They will lie to you, refuse to refund you, try to force you to take a substitution, AND the front of the cushions on our 4 month old sofa are already breaking down. They will probably post some “we care” message and “let us make it right” but they had many opportunities to do that and failed.

Service was great in store ( Manheim pike) only had the couch for a little over a month and the one wood support beam cracked and the support brackets are off.... seems like manufacture default... hoping to get an email back for a replacement.

I was barely greeted by the sales person as he was busy on his phone. I looked around, couldnt figure out how one of the recliners worked, and ended up leaving because I was frustrated. Never shopping there again.

Horrible experience I made a purchase and called into cancel my order because they couldn’t get the item to me for 2 months . They told me that they do not do any refunds even if it was so close to the time it was purchased, I would call in and get a different answer every time . Till this day I have not received the item and they still do not take any ownership for the horrible customer service experience that they continue to give . Please be careful with buying anything from this store . I still haven’t received a email from any one . Is that also a 3 month wait time ?

Called to speak to manger. Got hung up on after asking for the lady’s name so I can speak to her boss. Then called back she told them I cursed her out which I did not. The customer service is awful. They keep telling me I can’t speak to anyone higher up which is ridiculous and refused to tell me there names.

They have very nice furniture for very good prices. I went to buy a dining set at Wolf furniture and they had to order the one I liked. I went to this furniture store and found the same exact one for about $200 less. Staff is very nice and attentive.

Purchased a sofa and love seat combo from here last fall. I got an amazing price on it. All their items are new, some may be damaged but theyre upfront about it. They deliver for $100 cash to the drivers-which I thought was a little shady but everything worked out okay. If youre looking for sophisticated shopping atmosphere, this is not it. Its in an old warehouse/garage type building. But I got a great suede sofa, love seat, with matching pillows for about $900 and $100 delivery. Looked everywhere else and no other places compare at that price!

Bought a bed set that had terrible assembly instructions and didnt come with all the parts. I havent slept on the bedframe yet since it isnt fully assembled, but it doesnt even seem sturdy.

We went in looking for a bed for our oldest son. Immediately when we entered the store we were welcomed by an employee and quickly and efficiently helped. When we were making a decision, the employee gave us space to talk and consider our options. Ultimately we bought a full size bed from Furniture and Mattress Discount King because of the phenomenal deal we got. Once we decided, the employee was very helpful in terms of deciding pick-up and he also very quickly got us rang up and checked out with all the necessary paperwork. I would recommend Furniture and Mattress Discount King if you are looking for a good deal!Update 6/6/16: pickup was very easy and my son really loves the bed!

The store is surrounded by ineptitude and incompetence,i am awfully disappointed.I wish I could give them a negatives starts, if you want waste your time and money these is the right place to go. I bought a living room set and a dinner table and that was the worst purchase Ive ever make, first they told me it would take 2 weeks for delivery which I believe its right but after 1 month waiting for my items they sent me a broken dinner table and they left the living room in my parking lot because they couldnt make it for the front door. pure professionalism .

Very pleased with the mattress. Just be careful for what they promise. The delivery turned out to be a disaster . i was told the delivery company would bring down the old mattress and not take it away,.That portion was correct. when I asked them to carry down the old unit. I was told that was not part of the package. NEVER TOLD THAT. The salesman said I went over that HAHA . Well for a few extra $$ the delivery people were very obliging. The main delivery person who was extremely nice said this happens every time!! Should have ? the organization when they do not take checks. Not my style of business.

Furniture just arrived.. Couch wont fit through my front door! Was told by Vicki that delivers would assemble headboard and footboard.., that wasnt true. Well for an additional fee they would. Paid 80$ for delivery only to have it all taken back... unless I wanted to go back to the store and redo my contract. (Smaller couch) No thank you. Ill pass. At least the delivery guys were nice. Buyer beware. NOT EVER GOING TO PATRONIZE OR REFERENCE THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

I had the worst experience with the Lancaster Store. The prices are economical but the furniture is of poor quality.I purchased a mattress and box spring set for my son in December, and by April the mattress springs creaked and the box spring dented. I went to the store to get information regarding the warranty on my purchase. The store manager “Vicky” advised me to contact customers service with pictures to get authorization for the warranty exchange. Customer service agreed to the exchange but I had to bring the items back to the store myself. (Huge inconvenience!) When I returned to the store with the set “Vicky” would not honor the agreement to exchange. She was rude, unprofessional and lacked courtesy. I requested to speak with her manager so she called the General Manager “Reggie” who immediately agreed with his counterpart. He said he did not need to review any pictures or emails and that he knew Vicky for over 25years, so he took her word over mine.I was extremely appalled by the lack of customer service management presented in this matter and would not recommend anyone shop at this store...........Response to Owner Response!!!!!The pictures sent to customer service clearly displayed any minor imperfections on the mattress and they where still willing to authorize the exchange. The problem came to being at store level. The store manager refused the return, after I already communicated the issues with customer service. No one ever suggested I clean the mattress or I would have done that before hauling it all the way to the store, to be rudely denied an already authorized exchange. For you to suggest reaching out to customer service again is an insult, as clearly management at store level doesn’t follow the same standard as your customer service team. At this point the inconvenience, lack of courtesy, unprofessional management, and let’s not forget the reason I’m in this situation, poor quality merchandise is the reason I will never go to this store again nor would I recommend it to anyone else. Thanks but no thanks, UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER.

Nice couches, decent prices!

I ordered a queen size bed and they Changed in to a king size and charged us more When we pay off the bed and I have proof the did because I still have the paper work. There was a lady there that said we will be getting the box springs and the bed but when we went to pick them up the next day a different lady said we weren’t getting the box springs it was only the bed. She said she will order them for me but we would have to pay for them. Then on Saturday a Spanish lady calls saying the box springs are there and that we can pick them up because it came with the bed and today I get a phone call saying the box spring are there but I have to pay for them. So from the beginning they messed up on my order and customers are always right. if the store employee gave out the wrong information twice that’s on them not on us and the store manager wants to go back and fourth with customers like it our fault that her employee gave us wrong information. BAD BUSINESS!!!!

Just bought furniture from this place beautiful furniture will buy again in the future

Paid for delivery service which was scheduled to be delivered between 10-2. The idiot manager at the store gives the delivery service the billing address instead of the delivery address and we get a call from the driver saying he was given the wrong address and now we have to wait for 7 more deliveries!!! On top of that they say they’ll then send a driver to delivery furniture but I’ll have to help him bring everything in!!! The services was to include delivery of furniture and set up of sectional. Now I’ll have to bring in furniture myself. So still have to pay the entire delivery fee for the manger’s mistake and she will not budge on paying our fee or offer anything in return for her dumb mistake. Unprofessional and just a plain idiot.

Lowest prices in PA or its free is not true. What they will do is beat the lowest price you find at other stores, and not by alot either. I saved $10😑There is no scenario that they cant beat the price and offer you a free couch. They should change their slogan to lowest prices in PA. false advertisingEdit: the owners response just verified what I said. There are signs around the store, inside and out, that say lowest prices in pa or its free . Then you said we offer the lowest price every chance we can which still proves that you do not follow your slogan. Just change it to lowest prices in pa. In what scenario would you say man, I cant lower my price to match the competitor, here! Have it for free! Even the manager I was dealing with had no idea on how that makes sense.

I went into the store with my better part to look for furniture for our apartment. When I walked in it was with the intention to look and shop around. The sale person we met was very pleasant and welcomed us with a smile she also explained the qualities of each of the products that we were interested in. She was able to assist us in making a great choice and a beneficial purchase. I would definately recommend Furniture and Mattress Discount King to anyone and will buy from them again!

Nice people in the store but we bought a couch and loveseat combo Simmons upholstery (made in USA). Delivery guys nice, arrival time of furniture good....now the bad news...this furniture quality is awful...within a few days the stitching on the loveseat arm coming apart...I called the store and they said we would have to return it ourselves and then pay for any delivery fees AGAIN!...Not happy but chose not to return.....now the couch is literally falling apart...springs keep coming loose...frame squeaking...cushions sinking...mind you we have no small children...nobody is jumping on The couch...TERRIBLE QUALITY and be aware you are stuck unless you wanted to pay more money for repairs....I will never use them again...I actually asked before the purchase if the frame was strong and the sales person said very much so...the sale appears more important then people getting decent quality for hard earned money...

We went there 2 days ago to get mom new mattress set. She had a stroke last year. They never told us they dont set up when they came they said they cant set it up i was so mad mom couldnt do it and i have to get back surgery soon. I .Would not recommend them at all. Do they even care my mom had a stroke danny at the lancastet store never told us they dont set up. He even saw my mom in wheel chair when ee came in. Even thought i am getting surgery i tiik old stuff off moved it to another room all they had to do is lay it dien would took 2 minutes never go thete again

I’d never go back again; I have 200 store credit, however I could not use it because they said u need to have receipt to show: I mean my name is in the file; and I’m sure they know exactly how much of store credit I have left in my account. It’s only $200 bucks to know who they really are.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The store manager at th elancasyer location has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. I have never seen a “MANAGER” raise her voice at a customer because they did not understand the terms of the lease and continue to cut her off mid sentence not allowing her to say what her situation was. I was there to use a credit and did not bring my paperwork since I had never been asked for it before. Before the lady that was attending me had a chance to say anything to me the store manager cot her off very rudely and said in such an unkind way I could not use my store credit of $800 without my paperwork. I was appalled at her tone and told her I’d be back with my paperwork. When I came back thank God for Zoraida who was an angel very kind and helpful made me feel like I was making the right choice. As for he store manager she’s garbage and needs to be let go! Her appearance doesn’t do the place justice. She had an employee sitting on the furniture with feet kicked up eating out of a giant Chex mix container and it looked entirely unprofessional. I will NEVER do business with this place WBER again! It’s not worth it and honestly the majority of the furniture they carry is tasteless and over priced!
