The staff there was so nice I felt very comfortable as if I been there before also the Dr was very awesome I will most definitely be coming there again

Great experience with this SVS! Dr. Khalaf (hoping Im spelling it right) was great through the eye exam, explaining contacts, and answering any questions I may have had. Monica helped me pick out my glasses and break down pricing because I did not want to spend too much.Only reason why I am giving this four stars is because there was miscommunication and I had to get my contact prescription changed three times to finally get them right. I am no stranger to contacts so I knew something was off. It was frustrating having to do that and I was only allowed to do so if I made an appt and it got difficult as i am a night shift nurse. thankfully, the doctor was very understanding and my issue is now resolved.Overall i am happy with my experience and i will return here for future visits.

Had a good eye appointment and needed new glasses. We have GM retiree insurance and it still cost $294 for a pair of glasses. Just wondered if I could have done better at Sears or Americas Best?

The people that work there are great but one employee used my debit card after I left the office. The service was good as well.

From the person that scheduled my first appointment, the doctor that did my eye examination, (very thorough and explained everything, and asked if I had any questions), the person that helped me pick out my frames, (Very patient I might add), the person that called me to say my glasses have arrived, and to the person that made sure my glasses were made correctly and fitted to my face, this was truly an excellent experience. The staff at this location are truly professionals from start to finish! I would highly recommend, if you are in need of glasses, this is the location that will give you the true customer experience that you deserve! Thank you to the entire staff!

I wont return to this location again. Ive done business here for some time but now you have to wait an extended time for an appointment. (I had no problem getting in another location within the week, however.). I made my son an appointment because waiting wasnt as much of an issue, but now if I want my son to actually get his glasses fitted we have to wait multiple days again. They certainly didnt wait to take my money, though...very disappointed. I should have taken my son elsewhere.

I went to the SVS on 7 mile in Livonia on 9/1/20. I had a very wonderful experience. This was my first time with this company. The doctor was excellent. She was very friendly, gentle and we had good laughs about how our eyes change with age. And the lady who help me pick out my glasses was amazing. I don’t remember her name, but her employee number was on my receipt. Her employee number is 000387. She helped me pick some great glasses and sunglasses. I always wanted prescription sunglasses, but never thought about it. She was a amazing help, and we had great conversation. I felt very good about what I picked. I even took pictures before I left . Thank you ladies for your great customer service.

First time going there, and they told me that my glasses would be done by a certain date, they weren’t. When I finally got my glasses the prescription was wrong in them and couldn’t see, then they added on extra charges to UPGRADE my glasses ( which I didn’t ask for) I returned both pairs and got my money back, but lots of inconvenience for me to deal with the insurance company because of them. Ended up having my glasses made elsewhere. My medical dr requested my records and so did I, and never received them . It’s not saving you money or time.

I enjoy my SVS glasses so much I resent having to lie down as it involves taking my glasses off, especially after the adjustment that was done for a perfect fit.

After a fiasco at the Southfield SVS Vision store in Southfield, Monica and Vicki handled my problem with dignity. These ladies went above and beyond duty to make my situation right. I am so appreciative of the effort they put forth. I should’ve gone to the Livonia store in the first place, but I tried to stay close to home. Sometimes closer is not better. Lesson learned!!! My experience there was great. I was made to feel comfortable from the moment I stepped through the doors. The doctor made me feel comfortable during my eye exam and answered all the questions I had for him. When asked, he gave me a rundown of all the different types of contacts along with his recommendations. But I never felt pressured to order anything I didnt want.Same with Lori, the woman who helped me order my glasses. She gave me a rundown of my options, answering all the questions I had for her. She also broke down the pricing for me, making sure I understood exactly what I was getting and how much my final price was.The staff at this SVS location have been wonderful thus far. I hope this good service continues once my glasses come in.

Fast, Professional and Great Customer Service. Can’t believe I actually had a good time picking out glasses. First, Ashanti from the front desk greeted me with a smile, which gave me a very good first impression. My exam was painless and quick, so no complaints there. Shortly after meeting with the doctor I was set up with Monique to assist with picking out my frames. Monique was super friendly, and very knowledgeable of the different types of frames. Definitely a pleasure working with such a beautiful spirit. I was not having a good day at all yesterday, and it was nice to have been treated with such kindness and respect. Working with the public is not an easy job, so hats off to such a great group of people that made it look so easy. Everyone was smiling, and truly engaged with their patient, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Not to mention I actually came in the day before my exam to just look around, and William was very helpful, even though my appointment wasn’t until the next day. Keep up the good work! The doctor was great and one of the easiest optometrists to work with. I highly recommend her.Monica, the kind woman who helped me pick out my new frames and process the transaction, was also amazing.The only reason this is a four star review rather than five stars is because the manager made me feel really uncomfortable. She was demeaning to her employees right in front of me, muttering spiteful things under her breath about one of the receptionists loud enough for me to hear.I told the receptionist, who took the snide comments with only a pained and defeated expression, that she was a saint for the way she handled the situation. There was a palpable tension throughout the entire store that lowered my opinion of this SVS vision.I hope this will change before my next visit.

I went in not as a customer to ask if my 3 year old toddler daughter who was about to pee her pants could use their bathroom and the doctor on site (Caucasian male with glasses) and customer service rep at the door told me no and to go to one of the restaurants. Well it was 10am and by working there they should know that the restaurants around them don’t open until 11. What kind of business doesn’t have the decency to allow a child to use the restroom? Go elsewhere, find a place with empathy and manners. Not a business that I would ever attend or recommend

Visited on 10-27-2018...cannot remember my Drs name such a beautiful, caring, friendly doctor. It been a long long time since I have had an eye exam that through. Friendly staff they make you feel welcome and relaxed. Oh by the way it was the pretty lady doctor🤣🤣🤣

Just had a great experience here. This is my first eye exam since I was a small child so I didnt know what to expect. Everyone was very sweet, welcoming and helpful. The doctor Tiffany was very kind and gentle and the woman who helped me pick my glasses was helpful and made great suggestions to help pick glasses that fit me and my eye color well. The appointment was very swift and painless. I will be coming here for my future needs!

I would like to personally thank MONICA. She has been wonderful for years. She fitted my son for glasses for the first time when he was about 8-10 years old. He was very nervous about everything going on. He is now 23 and refuses to see anyone else. If Monica is not there he comes back at a different time. I, of course also request Monica and will make my appointment around her schedule. Great prices and specials, very large selection of frames and extras available.

My wait to see the eye doctor was less than 5 minutes. She was very personable and made me feel comfortable during the exam. The woman that helped me pick out my frames was very friendly and helpful. I agree with the person who said the doctor wasnt very personable. Kind of like hes doing his job but dont really like it. He wasnt rude, but not friendly either. Would of gave them another star for this reason. The girl who service my husband and I was very nice and helpful. So I was happy with her.

I was very impressed with the staff here. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. The doctor took her time with me during the exam. The front lady showed me which frames were covered by my insurance and didnt try to upsell me on anything I didnt ask for. I will go back when its time for another pair of glasses.

Dr Tiffany Tu was knowledgeable and welcoming during my exam. Monica and the other girls up front were very helpful and friendly when helping me pick out my frames. The whole staff worked quickly to ensure a prompt visit. Would easily recommend to friends and family.

I went to LensCrafters for years despite declining patient care and customer service. This year I decided to try SVS Vision and I wish I had gone sooner! The Optometrist was super nice and efficient, the frame selection was great and the 7mile location was clean, friendly and quick. I will be delighted to go back next year.

Just picked up my two pairs of glasses. They look great and the prescription is just great and what I was hoping for. They came through.

My experience here was amazing from the time I walked into check in, to seeing this Great Dr. Until I left. I would recommend this place to everyone. I had my exam on Friday and received my glasses on a Tuesday. OMG😂😂😂😂...Go see them wonderful people and atmosphere.

I got my prescription and then tried to pick out glasses and they were terrible, so u took my prescription to svs and they helped me pick out what I needed and also helped me get sunglasses. Excellent customer service! I called in looking to get my glasses fixed, they didnt have the capability to fix them and Tom kindly took it upon himself to find a place that performs laser welding. I highly recommend SVS Vision.

SVS Vision Optical Center is a very nice place. I go to the one that is located on Middlebelt, and everyone is overall pretty friendly. The place never seems to be too busy either. The only thing I have an issue with is that they don’t have an extremely wide variety of glasses that my insurance covers, but besides that it’s where I’ll always go for my glasses.

Love them Ive been seeing them for two years now and they never let me down. I love my new glasses.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I got myself a pair of glasses from SVS YESTERDAY and I called and asked about getting my prescription with and the pupillary distance. We can NOT do that, THAT is against our policy. … Way to be a greedy company! This company obviously cares more about the $$ than their patients. . A couple years ago my father-in-law was in an assisted living facility. He would lose his glasses so often we would have to constantly buy him new glasses. We had gotten his prescription at Wal-mart we do not have insurance and we explained that to them and we were given his prescription WITH the pupillary distance without a problem. So its back to Wal-mart they may have longer wait times, but at least they care about their customers.

Very rude front desk associate. I cancelled my appointment after arriving to the establishment for the appointment due to the poor customer service. Save your time and go to RX Optical across the street if you want better service.

This was the worse customer service I have ever been of. The optician was very rude, unprofessional to her coworkers and she treated them like garbage. I was sitting at the table and she was yelling across the room to her coworker and just talking rude to her and was just out of line. The way she was talking to her made me not want to support this place. And the way she kept interrupting me so she could yell across the room. They ready need new training their.

Made my appointment, came in for the eye exam - less then 5 minutes after filling out my new patient paperwork the doctor called me in. The entire staff was polite and NOT pushy at all. They simply asked what kind of lenses I wanted - good or bad really - good if you know exactly what you want; bad if youre not sure whats available. But it was good for me. Ive had similar bad experiences with other offices in the area; but this was a new office for me and a good 1st impression.

4th trip for repairs on 5 month old glasses. Blame the frames. Say I have to wait 19 months for insurance to buy new ones???? Go somewhere else where they stand behind their products. Never have been so unhappy about a product and services.

The lady that helped me quickly turned rude when I told her I didnt need new frames, I only needed to get new lenses. I was really disappointed in the attitude change.The above was about 1 year ago. I just called to give them a second chance. With my bad luck I am pretty sure I just got the same rude lady.Sorry I tried SVS it won’t happen again. I believe her name was Cathy. You may want to have her take some customer service classes.

Today was my first time going to SVS and I had a pleasant appointment. The office staff seams to get overwhelmed easily, and they need food when they are hungry, but I feel like that is normal. I did encounter a couple blunt and seemingly burnt out employees, but they were not the ones that assisted me.

I was sent a reminder text the morning of my appointment with a link to the location. I clicked the link and followed the map to the address. They had sent me to the wrong store. The guy at the counter told me it was the Livonia location I needed. So I looked up Livonia SVS on Waze. It sent me 15mins away to what used to be an SVS. They had moved. I called and was finally given the address to the new store and told that I was 5 mins away and I could still come if I was there in the next 15 mins. I got there, waited for several mins for someone to acknowledge I was there, handed in the forms I had completed ahead of time (as directed by their website), and was told I could browse while I waited. After 10 mins I was called over and told that since I was 20mins late for my appt. I could not be seen today and I would have to reschedule, and that since I desired an appt later in the day... it would be awhile. So I cannot speak to their competency as an eye dr. Because frankly... despite going to 3 locations...I’ve never seen one.I did however attempt to call the corporate office. There customer service center was “unavailable” so I was redirected to an “operator” which was a machine. I left a message saying what happened and requesting a call back, but my hopes are low.

Everything went very smooth, I was in on a very busy day, Dec 31 and a number of people were in when I arrived for their end of the year insurance glasses...Everyone was very polite and the Dr. (sorry I do not remember her name) was very thorough and friendly...I am confident my glasses will be of same quality as the people who helped me! Thank you for a very good experience

I went there with my 84yr old grandmother. She is generally very pleasant and expresses mild humor. The doctor was dry to the point of rudeness. It was near the end of the day and so I gave him some leniency However, mom was trying very hard to follow his directives and he was robotic and cold. I also work in the health field. Bedside manner is important! He should learn some even though hes not in a hospital setting. He was informative from a ocular perspective

Great new location, Dr. Drennan was very good, being attentive, patient and thorough in my exam.He checked a couple pair of existing specialty glasses I had, then made recommendations and wrote two prescriptions, one for everyday use and one for specific need.I had requested an eye exam online, I was contacted via phone to set and confirm the appt, I got an email reminder ahead of the appt date, and I was able to download the patient questionnaire in advance to fill out.I was greeted upon arrival, had my eye exam, and then checked out without any fuss. They were a bit busy as it was a Saturday afternoon, but I felt neither neglected nor rushed. I would recommend them based on my experience.No high pressure tactics for buying from the staff who were all very friendly.I had in the past been to a different eyeglasses provider and often felt pressure to buy right now.
