I always enjoy the donuts there. The staff are friendly and today they got either two or three new people so that will be a great help for them.If you are wondering where they are at, type in Discount Smokes Hillview into Google and, once you are there, pass up the building the smoke shop is in and go to the one next to it. They are in front of the first 3 parking spots.They are open from 5:30am to noon Monday to Saturday and 6am to noon on Sunday.They have a nice selection and I am curious to try them all.I hope you all enjoy them like I do.

I was looking for a doughnut place around me and I had never tried this place before so I wanted to give it a go and I give it 5 stars because everything was so fresh and I wasnt disappointed in any of the donuts that I got, I also got a breakfast burrito and it was so good! Highly recommend this place and their prices are very reasonable.

Four stars based on their usual high donut quality. The apple fritters are the best around. Im holding one star for when, if ever, they stick to their posted hours.I really, really dont like driving 4 miles farther round trip than their much closer competition, only to find the shop unexpectedly closed. I can understand the rare occurrence, but its more often than that.I know this shop has suffered heartbreaking loss in the family. I sympathize with the suddenness of the sons having been pressed to follow the father. Hes doing a great job. But as a consumer, I kinda count on getting my donut fix when I expect it.Lastly, as it applies to all donut shops around here, I wish at least one of you would bring back pecan sticky buns and maybe fruit jam topped küchens to broaden the locally limited selection.

When I walked in, I saw stacks of pre-ordered donuts. This place is obviously beloved by locals. The fritters were huge and our favorite. Prices were reasonable and service was quick and kind.

The cashier is rude. She handles cash and phone during transactions while picking doughnuts. The doughnuts are average and you may not get the type you ask for so check the box before you leave. The worst customer service in the doughnut business, Ive been involved with.

Two stars only because some of the doughnuts are decent; however, the last time we ordered a glazed yeast doughnut, it was more like very dense fried pretzel dough. Beyond that, the customer service is apathetic at best and rude at worst—they tend to make you feel like youre an inconvenience to them for having the gall to patronize their business. Further, you never can tell when the place will even be open. I attempted a visit at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but alas, they were closed. Legend has it they may be closed even now...

So drove 15 miles sometime after Christmas, sign on door says reopen Jan 6th. Well I go there today Jan 6th. Still closed. Wasted a 30 minute drive round trip and still no donuts. I think this is a bit ridiculous. They have lost my business I’ll just go to donut shop around the corner.

Yes, the lady is mean and rude, but the donuts are amazing!! Just keep interaction with her to a minimum and read the little paper sign with the long john descriptions before you order so you won’t get yelled at. I live downtown, but I drive out to this shop once a week just because the donuts are that tasty and fresh.

Its a small, local business that has been around for years. Donuts Sky has made a name for itself, but the quality of food is just average. I have had a lot better doughnuts, but I have also had a lot worse. I find the texture of their glazed doughnuts a little odd and dry. For the price, though, it isnt bad.

The lady running the place does her best, and then some. She takes phone/custom orders, is available all day, and her donuts are great! Kids are constantly hanging out there, presumably hers, but they seem to be helping out. Theyve all been nice and friendly every time Ive stopped in.

Great donuts. Apple fritters are quite tasty. Best part is this place is not trying to be anything other then a donut shop. Be careful only open until noon and try the red cake donut as well. You wont be disappointed.

My husband loves their donuts. They are sometimes short on help. He waited 25 minutes to get 2 donuts last week but only 10 minutes yesterday.

I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact they don’t open when they say they are open. Today makes twice in 1 month that I’ve made a special trip here early in the morning 5:20am to get these doughnuts and when I get there it’s closed? Why does it say open at 5am on your website and on your door? Like people really want to waste their gas to come out to get these and the store isn’t open when it’s supposed to be. Just change your hours. Say you open at 6am cause that’s clearly when you do open. Your food is amazing and I do love everything I get here. Just need to stop misleading people about when you’re open.

Best donuts around. I friend donuts for years at different bakeries and these are the ultimate perfect donut. Crisp outside, velvety inside and plenty of filling and icing. Also super affordable. Is 20 min from my house and was worth every second of ride lol.

Had the most amazing strawberry cake donuts on 7-31-2016 from Donut Sky!! I thought they had the best donuts around from having their white creamed filled long johns, but after having the cake donuts I would say they are my new favorite. I wish I lived in Louisville, I would have them everyday!! Every trip to Louisville will include your donuts!

Like other reviews, the woman owner is super rude. Shes awful for her own business honestly. Her kids and the guy who works here are nice though. I still won’t be back, i try to support small family owned businesses, but not when the owner is as rude as she is, she does not appreciate her customers, and she’s very impolite.

Truely phenomenal customer service! I Im getting married TODAY and I asked the owner(super nice lady!!) if she could make some special ring shaped doughnuts for my fiancé and her friends who were getting ready super early this morning. I submitted my request a week in advance and the owner called me throughout the week to ask about what I would like, and even text me the morning of to let me know they were ready. The doughnuts turned out better than I could have ever hoped! I wish I could give this place an extra 5 stars! This is the type of service you love about small business owners.
