The Sales manager mislead me on an interest rate offer. Saturday June 5th 2021 I went car shopping and decided I was going to purchase a vehicle that day. I explained that I could offer cash but would rather finance and asked her for a competitive interest rate compared to the Credit Unions Im currently with. The sales manager claimed to have done the research and she gave me a rate of 2.94%. I called my Credit Unions that following Monday and the actual rate they were offering was 2.49% that would go down to 1.99% if I did automatic payments. I explained this to the Sales Manager which refused to help me and didnt take any accountability for misleading me. I even tried talking to the General Manager and he seemed to want to help but eventually never returned my phone calls. I planned on purchasing atleast 2 more vehicles from them in the next 2yrs but they have ruined those sales my misleading me and never attempting to make me whole on a $4,000 mistake. I was forced to eventually pay in cash when my first bill came in the mail which ruined other business ventures I had set forth. Arnie Bauer dealership didnt do right by me and I made it very clear what I was looking for to make this deal happen and that I also wanted to continue my business with them, but they absolutely didnt care about misleading me.
The lady I spoke to when I scheduled the appointment was very Helpful and was able to get me in on the day that I needed. Also, Vinnie was awesome as well.
I went here this morning to get my car checked out, I didnt have an appointment. Bill Neibert in the service department said I have to schedule an appointment. I told him the problem going on with my SUV, he said let me see if someone canceled there appointment/will try to get me in. He said he will be able to get me in. I was so happy for him taking a few extra minutes to check. I appreciate his good customer service. Thanks again Bill!

I have been car shopping since July. Many big-name dealerships charge ridiculous fees like a MAP fee, lot fee, cleaning the car fee, security guard fee, etc….NOT Arnie Bauer!I asked (online) if I could get a price for a vehicle I was interested in as if I were going into purchase that day (I lived an hour away and again dealing from other dealerships, the advertised price was not the actual price after all the fees were added up).Arnie Bauer gave me a “final” price… when I came in to test drive the vehicle, Tom my sales man, was excellent. No pressure at all. Poor guy had to deal with me test driving three different cars!I decided to purchase one of the cars and sure enough, the price was what they promised! NO HIDDEN FEES!!!I want to thank everyone that I dealt with, Tom, Jonathan and Cody et al.Don’t go to other big-name dealerships, come to Arnie Bauer where you are treated with respect and courtesy!

Adam was very honest about what needed repairs had to be done on my car. He is always very detailed, polite, and my car was ready when promised. I wouldnt go to any other service advisor. Car was also very nicely washed, which was greatly appreciated.
I took my Buick Envision in for a few things over the last few months (oil change, windshield repair and tire patch). Great service and staff! I expected more from a Cadillac dealer.My wife and I recently purchased a CPO Cadillac through Arnie Bauer. The sales staff (Henry and Trina) were absolutely fantastic during the purchasing process, but after sale experience has not been so great.The downside to the purchase was that per the purchasing agreement, a couple of paint blemishes were to be professionally repaired at no cost to us. The service writer (who is a great guy) worked very hard to get us courtesy car and work within my schedule. Having said that, we did not receive a professional repair on the paint, they instead used a loosely color matched paint pen. In the process of repairing about 1 of the gap between fender and front bumper was filled with paint, paint was left on both headlights, and one side wasnt completely covered.No one is perfect and no car is perfect, but the terms of the sale were never met. Having owned Audi, BMW, and other GM vehicles I expected more.

I was greeted upon arrival. The gentleman was friendly, fast and professional. They communicated with me from the beginning of my service informed of how long it was going to take to get a diagnostic on my vehicle and was actually faster than what was expected. In my previous experience with the Toyota dealer next door who I purchased my vehicle from upon arrival I was not greeted and when I was finally acknowledged I was asked if I was at the right dealership. Then I was told that I would need to schedule an appointment. I went to my car and scheduled my appointment for 5 min later. I went back inside and the gentleman said he had to call to verify my appointment. With the purchase of my vehicle I purchased Toyota care and was told to bring my car back in if I needed any service. However without checking the serviceman told me I didn’t have a warranty and I would need to pay $149 for them to look at my car. I informed him that the warranty had a $0 deductible he said it didn’t matter I would still have to pay the $149 I ended up asking for my keys and leaving.That entire service experience at Toyota was bad. I am so grateful I did not experience anything like that at Arnie Bauer.
I took my suv in because I’m taking a road trip out of town. I told the SA John K multiple times if I could have my alignment checked and if needed to adjust alignment. Also to perform a multi point and to check all my fluid and top off if needed. When I went to pick up my suv. No where on the invoice stats they did a multi point inspection. Also when I asked John K if all was completed he stats, “ yes all you wanted was an alignment right”. No multi point inspect was done. My washer fluid is still empty. They also did not perform an alignment as they stated they did. I have pictures showing my tie rods were not touched even tho they stats they have to adjusted the toes. I was charged for performing a 4wheel alignment even tho no alignment was done. I am trying to reach out to the shop manager but am not able to get a hold of him.
I got an alignment and the hub ring was taken off and not replaced. I had to take my vehicle somewhere else to get it put back on and have the tires balanced
We had an awesome experience! Customer service was incredibly helpful before we even came to the dealership. Once there, Dave Brdar answered all of our questions and got us into the car we love!!!!! I will come back here again and recommend Dave and Arnie Bauer to my friends and family for sure!!!!

Communication wasn’t the best with the salesperson. Got there to pick up the truck and it was not detailed. Also coming from out of state the registration was not explained but I paid for license and registration fees. Sales manager was very helpful and Lee did an awesome job with delivery because my salesperson was not there

Called in about a used car I saw they had posted online. told the guy I was looking at spending a specific amount, a fair amount less than they had listed/nothing crazy. he said he didnt want to make any promises but if i came in they could probably work with me on that. drove an hour to get there, was quickly met by David who was very to the point and no BS. we test drove it then came back to look at the price together. a manager came over and we talked about price for 20 minutes and reached an agreement. They then worked with me on how I was going to pay and 30 minutes later I walked out with the keys to my new car.was very pleased overall with the guys I had the chance of doing business with, was breath of fresh air after the other places I had been where I was getting pressured to buy something on the spot by pushy sales men that werent even willing to work with me on price.
Andrew, our salesman was great. Informative, helpful but not pushy. Loved the encore, but Im a big guy with a bad knee, and physically it was uncomfortable for me to drive. Unfortunately Im not ready at this time to move up to a larger vehicle. I will come back and see you in a couple years when Im ready to replace my wifes caddy.
The entire process was the best I have ever experienced when purchasing a new vehicle. Ive been bringing my vehicle here for over a year now.. pretty good service. Just be aware of the extra work they might recommend that you didnt initially come in for.. sometimes its needed sometimes its not time for it.. especially if youre paying out of pocket. check your owners manual to confirm..

They made me an appointment for Labor day I thought this was odd so I made sure they would be open, the person who made the appointment said yes. 8am labor day I went to get my Escalade serviced, low and behold they were closed. I even received an email confirmation of my appointment 8am on Sept 6th. Ridiculous very disappointed and angry.

My sales experience with Alex was amazing when I purchased the truck. However at 30k I was in the shop for transmission issues. It got fixed under warranty which was great and adam the service guy was fine... but when I got my truck back it smells musty like a dirty mop bucket and I also have a paint chunk missing on the door handle. There were also greasy sticky hand prints on the door. I’d buy a truck from Alex again. But to be honest I’m never Comming to your service department again.
The attitudes werent thar great and to Charge over $500 for labor for an installation of an $85 part. That was highway robbery. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Im trading th>s piece of garbage in for an SUV and Ill be going to another dealership for this
When I discussed with service writer Adam about wanting oil change and tire rotation, he also suggested that I was due for transmission oil and filter change. A good idea. When I requested my front brakes be inspected, he had them checked and advised me there was still enough wear on them to check again in the spring. Great service and great service writer
This was the 1st time I have purchased a vehicle from another state. I looked for several months and was a bit discouraged that the vehicle that had all I was looking for was out of state.. I got a call from David Brard and started discussing everything I needed to know about this process. There were several times I went to back out from fear of being misled. I got to know my salesman on a much deeper level than Ive ever gotten to know any salesman. He was so patient and went out of his way to actually drive the vehicle himself to make sure it was everything he knew I wanted. Not only was this one of the easiest large purchases Ive ever experienced but would do it again if it was exactly what I was looking for and had a salesman thats honesty was felt through many miles! The worst experience that Ive ever had with a dealership. Found a vehicle online Friday night and made an offer, and was told Saturday morning at 9:00 am that the offer was taken to the managers for review. I never heard back until Monday, even after reaching out a 2nd time on Saturday at 2:00 . It wasnt until the 2nd email from the salesperson on Monday that I was told they sold the vehicle on Saturday to someone else.
I continue to take my car back to the dealership because the service is always excellent. Not only that, but I have the same Service Manager and continue to see the same Salesman that sold me my car. This means that you have a low turnover there and that it is a steady place of employment and treat your employees well. I respect that.
We recently purchased a newer used vehicle from Arnie Bauer. Less than a month later and under 1,000 miles the transmission ended up needing to be replaced. This vehicle has barely 75,000 miles on it and we drove less than 1,000 of them. Arnie Bauer refused to split the cost of warranty with us or help us in any way. They lost customers for life and any folks we meet on the way will be sure to know the type of folks who they are dealing with at Arnie Bauer.
The service employee was good but the experience was Beyond his control. The first thing they told me at the desk was they didn’t have any loaner cars. 45 minutes before closing they called me and told me I have to get there by five to get a Buick enclave which was not comparable to the size of my GMC deluxe pickup truck.Once my vehicle was repaired a day after they said it would be. I picked it up & it wasn’t washed.I assumed this Multi-Mega-Dealer-Plaza would 1) Have vehicles to loan and at comparable size or value& 2). As a courtesy wash the car that was serviced

Adam in the service department, pads your bill with made up service needs. The most recent encounter with him I was told I had an oil leak, and water pump damage. Upon retrieving my vehicle and getting a second opinion it was discovered that I had nothing more than a broken serpentine b elt. The repair cost was $150. Adam had quoted me an estimate of $1100! When did this happen? Last month, May of 2021. No star service!
I cannot stress how well we were treated at Arnie Bauers. It was the best car shopping and sales experience ever. Both Bret and Rowland really made us feel comfortable with all the questions we had. They made the whole process quick, easy, enjoyable and affordable. I love my 2018 GMC Terrain Denali. Driving has taken on a whole new meaning now. I do a lot of city and highway driving and it is so fun. I love the Turbo engine, the gas mileage is fantastic and the features on this model is everything I could have ever asked for plus more. I had first gone to a dealership 2 miles from me and I was not satisfied. So I took the long trip out to Matteson from the city, and it was well worth the journey. The staff were immediately interactive and popped the hood before I walked away and I noticed right away the other dealership did not top off my washer fluid as requested. And at Arnie Bauer, they found out why my engine light was still on after 2 weeks with the other guys. Basically they completed the job that should’ve been done the first time. AND my car was washed afterwards. No wash at the other guys. A-PLUS service. I will make the trip each and every time. Thank you Arnie Bauer! I recommend you to everyone. Very happy with my used car purchase and will buy new next time.

This is the second Cadillac that I have purchased from Arnie Bauer in the past four years. The service has always been great and the sales people each time were very helpful.
I drove 500 miles to get to Arnie Bauer after making a deal for a Used truck online. When I got there I was treated very well, checked out the vehicle and was satisfied that it was as advertised. I brought my mechanic along and he checked it out, coded the vehicle and even though the thermostat code was cleared, it seemed fine. Only to have it code on me at home again. Thinking it was a thermostat again, I brought it to the repair shop, only to find out that the thermostats installed were modified, somewhere along the ownership transfers, to allow air to escape from a blown head gasket. Estimated repairs exceeded $5,300!Update: the owner called me this morning and he was extremely understanding, helpful and as polite as I’ve ever been treated. He reassured me that his service department would never modify anything and the problem was also hidden from them. The resolution was thoughtful and very much appreciated. This was an “As is” purchase and I was understandably disappointed in the resulting issues. As it stands now, I would definitely make the trip down and purchase another vehicle from this dealership without hesitation! Thank you Brett and Jake for all your assistance to make a bad situation the best! You guys rock!

Arnie Bauer Buick GMC Cadillac is the only place I will take my Caddy and GMC for service. They are the only place I will purchase a new Cadillac or GMC from.Recently my wife brought in our Acadia for an oil change. The tech failed to list issue that needed attention. Much of the work was under an extended warranty. I found these issues and brought the truck back to the service department. I told the dealership owner and the service manager the problems and asked why would the tech over look these issues.The service manager took over my complaint, put me in a XT5 loaner, and sent me on my way. The service writer Erick, was new but super polite, we worked through issues with the warranty company and ultimately repaired all the issues totaling $4000, no charge to me.The way they handle my problems after a clear mishandling by them, is why I am extremely happy with Arnie Bauer.Great service is hard to come by, Arnie Bauer proved that it is important to pamper a customer after a failure.No screaming, no shouting, no attitude..just great service.

Jake made an awesome video of the actual car I wanted to purchase, then hand delivered it himself and walked me through it. Brought hand sanitizer and wipes and wore a mask. I was searching for 2018 Terrain, Denali, for a family member when one was located at the Arnie Bauer dealership. I called and talked to Henry. He was personable, honest, and given our budget, made everything work. During the transaction, he was messaging, and calling to make sure the deal was going smoothly. When my granddaughter was en route, she was running late, called and they waited after hours, on Saturday to make sure she viewed the vehicle and approved of it. Buyer Beware!On 1/18/21, I responded with the below email after receiving a follow up email from Arnie Bauer regarding my experience. Over a week later, Im still awaiting a response from the Dealer on their unprofessional and bait and switch sales tactics after being told my follow up would be sent to a manager.Hi,I was appalled at the level of service I received from your dealership. I had an appointment made on January 13 to see the vehicle on January 16. The dealership followed up with ME multiple times to ensure I would attend the appointment, which I did. Unfortunately, your dealership couldn’t hold up its own obligation.My initial email to your dealer was to confirm the availability of what I thought, according to your website, was a new Acadia AT4 (Stock #G10025). I was told by the online sales rep that there weren’t actual photos of the vehicle on the website because “the vehicle just arrived on the lot and the dealer was in the process of uploading photos.” Apparently, that was a lie I shouldn’t have believed.After driving 45 minutes to your dealer, I was greeted by Rowland. He attempted to locate the vehicle in question, but it wasn’t even on the lot. Next, I was told a manager took the vehicle home. Why was the car able to be taken home when I had a SCHEDULED appointment to see it? Not to mention, the appointment was confirmed multiple times. Upon learning this, I wasn’t interested in the car anymore since I’ve seen how cars with dealer plates are driven and treated by managers, and I wasn’t about to wait around for the manager to return the car to the dealership. FINALLY, I was then told the vehicle was a demo car with ~4,000 miles. Does your dealer usually load up the website with false listings? Why would the internet sales representative tell me the car was brand new and pictures were in process, if the car didn’t even exist? It’s unfortunate the dealership put Rowland in the position of being the messenger for the aforementioned runaround, as he was very friendly and professional; I was looking forward to working with him.I ended up walking out because I could never give my business to a dealer that supports “bait and switch” sales tactics. I drove 45 minutes back home to another GMC dealer local to me and was very pleased by the trade in and car buying experience they provided. They probably felt bad for my embarrassing experience at Arnie Bauer!I’m looking forward to a response from your Management team on the practices of your dealership.Respectfully,

I Juan A Guajardo took our YUKON to the Arnie Bauer service dept in order to have it serviced at the same time have the serpentine adjusterand belt and the A/C belt replaced.I also asked while it was being serviced to check all the levels and replenish them if they needed to be, due to a trip being taken.Well when I got home and checked all the work that should have been done I had to add antifreeze to the resevoir and also added brake fluid to its resoivor.I hope the rest of the service was done properlyThank you . Service was fine. However I was surprised to hear that I had to pay for the oil change on my 2019, leased XT5. Ive been buying/leasing from Bauer for over 30 years. Free oil changes should be a show of appreciation for my loyalty. Also, this is a lease, your car, not mine. I guess loyalty is a thing of the past. Makes me less proud to be a Cadillac owner!

Everything was perfect. They always go out of their way to make you feel valued as a customer.
I was able to get my vehicle in and out in a timely manner. The price was good with my GMC rewards added to the bill.
All in all, it was a pretty good experience. Rowland was an amazing salesman! The only issue i saw, was that the finance guy was WAAAAAAAAAY too pushy on GAP insurance and the extended warranty. The guy actually got kind of upset and offended i wasnt saying yes to the warranty. I own my own business and i know first hand people HATE being pressured into buying product/services. If the customer wants it, they will buy it. If they dont, then drop the topic and dont pressure.Again Rowland was an AMAZING salesman and treated me like family.
Work was completed in a timely manner.
Check engine light came on on my way to work. Vehicle kept shutting off. Was able to take my vehicle right in. My vehicle was fixed.
