Docs are fantastic, techs very good, all fantastically nice and proficient. The exam, and explanation of results is ideal.Then the sales pitch starts, feel bad for these folks, really, insurance dictates the sale most often.

Loved my visit to Lighthouse today! The whole team is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. Janelle was exceptionally well informed in all areas and was able to easily explain to me what all the machines do as part of my routine eye exam which provided me with a high level of confidence during my visit. Dr. Bui showed exemplary service and knowledge when providing me with my first prescription. Casey and Peyton were both very helpful in picking out my first frame. Ill definitely be coming back here again!

This is the best eye doctor I’ve ever been to! They were super attentive and chatty which made me very comfortable. They explained everything to me and really took the time to understand my needs. Even the main doctor changed out my contacts until I found the perfect fit. They are the absolute best and I won’t be going to any eye doctor other than them.

Ive been coming here for about 4 years now and both Dr. Bui and Dr. Nguyen are so friendly, knowledgeable, and always answer all my questions. Their technicians and CSR staff are awesome as well. It was actually a really nice visit. Despite the 58 minute drive I have to make, it’s well worth it! Dr. Nguyen is very friendly and made my first contact experience way less frightening than I thought it’d be. I can’t remember the name of the nurse(?) who did my tests and taught me how to put contacts in, but she was absolutely a joy‼️ She made what’s usually an awkward experience at other places into a chill environment where we could have light conversation freely. All in all it was a great experience and I don’t mind the gas money it’ll cost for my appointments.

As a family physician, I know something about the operation of a medical practice. I found the whole experience at Lighthouse Eye Care to be very smooth. I’ve had to wear glasses for many years and have often been frustrated that my vision wasn’t sharper. This time Dr Minh Nguyen nailed it. My vision at a distance is the best I can recall now. And I can see the font on my laptop computer more clearly. I like that they added blue tint to my new glasses also, as I’m on the computer all day, like many of us. I also liked how my eyes did not need to be dilated, as their retinal camera avoids that annoying procedure. Their office is very high-tech and everything was done in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.

Loved my first visit here with Dr.Diana & Casey . They really were very attentive to my concerns & took great care of me.

The service is great. My only complaint is that I think the automated text system could use an update that automatically reminds you of the time and date of the appointment at least of few hours before hand. If I had not written down my appointment time and date when scheduling I would have missed my appointment because I did not get any reminder texts/emails from their automate system.

Everyone there was extremely nice and take care of you. I felt like a person not a number and that makes a difference. They use a mixture of physical media and digital technology to diagnose and figure out what is best for you. I look forward to getting my new glasses in about a week.

I just had my diabetic eye exam yesterday and I tell you this team is so well organised they always have a smile on their face the ready to explain everything and the provider took the time to explain every test that he had done so I would understand better the health of my eyes in what I needed to do. I recently moved to Plano and needed to find a new eye doctor. This past week I had my annual appointment and was very please with the service. Location is very clean and inviting. Staff is friendly and personable. Both doctors were knowledgeable and answered all my questions without hesitation. Lighthouse dental #100 Independence parkway, plano, tx. Today. On time to the appointment for a well visit.1. Doctor didnt introduce her name.2. No Dilation due to COVID-19 to avoid crowding. (Not your fault still consumes my yearly free well visit)3. Optomap was suggested as an alternate with copay. (could have mentioned over phone and I couldve saved a drive and a day off)4. Asked if I need contacts and it has copay she said.5. Took my glasses and said didnt know if my glasses had blue light filter and said I could add it.6. I said I need to make a quick home call to see what services I need. I was asked to go out and talk on phone and rejoin in the walk-in Queue. How rude !!! This is the point of disappointment.7. All above happened before SHE checked my eyes.Result: I had to cancel my appointment and leave never to come back. I had the feel of Doctor urging me to go out of the appointment / couldnt serve or talk politely to me. Sorry I had to write in interest of other patients.

This was the easiest and most pleasant eye doctor visit I’ve had in while. The office is pristine and comfortable and had only positive energy. The doctor was friendly, professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. Every member of the staff was helpful and genuinely seemed to be glad to be there. They did such a great job helping me select my new glasses that I came back the next day to order sunglasses. Plenty of frames to choose from and they were reasonably priced. I made sure to schedule an eye appointment at Lighthouse Eye Care.Dr. Nguyen answered all my questions and made sure to include me in the decision process of choosing my contacts.Janelle, the technician, kindly explained every instrument and documented any concern I had with my eyes.Elizabeth and Peyton were thorough to explain my bill. Along with giving me quotes for purchasing contacts. Because I do not live in the DFW area, they were also kind enough to mail me my contacts to my home address.I love this office! Dr. Nguyen and his staff are so fun whilst super professional. The office has the latest and greatest machines to perform detailed scans of the eyes.

My family does not have a good experience with Dr. Bui and the clinic. Our overall feeling is that they are trying to request every possible charge without solving the problem. My daughter had an Ortho-K program with the clinic by paying. The lens did not work well from the first day we got them. Her eyesight was only corrected to 20/40. The doctor asked us to stay with them without doing anything. He said it was because the lens were dirty and charged us with protein cleaning in June. (We worked with another clinic before and a typical practice is to replace the poor-performing lens) One month later, my daughter still could not see things clearly. My wife brought her in today for a regular check, which should be covered by the annual package ($1600 for the first year and quite a few hundreds for following years). Again, Bui did not do anything for the problem. However, he said it is an diagnosis and still wanted to charge more without giving any description other than a normal eye drop. The doctor even insisted that my daughter can see things clearly but it was not true. They also asked us to make another appointment for this afternoon again, saying it was better to check in the afternoon. Ironically, they said morning was better one month ago when we visited in the afternoon. Similar things happened to me. I came in for a regular annual check but the doctor insisted on me to schedule another appointment for any diagnosis. I never went back. Not sure how true are all these positive feedback. We are looking at elsewhere.Added: It has nothing to do with the insurance policy, but with the attitude to solve patients problems. We came to you, we trusted you, and you failed to do anything to help my family members except for asking for extra payment. I know COVID-19 gives all business owners a hard time. But please at least respect your career and do your own job. We are not happy, we share our experience and we walk away.

Terrible experience. They can mess up even a simple eye exam. I went there for a routine eye exam. They gave me what they read in the computer, and increased my astigmatism (cylinder) from 1.5 to 2.25. For a 40 year old, this is a drastic change. I had 2 months of headaches, and pain. I did not know what was going on, and went back there 3 times. Finally, in the 3rd visit, after 2 months, they realized that they made a mistake in the prescription. This mistake cost me 2 months of headaches.Good location, nice clinic, but incompetent doctors. Even Walmart Eye Exam is better than this place.

Very friendly and personable staff. They inform me if there is a concern/question about the insurance and very honest and open about the procedure. I love talking to them. Doctor Bui goes out of his way to find me well fitted contacts and explains things in very detail so that I know the differences between trial lenses and know what to expect from them if/when I try the new type. I highly recommend.

I was examined by Dr. Diana Lee and was very impressed with her professionalism and well and her friendliness. She took the time to fully explain the examination and listen to all my questions. I usually get nervous when I see a new doctor but I was completely at ease. She has wonderful bedside manners. She suggested I try a new type of contact lens for my astigmatism and so far I love them. The practice is well-designed with the top of the line equipment. The location is very convenient to get to. I would highly recommend this practice to all my friends and family.

I had my first visit with Dr Diana Lee last week. Ive had bad experiences with eye doctors previously and was a little nervous going into my appointment. Lighthouse eye care was the first doctor to pop up on my covered providers with my new insurances and the ratings were wonderful so I gave it a shot and Im so happy I decided to come here! The office was very clean, and the staff was very prompt and polite. Diana was wonderful, she was very thorough throughout her time with me during my appointment. Im happy to say that I have found my permanent eye doctor! I told my family about my visit here and theyre already trying to schedule a visit here! Excellent overall. Dr. Bui did a thorough exam for both eye glasses and contacts and informed me of the current health of my eyes. He was very thorough and was very meticulous and attentive. Office staff were all friendly and knowledgeable and were great in assisting me with choosing frames as well as giving me a break down of all the costs. Fantastic place. I wasn’t very happy about having to wait until they finished a staff meeting to start my eye exam. They could have called me and pushed my appointment back 20-30 minutes. But once I got in, it was a much more comprehensive eye exam than I thought it would be, which was very comforting to me. The receptionist was freaky good at helping me pick out the right frames. I think that was actually the most impressive part. Very pleased in the end.

The doctor did a very detailed eye exam and enlightened me more on macula degeneration and computer/tablet I did not know. Fast, clean, efficient, friendly, and through.

This was my first visit. The clinic itself is wonderful with an amazing front desk staff. I would have given a 5 star on this review however, Dr. Nguyen was one of the most unfriendly and condescending providers Ive ever met. I felt I spent more valuable time with the staff than I did with him. He seemed to be rushing to type and move on to the next patient barely giving me eye contact as I spoke.I did agree to schedule a new appointment for my daughter and my return visit only because the young lady at the front desk was so kind and apologetic and offered to switch providers for my daughter and myself for next year and give another provider a try. My 6 year old is nervous about getting eye exams and she would have been scheduled to see Dr. Nguyen and I said absolutely not. I normally do not give reviews, but as a professional nurse in management, I would never permit my providers to treat my patients in such a manner. I hope whomever manages the clinic will discuss his attitude to help promote the business and not hinder it in the future.

I work for a company that is in the same building as Lighthouse Eye Care so I figured it would be convenient. The staff were courteous and ensured that I received my contacts in a timely fashion. I have no complaints and will be back.

My daughter injured her eye last week and it wasnt healing so I googled local eye doctors and Lighthouse Eye Care had great reviews. We called the office and they were able to get her within the hour even though we werent patients yet. They were very helpful and the Dr. Nguyen was great! He checked my daughters eye to make sure it wasnt scratched and diagnosed her with sty and gave us a prescription to help take care of it since it was painful, swollen and starting to have discharge. Turns out through trying to treat the swelling we inadvertently caused the sty to develop. It was her first experience with the eye doctor and so glad it went well and thankful they got us in so quickly. I had driven by the building so many times on our way to the Neighborhood Walmart next door and had no idea the building was full of doctors I have been searching for (dermatologist, eye doctor, internal imaging place)! We definitely recommend Dr. Nguyen and Lighthouse Eye Care!

My contact lens ripped and got stuck somewhere where I couldnt see it in my eye. I went to Lighthouse Eye Care to get it taken out. The looked at my eye, even using blue light, but said there was nothing there. My eye felt itchy and irritated. I was told this was due to an irritated portion of my eye and would to away. 4 days later my eye was still feeling the same and I rubbed my eye and found a piece of a contact fell from someplace around my eyelashes. The uncomfortable feeling was now gone in my eye..Lighthouse had one job to do, get the contact out of my eye, they didnt do it! I was charged $130 and sent me home. As I later found out the contact was in fact still in my eyes for the 4 days.I called and told them what happened and they said they would let me know if something changed. They asked me if I wanted to see the Dr. No, I didnt need the Dr help now, I needed when the contact was in my eye! So I paid $130 for nothing!
