeweler for repair. I understand mistakes happen and things can go wrong, but they could have been upfront about the situation instead of trying to fleece me and acting like it wasnt their fault after clearly trying to obfuscate that it occurred. I wouldnt recommend doing business here.
White lady at the front desk was rude!! There’s no need to keep repeating yourself to a customer as their leaving the store. I have a flight, that’s why I couldn’t wait for stone crest location to open just for them to send my prescription!! Vision works please update your system so all locations have access. Shouldn’t have to wait til 11 for stone crest to open, but the lady at the desk was very rude about it.
The optometrist herself was great. When went to see about the actual glasses the attendant was not very attentive with helping me his personal phone was more important than I was so needless to say I took my prescription elsewhere.
If you have any issues. Make sure you talk with them, they will help you out.
My exam was June 17th I arrived early for my 2:30 appointment and no one acknowledged me or checked me in upon arrival all the associates were pretending to be occupied even though two had no customers until eventually one directed another to assist me. I had to repeat the last 4 of my social so many times which is sensitive information they need to listen better. My costs werent explained to me initially until the check out process in which the associate Leonard aka Leo charged me for a contacts exam even though I had insurance then stating only one exam is covered that they wont pay for both glasses and contacts exam in addition he also processed my contacts order right away even though I told him I wanted to try my trials first before placing an order in which he responded it takes awhile to arrive we can always swap them out later. Well the very next day I received an email stating my order was ready for my glasses when I really got contacts. I called them almost two weeks later to check my order status and the lady over the phone told me my contacts were ready the very next day that it was just in the back room and also that their auto system cant differentiate between glasses and contacts. She also stated my insurance claim was already processed and I pay the difference if I decide to switch contacts not just swap them out like Leo stated. Its such a shame that I was misinformed on several occasions and that the contacts were already in the store that he claimed to awhile to arrive. Its like he wanted to get a quick sale and got commissioned. I cant trust this provider in the future.
I arrived early for my eye exam and was forced to wait an hour amongst many, many other people also waiting. I do not understand why they booked so many appointments when they clearly are not equipped to handle it. Very, very poor management that thinks a pithy so sorry suffices the loss of my time. I will not order glasses here and will sure as hell not return, nor will I bring my glasses-wearing family here. Avoid this place if you value your time.
First time customer referred by my insuranceFrom the time I walked into the store, I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable due to being yelled at over COVID-19 procedures.Apparently there are many things in the store they dont want you to do/touch once in the store but you are not made aware until after you have done so. You are loudly reprimanded across the store (in front of other customers) by the supervisor on duty, Hope M. This all could have been alleviated by having procedures posted or by having better customer service available.I did confront the supervisor Hope M. directly to let her know that my customer service experience was poor. I made a suggestion of perhaps posting procedures of what customers are to do once in the store. As a BRAND NEW customer to Visionworks and with COVID-19 procedures in place, I had no idea what I could and could not touch, where I was allow to go or what I was allowed to do while browsing for glasses.After speaking to Hope M., there was no apology provided and only excuses of being short staffed because someone called out.I will NEVER return to Visionworks nor recommend.
I have patronized VW in the past but in light this pandemic I was very pleased to return. They were friendly & sanitarily prepared. Temp.,sanitizer met with the 1st professional & pleasant employee at the front door! Safe distancing & most important to me,, Everyone was patient & explained the new procedures in the office. I loved the help I received in choosing frames & even payment area was able to work out total costs to my pleasure! Oh, good frame choices & accessories👍🏼 Bravo everyone😍
Visionworks has a very elaborate system to submit insurance information. I submitted the information as advised by the representative who failed to confirm the coverage. In addition, this location called prior to the appointment to confirm the information that was submitted. However not until after the appointment did they advise that the coverage wasnt applicable. So now my daughter and I are left looking like fools at the front counter. The representative handling our transaction apologized and gave an extra 10% off of our frames. However if I was notified prior to the appointment I could have made the necessary adjustments to make sure that the coverage was adequate. $307 later we ordered my daughters frames. I personally will never return to this location and probably will not do business with Visionworks in the future.
Completely unreasonable customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store.
I had a great experience visiting the site at Pleasant Hill Road. I felt all the staff were very welcoming. Especially the eye doctor. I would definitely recommend this site. I only wish they had better selections of eyeglasses.
This location takes the COVID-19 pandemic very serious. They make sure that everyone is kept very safe. Everyone there are so willing to help and they make you feel like family. Very fast and friendly service.

I cancelled appointment, was so turned off by that younger attendant guy.. what an arrogant smart alec. He has zero customer service skills and has absolutely no regard for the customers. His attitude is what do you want thats the first thing. I asked how does this frame sit on my face since he was sitting in front of me.. again attitude .. he responded why dont you ask your wife.. I was obviously in the store alone.And he went on and on with being kurt and rude.. management should be ashamed for allowing this type of behavior.

The process to get in and out were great but the check out process I don’t like because it’s one guy that will get mad at you literally because you want order that day. His mouth is really smart very unpleasant and unfriendly. I will never go back there.

This was the best optometry experience Ive had in my adult life. They explained everything I need to understand my vision and how age plays a factor in our sight. Wonderful,wonderful, wonderful job with my full family. They were so helpful when we were choosing frames. They were extremely detailed and specific about the frames we needed to choose and why we needed a specific kind of frame. I cant say enough wonderful things about Vision Works Mall Corners.
I went to this Visionworks for an eye exam and new glasses. The experience was, overall, excellent. Everyone was very polite and professional. The doctor took care of me expeditiously and her care was professional and to the point. The staff was kind and patient helping me understand my options with my insurance and their frames, lenses, turnaround time, etc. Unfortunately, Visionworks doesn’t do on site glasses anymore, which was the main reason for going there in the first place.
My eye exam was 11/25/2020. I still dont have my glasses! No one followed up with me. I called today 12/11/2020 and spoke to Toni, Toni claims the frames broke and the process started over! The glasses should be there 12/19/2020. Toni said vision works wasnt notified. The service at this office sucks! I will never go there anymore. Ive had to follow up with them through the entire process! I paid for my glasses and I regret going there! SERVICE SUCKS......!
The staff is on point with our safety do to covid-19 . The doctor is very thorough in answering questions and explaining the Optometry details. This is the most Ive learned about my eyes with this particular optometrist! I was very pleased.
The Duluth Location of Visionworks was a great experience. My family and I was treated well. We were tended to in a timely fashion. And everyone we encountered was patient, helpful and nice. Dr. Escobar was informative in her exam and ensured any questions we had was answered. Would definitely recommend this location.

Front staff was very professional yet friendly. They immediately greet you when you walk in. The office is very clean, and William was a pleasure to work with when ordering my contact lenses. Taking the measures of COVID to an extreme level alongside rudeness, lack of customer care & a truly horrible experience. Be prepared & pack your mask plus all the patience you’ve got. Not recommended if you have any young children in tow.

I had visited this location before to purchase glasses for my son. The Optician was very helpful so I decided to go back for my exam. The Dr and staff were very friendly and professional. Im glad I went back. I would recommend this location!!
All the workers were really kind. I made an appointment for me and my brother and we ended up being late. And they found time to still take us. It also took me a while to choose the frames that looked good on me and they were very patient with me. So 10 out of 10 I recommend.
All I will say is make sure you acknowledge customers at the front desk and not just look at them like you don’t want to be there. Even if you cant help them smile and ask them if they need assistance so you can find the right person. I shouldn’t have to stand at the front desk for 10 to 15 mins without one person asking me if I need help.

My time at VisionWorks was great! The exam was quick and the doctor addressed all my concerns. The sales associates helped me pick frames that were affordable and stylish. The overall process was smooth and I even got my glasses the same day! I would highly recommend coming here.
Was there last night to get my glasses for my children. They have great frame choices and my children got their glasses from this location last year and we had a great experience. Thats why they get 2 stars.We had no appointment but only needed new glasses, so I understood that I had to wait until the people who were being helped were completed. The first woman at the front desk was pleasant and set us up to choose our glasses while we waited. She left, then the other representative told us that we would be next when she could get a seat. The person who was helping with glasses finished her customer, walked past us to help people who had just walked in, then took them to the table to get glasses.I asked the front desk person what was going on, then she said, oh shes the only one here, I said, I understand, but she is helping people who came in after us. So, I waited, because my little ones were excited. After the tech was done, she told her that we were next. She still decided to help someone else. I would not have minded coming back the next day, or even an explanation as to why other people were being helped while my children and I watched them come in. Maybe the staff was overwhelmed. In either case, it was disappointing.
Great experience. I made an appt for a Saturday for my son. It wasnt too crowded, and we were only there about an hour or so. The customer service was good, everyone was friendly and helpful. Couldnt be happier.
I called this place before going for quotes on the cost for their exams for contacts and glasses. I wanted to see if the prices would change once I got there. I arrived this morning as a walk-in in hopes of getting my eyes examined for contacts and glasses. Let me tell you I am so happy that I did! I filled out the paperwork and waited less that 15 minutes before I was called back for an eye exam. I saw Optometrist Adriana Escobar today and she was fantastic! She was very customer friendly and knowledgeable about eye health. She actually let me know that my older glasses were too strong for my eyes which was causing the frequent headaches I was having. I was very thankful that she informed me of this.Next, I sat down with William B. at his desk to get my glasses and contacts ordered. He explained everything that he was doing and also let me know the total charges for everything. There was no hidden charges or surprises at the end which was great. They do not take my vision insurance which is Eye Med but he still gave me a discount off my glasses! I had my own frames and he had no problem at all with me using them and didnt try to sell me any of their frames. Plus they had a special going of 60% off their frames but since I had my own he still gave me 25% off. Lastly, they had my contacts in stock so I walked out with a 6 month supply.The staff is very friendly and I am so happy with my visit there today. I would definitely recommend them because their customer service is A1!!!

The staff is friendly. Christian at the front desk is very polite and professional. The Dr. is also quite polite and professional. He explains things in terms anyone could understand, and does not force people to get more than they need. I elected for dialation of my pupils, and I didnt need it, so he let me know and took off the extra charge. Additionally, the optical tech lady was awesome and friendly. I will definitely now be loyal to this office!
I use to work for Vision works & any time a customer came in with an issue about their contacts, perhaps lost them & just needed a trial pair : All that we asked for is a valid prescription & we would gladly help. The gentleman on the phone was super rude & said I would have to purchase contacts if I needed them. I simply lost 1 contact & needed the one that fell out replaced . You guys need better customer service .

I had my first appointment scheduled for 12 pm while I waited to be seen I chose the glasses I wanted, to be ready and make the process faster. after I saw the doctor the Tech was very unprofessional, my whole time with her was one hour and a half. She did not know what she was doing. i was paying for contact and glasses exam and I was not even provided a trial, I had to wait for them to arrive but she still charged me for the contacts. The following week I went also spent more than an hour there to try on the trial and it was damaged they only gave me another contact it also damaged and they did not want to give me another one. once i saw the doctor she explained to me all the types of contacts and asked me to choose, so frustrating because I had already purchased and no one explained to me what I had already bought. Contacts where exchanged to the brand that best comforted me, but of course they had to be ordered because they did not have them in stock. It has been two weeks and i have not received a call back from them stating that my contacts are ready to be picked up. So I called in today and their response was they called you once and you did not answer and they would call back when they get to it! So unprofessional. will not recommend it to anyone. It has also been the most expensive I have paid for in the 10 years I have been having exams!

I was not impressed my first visit on 02/12/2017 and today 02/19/2017 confirmed why you are not the company for me. On my first visit, I noticed that only the African American lady greeted me. I brushed it off thinking its early in the morning and these people are not morning people. But, later own I had to sit and order my contacts with the same white lady that passed me several times and never acknowledged I was in the building. She asked me to follow her and then went straight into telling me how they require contact user to purchase a pair of glasses, (BULL). I ignored her comments since she didn’t have the decency to say hello. I paid for my contacts, rec’d my follow-up date and left. Today, I went in to pick up my trial pair of contacts and test again because I have a stigmatism and they don’t carry my strength. I get there and ask the young guy “ Why are you testing me again in the trial pair that is not my strength and not the one’s ordered” he replied “ I don’t know ask the doctor”, WOW. So, I find out from the Doctor that my trial pair never came in. So, I ask a simple question,” Why didn’t you call to say let’s re-schedule once your correct trial pair is in? “ . I’m told your strength is only off a little from what you have no big deal! Umm, a little off can be a lot since you don’t know my profession, and if it’s off to much, I then will have more visits and more wasted time. I will be purchasing a pair of glasses, just not with you. I will NOT spend my money where I am not welcome.

I had a very pleasant experience with both my annual exam and my daughters. Everyone on the staff was professional and helpful.I got contact lenses for the very first time and I wasnt good at it at, so Im sure I wasnt the easiest to deal with, but they were very patient with me.
I had a great experience when I had my eyes examined. The people were very friendly and helpful. I had a lot of help picking out my glasses.
This all started back in April when I went in on a Saturday to get some glasses. I finally had vision insurance to cover the outrageous cost of my glasses. However, they said they couldnt call my insurance on the weekend. I would have to come in on a weekday. Seeing as how I work throughout the week, I didnt have time until very recently in July. Instead of going to this location, I went to the location in Tucker. However, Tucker still had to call this location to get them to fax over my prescription. I had my last exam in October of 2014 which means that I was up to date. The first time they called, they had no record of me at all. The second time I called they only had that I had an exam in 2013. Then they finally confirmed that I had the exam in 2014. However, they didnt have the actual prescription on file. This made no sense. They had in the system that I paid for an exam. They just didnt have the prescription. They claimed that their system must have been down that day. Lets just call it what it is - someone wasnt doing their job that day. I wasted 3 hours in the Tucker Location only to have to leave without getting new glasses, because this branch seriously cant handle their stuff. I am honestly through with Vision Works.

I am very unhappy with the service I received by the front office staff!. My trail pair of contacts were damaged- the first day I got them and Mike stated they did not have anymore in stock of that brand or prescription. That mine should arrive the next week. Really! The point of a trail pair is to make sure you are comfortable with the brand and prescription given by the Doctor. Yes,it was my misfortune that my grand-daughter open and lost my contacts. Then I had to call back with an attitude for him to call around to another location to get me another trail pair. I WILL NOT COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!

OMG never has getting glassses been so fast and easy. I literally book apt online 15mins later there. The whole process with getting same day glasses 1HoUR! I didnt even know I could get my pair same day was best surprise! Doc was efficient and staff as well as general manger was all incredible nice and not once pushy with sales!!! Ill go no where else from now on!!! Oh prices are super affordable. 40% of wasnt beatable
Unpleasant experience waited 15 mind to be told the doctor is leaving soon when I could have been told that walking in the door. I felt like the girl at the front desk didnt want me asking her anything. As others were given priority who werent needing her attention.

Been here a few times and always had a great time dealing with them. Just started my girlfriend with them as well and she loved it. I have always gone to the location in Duluth that is near me and the staff has always been quite friendly and nice to deal with. No hiccups or being overlooked, they have always answered my. Questions with ease and if they didnt know they found someone that did. I have never really had and issue with getting an appt and have actually come early in the morning rifht after opening and been seen with out an appt rather quickly.
I will not come to this location anymore. I was told by William and Hope that my insurance Was not active and they keep calling me about the situation. I called the insurer myself and was told that my insurance is active. After two days of frustration, I cancel my appointment for glasses and contacts and found another Visionworks in Snellville to go to.

Went to Vision Works because they were cheaper than my other eye doctor for the annual appointment. My what a mistake, the initial visit was fine but all the follow-up visits and experiences have been HORRIBLE:1. The doctor changed my rx so I had a sample pair of contact, now my old doctor would provide me 1 to 2 weeks worth of samples for contacts when he changed my rx...this place only 1 pair......not a big deal but definitely a red flag I should have paid attention to.2. The doctor advised to just call and let them know if I approved of the new contacts and they would release my rx.....when I called back a week later I was advised I had to come in, I thought ok...obviously the doctor recorded our conversation incorrectly and I can comply...not a big deal. I went in, this was now 2 weeks later and was told I needed to wear the contacts they gave me to have them release the rx...well since the company only provided me 1 pair of DAILY wear contact I couldnt exactly wear them for 2 weeks so I no longer had the contacts.3. The customer service person then provided me a new pair of sample contacts but the incorrect rx. They explained the doctor gave you this rx as my sample pair....which I disagreed because I recall the rx we discussed and the sample pair he gave me.....red flag number 3. I now was told I needed to come back when that doctor was back in the office to get this sorted out....blood is boiling here.4. I call the next day to discuss and they confirm the doctor had put the incorrect information in the computer and they would then release my rx....HOORAY...right?!?!?!5. I order my contacts with my new rx online through a famous online contact retailer because they have a better price and honestly I was not going to give Vision Works another dime if I could help it. I indicate to have the retailer contact VW for my rx and thought I was done. Well I find out several days later that VW told the retailer my rx was old and to cancel my order. Now by this time I have a paper copy of my rx for glasses and contacts and could easily see where my rx is still valid for 12 months. I faxed it to my online retailer and they took care of me.BOTTOM LINE: Vision Works is a sloppy organization and I dont believe they care about getting your rx right or taking care of the customer....they only want you if you will make contacts/glasses purchases through them.....I am sticking with Costco going forward......Vision Works is like the the slippery sam used car dealership of optometry.
