The team here is impeccable, I can only imagine that someone would give this place less than 3 stars because maybe the rate for the repair was far too high than what they can afford. But really thats a problem for the customer, obviously never buy something that you cant afford am I right or am I still right?Dont mind past & future reviews about timing either. It doesnt make sense to rush Caliber Employees when theyre focused on providing quality for each & every customers car, including yours. No argument will ever be valid enough given that it would risk quality control.This team & location is definitely scalable if they can maintain their timing & quality builds as they grow because their builds are showroom quality. Eric and staff at caliber collision went far and above when performing the repair my car. There was much more damage that I could see initially when I brought the car there. They took care of what I could see and what I could not see. I was very impressed with the results and the Outlook of the vehicle overall. Even though the vehicle had to be moved to another location from Plano to richardson, the car was able to be completed within 7 days from start to finish. I highly recommend this place. Great staff and friendly service.

Had our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder in for body repairs after a horrible accident. Cody and the team completed the repairs perfectly, had it back to us earlier than expected and kept us posted every step of the way. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for car repairs!

Mike Garth went above and beyond and made sure I knew what all they was doing to my vehicle. Mike even took care of the extra expenses that occured because of the delay of getting my car ready. Please go see them if you ever need your car fix after an accident. My car looks like I just got it from the car dealer no dents or scratches and it looks brand new. I took my car to Caliber Collision based on the location and previous user reviews. I can express enough about how well I was treated and how the overall experience here was fantastic in everyway. My specific car was assigned to Erik who was a pleasure to work with. When I arrived he was polite, helpful and reassured me that they could fix the damage in a timely manner and that he would keep me informed of the progress of my car. After I signed the paperwork I needed to he went ahead and called Enterprise and they brought the car right over. I asked him about returning the car and he said that he would return it when the work was done.About a week passed and my car was ready to go. I went and picked up my car at which time I noticed a knick in my paint job. I failed to mention it on the spot and drove the car home. I called them up and spoke with Erik who said he had pictures of before and after and the knick did not show up in his pictures but he wanted to make it right and told me to bring the car back a few days later to get the knick fixed at no cost. I think most places could have fought me the fact I did not mention it at the time of pick up.He said the work would take about 2 days to fix but it was done in just a day and I now how my car back looking better than ever. Overall I cannot recommend this place enough. Every aspect and interaction with Erik and his team was amazing and I will always recommend my friends and family to Caliber. Thank you to Erik and the whole team there!

Took new ram Laramie to them after getting hit. Truck was 3 months old and in like new condition. The initial estimate was 30k to repair. When I picked up the truck the bill to the insurance was 8k. Three of the parts were never replaced but billed to the insurance company. Of those three was a $700 head lamp assembly. See pics.. not only was it not replaced they broke the retaining clip rather than reaching in the fender to release it.Pictures of paint, rust, and over spray are after 18 months after the repair.I spoke with the location after repair and they said they would fix it all..New center caps for the wheels that were lost in the shop, replace the head lamp, fix the paint, and etc.. . There were seven other items on my list I am not going to go into in this review.They put me off for several months when I tried to make an appointment and said I just needed to drop it off and wait. I was not able to do that because I make my living with my truck.

Mark was absolutely horrible in repairing our car. We needed a replacement on the bottom trim rubber piece; he quoted us a price. Upon installing, Mark did not install any of the hooks or pieces, merely pushing the trim onto the car, which subsequently fell off in the next few days. He refused to replace it and claimed that we didnt ask for it to be hooked into place, which makes no sense given that we asked him to fix the whole trim. Would not recommend in the future.

They fixed my truck and got me back on the road quick.

Took my 14 Jeep Wrangler in for a soft top & center console replacement after a break in. Dropped it off before opening on Friday after being told itll be a one day job. Got a confirmation text later that day saying it would be done that day. Gave them a call an hour before they close to check up and Im told that the center console we ordered doesnt fit, we have to order a different one & oh we dont work on Saturdays, well have to keep the car over the weekend and get it done Monday. Monday rolls around and at 6:30 PM(an hour after closing) they give me a call to let me know that they are struggling to get the new top on and the new console lid doesnt even have a locking cylinder(which is standard across almost every wrangler ever made). A one day job turns into 5, new top was already roughed up, I have to go out of my pocket on a rental car for their screw ups, AND the repair cost was $1k over the estimate. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.Edit: found out after leaving that even after all this time, they didnt even put the soft top on right and i will have to have this taken off and put on correctly once again.

Excellent prompt service. Advisor recommended a simple quick fix for my teenager’s car. Performed the fix on site. I was in and out within 20 min.We also had a great experience in March with my husband’s truck. Verypleased.

I couldnt sleep last night after a small driving error. I showed early to my appointment at Caliber collision Richardson in the rain this morning. Referred to William the manager. I was greeted instantly by a young lady then William came out. In less than 15 minutes he did an AMAZING job on my New F150. I was blown away at his professionalism and expertise. Rear ended a car and needed some work done. My wife had to handle the whole process while I was at work. They communicated with her, had a rental waiting for her and kept me in constant communication during the whole time it was in the shop. Didn’t have to think or stress about it at all. They even detailed my car when they gave it back.

They did a good job. We have done work with them before. Car was clean when received. Everyone was very professional and nice.

Replaced decal 1st grade material. Not only was it offset from the other side by a longshot, it wasnt even fully stuck to the door. Would never do business here again if the world depended on it.

I have used Caliber Collision, Richardson, twice. The first time following an accident when they replaced my back bumper. Bryn, and the office staff were professional and friendly. Their dealings with insurance was efficient and my car looked like new. The second time, they replaced rear and fog lights in just a few hours. I highly recommend this establishment.

I’ve been to caliber collision in the past up in Frisco and I had a horrible experience so I was hesitant about bringing my vehicle here, but Mario handled everything perfectly and on time as he said he would they gave me back my car filled up and clean the inside. They tried to sell me a part that they would use to fix my Cadillac and wanted to charge me almost 500.00 for the part. tail light assembly which i found online for around a 150.00 and my friend helped me put it on in about 4 minutes. It works great and looks great.. I dont like bashing these people but they wanted close to 800.00 dollars and we fixed it for 150.00 in under 5 minutes. Theres making a profit and then theres gouging....

My 2018 F150 4X4 was hit in the bed from the side. Caliber fixed it on time and within estimate. Looks like new.

Formerly Herbs Paint & BodyIf I could give zero stars i would. Worst experience with a body shop EVER!Was scheduled to start repairs on a Tuesday morning. Dropped the car off Monday night for a 2 day, minor repair job. Never heard from them on Wednesday. Called on Thursday and they did not even know the car was there! Apologized profusely and said they would expedite it and it would be ready Friday afternoon. Called Friday after not hearing anything from them. Service advisor was not there, so I spoke to a manager. Who had no clue what was going on with my car. She called back and said advisor dropped the ball, but they would have it ready for me on Monday. Apologized and gave the party line of how important their customers were. Right! Monday I called again. Still not ready!!! They have now had my car for a week for a 2 day job! Tuesday I go to pick up the car. The car had been damaged while in their care. Paint was peeled off the trunk and the wheels, and the moulding around the doors was all scuffed and dull. This was not the condition it was dropped off in! I refused to accept the car until those things were fixed. Wednesday - car not ready. Same blah, blah, blah - you are an important customer, etc. What BS! Car was finally ready on Thursday, a full week after it was supposed to be ready. This was a self-pay, not insurance. Dont take your car there if you are self-paying for sure. They may be better with the insurance companies, but Ill never take a car there again. They do not care about the custoer.Even the service tech said things were better with Herbs, but Caliber was the worst.

Please AVOID bringing any vehicle to this location. My vehicle was taken apart and NOT PUT BACK TOGETHER the way it was when I dropped it off. I couldn’t even drive it off the premises i guess they knew i would notice right away something was not right with my car if not i would’ve asked for them to complete the job first! They kindly left me the screws inside my car so that I can finish putting the car back myself. The technician that handled my vehicle was Eduardo. Thank you very much for making this situation even more difficult than what it is!

When i tell you i didn’t have to lift a finger to get the best services at collision caliber richardson! they picked my car up from my home on- time to take in for repairs. mark taylor kept me in the loop and communication with me everything that was going on with my audi a4. my bumper spoiler and front fender was damaged dreadfully. upon my pick up, i noticed a brand new paint job, new tires, and new bumper and fender. it looks like a new car because i told mark taylor i didn’t want the spoiler to be replaced, a lot cleaner and sleek. i’m so appraised and pleased with the body work they completed. i left the rental car there for enterprise to pick up which was a extra star because uber rides and getting someone to be on your time can be stressful. they made my experience stress- free. thank you all!

Much faster service than big chains I’ve worked with. They got me in the day I walked in and got everything done faster than I expected. They have great service everyone I worked with was very nice, and gave me updates on my car. The workmanship is great and so was the customer service. I 10/10 recommend going here. They even drove me home free of charge. Their branded pens are also really nice, which is a little irrelevant but I use the one they gave me every day.

My car was damaged in a collision that wasnt my fault, so I put a claim on the insured driver. Caliber Collision was near me, and I hadnt used them before. Caliber called within a couple hours of the claim being accepted and set up an appointment. I dropped off my car, and they have a relationship with Enterprise a few doors down, so getting the rental was easy. My car was in their shop for 1 week, which is as fast as Ive ever experienced with repairs like these. The whole time it was in, Blake, my service advisor sent me texts telling me what phase of the process it was in. When they called me to come get it, I couldnt leave work that Friday to get it. I got a text Saturday morning (today) from Paul up at the shop telling me he was working on Saturday, and I could pick it up. I just got it back a few minutes ago. The repairs are perfect - looks new. They even repaired some damage to the wheel that I didnt see before. I dropped the keys off for the rental, and Paul sent me on my way, very easy. 10/10 would use them again in a heartbeat.

Knowing that I had a negative experience before at a different Caliber location, Caliber and I discussed having repairs made on my vehicle. After receiving a quote for the repairs I decided to go with Caliber for the minor repairs needed. It took 5 days. Upon arriving to pick up my vehicle, processing the payment and pulling the vehicle around, the receptionist informed us that the payment was not possible to process because the internet had been down all morning. Instead of calling to inform us about this, the receptionist then decided to reach out the following day to ANOTHER Caliber location to have them take our payment. Our payment was processed and yet again instead of calling to confirm having our car dropped off at our home, Caliber proceeded with the drop off without our knowledge. I was surprised to find the vehicle dropped off AT MY NEIGHBORS HOUSE with the keys under their mat BECAUSE THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION THAT THE DROP OFF WAS HAPPENING. Upon getting the car back, we then found that the job was not even completed. Ive tried communicating with all representatives at this Caliber location and have gotten nowhere. DO NOT CHOOSE CALIBER COLLISION!

No orange peel. Im not sure what the other reviewers were complaining about, and maybe my experience is different because I wasnt in a hurry. The staff replaced an aftermarket, impossible-to-replace (well, possible but it takes, literally, one year to get) bumper on my track car with a stock unit, as I requested. The job was turned around in three days, including the time it took for the adjuster to come by. I did not make an appointment beforehand, and they were kind enough to store the car while waiting. (This takes space, which costs them money - but I was not charged for this.) The new bumper matches the rest of the car perfectly, until you see the orange peel in the *other* panels. In short: they did such a great job that it highlights the flaws in the rest of the car. They also went through great pains to get the car to me in the middle of nowhere. Awesome work, as always - third car Ive had at this location - and wonderful service. Id recommend Herbs over Stuarts any time. And Caliber sucks.

While there were a two issues during the repair process, Caliber Collision in Richardson did a good job repairing my vehicle. Bryn did an excellent job handling the issues.One issue was that the check engine light was still on when I went to pickup my vehicle. It had come on after the accident. Caliber Collision indicated that the light had not been on when they completed the repairs. Based upon the check engine light error codes, Caliber Collision believe it was a battery issue and my insurance company declined to cover the repair. It was the end of the day of Friday so I took my car home for the weekend. Caliber Collision and I escalated to my insurance company but they still declined to pay. Caliber Collision offered to replace the battery themselves. I ended up taking the car back to Caliber Collision and they determined that the MAP sensor had been damaged in the collision and my insurance company finally paid this part of the claim.The second issue was that my newly replaced car bumper was damaged while it was offsite at Caliber Collisions mechanic having the check engine light issue diagnosed. Caliber Collision quickly re-repaired my bumper.I appreciate all the work that Bryn did to fix my vehicle. I would use Caliber Collision in Richardson again.

I’m so impressed with the service and professionalism I received here. Took my wife’s vehicle that had been rear ended Monday morning at 7:00AM. Rear bumper was damaged, broken reflectors and a caved in lift gate. Their estimated turnaround time was three or four days. Same day around 5:19PM I get a phone call from them and I was expecting to get an update.... Nope they called to tell me the vehicle was ready for pickup. I had to do a second take to make sure I heard him right. They waited for me past five thirty to make sure I was able to pick up the vehicle. I realize this may not always be the case but I have never ever had a repair made this fast. I am extremely happy with the service I received from the moment I got my quote until the minute I handed my rental car keys to them. Thank you guys for a great experience!!

I had just bought a new Infinity QX50 and when pulling it into the garage I scraped the door on the frame of the house. I was so distraught and called them for an estimate. When I got there, Blake Oliver buffed it to see the damage underneath. There was no damage. He was so kind and did not even charge me! I will use them again if the need arises.

My car was here for 4 weeks (for a 10 day job) and I was never contacted about its status. Once or twice a week i called and asked when it will be ready, and the last two weeks they have said either the end of the week or the beginning of the next. Those days go by without contact from them at all. When it was completed the work was high quality but the extra time in the shop cost extra from the rental car.

Good people to help you get your vehicle back on the road

DO NOT GO HERE!If I could leave negative stars I would. I took my car into the McKinney location in early June for a hail repair estimate. This was my second estimate. They barely looked at the damage and wrote an estimate that was WAY lower than the other shop, so of course my insurance took their bid. Well, the McKinney location was booked for months so they suggested the Richardson location. They could get me in the next week.I dropped my car off on June 20. I just got it back YESTERDAY EVENING! (July 25th!) The only reason we knew the car was done then was because we called. They werent even going to call and say it was done. During the 35! days that they had my car, they put in a supplemental quote that DOUBLED the original amount, but since they had already started working on the car, my insurance had to pay up. This more than totalled out the car. THEN, after 31 days, we called because the rental car coverage was up. We found out they were trying to submit another supplement because THEY broke the windshield when reinstalling it! When we picked up the car the headlights werent even installed properly. We had to have them take it back and fix it, which they werent happy about.We picked up the car last night and this morning....IT WONT START!!!!! There was NOTHING mechanically wrong with the car previous to them having it. NOTHING. It has VERY low miles and is in pristine shape!I had high hopes for this shop because they are family owned and have been in business for over 60 years. They are a shop that low-balls estimates to get bids, then hikes up the supplemental claim. SCAM ARTISTS!!! Shady and should be ashamed of themselves!

I WOULDNT TAKE A SKATEBOARD THERE TO BE REPAIRED.Had my Jeep for 15 days. Sloppy work, sloppy service. Bad attitude when you pick up your car, if youre not satisfied with the work(I use the term loosely) I had to return the next day because they didnt even put on the Patriot lettering on the outside of the vehicle. I was given a lame excuse of well, we have to wait until the car is washed. The letters were in the original packaging laying in the backseat. (Over the phone, OJ said, oh, yeah I have them right here.) Interesting, the Jeep was back at my house by then?! He said bring it in itll take 15 minutes. They had the car for FIFTEEN DAYS. Probably could have squeezed in 15 minutes sometime then. By the way, obviously the car had been washed...THEY REPAINTED THE DOOR!! Its white Jeep, I brought it to them when it was muddy, but yet when I picked it up, it was clean. Also, it took longer than expected, because they ordered the 2 doors FOR THE WRONG side of the vehicle !! Incompetence is in no short supply there. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT GO TO HERBS, unless you enjoy being played for a fool. Go for the duct tape and a few cans of spray paint, instead. (Oh yeah, I have one leg and use a walker. Not one employee offered to carry my free coffee. Thanks for the consideration to this veteran)

I was told by my representative that i would have my truck back within 10 days which turned into 5 weeks. There was more than one time that they misrepresented to me that all parts were in and it would only be a few days before my truck would be ready. I was told on 3 separate occasions that it would not not be a few more days then that turned into 3 more weeks. It cost me an extra week of car rental fees that i should not have to pay.In the end they did a nice repair job but i couldn’t trust their word for completion of the promised time frame. The staff seemed to be confused and not on the same page as i got a different story each time i was contacted or when i called them for an update. Let’s see if there’s any management follow up based upon my experiences.

This was a great experience. Scotty was knowledgeable and polite. I highly suggest u stop by to meet these highly qualified and organized people. Love their repair.

Paul mattews was the best he kept me inform of all that was going on with my truck, he took care of the insurance and pricing with the insurance thanks paul for the wonderfull job u did on my truck . My truck looks awesome.

Took my Ford F150 here to repair the hail damage. The truck is aluminum so they are trickier to PDR but they did a great job. The roof was too far gone so it had to be replaced but you cant tell. Doug and Pete did a great job to work directly with my insurance and keep me updated each step of the way. Great service and great work. I recommend them.

Had a little dent on my car that someone had try to fix but messed up. All I wanted was to get it repainted with matching color (obviously). No auto body-work store in town accepted to just repaint - they all wanted to change many (expensive) parts, and then repaint. But whereas I got a $1,826 quote from Richardson Central Collision Repair, and $1,887 quote from Huffines in Plano, I got a $3,482 quote from Herbs in Richardson! No kidding!I ended up getting it fixed for $700 at a car paint shop... and they even fix the dent, they did a great job.

Herbs did a great job on my bumper, I was hit by someone that ran a red light and ripped my front bumper off. Herbs had it fixed in about a week and you cant tell anything ever happened. It looks great.

The entire process was handled with professionalism and great customer service. Herbs kept me in the loop at every step, which I appreciated. My Ford looks brand new!! A specialist even got the stubborn black tar off the undercarriage. Thats going above and beyond, and I couldnt be happier!

Just want everyone to know that Pete Fitzsimmons is the best. This Herbs has repaired my vehicle more than once and I would happily recommend them to anyone. Be sure and ask for Pete.

The whole experience was very pleasant. They were quick, kept me up to date on my car, and when I got my car it looked better than before.

If you have USAA don’t go here. The customer service I received from Brynn Howell was awful. I ended up having my vehicle towed to a Service King to have the work done. This was my first experience with a Caliber Collision and I will NEVER go back to a Caliber Collision again. They kept parts of my car after it was towed to Service King and still haven’t returned them.

The service was great the people were outstanding they made me feel that my car was in safe hands. The result on my car repair showed how much they care about there customers . I will return.

They do take on to many vehicles, Im sure thats an upper management thing but why not take on less, vehicles and give them back in a timely manner than take on tons of vehicles where people have to wait months for a simple repair and in turn never using Herbs again? I dealt with a gal named Dawn, she was helpful and the main reason Im giving 3 stars.
