We bought a limited ioniq from San tan today and we were very pleased. The salesmen were very knowledgeable, the finance guy was not pushy, and they had us out the door quickly. And…the car is very cool! And even with the market such as it is right now, they still dealt with us a little on the price. Good experience.

Avoid Santan Hyundai (Gilbert Arizona)Called to make appointment and earliest appointment was 45 days. Took vehicle to dealership on a Wednesday they did not even assign it to a technician until the following TUESDAY (7 days) Car sat for 9 days before it was even looked at to start the repair process. Total time for SIMPLE brake and CVC maintenance was 10 days. Had to rent a car for 10 days until car was finished.TOTAL DISREGARD OF RESERVATION TIME.Avoid Gilbert Arizona Hyundai.

Its 110 degrees in the Phoenix valley and my A/C isnt blowing cool enough to keep me from sweating. Explained it to my Service guy and they had it fixed on warranty, got an oil and filter change, in-cabin air filter and fresh wipers for $152. The new A/C compressor would have been over $300 alone. What could be better?

I bought a brand new Hyundai from Autonation. It was not the best experience back in December and with the exception of 1 experience with the service department, every other interaction has been less then desirable. I called 7 times the other day to ask a few questions about my warranty. 7 times, I couldnt get a live person. 3 times I was transferred back to the automated line 3 times the system hungup on me and the last time, the person from finance was so rude. would not take me off of speaker phone, while complaining of not being able to hear me. When I was able to get my question out, he rudly told me I needed the service department, which was incorrect. But actually put me back to the automated service.I hung up and called Santan. I was connected to the automated system again, but this time I was able to leave a message for the correct department. I recieved a call back 8n less than 1 hour. A call that I missed but as soon as I called back by Taylor. He was so kind and helpful! Extremely accommodating, so.much so I needed to write this review. I thanked him for being so helpful akind. i wish I had gone here instead. I will never go back to autonation. Santan will be my new home.

One of the worst customer service dealerships Ive ever been in contact with. The customer service representative was rude. And then notified me that it would be almost a month to get my vehicle in for just an oil change.. Everybody brags how well Hyundais customer service is but apparently not at this dealership. Never will I buy a vehicle from them or buy a Hyundai again.. Im going to give two extra Stars because the general manager was upfront and honest saying that there are employee issues and I know thats happening all over Arizona.

I spent several weeks bouncing around dealership to dealership. My wife and I stopped by around 8:45pm to look at a car and ran into Jesse. He was amazing from the start. We were exhausted from looking at cars at all day so we decided to come back the next day for test drives. Jesse was amazing during the entire process. Never once did he try and push us. We actually took another day to really decide if it was what we wanted. We pulled the the trigger the next day and Jesse spent over an hour with us in the car showing us every detail and feature until we felt comfortable. We look forward to having our maintenance completed here and when its time for a new car we will definitely be coming back to San Tan Hyundai!!!

Worst experience Ive ever had with a dealership. The appointment was a 3 month wait. Dropped off my car to get my car handle replaced. After 3 days I called and couldnt get through to services on the phone, so I had a friend drive me there. The guy told me he thought I said to not get it done until Friday (7 days) WHAT? I told him no, youre misinformed.Then and there he says he made a mistake on another person and he laughed it off. He told me he would get the tech to work on it immediately. Three days later I try to call again and couldnt get in touch with services. I left a voicemail, no reply.The next day I decide to go in person again because thats the only way I was able to get in contact with them. 9 days total, nothing was done on my car. I ended up just taking my car back. What a total waste of time.

While this year has been an odd year to order a new car/suv - we waited 5 months for our order to come in....it ended up being a different VIN so there were some missing add on items - which made an impact on the overall cost. While these items were not in stock, San Tan is making us whole by adding them to our SUV as we originally were expecting. While this is our first time purchasing from San Tan Hyundai, it is not the first time we have purchased from Earnhardt. We will continue to buy our automobiles from them.

Don’t get me wrong, the people were very nice, just overall was not a great experience. I bought a brand new 2022 Kona, and it already had a defect we discovered before driving it off of the lot. When taking it up with customer service, I could not get an appointment until almost 2 and a half months from scheduling the appointment. I just barely took it in, after waiting for two months, to find out that it could take up to a week to fix, and Hyundai was unable to provide me a rental car. It’s been very inconvenient for me to get around to where I need to, especially with school and work every single day. Gratefully I had another car that was loaned to me, but if I hadn’t, I don’t know what I would’ve done. Anyways, the people are nice, they just are understaffed and have poor customer service.

Im not one to normally write a bad review but if you need your car repaired find another dealership. Made an appointment over 9 weeks ago and yesterday was the 1st available. I had to call mutliple different times just to get someone on the phone to schedule, left multi messages and finally got an appointment after trying for over a 2 week period. After having an appointment I called and left 6 messages for the advisor with the warranty claim information to hopefully speed up the process once my appointment day arrived. Never received a call back. Went to my appointment yesterday and they couldnt even perform the warranty work and referred me out. This was after confirming back in June that they could do the warranty work. Today I recieved a text message that I missed my appointment. I called and was told that the service advisor just didnt close out my appointment. My guess is so that I wouldnt be sent a review request. Sorry Brandon, nothing against you personally but this dealership needs a lot of restructuring. While there I was told that the used car lot had over 120 customers cars waiting to be repaired because they are so short staffed but other dealerships have plenty of available mechanics to do the work. Go elsewhere if you want to be treated with any customer service and in a timely matter. Save yourself the headache and waste of time. Unless you are a mechanic and looking for a job, this isnt the place to go.

My experience with Shawn Emch and the team took around 90 minutes total, no bs just focus on great customer service. My time is valuable and Shawn understood this. First I want to say buying a new car from here was a pretty decent experience, however I would like to warn people about buying the extended warranty. DONT DO IT!! my car was only 3 years old and had only 26k miles. I bought the extra warranty for my car. I was not expecting to trade my car in but a great opportunity came to me so I traded in my car which was paid off. I sent the warranty paperwork to Gilbert Hyundai for cancellation and being it was never used as my car was still under the factory warranty I was expecting a full refund minus the $50.00 deductible. I was shocked they kept over $900.00 . This was a total ripoff! What happens if someone is in an accident and car is totaled and they have that extra warranty too? They lose all that money also, This is just another way for big business to rip off the public. Most of us buy cars intending to keep them, but sometimes circumstances change.

Service department customer service is atrocious. When you want to make an appointment, expect to wait a month and a half. They do have an emergency drop-off they will tell you about if they ever answered the phones.This is the dealership I purchased my car from so naturally one would go back for any issues. I was able to bypass the month+ wait back in December when I had an issue with my car. Brought it in, they found no issue even though I continued to have a loss of power and gas smells.I took my car (2017 Elantra) to a different dealership in the valley who properly diagnosed AND repaired the issue.My emissions control light came on today. Since this dealership is the closest to my place I tried calling. Rang and rang and rang. After two different times, I finally called and pressed the option for sales so I could at least speak to someone. Suffice it to say, I called another dealership to set up an appointment there instead. Better customer service and they will more than likely be able to find and repair the issue unlike San Tan Hyundai.

Very poor shopping experience at San Tan Hyundai. We fell in love with a 21 palisade. We asked to test drive it. It took over 30 min for someone to take us. The sales person acted like we were wasting his time. My wife and I liked the car so we started the purchasing process The sales person goes get the price as we were looking over it they were charging Dealer Add on’s. Window Tint, Auto butler, alarm system, nitrogen air filled tires. Over $2k. I asked to take those off the sales person said NO. I said these aren’t on the car yet. He walked out to the car (at night) and said yes they are. You can TAKE IT or LEAVE IT. So we felt pressured to purchase. My wife and I trusted the sales person and purchased the car. The next morning we were looking over the car and as I started none of these items were on the car except the stupid alarm. We called the dealership and asked for a manager after going back and forth for an hour they agreed to take the tint off and said they would do the other items when we did our first service. Unfortunately we love the Palisade or I would have returned it!! We have purchased several car and trucks over the years for the Earnhart Dealership and have always felt good after our purchase. Our experience at San Tan Hyundai has ruined this for us. Buyer be wear shopping at San Tan Hyundai is TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT shopping experience they clearly sell enough car to not need customers service and charge you for items not on the vehicle.

There wasnt a single time where Dean nor Thomas tried to oversell something to me. They were focused on understanding what I needed and they gave me options based on that.The price i paid for my palisade was fair (online research) and the trade-in value for my previous car was also fair. There werent hidden fees nor forced extended warranties costs.Dean and Thomas knew every single aspect of the Palisade and the differences between each trim. I will be going there for my services and will go back when I need to acquire another car.

I wanted to buy a vehicle for my wifes 50th birthday. When we arrived, the dealer was low on the model we wanted. We decided to put an order in for the exact one we wanted, with every option we wanted. Instead, the great guys at San Tan Hyundai found one in another state matching all the specs we wanted. The Man, The Myth, The Legend. Ken has been my familys car salesman for the past couple of years and has always delivered a 1st class experience. Probably the worst customer service in the Vehicle Service department I have received. Avoid Mario if at all possible. Will never go there again for service. Went in multiple times to get a shaky side mirror fixed, they said there was no shaking and wouldnt do anything to fix it. Went to Chapman Hyundai and they immediately identified the shaking and ordered me a new side mirror to replace the bad one. Chapman Hyundai went above and beyond anything San Tan Hyundai has ever done!

As for my Sonata, I am having the oil changed, and a inspection to see if I need to have any mechanical work done. This is the 3rd vehicle I’ve bought from this dealership. The sales team and service team take good care of their customers, that is why we keep coming back! When the dealership didn’t have the exact model we were looking for they were able to locate one and have it transported to the dealership. This was such a convenience as we didn’t have to drive all over the place looking for the right vehicle. San Tan Hyundai service department is slower than molasses. Takes 3 months or longer to get an appointment with them. Their responses are condescending and rude. WHY cant they keep enough staff to do their job. After purchasing 4 vehicles in 3 years I will no longer be purchasing any more vehicles there. Swanty Hyundai in Kingman, AZ will now have all my service.

The best part of this entire deal was our salesperson ( Andre Wilson), this guy was nice and he was trying very hard to make sure all my concerns were addressed. I know he works for the dealer but he was trying and listening and looking for way to make the deal work. Scheduled an Oil Change and Auto Butler. Upon check-in I told the service advisor that I needed the driver side window switch replaced under warranty because it cracked. The service advisor explained that a certified tech needed to inspect the switch and order the replacement for warranty, they could not do that on the lube side of the shop. I explained that it would be extremely inconvenient for me to schedule another appointment, drive 30 miles to the dealer just for the tech to spend a few moments looking at the switch so it could be ordered. The service advisor said he would check if a tech was available to quickly review. When I got the call to pick up the car, I was told a tech inspected the switch and ordered the replacement. I am appreciative of the extra effort to accomplish as much as possible during my one visit.

Incredibly friendly and welcoming team. Although I have only visited the parts department, I have been completely impressed by every employee encountered. Parts team members (Alfred, in particular) are always friendly and helpful on the phone, even calling me when a part Ive ordered arrives. They genuinely seem to like helping their customers. Whether showing me to the parts department, helping me find a place to park, or picking up and paying for parts, every single employee has been extremely friendly and professional. Next time Im in the market for a new car, Ill definitely do some shopping here. Well done, San Tan Hyundai!
