Although I pay over $3K annually for a storage unit at this Palm Bay, FL location, an extremely rude employee intentionally hung up on me, then walked out on me during a subsequent visit in the office. The employee displayed a total ignorance of of quality customer service and relations.

The gate has been broken for 7-8 weeks, unit rent was raised three times in 15 months. The magnetic doors in the building have been broken for months, this is not a place I would recommend giving money to on a monthly basis

We rent every year, parking for our car in a drive up unit and its alway clean and Kiesha and the other young lady are the most nicest and polite people in your offices.

Updated June 2021: another big 15% now the rent is $220 after ONE year from $170, a hefty increase of $50 PER month just after ONE year!After only three months since June 2020 for a 10x20 drive up unit on Palm Bay Rd, FL location for a total $170 when signed up (already more expensive than Public Storage at $132 at the time), they jacked up a hefty 14% on my monthly rate to be $193! Before I signed the contract they promised me verbally that there would NOT be a rental increase for at least 12 months even it is a monthly contract. Totally scam and dishonest! Ill have to go to Public Storage or others for much less WITHOUT a sudden big rate increase after only three months

I went online and signed up, recieved a call to confirm my request almost immediately. The customer service on the phone and in person was great. She was extremely helpful, courteous and answered all of my questions. The facility was clean and very good security in place.

The Personnel at this location are a real asset to your business. They are very knowledgeable and very professional. They know what is available or can tell you in a matter of minutes. The prices are very reasonable and the storage areas are kept very clean. Most companies could use a couple of employees like these two ladies.

Renee was amazing, the elevator shaft got stuck with my belongings in it, it took a day to get it up and working but she made sure that my things werent touched til I was able to get back up there to unload the shaft. They have such a high rating here because they ask you to leave a 5 star review when you start renting with them. After 1.5 years of renting our things have been ruined by RATS. I even head the pleasure of finding a decomposing rat trapped in our box springs. We aren’t the only ones that have had this problem and the GM wasn’t much help. Chose another storage facility.

I rented the storage in July 2017, and in August 2017 after I had fully move all of my items into the 10 x 30 unit costing me $205.00, the unit was leaking. I told the manager of the leak and she informed me that I would have to come back when its raining, so that she can go up on the roof to see where its leaking. I informed her that she can see the leak from inside my unit and the things that got wet, but she insisted that I had to come back when its raining again.It rained at the location again and the area was wet again, two weeks later, but it wasnt raining at the time. I then informed her assistant and she came and took the photos of the area and the stained insulation on the ceiling. I also told the assistant that the door sweep had to be replaced because the dust was coming down on me everytime I opened the door and that pest could come in at any time. She informed me that they would not replace the door sweep. I guess I wasnt entitled to a free pest unit and dust not falling down on me. What was I paying for again?Two months went by, even hurricane IRMA and still my leak wasnt fixed. The next excuse was that the roofers were in Puerto Rico doing work there.The roof was finally fixed and I was never informed. I called the district manager to complain and to get a credit for the space that I was paying for but couldnt use because of the leak. He didnt want to give me anything but after some persuasion, he agreed to give a $100.00 credit.To add salt to all of my injury and inconveniences they sent me a rent increase in December, it was for $25.00 extra. It wasnt the money but the principle, I felt,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, They also in December added mouse traps to their grounds. When I moved my things into the unit I didnt see any poisons or traps, none was present. Im wondering now at this time what was going on. So because of the rent increase and the traps, I knew it was time for me to vacate.I started moving my items out a piece at a time and inspecting everything to make sure that I didnt take along any rats, mice etc.I never noticed any rat feces until I moved the items out this week. It had rat feces and urine all over the items inside the corners of the unit (I never had to go inside those corners before now). I also had some new shoes chewed up by the rats.I told the district manager about the feces who was present at the time and he said that he couldnt discount me because I was paying less than the rate (I was already moved out approx 75% of my items). He couldnt have been serious, discounting me the unit when I was moving out due to the rats now.I did a survey on their website but no one has called or emailed to give me my first apology. No one have ever apologized from the company for all the negligent behavior, they just gave me side eye looks, like if I was the problem for me trying to stick up for myself. I was paying for the unit, I wasnt getting it for free!Delete review

I was in need of storage, when I moved to Florida in November of 2018, a couple of months before my move I got a 10x10 unit it was a second floor unit. They have a service elevator which made taking my belongings to a second floor much easier. The girls that worked there at the time, could not have been nicer they were informative and always helpful. I then moved a second load is my belongings and needed a bigger unit the girls got me a bigger unit with no problems with the 3 rd load of my belongings, they secured me a outdoor unit which made it easy to get large items directly into the unit without having to go through a doorway, which was very useful at the time. Simply storage has been a blessing to me, the Units are clean and I most appreciate the security. There are camera everywhere on the premesis which being a woman and having to go to the unit often by myself, would normally feel uneasy, but I knew that every minute was being recorded and I felt safe everytime I was there. Thank you, Bonnie and Kiesha for being so nice and accommodating!
