We had an emergency that our starter went out with zero warning the day before we needed to leave for our son’s out-of-town wedding. We had the car towed to Imports Plus by lunchtime and explained the emergency we were in. They said they couldn’t make any promises but would do their best. Imports Plus agreed to review my vehicle when an emergency code came up. They helped to diagnose the problem with the engine, but recommended getting service from the dealership since the repair was covered under warranty. I brought my VW Beetle in because my brakes had started to squeal when I first started out every day so I thought it must be time for brakes, but after they went over my car, David called to tell me exactly the mm of pads I had left on front and back, but they could try a different pad to see if it didn’t squeal but I really didn’t need to replace them. So, of course, I said I could live with a squeal since it’s just the first few times I use the brakes. But I did ask how will I know when it is time and he said it makes more of a grinding noise, but they check over everything when I bring my VW in for an oil change and they’ll let me know. They didn’t charge me anything for their time in checking out my car. I can’t recommend them enough. They are thorough and completely upfront and honest!

I LOVE the Imports Plus family! They have serviced our cars for over 15 years from when we first moved to SC. They are always honest with you about what you need/dont need and helpful with scheduling. They even loaned me a car to get to work. We continue to go to them with all our cars even though we recently moved downtown. If you want someone with you for the life of your car, dont go anywhere else.

I was on a long distance trip, stopped in Columbia for a bite to eat, and realized a wheel bearing was bad on my Infiniti SUV. I got a hotel, called these guys first thing in the a.m., they got me in and fixed everything by 3:00 p.m. that day: new wheel bearing, brakes, and rotors. They even gave me a ride back to my hotel, which was 10 minutes away. They did great work at a reasonable price and were very accommodating to my situation given I was essentially stranded in Columbia until I got my car fixed. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

The staff was great!! Price for service that was done was fair. I thought the quote for brakes was a little high. My front seems a little squirrely but I am not sure if thats because I have been driving on bad struts for so long. I notice the boots were not zip tied but unsure if that is required but my thought is they should be to prevent water get under the boots. Overall not a bad experience.

Went to the Mini Mania website and, under helpful resources, found a Mini mechanic in my area. While Imports Plus is approximately an hours drive south of me, I am willing to drive that hour to have my car serviced. I had to leave my car overnight, and they provided me with a loaner car, all I had to do was replace the gas I used. The cost of the repairs was very fair. The best, most fair and most honest auto repair shop I have ever used. If you live anywhere near Irmo, SC, I highly recommend Imports Plus.

Best mechanic Ive ever taken my car to. I have a Subaru and it has had wheel bearing issues in the past and a part I had replaced by another mechanic failed after a year of wear. They replaced the part at half the cost of the other mechanic AND guaranteed the work.We bring both our vehicles here. Our other vehicle has been on deaths door for quite some time but they manage to keep it functioning and finding fixes to work within our budget. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to let you know everything theyve done with a breakdown of costs so there are no surprises later on. If anything, its less than expected. They do stand behind their work and dont suggest money-making add-ons that arent necessary. Weve even gotten refunds from them for fixes that didnt solve the problem. They put the time and effort into problem solving it, only to refund us because it didnt put an end to the issues.Its near impossible to find an honest mechanic and some may say its an oxymoron but thats just because they havent had their car serviced by Imports Plus!Their service, integrity, and quality cannot be matched by anywhere else Ive been.

Just got my 2000 Honda Accord back yesterday. Had a lot of things going on with it. The goal was to get it back on the road but they exceeded that! It runs and drives better than when I purchased it 4 years ago. They really know what they are doing and are very thorough. They even have loaner cars if you need transportation while your car is off the road...saves you a trip to a rental car store. Service was superb!

It was about 2pm and my axle broke on my car ..l was traveling from ft Lauderdale FL to Charleston WV ..after waiting on the side of the interstate for 3 hours i got a tow from a very nice gentleman name Bobby who told me if anyone could fix my car it was import plus i was there for 5 days over the holidays stranded they fixed my axle ..and i also had a censor problem which they did a wonderful job everyone was very nice great people .So if you breakdown in irmo .Or cchapin SC remember imports plus they are the best they got me home. As my Hyundai was slowly I dying, I took it to Imports Plus several times. They were always very prompt about repairs and really good about having it done when they said it would be done. Its probably not the cheapest place in the area, but Ive always found the service to be great and Ive never noticed any issues that might have come from the repair.

I have taken my cars to imports plus for over 20 years. Recently, my daughter had engine problems on our suv with 235K miles. It was towed in on the Monday after Easter. It was a fixable issue and ready that afternoon. Couldnt ask for a better and more knowledgeable group of folks!

As my family and I were coming back from Garden City and heading to Tennessee (Home), we broke down on interstate 76 near exit 97. I got us towed to Import Plus and they were packed. Ive been taking my Hondas and Toyotas to Imports Plus for over 15 years. I can always count on my car being fixed right the first time and more importantly, they will not find problems that do not exist. They have even gone out of their way to recommend possible solutions that can be done outside of the shop, thereby forgoing a potential transaction. If youre looking for a shop where you can get your foreign car repaired at the lowest price, you probably need to go somewhere else. However, if you want a mechanic that you can trust to diagnose and repair your vehicle to high standards and not run up a repair bill chasing ghosts or discovering non-existent problems, then Imports Plus should be your repair shop of choice.

We have used Imports Plus for years to service our vehicles. They have always been extremely honest and upfront about the repairs needed and the prices involved. I even took my BMW in one time saying that I heard a funny noise. They looked at it and didnt find anything wrong and did not charge me one dime.

My BMW left there with over inflated and under inflated tires, had a new rim installed and they replaced the wrong side. Going to Browns.

I took my vehicle in for a suspected exhaust manifold leak. Got a call later in the day with confirmation of the problem and the price. Not long after I got another call telling me even though my vehicle warranty had expired the manufacturer had extended the warranty for this specific problem. Got confirmation from the dealership it would be covered and let Imports Plus know.Most other shops would have taken my money and never said a word. I was towing equipment on I26 when a part broke on my trailer. I was 150 miles from anyone that I knew and just happened to get off at the exit close to Imports Plus. I was not driving an import, and had never met anyone at Imports Plus. They took me in, fixed my trailer and charged me a very fair price. If I lived in the area, I would not go anywhere else!
