Has helped with my dry eyes recommending better eye drops over the counter than what I was using, got me a better frame that is more toddler resistant and the staff (all always friendly) helped me navigate through all insurance and cost of each item, every step of the way.

I have been a patient at Vision Source with Dr. Danny Malone for over 25 years. Vision Source has machines and technicians to check everything from retinal health to dry eye care. I have dry eyes and I come to Planos Vision Source from Galveston. (333 miles) to get punctals to help my dry eyes. Great Care and Glasses Service as well!

Both my daughters have their eyes checked here, we really like how thorough the exam is. We will continue to go to Vision Source for our yearly eye exam.

Horrible experience on the cost . I have both vision plan and medical insurance . I went for vision check and ended up spending extra $199 for a dry eye evaluation and another $266 for “ temporary” sleeve that Dr Malone kept saying it’s not punctal duct plug. Then after it’s done, he told me I had to go back 2 more times and each time I have to pay $266 again because what was done was a temporary one. This is really a business place, not a health care provider. Then I found out it was punctal duct plug which other doctors may just charge $50. I was told it’s a 3 step procedure, but was not told I had to pay $266 for each step. I even hesitated to have it done for $266 thought it for the whole procedure. Really shocked after I paid $266 and was told to come back and had to pay $266 two more times!Be careful on this place. They are good in taking money out of your pocket!

I HIGHLY recommend Vision Source Plano, and especially Kim for her incredible customer service to me. I was searching for a specific brand and style of eyeglass frames. Even though this location did not carry them, Kim went out of her way to contact their frames distributor to find out where to get the frames. Who takes the time to help customers anymore? Kim and Vision Source Plano, thats who!

Dr Malone and his staff are some of the only people I have met in a long time who actually know what customer service means. After I was referred to them after an extremely traumatic optometrist visit, I have found my eye doctor! I drive out of my way to continue using them because they make me feel like a valued customer. They even remember my name. I would highly recommend the entire staff here at Vision Source.

Five stars! My husband and I have been going to Vision Source Plano for years and have always had a great experience. I work on the computer a lot and do not have great vision. Dr. Malone changed my life when he introduced me to blue tech lenses for my glasses. My productivity has sky rocketed at work thanks to the technology because I dont get as fatigued as easily from eye strain. The whole staff is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about the business. I would definitely recommend them for your eye care needs!

Got Drivers License lenses restriction with them even though never need ones. These guys will definitely heal you till death.

I dont know what the people below are talking about. Dr. Danny Malone is one of the best doctors Ive ever been to. Ive never been ripped off; I dont think Ive ever left the office paying more than 15 bucks. Dr. Malone always takes the time to describe the changes in my prescription. Im changing insurance currently, and my number one criteria is whether or not this office is included under the coverage!

I went to Vision Source Plano for the first time today, and the doctor and staff were so nice and welcoming. Dr. Daniel Malone was very friendly and made you feel comfortable. He took to the time to explain anything I didnt understand, and I didnt feel rushed. The staff were amazing as well, and they made me feel like I had known them for years. I would not be still flying for a living if it wasnt for Dr Malone.When I suffered a retinal detachment he took me through the entire process from surgery to recovery and working with the FAA to get me back in the sky. He personally saved my career and that of several other professional pilots.Dr Malone is without question the best eye Dr I have ever worked with. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you really want to take care of your eyes and if your vision is important to you there is nowhere else that you should go!

I have been seeing Dr Malone for over 15 yrs, maybe even 20. He has always kept his office equipped with the latest technology. His office team from start to finish is friendly, knowledgeable and always meets or exceeds my expectations. I have recommended Dr Malone to several friends and colleagues and no one has been disappointed.

I have to agree with the first review on this one. I have had great eye insurance for the last 10 years. I have never had to pay out of pocket for any of my eye exams. AFTER my insurance paid their part of my exam, the left over charges were $300 that I had to cover! That did not include the glasses and lenses that I also purchased. They have a nice new place with lots of fancy new equipment and tests...and guess what, they are going to try to run you through all of them and overbill you for it. I have eye insurance, not a discount program (I know the difference) and as she was going over my invoice the lady kept saying after my insurance gave me a little discount on this line item, and that line item.... Yea... its not a discount...its that they charge triple the going rate and insurance will only cover a portion of what these jokers are going to charge. Ill never go back, and recommend that you not either.
