When Dr. Taylor was there, this was an amazing place. After he retired and sold the practice to MyEyeDr, the customer experience fell apart. The last time we were in (which was, in fact, our LAST TIME), the doctor was cold and transactional. He treated us like inconveniences in his very busy day. The team in the frames/fitting area were wonderful, as they have been for years (theyre why I gave 2 stars), but the doctor was beyond awful. After 15 years of sending people here for eye care, I cannot recommend this office any more.

I am so amazed at how friendly the staff was with greeting me and helping me pick out glasses. Even the manager was keeping me entertained waiting for my order to process. This place makes going to the EYE DR FUN! I will never go anywhere else in Fort Wayne!

I was a new patient and was able to schedule my appointment online - was even able to reschedule through their website. Staff was friendly, professional, and honest. Dr. Steven Ison is my optometrist moving forward.

Staff were helpful and nice. The Dr. was quick but I didn’t feel rushed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I arrived for an appointment for myself and my 2 children. I properly wore a mask even though I have multiple medical reasons why I should not. My children are under the age of the mask mandate and on top of that also have valid medical reasons why they should not wear masks. We were refused service and told to reschedule for after the mandate is over. Since the mandate continues to be extended, when do you foresee allowing people with medical conditions to be seen unmasked?! This company has lost my business FOREVER.

I was told to put my mask above my nose or reschedule my appointment. Another patient had his mask dangling from one ear- nothing was said to him. I should have been told that masks were mandatory when I made my appointment. I decided to leave- I will not go to a doctor whose mandates very per patient and moody tech.

Horrible staff. Horrible company.

Jackie in the Fort Wayne office is helping me get the problem rectified.Purchased a pair of glasses from MYEYEDR on Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, In. Could not see with glasses, $500 pair of glasses, that no one at MYEYEDR cared if I could use or not. AT THIS POINT VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Went back to these folks as my previous optometrist had been here but retired. I loved him! This new guy however, was unprofessional saying very negative things about the previous optometrist. He told me that he didnt believe in the way I had been having my eyes corrected and if I didnt want to go along with his treatment recommendations that he would stop the exam right then. I was shocked but went on with the exam and low and behold there really was a problem with my eyes and it wasnt just because I was over 60. I was referred on a specialist with a very serious retina issue.I wont be back. Ill find somebody that is professional and doesnt act like his clients are not smart enough to know what is going on. I would give him a negative number if I could.His staff was very nice. Obviously not from a trickle down from him.

We absolutely love Dr. Taylor!! He is one of the the original professionals​ at this location. Our family has been seeing Dr Taylor for a long time, and our opinion of him is why my parents started seeing him.It was about 20 yrs ago that Dr Taylor, during a regular exam, found a tear in my husbands retina. When hubby got the tear repaired, the laser surgeon was amazed that Dr Taylor found the tear during a regular exam.So that is why we love Dr Taylor. He is also ALWAYS very professional!!

All I can say is mehh at this point. At my apt earlier this year, the doctor didnt seem like a real people person. (I know who he is, but dont want to say publicly) No eye contact and acted quite shy and acted like I was just an apt and not a person. The billing dept had billed a service wrong so they had to write of my almost $90 bill. Then when ordering contacts they had them shipped to my address without me paying for them beforehand. If I wasnt such a nice person to tell them about this, they wouldve been out of over $300. I dont really think Ill be back .
