Hansen put on some new doors about a year and a 1/2 ago. Very pleased with the install and doors! Jeremy was spot on with superior customer service.Had a problem right before this holiday weekend Memorial Day. Nothing to do with his work, one of my motors had a problem. I called 1st thing Friday AM. Jeremy stopped by early on his way into his office!! Diagnosed, returned quickly with new motor to replace my 20 year old motor. They are just great, we had a problem with our garage door and they came the same day and installed a new one. That was a couple weeks ago, last Friday it stopped working and we didn’t know why; next morning he was here and explained to me the that the power surge protector from the outlet had caused the issue. I raised the rating to 3 stars due to his issuance of the refund and for his gracious follow up to remedy the situation.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The service was fine, the tech was courteous and efficient, as the fix was pretty straight-forward for my overhead garage door that had a broken motor arm. My low star rating was due to a sense of misrepresentation in the price quoted for this service. I sent photos of the broken metal rod so that it was clear what was needed. I spoke to the office and asked for a quote for the job to be sent via text. The text arrived stating a price of $129.95 and was detailed enough to specify full safety inspection, tuneup and heavy lubrication. This includes tightening the springs and fixing the motor arm. At the completion of the job, the invoice total was $192.95. When I asked why the price differential, I was told that they also charge for a service visit and taxes. I asked why this wasnt included in the price when he sent me the quote after our phone call. His response: well, its on our website. I dont think that is an honest approach to quoting for a job. At the end of the day, I recommend to others to be sure to ask for the FULL PRICE inclusive of everything so they are not surprised with the final bill. This is skilled labor that I cannot perform myself, and I am happy to pay for it. But, I am not pleased with feeling misled.

Five star service.Our garage door wouldn’t open two days ago, so I called them in the morning and they promptly came that day for a free consultation. Jeremy is very knowledgeable and probably one of the friendliest people I’ve met. He explained everything and patiently answered all my questions. Garage door working perfectly now. Price was fair and included a 3 year warranty on all parts and labor. Will definitely call them if I need anything in the future and highly recommend to my friends.

I found it hard to believe that every review was a 5 star but after reading them I figured I would take a chance. I’m glad I did. They deserve every one of those stars. From Adam’s good customer service on the phone to Jerry, who showed up to fix our broken spring, I was impressed. I never felt taken advantage of. Jeremy went over every single thing so I felt comfortable with the cost and the work that needed to be done. He even tightened down some wires that had nothing to do with the service call. I called this morning bc my garage had been broken for about a week or so. They were so nice and talked me through troubleshooting at no charge and it’s fixed! I’ll definitely keep their number but wow what great customer service. You can tell they really care about making this the easiest and most efficient fix possible!

Jeremy was friendly and knowledgeable. He replaced the springs in our 25 year old door and pointed out a few other parts that were worn. He gave me the option to replace and even suggested some I could do on my own. Prices were good and came with a 3 year warranty. I would use them again and highly recommend Hanson Overhead.

I called Hanson today, the day after I found out about a broken spring. I spoke with Jeremy who is part owner and he was a great and nice guy. He had a fairly full schedule as it is Good Friday, but was able to fit us in at the end of the day. They had a few jobs that went over so Jeremy came out along with 2 of his guys and they knocked out a conversion in about 30 minutes.The guys were all amazing and very friendly. They warranty their labor for 3 years and use heavy duty parts that should last quite a while. Their pricing was also very competitive and we dont have a broken door over Easter weekend.So very HIGHLY recommended!!!!

Highly recommend. They installed a garage door 3 years ago for me. During the past month as I was selling my home, I scheduled a tuneup. The day of my move, my garage door quit working. I called in a panic. They made it a point to accommodate my situation and came by by within an hour! That’s incredible service! I had knocked the sensor with boxes & their quick repair was a relief. Was having programming new car to garage. Also, while trying to do this erased all remotes plus keyless pad. After being frustrated with this I called Mr. Hanson. He was very polite and was at my door in about 30 minutes. Took care of all my problems, plus gave some advice for future. Very highly recommend using this company. The owner was FANTASTIC!

Torsion spring broke on my 11 year old garage door. Called three overhead companies with Hanson the only one offering to send a tech out within the hour.Andy arrived within the hour, reviewed the door and system and offered three alternatives. Basic was to simply replace the spring up to replacing most moving parts including spring, rollers, cables, bearings and drums. Since door was 11 years old, and after I saw the superior replacement parts vs the basics which were originally installed, I opted for all suggested replacements. (the existing cables were not showing signs of wear however I chose to replace anyway since all the other parts are new). All at a very reasonable cost.Andy had the door operating once again within 45 minutes. Very professional. Knows his stuff for sure. Highly recommend Hanson Overhead for any and all garage door needs.

Very pleased with Hanson Garage Door Service. Had a malfunctioning garage door, called the company on a Monday morning, who installed the garage door system, explained can not open close my garage door, can not park my car in garage. I was told nobody would come to repair till Friday afternoon. Really?!! Then called Hanson Garage Door Service at 11 AM Monday, spoke with the owner, who said Mr. Howard, your garage door will be fixed before you have dinner tonight, and sure enough it was. Professional, polite, efficient, knowledgeable. I highly recommend Hanson, and will only use this company for all future garage door service and installation.

I contacted Hanson today and they had an available appointment. Then sent two techs out and within an hour they were done. These two worked together well, liked what they do, are very experienced, and just plain fun to watch and hear how they treated each other. I could not recommend Hanson any higher. Spring on door broke Thursday afternoon around 330 pm. I called Hanson and spoke with Jeremy and we scheduled appt for Friday afternoon. Jeremy and his partner arrived timely and raised door so I could remove my car. Scheduled appt for Monday. Arrived timely and repairs were completed within the hour and offered advise on how to maintain door with regular maintenance . Very professional and highly recommend.

1 month ago - The spring on the garage door broke and we could not raise the door. It was on a Saturday morning and we called Hanson not expecting a quick response. Within 2 hours, Buddy showed up and promptly went to work. Buddy was courteous, very knowledgeable, and replaced the spring and found other issues which contributed to the broken spring. The price was reasonable and we are very happy with the repair experience and would recommend Hanson to anyone.

Called on a Tuesday at 4:45pm when most people are going home and they had their senior technicians at my house the very next day. They said they would be at my home between 3:00 and 5:00pm and they showed up at 3:05pm. They not only did a safety inspection, diagnosed my problem, prepared a written quote, but also installed a new main spring and replaced all of the rollers on my garage door and were gone by 4:25pm. I called 4 repair companies and left messages and none returned my call. Hanson answered the phone, the man was professional and told me when to expect the repairmen. Ronny and Buddy arrived on time and were professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable with many years of experience. Within an hour, my spring and rollers were replaced and now my door performs like new!My problem was that the door no longer went up/down and before it stopped working, it clanged and banged with much noise. I cannot express how incredible this company is! I destroyed my door with a garage full of boxes after just moving in. The owner came immediately that evening to see if he could at least get the garage door down for the night and when that was an impossibility because the job obviously needed a second person, he stayed to help obscure the boxes in the garage. They fit me in the next day and somehow took a completely mangled door hanging by a cable to a fully functional door which sounds better opening and shutting than it had before. I cannot express how helpful, professional, and just plain kind these folks are.Jeremy, the owner, is beyond description with customer care! I highly recommend this company. I had a problem with my garage door not opening. I chose Hanson Overhead Garage Door because of their excellent reviews. And then the snow came! Even though his trucks were blocked in by icy roads, the owner of the company came in his own car and was able to fix the problem. He apologized for being late due to the weather and refused to take payment because it was a quick fix and he came later than the scheduled appointment time. He was prompt in returning calls and keeping me up to date on his arrival on a hectic snowy day! I will definitely use this company the next time I have a garage door issue. Their service lived up to their 5 star rating!

Very professional company. Someone actually answered the phone, not a phone recorder, voice mail, or someone promising to call right back and not doing so. They had me explain my needs, gave me a fair price and stuck to it. They sent out techs that day and they fixed the problem. The techs ( Bud and Ronnie ), were very down to earth and friendly. On the other hand they were also very professional and did a great job. Will call them back for the next two garage doors when they need repaired. I highly recommend them.
