Was recommended to this shop. I had a appointment for 9 in the morning but at 4 they still hadnt checked my car. Had to rush and pick up my car at 6 and had to miss a very important meeting. They also quoted me $80 for a check up but when I went to pick up my car it was $120. Not to mention repair fees of almost $950 . The prices they charge for the pieces were 400 and 100 when its only 80 and 25 for the pieces I need

They charged me for a full 4 wheel alignment to adjust ONLY the frontend on a truck. Besides that the while looking through the service window my tech was eating his breakfast and checking his phone and piddling with other cars before adjusting literally 2 bolts on my car and saying thatll be $130!!!!. Literally sat and watched this all happen I kid you not. Theres tons of other mechanics in town so stay away from this one.

I absolutely love using JCA. They are honest and straight forward with my car repair work. They also communicate well with me throughout the repair process. They understand that I want to keep my car running as long as reasonably possible. I have never felt pushed into doing unnecessary car repairs and I would strongly recommend them to anyone I know. They are the only mechanic I trust locally.

These guys are Awesome ! I had a long drive to take for work the air wasnt right in my tire I was nervous to get on the road so I stopped in asked him to take a look. They took my tire off to make sure nothing was in my tire and I would be safe on the road. Fixed the air and didnt charge me anything. I truly appreciate you keeping me safe. I had previously always chosen to take my vehicles to the manufacturer to get services completed until recently. I had a bad experience at one of the BIG NAME DEALERS and had to find an alternative route. I now have found a local shop with competitive value and quality service. JCA Auto has now been working on both our vehicles for the past two years without a hitch! If you want great service and are tired of the extra hassle of dealing with a BIG DEALERs Servicing departments who never answer the phone or provide you satisfactory service, I would recommend this local shop here in IRMO, SC anytime!

Shout out to JCA Auto Services! I pulled up at 5:59pm to get a tire plugged from my other car. The young man working took the tire and repaired it for free even though he was closing at 6pm. Thank you for providing phenomenal customer service!As a side note, I stopped at the new Express Oil Change and Tire Center across from Wal-Mart at 5:56pm and was told that they close at 6pm and I could come back in the morning.

This is my first time using JCA Auto and so far they have been great!On Friday they confirmed that my radiator needs to be replaced.I believe they have quoted me a fair price and hopefully this week they will be able to perform the repairs.I do wish that I knew why my radiator would have gone bad after only 2 years!It was just replaced in April 2017!The staff here has been very helpful and attentive!

Do yourself a favor and avoid this auto repair. Second time getting burned. Anyone can hook up your car and tell you what the computer recommends and do that work (even if that is not the problem!). A real mechanic uses their sense of observation and deduction to diagnose the problem. And forget about listening to the customer. After making mistakes, try to do things right, but “fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me”....so shame on me.

JCA has worked on almost all of our vehicles for personal and our business. I’ve never had a company work on our vehicles that truly cares as much as JCA does. Alex is one of the best guys you could ever trust with your vehicles. We are extremely picky with who we trust working on our cars and trucks but we trust Alex more than any other mechanic shop we’ve been to.

We had a blown engine on a 2007 Toyota Rav 4. Staff and owner are friendly and attentive. They were able to get a used engine installed and get us back on the road in a short time frame. Impressed with the job they did at a fair price. Thanks guys.

I took my 2012 Audi Q5 here after feeling like the dealership was charging too much. JCA completed my 100K mile checkup at a great deal! I took my car in that morning, they sent a proposal over within a few hours and had the work complete by the end of the business day. Very professional and would highly recommend!

This is a small, privately owed business. They do great mechanic work and also have some cars that they have for sale. The shop is very clean, and so is the office/waiting area. There is also a drop box for people that need to drop their vehicles off before or after regular hours. They are really customer oriented so they make you feel like part of the family. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for work needing to be done.

I stopped by for an oil change and a frontend alignment. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They took the time to talk to me and to make sure that my car concerns were heard. I needed a couple of bolts cut and Alex cut them immediately at no charge.

My vehicle was damaged while being worked on at this shop and at first they tried to deny having anything to do with it. On top of that, while the prices are pretty fair my truck was there to have an engine installed and upon picking it up it leaked oil from the filter, around the intake manifold bolts and valve cover gaskets. It was returned twice for this and never corrected. Shift linkage also found to be .missing parts as I inspected the truck when home. Shifted smooth before their shop worked on it.

I brought my car here for the first time a couple of months ago. That were professional, honest and straightforward. I appreciated the thoughtful customer service. I will definitely be using them exclusively in the future.

I went in for an oil change and to have a vibration checked out on my Subaru wagon. Turns out I needed two tires, an alignment, and to have my tie rod end replaced. The owner, Alex, and the mechanic walked me through the needed repairs (and it did need to be replaced) and then got my car quickly back on the road. I trust JCA with our two cars, and would recommend them if you need some work done.

I have 3 different types of cars, my classic 1975 Toyota Land cruiser, my wifes 2007 Honda Pilot and my 2010 Dodge Challenger Muscle car. Im very picky on who I let touch my cars and I have been amazed at the folks at JCA! It is hard to find a mechanic you can trust to fix the problem you have and not find other things wrong that dont need fixing. The range of knowledge just in my garage should give you confidence that they can take care of you and your ride.

They wrecked my car in their parking lot and tried to tell me the damage was already there when I dropped my car off. Also they didnt even fix what I brought my car in for properly and we had to bring my car to a different shop to get fixed properly. They keep deleting my reviews too. Youre better off trying to fix the problem yourself than using JCA

I had my 2012 Nissan Juke worked on at JCA Auto Services for the 30,000 mile service. They were outstanding and thorough in all aspects of the work. Alex explained to me what was done on that 30,000 service when I set up the appointment. Alex, Jr worked on my car and gave me full details as to what they were doing and showed me filters that had to be changed, prior to just doing it. The cost for this service was extremely lower than a dealership and I cannot be happier. This family owned business is one that I will return to and I highly recommend any type of service work that you need, call or go by JCA in Irmo on Broad River. They are a credit to the automotive services in Columbia. Theyanswered all my questions and followed up with when to bring it back when it is necessary for another high mileage service. Avoid this place at all cost! Yesterday we were told by JCA that our ball joint on our 2004 Honda Pilot was broken and needed to be fixed at the cost of $1500! That sounded like way too much money for a repair of a broken ball joint to me so I pressed the owner to describe why the cost was so high. He explained to me that even though only one of my ball joints was broken, that he would like to replace them both for good measure and also replace the controller arms that connect to them, and a bunch of other things that were not broken with my car.I asked the owner of JCA if there was anything wrong with anything other than that one ball joint, he told me no but still tried to convince me to fix things that were not broken on my car. My gut feeling was that he was trying to rip me off. So, I went back to JCA and asked for my car back, at which point he charged $55 bucks for the diagnostic, to my surprise! When I got my car back, I took it to Irmo Tires and Automotive.Irmo Tires looked at the ball joints and told me flat out that they did not need to be replaced! That the car was just fine. Irmo tires told me that the noise I was hearing, which is why I took my car to JCA in the first place, was being caused by something completely different.So, now you all know. This establishment will take advantage of your lack of car knowledge. BTW Im going back into JCA today to demand my $55 diagnostic fee back that I was charged for, especialy for it being completely erroneous!Update: JCA Auto did actually refund the $55 that I was charged for the diagnostic fee, but only after I went there and asked for it back.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
