Staff was very professional and courtesy. Doctor seems very knowledgeable and took time to explain things plainly.

Doctor is good! No doubt. We were with him for over 6 years for my entire family. The staff has an real attitude problem, they won’t answer phone and their patient scheduling is horrible. This is a pattern noticing for last 3 years, today for 11:30 appointment, We checked in at 11:15, waited until 12:15 then I asked how long the wait is going to take so I can adjust my calendar. The rude response from their manager is another 1.5 hours. There is no courtesy call or an update to the patient waiting for an hour.They really need to work on their patients scheduling or do not over book. The manager thinks she is doing some kind of charity work :-(If you’re scheduling for eye exam better plan for 2 to 2.5 hours with full patience or look for a better place who values customer and their time.

Very friendly staff and doctor. He spends a lot of time checking my eyes and explaining the treatment as Ive had a severe eye irritation due to my job which needs computer work everyday. He also did a lot of examinations.Sher also explained all kind of options I will have for the frames and payments. I would highly recommend Optical Zone for the awesome services!

These people seldom answers the phone and their website is not as efficient as they thought. After requesting for an appointment, no one is sure whether it is confirmed or not. There is no call back or email confirmation. I am truly disappointed. Chances of coming back is slim.Thanks,Sarn

I went into this place figured its a mom and pop place. Which I wanted to give my business too. I asked one of their employees that I have this kind of insurance and would like to see if I can use it here? She replied back to me by saying you need to call them and find out what your insurance covers. I said oh ok I guess you really dont want my business. I went down the street to a competitor and gave them my business. I didnt know that I had to look up my coverages for my insurance. Looks like I wont be coming here anytime soon.

Ok so where should i start! Its local in Plano!Excellent customer service provided by their entire staff! Specially Richard is absolutely amazing! Very patient i had a million questions regarding coverage and cost and he patiently answered all of them. Doctor is very nice does not make you feel rushed gives you time needed and answers all your questions and concerns. Very good selection of glasses. Kid friendly. The office has very vibrant and positive energy.They are very comparable in terms of pricing to other local vendors and warehouses. Would highly recommend it:-)

I’ve been going here for years and the Dr. and all staff are wonderful! They are personable, efficient, and send out plenty of reminders for appointments. They also really take the time to explain the cost of everything in an understandable way. Just an overall great experience!

They NEVER answer their phones! They don’t get back to via the forms you fill out online. I’ve been calling for hours today trying to reach someone and every time I get a recorded message saying they are busy assisting other patients. 7 times I’ve called. I’ve waited 30 mins in between. Either the phones are down or they don’t want to answer. We’ve been coming here for years and can’t even get an appointment.

Needed a screw tightened, they suggested i adjust my glasses as well. Crazed the lenses in the process, breaking them. Came in the next day to discuss a solution. They took no responsibility and had the audacity to tell me if i scheduled a NEW appointed i could BUY new glasses and lenses. Will never go here again...unbelievable.

There are tons of better places to get eye wear! Beware!!! Dr Joshi and his managers are highly unethical.

Say NO to Optical Zone! My family came in here last week and the doctor AND manager were both rude!! I brought it up to one of the employees (who didn’t know what she was doing. Where is the training??) and she just shrugged and said that’s who she was as a manager.

This place is way over priced and the manager is rude as can be! Go to Visionworks or America’s Best for better service and pricing!

Extremely efficient! I arrived at my 10:00 eye examination at around 9:30, and I was out of the building by 10:15.

I found Optical zone store. We are very glad we did.I had a great experience mainly because Jada made sure everything was perfect . Seriously good customer service. I ordered another pair and we will be using them in future.

Dr Joshi and Sher run an uncommonly professional and patient/customer focused optometry practice. My wife and I have been patients since 2008 and could not be happier with the care we have consistently received before, during, and after each visit. I wear bifocals, and as my vision has changed over the years, Dr Joshis updated prescriptions have always been spot on, and Sher has always been exceptional at helping me find just the right frame and combination of lens features.

Optical Zone always has customer service in mind, always willing to help out wherever they can. Their staff is always courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

The front office is very pathetic and very lame. They gave me appointment on 11.30 AM on Saturday. I took appointment on Wednesday that week. When I arrived on time, they take many minutes to get to me. They said it is not this saturday but another (next) saturday. I mentioned they did not tell me the date and I was left wondering how I am to imagine what they had in mind. Though I distinctly member it was for that saturday only as I took appointment in that office as I came in to look for glasses and I was very clear about what I was requesting. Meanwhile they took in another lady even though her name was not in register. The other guy at front office mentions he forgot to add her in system. Unlucky for me, he does not remember or apologize.

This is the first eye doc I have ever met that actually talks about things instead of trying to baffle you with technical terms. They dont push anything.

Rude staff claiming that we already picked up our glasses and she handed it to us. Never ever going again
