The pastry hit the spot, sadly both out coffees didn’t do anything for us as they are too light and we definitely prefer a bolder coffee. Very friendly staff which is another reason we gave it 4 stars, can’t knock them for our taste in coffee. Line looks long but they do a good job of keeping it moving even though it’s one party at a time.

Super cool hole in the wall coffee shop. The coffee here is very unique - it’s very light and has a floral and sweet taste. The lemon brioche and scone are great also.

This place was amazing! The menu is small and excellent: three types of coffee (black, white, extra) and a changing daily assortment of pastries. The extra was just the right amount of rich and chocolatey, and the French apple cake was the best Ive ever had (and Im not saying this lightly -- apple cake is one of my favorite sweets, and this one was moist and fluffy and absolutely exquisite). I also tried a bite of my friends Hainan chicken croissant and will definitely be back to get a whole one. Highly, highly recommend!

This is a great little coffee spot, and with only 3 choices, it is coffee simplified. I had the Extra (coffee with chocolate oat milk) and it was superb. I liken it only to a smooth flat white. If thats your jam, this is an excellent alternative. It is a bit pricey, but thats the cost of good coffee. Your other choices are black (coffee only) or white (coffee with oat milk). Definitely worth a taste if youre in the area.

Super cute place with great coffee that only serves oat milk. Compare to that extra $1 charge with oat milk else where, this is very reasonably priced. Staffs are super nice and helpful, coffee was great. Ive been stopping by here 2 times a week and never a disappointment.

Our nephew told us about this place and so glad we stopped in, the wait was longer but sure worth it. Right in the middle of silicon valley and such a tiny, friendly spot. He even knows my nephew and his partner!I dont usually drink coffee thus have the milk with chocolate, asking to make it less sweet, was assured as such and it wasnt at all, which I like. My daughter has same but with coffee mixed for another option. My wife likes her coffee super hot and was satisfied.Got my sweet from pastries they offer so our morning in Palo Alto was completed.

This is the first time I came to tōno coffee project and totally in love with their coffee. They only use oat milk which is my top choice. Not many options on the menu but they make sure theirs are the best. Their latte/white has some unique flavor that I’ve never had at any other coffee shops. Their pastry (I don’t remember the name) is very crispy (glazed) outside and soft inside.During the covid, they require mask and one social bubble (on 7/4/2021) to order and pick up at the window. I respect and like their rules because only people behave like this can prevent the spread of the virus and get us back to normal sooner. The staff were very friendly and tried to make every customer happy. I will definitely come back soon!

Amazing latte and almond brittle! Probably best latte I have ever tasted in the US. It may seem expensive, but the minimalist vibe was so worth it. Super friendly staff and cute place. Wish I could sit to enjoy and be present with my latte.

Disgusting! Beware! No real milk... and they won’t tell you this when you order. Their menu online even says “Milk”. But they only serve oat milk. 🤮 If they want to serve only vegan options, that’s great, but at least be upfront about what you are selling. Poor business practice. Sorry guys. I won’t return or recommend.

Easily some of the best coffee in the Bay Area! Coffee is always wonderful and thoughtfully prepared, plus they also carry great pastries. Menu is concise and they only use oat milk. My favorite thing to get is a hot mocha.

Very California casual. Coffee served out of the side window of a classic vintage single-story Californian house. Excellent, mellow, low bitter coffee. Small sit-down patio.
