I never leave bad reviews, but I had such high hopes because the previous reviews were so great, but I was very disappointed. Dropped my phone off and they said they could fix the back of my iphone (shattered glass) in 3 hours. They later called and said they didnt have the right part so I had to wait until they ordered it, annoying, but no big deal. I brought it back after the part came in a few days later and he said it could be fixed in 6 hours now. Came back exactly when he asked and nothing had been done to the phone, and he showed us the replacement back he was planning to put on, and it didnt even have an Apple logo on it like the back of an iPhone normally would and we left. They also lost the phone case I had on my phone when I dropped it off (he did pay us back for this, so that was nice). There was also another person in the store while we were there complaining that they took in a working phone and when they got it back, it wouldnt turn on anymore. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

I got my LCD screen here fixed exactly 2 months ago and I have been taking great care of my phone. I have a screen protector and a case on it. The LCD screen is not not functioning properly and of course they want more money to fix it. Terrible experience. Don’t get your screen fixed here and expect it to last.

Best place to fix your Apple products. I have fix my phones crack screen and touch of my phone up there they fix it in 15 min give me 3 months warranty on that screen, but after 6 months phone have started issue with brightness . I called Rohan and he told me to bring my phone to any of his locations and he will fix that . I went to Richardson location and they replace my screen and touch for free . And they even told my that if something happen plz bring your phone to us we will be happy to help you. BEST PLACE TO FIX YOUR ELECTONICS .

Bas at Smart Techs was a lifesaver for us this week. Our daughter is heading back to the University of Arkansas tomorrow, so the 10 day turn around for the Apple store for a battery repair for a MacBook Pro, was simply not an option. Bas not only replaced the battery, but was able to address some hidden water damage and fix the power button. He was professional and fair with his pricing. Very quick service and very friendly as well, fixed my cracked iPhone screen in about 15 minutes! They quoted me cheaper than what was posted on the website. Highly recommend.Updated: lowering my rating. First replacement screen I got ended up having a solid black line down the middle of the screen after a couple of days. I brought it back and they replaced it quickly and for free, but now when my phone is locked and I get a call, it will not wake up. Phone stays black while the phone is ringing and am unable to answer any calls. Will have to go to the Apple store to get it replaced by them. Also, if you have an iPhone 11 you will not be able to trade it in if you get the screen replaced by a third party. Your phone displays a warning message afterwards.

Bas is great! He does great work and is very professional. I Dropped my Apple Watch and it shattered, took it here and Bas changed out the screen. A day after I got it back, the screen somehow shifted and the display was slanted so I let him know. He told me to bring it back and he would take care of it, which he did. He got a new screen and changed it out. All good so far.

Fixed my iPhone X back glass and lcd. My phone was totally dead and I needed my information from my iPhone. Bad hooked me up with a great deal for replacing the back and front and they were able to get it done same day. I am happy with the fast service and the device is back to life.

I’ve had a rough experience with this repair shop to say the least. I came in with a cracked Apple Watch screen that I wanted replaced and it took them a week and three separate attempts for them to get it right. It cost me $140 and they gave me back $30 of what I paid which was nice, but I still wasted a lot of time driving back and forth and waiting for them to fix my watch and have the screen look like new. Though it may be unrelated, after the final fix, my watch’s battery life has been considerably worse, lasting only 8-12 hours before dying whereas previously it would last more than 24 hours without being charged. Again, not sure if it’s a software or hardware problem, but it wasn’t an issue until after the watch was handled by this place.

I was quoted 269 at Apple to fix my minor screen crack and fledging battery on my 6+. I also had to leave it there. I shopped around and settled on this place after reading reviews and doing some research on yelp. I got it fixed here for 99 bucks. The owner is really cool and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I took my phone here in July and I thought the experience was great. He was fast, but he was also “helping” another customer while working on my phone. I took it back and he said the front camera was broken. I took my phone again to a REAL phone repair shop and they said whoever changed the screen didn’t even bother to take the plastic off of the back of the screen. They said it was a botched job and anyone with any common sense could’ve done a better job.

My Mac-book screen cracked after the laptop fell from about 3 feet from the reading desk in library. I was still able to use the laptop but just looked like outer glass was shattered completely. Took it to iPhone iPad iPod Repair Richardson and got the screen replaced in less than an hour. Awesome laptop repair place!! They carry most mac-book screens in stock.

My laptop screen had cracked and I took it to best buy to see if they could fix it. Best Buy said they could but were charging me 300$ and said it would take 3-4 weeks since they had to ship it off. My mom told me to go to wireless hospital and they charged me half of that and fixed it in a week. All this was during my finals, they gave me a desktop so I could finish my assignments and exams. Amazing customer service and I would recommend it to anyone!

I just got my iphone 5 screen/LCD display repaired after hearing about it through a friend and Im very pleased with the work! I initially made an appointment with the genius bar at the apple store, but they charge more, and as apple users may know, it can be difficult to set up an appointment as soon as you need one.
