When in this morning at 8:00am to get my Nissan Altima inspected and they were done by 8:20am. Wow! Also, I had taken my car to Courtesy Nissan and they told me that the Control Arm Bushings were worn and that I should replace them in 3, or 4 months. They wanted to charge me $1,080 for the job, but Kwik Kar told me they would do it for $620. Still expensive, but better than $1,000!. So thats good to know!. Good experienced overall.

I got a wire stuck through my tire, and they took it out and said they didn’t see a hole and said it was fine so they didn’t plug or patch it. Two hours later when I walk out of my apartment the tire is completely flat!!!! I called them back to see if they could help because I only live 6 minutes away, and they said to go to a different tire shop!!! They are the worst! Don’t use them!

Best auto mechanic shop I’ve visited!Brought my car this afternoon for a general/safety inspection, mechanics gave me a detailed description of what was looked through. The service was outstanding, the wait time was short, mechanics were extremely nice! What else can you ask for?Definitely coming back here in the future!

Showed up 15 minutes, or so, before they closed to get a vehicle inspection. Was full expecting to be turned away and told they were about to close. I thought Id give it a try since I was in the area and they went ahead and helped me right any way, no hesitation. All they asked in return was for a good review. So here I am. Great business. Have used this specific Kwik Kar location about 3-4 times for routine inspections and have only ever had a great experience with the team. Worked with Bryson (spelling?) today and previously as well and the staff is great and friendly, they are quick and efficient, and would highly recommend others to use this location.

They went out of their way to come to my car and change the battery since I couldn’t get a tow to the shop. I’m greatly appreciative! What could have been a big headache that wouldn’t have had results til tomorrow was made much easier and less of a burden! Will definitely continue coming to this shop if any future problems arise! In & out in under 10 mins. This is my 2nd visit this year for motorcycle inspection. Not only they worked professionally and proficiently but they were very friendly and conversable. Guess what! I showed up right before their closing time and they served me 👍👍👍

Never would I have though Kwik Car would be the place that saves me and my wrx lol. One of the guys noticed I was limping my WRX to the Autozone across the street where he was, and asked what was wrong with my car, told him the shift linkage popped off and I’m stuck in 2nd gear. Since it was close to closing, and they had open bays he told me to just bring the car over. Saved me from buying another $200 low profile floor jack. What an absolute legend. Never got his name. But he’s got long hair. This alone should speak volumes on their customer service level. I wasn’t a paying customer or stopping by their shop. He just saw someone’s car having trouble that only required about 5 minutes worth of work with the right tools and access to below the car, and offered to help me out. Awesome people here. And contrary to popular belief, these guys actually have mechanical sympathy unlike Jiffy Lube guys who will use an impact and cross thread your drain plug.

I went here for car inspection. I was greeted promptly and both technicians that I encountered were pleasant. It took about 20-30 minutes for the inspection.

Come in here on a Sunday, they pull me in and get started immediately. Great Service I will only be going here from now on!

This place is awesome! I’ve been coming here for the last 3yrs at least. They are HONEST and thorough. They are fair in their prices and their customer service is great. Dennis the manager runs that shop like a well oiled machine and knows everything about cars, parts, and whatever else you need to know. I live in Downtown Dallas, so Whenever I need my oil change, or anything else done with my car I’ll make that 30min plus drive because I trust them. I was a customer to the other auto shop next door and they were so rude to me I decided to take my car to Kwik. That’s how I ended up becoming a customer and I’m sure glad I did. Keep up the good work guys!

The headlight on my car went out or at least I thought it had. Called and inquired if Kwik Kar could take a look and replace the light, if necessary. To my surprise and delight, the lamp did not need replacement as the wiring was just loose. I asked how much I owed and the serviceman said, “Nothing! Leave a comment on Google if you were satisfied with the service!” What I value in today’s society is honesty. This gentleman could have told me that my lamp had gone out and charged me for parts and labor; however, he exemplified integrity and honesty and made the needed adjustment. Will I go back to Kwik Kar for future repair needs? Absolutely!!!

Kudos to Chris. He diagnosed and repaired only what was needed, I was told it was something else, but Chris found the leak and repaired it. The mechanic got my steering wheel greasy and Chris replaced it on his own dime.I felt safe as a woman I was not being taken advantage of.

I went in for a state inspection on my motorcycle (no appointment needed) and was out in less than 20 minuets . They checked every thing and did not try to upsell anything. I now have a new place to get my inspections done even on a Monday. Very straight forward and trust worthy.

Women, don’t go here. I pulled in for an oil change and the employee immediately started to try and tell my my car “might only take synthetic oil” which happens to be three times as expensive as regular oil. My little economy budget card does not take synthetic oil, It’s not a bmw. Then, I got scolded like a child by a different Employee because my tire was low and I asked them to air it up. Never mind the fact that they didn’t catch it themselves. To top it all off, they tried to recommend that I get my brake fluid flushed because it was “sooo dirty”. I had it flushed 6 months ago and it’s only recommended every 30,000 miles. if they had their way, I would’ve spent close to $1000 instead of my $30 oil change that I asked for.

I never leave negative reviews but my experience was very disappointing. I went to get my wheel alignment done on a Sunday(3/21) at 2pm. The mechanic said he couldn’t take my car because they were about to close. When I mentioned the time, he said a wheel alignment could take anywhere from :30 to 3 hours, and they were working on someone already. When I mentioned I had an appointment from their website, he asked if I had a Groupon and told me they don’t do appointments, to bring the car early in the morning, I had no choice but to leave. I decided to comeback the next Sunday (3/28). I arrived at 9:50am just before opening to make sure that they could get the job done. I was the first costumer this time. I left my car. At around 3pm, the mechanic called me to say, they hadn’t been able to work on my car because they got busy and they were shorthanded. He said it needed parts and labor, to which I agreed for him to work on it, but again he said that there was no time to do so and that he didn’t have the parts. Ignoring the fact that I WAS THE 1st COSTUMER that day. I reluctantly decided to leave the car so that he could work the next day. The next day (3/22) I didn’t hear from him, that afternoon I called to see what they had done. He had done Nothing! He said he had no confirmation from me and that he got busy again. Two different visits and overnight stay and my car was never worked on. I’m done with Kwik Kar.

Great and Friendly service! Came in for an oil change and was informed I needed a belt changed, which was followed up by the attendant showing me in person the problem with the belt. Thanks to her and the other attendants knowledgeable eyes it saved me from being stranded on the road in the future.Prices are a little high, but not much.The waiting room is comfy and has free coffee, tea, and refrigerated water as a courtesy.The location was also very clean, including the Bathrooms and shop floor!

I have taken my car to this Kwik Kar for a long time. I am in the process of trying to sell my car and I thought I would get some advice from Dennis because he knows my car from the past. Today Dennis went above and beyond to help me to get the best price for my trade in. This Kwik Kar takes care of their customers and ALL their needs with great advice and quick service. When I get my new car I will definitely take it to Kwik Kar for service!!!!!!!!!

My daughter brought her 2017 Traverse to this shop with a very common problem and the check engine light on. Her car was slow to start after filling up with gas. It needed the vapor canister purge valve replaced. I know this because I had to replace it on my 2015 Cadillac SRX. It’s a $35 part and takes less than 15 minutes to replace. They quoted her $600 for the repair, charging over $100 for the part and $240 in labor. They quoted another part that was $100, plus another $120 in labor for it. After she declined on letting them completely rip her off, they charged her $120 “diagnostic fee”. All they had to do was check the code that was brewing thrown, so basically $120 for 2 minutes of work. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else! THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!

The under tray of my Tesla Model 3 got ripped and my Tesla appoointment to replace it will not be til mid December. In the meantime, its making too much noise so I had decided to have it removed. I went to Kwik Kar on Jupiter on Saturday, Nov 28, around noon to see if they could help me remove it from under the car. They removed it and they did not charge me. The mechanic who removed it was very nice and professional. The manager was extremely professional and kind. Hes also one hot looking daddy! Overall, very excellent experience at this establishment.

Honest service is difficult to come by these days, I brought my Silverado in to have work done on it and was told the service I wanted wouldn’t solve the problem. The manger gave me advise and fixed my problem with a scan tool, FOR FREE, the staff here could have just performed the service I asked for and charged me full price, I trust these guys and you should aswell!!!

The one star isnt because of the oil change I went in for. I bought a Groupon and went in to get oil changed. They tried to talk me into getting rotors and brakes changed without taking off my tires and inspecting. After calling around to brakes plus I went in and found out I did need brakes but not rotors.If you go in for one thing and they find other things, be wary. I personally do not enjoy being upsold. They were probably cheaper just just front brakes but because of the rotors i was skeptical. Apparently I dont need rotors until next brake change (a whole 60k miles). If you need brakes changed or inspected. Go to brakes plus. Free inspection...

The shop staff was pretty nice but all in all the shop runs slow and inefficient. I was there for about an hour just for an oil change. Also, I thought I would be saving money by going to a smaller shop for the oil change on my Mercedes-Benz but I ended up spending more than I would have if I had just gone to the Mercedes dealership. Its just not worth it. Probably wont go back to this shop in the future.

Called Sunday to set a alignment up for my truck I just lifted. The rep said they didnt have a tech on site that day to do it. So I told him that I just lifted the truck and had to have it done. He said bring it in at 8am and well do it. I went in at 8am the tech said it would be a bit. I waited 2.5 hours. The tech comes out and said oh we cant align this its lifted...... I specifically stated it was lifted on the phone and you seen the truck at 8am. Why wait 2.5 hours to come out and just now tell me you wont do it. What a bunch of clowns.... never again will I even consider this shop.

If you have had a bad experience with shops or even a KwikKar in the past. Go to these guys they are spot on and A++ staff. Great people. I wont go anywhere else for my wifes oil change or anything.

DO NOT Use!!! We took our truck there for a State Inspection. It took over 30 minutes and they put down the WRONG VIN number. We had to come back a second time and wait again! I would NOT recommend.

They would not honor the $19 oil change that was posted on Groupon. I would never use this business due to their false advertising.

I have had so many mechanics work on this car and NOT ONE PERSON HAS BEEN HONEST with me at all. I have been on this property for not even 5 minutes and the manager Dennis has given me more information than anywhere else. His customer service is off the charts and he is down to earth and humble. As soon as I got out of the car he knew what was wrong, and didnt even try to upsale me anything. This is the best experience I have ever had doing any car service PERIOD.

Not my first gig with kwik kar, I usually go to their locations for oil changes and small repairs. However the guys at this location went above and beyond, especially Dennis and Jerry. With all the conspiracy against shops overcharging and exaggerating problems to keep customers, I was relieved to see these men. They showed me the few issues with my car, pulled up a car fax to show what needs to be attended, and physically brought me to each problem and showed me thoroughly where the issues were such as a leak and broken bushing. No diagnostic fee and super friendly. Give them your business you won’t regret it!!!

I would give negative stars but it won’t let me! We just simply needed the horn repaired on my car to pass inspection and they kept the car for over 7 hours and wanted to charge multiple fees without explanation. We got the car back and it turns out they broke the front grill off my car. We took it back up there and they called us cheap when we just didn’t trust their evaluation. Turns out we were right, these guys give mechanics a bad name, and that’s unfortunate. Looks like we will continue to use the J and A auto next door as they are always honest and hard working.

This was my first visit to Kwik Kar of Richardson. I would give 10 stars if it was an option. They are a honest company, professional, knowledgeable and have the mindset to do the best for the customer. I had AAA auto come to my house to jump my dead battery and was told it needed to be replaced. After they replaced it they were unable to attach the battery bracket and said it was too corroded to use and that I would need to drive to an auto shop and purchase a new one. Kwik Kar told me it just needed to be cleaned up and the corrosion removed. They were friendly and kind and offered coffee and bottle of water while I was waiting. I was in and out within 30 minutes and they did not charge me anything. I told them I would be back for all my auto needs and I would spread the word. So if you want good, honest service for an honest price, you need to look no further. Thank you Kwik Kar of Richardson! I want to make sure the Owner knows that it was Dennis who helped me.

Employees don’t wear masks at all, understandable to not wear them while inside working on cars all day but it’s necessary when interacting with customers at least. The employees were great but the prominently displayed thin blue line flag makes me question management. Was it a compromise from a previously hanging confederate flag or do you just need everyone to know how much you love it when the state murders people?

This place is terrible worst experience ever

Really disappointed in the service I got this week from this facility.I went to a Pep Boys earlier in the week that had turned me away because they didnt have a mechanic so I was like no big deal, I know a really nice Kwik Kar in Richardson (25 min from my apartment) and theyve been really nice in the past. I brought in my car for an oil change and also because my check engine light was on.This time I was told Id be charged a $125 diagnostic fee (I dont think Ive ever been charged a diagnostic fee), and they hoped their mechanic would be in to work on my car. Manuel called me to let me know what was wrong with my car, they started working on it and then noticed that there would need to be additional work, which was upsetting because it looked like I was getting raked over the coals on the additional cost to get and install an oil valve cover. I said that the increase was insane and that I thought they were ripping me off on that and he immediately took money off my tab-- which tells me I was right to think I was getting taken for a ride.I went to pick up my car today, I sit down and they didnt even do the oil change. He ended up waving the fee for it but its really not about the price that I was paying because honestly, Im happy to pay more if it means my car is running healthy and safely and I am safe behind the wheel. Heck, I dont even mind paying a little more because the economy is tight right now and I want to believe that folks are just trying to keep people employed but overall I felt like I was walking in with dollar signs over my head and that this team was trying to take advantage of me and their behavior seemed untrustworthy.Lastly, Manuel had on sterile gloves that he was wearing in the office to help customers (touching keys, computers and other peoples debit cards, counters, door handles etc) and he wore the same gloves in my car (touching the handle, gear shift, and steering wheel). Gloves dont work if you dont change them after every task done. It is cleaner to use sanitizer or wash your hands often than it is to wear unwashed gloves for everything.Basically, this site is spreading germs and distrust.

Electric cars still need inspections completed. I have been bringing my Tesla here for the last two years for inspection. Everyone is kind and prompt with the service. They had me in and out within 10 minutes. I will continue to use this location for this and other services that are applicable to me. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
