Dont do it,Walter came to my location to work on wheel hub assembly,he took things apart an could not fix the problem,,could not remove a bolt,,an he said I give up,,an said we can split the cost of job,,,lol,,really,,asked for 150.00,, for time trying to fix the issue,.NEVER AGAIN..GET OVER ON SOMEONE ELSE..BYE FELICIA!!!!DONT DO IT!!Unless Its oil change,, DRINKING BEER ON JOB,,TRUE SHADE TREE MECHANIC,,BEWARE

Walter is awesome/ amazing. I can always count on him to be there when I need him for my vehicle repairs, and advice ( at no extra cost!) He is knowledgeable and very professional. He is honest and straight to the point on what needs to be done. If he could do my vehicle inspections and oil changes, no one else would touch my vehicles.

Mr Walter put my serpentine belt on and was too replace power steering pump. I left with my car smoking from the tail pipe. It took me 5 hours to get from his shop to the sw side of town and Walter blocked my calls because he didnt want to be accountable for his wrong doing and refused to return my money. I would not recommend this mechanic yo anyone. Very dishonest

10/10 Walter did a great job on replacing the water pump, timing belt, etc. on my 2008 Tundra. Very professional and to the point. I will definitely be giving him a call next time anything else comes up on my vehicle.

Mr. Walter replaced a part on my car that was not the problem. He misdiagnosed it and I had to pay for a part that I did not need. I received the labor fee back but had to pay for the part, towing, and the fee for him coming to my house after he told me he would not charge me for it. My car was towed to his home/2 car garage on 5701 Howell St. He worked on my car then admitted he dont do this kind of work. Hundreds of dollars later and my car sounds worse than when I towed it in. I will not be using him again. He may know how to change oil and tires, but I would not recommend him for other types of work. I also overheard him speaking on the phone saying someone passed by and he just do cars on Howell St. as a hobby. Sounds like something may be going on with him servicing cars for pay at 5701 Howell St. and someone may have reported him. Please be cautious and learn from my mistake.

The mechanic graciously gave us advise over the phone about what it might be and he confirmed what we were thinking. Will definitely call him for jobs and we recommend him already. When someone is that honest and gracious they deserve a good review and people going their way. God bless!

Mr. Walter is an A+ mechanic. He was able to diagnose and repair my truck when other mechanics couldnt figure it out. He completed the work a lot faster than I expected, and did it at a fair price. Ill definitely recommend him to family and friends.

Hes quick and was here in a days notice. He is a thorough mechanic..and a realist, he will not talk scenarios or could be this or that. Hes to the point and gets after it. I will be using him again and referring him to all my friends. Knows his stuff!!!c6 Z06 Corvette!!!

I first found Walter about 4 years ago and he has serviced my 2003 minivan now perhaps at least 5 times. He has consistently been able to diagnose (sometimes even over the phone) and repair at a more than fair rate.If my old vehicle ever starts costing too much to repair Ill get another but with Walter around, I dont see that happening anytime soon.

On the same day I contacted In the Hands, the mechanic was at my home within just a couple of hours with the anticipated parts in hand. The service was fast and professional. Most of all I was impressed with the fair pricing. I definitely recommend this company and would use their services again.
