So grateful to the friendly staff who helped me!! I had a broken pair of frames, and leaving for vacation in just a few days. Chris, who assisted me, called and found the exact frames for me, all within a couple days! I was able to pick up the new frames a day before I leave for my vacation. Thank you so much to the friendly, helpful staff!!!! Best customer service around, I highly recommend this business!!!

You learn a lot about a company when things go wrong and you’re able to see how they handle it. Unfortunately, All About Eyes in Rockford, IL handled the situation poorly in my opinion. I provided them with a pair of Oakley prescription glasses that needed new lenses. After paying the $151 fee for the lenses I was told a few days later that they broke the frames while they had them and they were now unusable. I was told I could receive a pair of their store brand frames and lenses for free (Technically $151) or I could get 40% off another pair of Oakleys. I was told that I could not be refunded the $151 I spent on the lenses. I reached out to cooperate numerous times and finally received a call back. I was told despite being a returning customer with them there was nothing they could do about replacing my Oakley frames that they damaged aside from getting 40% off a new pair. I was able to get refunded my $151 in the end and took my business else where. I understand mistakes happen, and I’m not upset about that. But if your company make a mistake I should not be financially responsible for that. I think the company needs to be accountable for their actions. To save yourself headache if things do go wrong with your order, I would recommend shopping else where.

I have been seeing Dr Jalota for over 10 years. He is tbe most knowledgeable and personable optometrist I have ever went to. I highly recommend for all your optical needs. He will gladly refer you to a specialist if you need one. Congrats also on those new twins

I came in for a contact exam and to order contacts. I walked out seeing the world a whole lot clearer. Went to another place and got a exam did the buy one get one free pair of glasses bad mistake on my behalf (you get what you pay for) I found out for the pass 3 years I have been wearing the wrong prescription! Constant headaches for the 3 years. I popped my contacts he gave me and within 20 mins my headache went away! Highly recommended this place! The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back. Thank you for being amazing 👏 ❤

Mediocre at best, not only the service, but also the office staff.Had a terrible experience and will never return. As a customer, when something isn’t working properly and no assurance of corrective action is taken, one takes ones business elsewhere.Be sure to know what your insurance covers and what it is that you want. As a first time contact lenses shopper, I didn’t do my homework, and allowed a salesperson mislead me into buying glasses and contact lenses. What I learned through this nightmare of an experience is that most insurances don’t cover both....

LOOK no further...Dr and staff are spot on...super nice and you can SEE that they care. Lots to choose from and low key sales pressure. Definitely would recommend!!! And Angel ROCKS!!!

Where do I begin, I came in for a regular eye exam only to find out it was a bit more serious so more monitoring needed to be done. During checkout I was told that my insurance would reimburse me for my visit only to be told that they applied discounts to my fee and that voided the option of me being reimbursed. The next day I had to come in for a follow up visit to be told I would have to pay AGAIN because the previous worker gave me discounts she was not supposed to so not only did that mess up me being reimbursed from my insurance I had to pay twice for something that wasn’t my fault! The ophthalmologist are amazing and very knowledgeable but the ladies upfront are horrible some of them act as if their name is on the front of the building and every time I have came in they come across as rude and entitled since I’m not greeted when I’m come in I have to let them know I have an appt and when they give me my receipt they just look at me and I have to say “are we done?” what happened to the “have a nice day” or “see you again soon” people normally say when you are a customer?

Will not ever go back to all about eyes! They billed me a year later for my eye exam that should have been covered by my insurance. All about eyes told me that my eye exam was due and clearly it was not! My insurance wont pay it, and now that it took a year for me to get the bill my insurance wont even dispute it! I was told by corporate that all the store manager needed to do was call corporate and it could have been resolved. I am so disappointed in the customer service at all about eyes rockford location!

I scheduled appointments for myself, my husband, and both of my daughters on Saturday 8/10/19. Since there were four of us it took awhile. The optometrist did a great job checking all of our eyes. I am the only one who wears contacts. He suggested that I should go to dailies instead of monthly ones. I liked the idea, since Im not wearing my contacts everyday. My husband and daughters had a hard time picking out glasses. There were a decent amount of styles for my daughters, but my husband was not crazy about the selection for him. The lady that we did the paperwork with, Sarah B., was great! She was very helpful with making that part easier for us. I was impressed with her knowledge and ability to give us the answers we were looking for to our questions. I do, however, miss the cheaper prices, though. They seemed more expensive than I remembered.

If I could give a 0 I would. The lady(she was the one with long curly hair) whom was making sure the glasses fit properly was VERY rude. First off she handed us the glasses that were already paid for and they were all lop sided. She tried saying it was the ears but clearly they were completely off. She tried telling me I was wrong but once she adjusted them some how they fit properly. I was not allowed to say anything without her making a remark back. Honestly terrible customers service. I will NEVER be back.

I went back to all about eyes after trying another eye care provider for a couple years due to insurance. I had remembered great service and had a recent change in insurance that allowed me to go back. After absolutely terrible service at the other place, I was a little wary. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and taken care of. From that moment the service and quality has been absolutely exceptional. I made a slight comment about a headache and the doctor immediately zeroed in on it and noticed that my prescription was wrong even though it had just been updated a few months prior at the other eye care provider. I received an accurate prescription and haven’t had a headache since. I brought my kids in a couple weeks later and found that their prescriptions had been wrong too. We are all very happy with our new glasses and new (correct) prescriptions. They were also able to take the brand new frames I had just gotten months before and put correct lenses in them as a back up pair at a discount. I now have contacts, and two pairs of prescription glasses at roughly the same price as the terrible eye care place I had gone to previously. They worked with me with my insurance and have remembered me every time I walk in for a fitting or to pick something up. I’m not going anywhere else from here on in. The whole team is amazing, but I have a special thanks to Shelby for being awesome In her care for my sons and myself from start to finish.

Ive been to All About Eyes for the last few years. Today I thought I needed an exam and new prescription. The doctor did extensive testing then told me I dont really need new glasses right now. being a former patient if he had said I needed glasses I would have paid for them walked out the door happy but he had my best interest in mind. He saved me hundreds of dollars and told me to turn up the lights when Im reading. The people here are trustworthy and have only my best interest in mind. I will return when I need glasses again.

Shelby the manager there is the absolute best! Very patient and informative I had a warranty and unfortunately one of the other employees charged me after I left Shelby called within 5 minutes issued a refund immediately apologized and said of I ever needed anything to let her know I since have been back Shelby changed out my lenses cleaned and adjusted my glàsses right on the spot she again is the best at all about eyes I would recommend anyone who needs glasses to visit there

I had been to several other eye care store and was unable to find a deal I could afford with my insurance. They were both were both very helpful in helping me find a deal that worked for me.

I was helped by a woman named Angelica, who was very busy but still managed to help me promptly. I got in to see Dr. Zajicek, who was very nice. Quick exam, a few questions and back out front. Anjelica asked me if I’d like to order anything and told me about a glasses/contacts deal, which I ended up buying. I got an exam, ordered glasses and contacts, and got in and out in about a half hour, most of which was me trying to decide on frames. I never felt rushed. They were very nice and very helpful. I’ll definitely return to this store for my next exam or order.

I recently had an eye exam for the first time in 5-6 years (yikes, I know). I was pretty nervous and not sure what to expect, as my last eye exam was pretty awful years ago(at a different place). Anywho, from the moment I called and scheduled my appointment to actually being seen and treated, it was truly a wonderful experience.The staff was super friendly and so incredibly helpful. I was lost trying to choose my frames and they helped me try on dozens of different pairs and gave me honest opinions the entire time. I am SO THANKFUL that I chose All About Eyes. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

This was my first time as a customer at ABE, and I can say it was wonderful. Hannah was very helpful and friendly. She helped me find two frames I really loved so it was a hard choice! I ended up going with one of their designer brands in their vast selection of frames. A reasonable price (they price match too!) and comfortable environment, I had a great experience at ABE.

Bigger selection than other places Ive been to. The staff is awesome, super friendly and professional. They are great at explaining everything that I was unaware of with eye health. I got contacts here and they made the process easy and fun. The optometrist was very informative and cared about answering the questions I had until I was comfortable. Also very flexible and forgiving with rescheduling!

Ive been a customer for 2 years now. The experience is still as it was from a year ago. Great service, eye exam is pleasant, your staff is very helpful. I got glasses last year and they are still looking great. This summer, my Fiance got me a birthday gift and purchased some prescription sunglasses. She was also pleased with the service provided for her. Shelby, your manager, did an amazing job while working with my Fiance to make it as easy as possible to keep my gift a surprise. Absolute worst customer service experience I think I have ever come across. Asked them to use my own frames to make new lenses for. They refused to use the case for them and then broke my frames but didnt even bother telling me they broke them until I had to CALL THEM to find out. Fine, they offered to make it right by replace with a comparable set of frames. However, knowing full well I asked for and PAID for transitions lenses the new glasses were clearly NOT transitions lenses! When I called them I was offered the chance to order them AGAIN and PAY for them when I already paid for them. Cannot believe these people are in business! Just an absolutely AWFUL customer experience.Update as of 1:30 PMJust received a call from Shelby (general manager of the store). She took the time to investigate and listen to the issue at hand and make the situation right. So what had started off as a VERY bad relationship is ending up much better and I will actually give the company kudos for doing what is right here. Thank you Shelby and thank you Adam Rosengren for doing the right thing here.

My insurance doesnt cover my kids glasses. Angel found every possible discount and made them affordable.I had my 5 year old twins there and the staff was so helpful and great with them it was just a great experience for everyone

I have purchased many glasses from All About Eyes over the years and have been pretty happy with them. This year I forgot to check my warranty and had to replace lenses that were past expiration. Nick was so very helpful and answered all my question thoroughly. I was very pleased with my new lenses.

Shelby did a great job of customer service. I hate picking out glasses and she was able to hel me out. Glasses came in quickly and I got a text message they were in. She put the nose pads on that I needed and made sure everything lined up. She is very knowledgeable about her job but it is the care she gives that makes her special.

I tried the online appointment booking and the system showed two times available. I selected one, filled out the form and waited for my email confirmation. 45 min- hour later no email, no problem, I can call to confirm.I called to confirm, and was informed that the time was in fact not available and the first appointment wasn’t until two days later.In 2019, the expectation is that if you have an online booking process, I’m going to hold you to it. If you show a time available, and an hour later I have to call to find out that the appointment isn’t actually available, you lose my business. I would have happily called to make an appointment, but I was offered the convenience to book online.The person on the phone, Nick(I think), was pleasant enough, but I’m not happy with the experience, thus the two stars.

Ive gone to different places for my glasses before, but then I went to All About Eyes, and Ive honestly gone nowhere since. When I first went I loved the staff and the atmosphere, but cringed at the prices. However, an associate helped me get everything I needed within my budget, so I was pretty happy. Ive noticed a consistency in outstanding customer service - always available, but never pushy. I know Ill be back.

I went in today just to get a price quote and I was immediately greeted by a lady named Natalie. We proceeded to go over prices which some I thought were a little high but we were able to work something out plus I can get a second pair absolutely free since I dont have vision insurance. This was definitely a worth-while visit and Im just waiting on my schedule to set up an appointment. Also Caleb the manager overheard me wanting to set up an appointment and kindly offered me their business card with a number to call. This place is great to even people who arent yet patients. Been going to this location since they first opened and have never been disappointed. Always great service. I go in once a year for an exam and new contacts/glasses, they are always very helpful and patient even when Im trying on a couple dozen pairs of glasses. Also they are familiar with my vision insurance and are able to expedite that process easily.

I had called All about Eyes about 9 am and was able to get in that same day only a couple of hours from calling. I had an eye exam for contacts and glasses. I had been to other eye doctors telling that my eyes get dry staring at the computer all day. No one changed my contacts until I went to All About Eyes.

We recently took our daughters here for their exams. The staff and doctor were very helpful and great with the girls. Both girls found frames that they liked and it was a very smooth process. They were also very knowledgeable about our insurance which was great. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

My first visit to All About Eyes was about two years ago, so it was natural to return when the time came for new glasses. I cannot be more happy with my first purchase, as I am with the second. The selection of frames are fashion forward, and the service is fabulous. On my second trip I was just searching for sunglasses, and I came across a pair by Ray Ban. Although the frames were great they didnt quite fit my face, I needed a more square-shaped frame. Well, to my great surprise Megan, the sales associate, found a similar frame, by the same brand, in a more fitting shape, color, and style. I am grateful for the time she took to help me find the perfect frame. A week later. I was in trying them on. The great service and merchandise selection is much appreciated.

My husband glasses are working better than he has ever had before. The manager took time to be patient with us and explain because he does not speak very good enliglish. Very nice people and even offered us coffee when we arrived .i wish you can make glasses the same day...but it was worth waiting. Your doctor is also very good. We will be back with our whole family. This place is awesome! I was in a panic because I tried to fix my glasses right before going on vacation and of course it was a disaster. I came to All About Eyes and the receptionist Kelsey was so nice and helped me fix my glasses like a pro. The staff was very helpful and caring. I highly recommend them.

When i walked in they were very busy but, my experience there was great! i wish they had more plastic frames but aside from that, i found two glasses that i really liked! i understood everything they told me and i highly recommend this place to the rockford area.

Just got new glasses from here and my experience was great. Went to lens crafters and they were going to charge me a total of $250 more for the same 2 pairs of glasses that All About Eyes had. The customer service was great. They were friendly. I got so much more value and bang for my buck here.

I had an amazing experience at All About Eyes. Every business runs off of a referral basis so I am always happy to leave a good or bad review. I was greeted right away by Anthony C - got in right away to see the doctor even though I was a few minutes late. I did not bring anyone with me to pick out a new pair of glasses (which I am very bad at) and Anthony helped me pick out an awesome pair that fit my face very nicely. Will definitely be going back in the future and would recommend to anyone in the area that needs a new eye doctor, new pair of glasses etc!

I came here to get an exam, contacts and new glasses. The staff was very friendly​ and informative. They took time to patiently go into detail and explain to each patient what the best option was for your specific insurance. It can be confusing as the customer to try to make the wisest choice financially, but they are very patient with explaining all the options. What fantastic service my 84 year old mother received from Dr Jalota and all of his staff. First time there was in June and was diagnosed with cataracts. Once those were taken care of, we went back for the glasses and received superior service each and every single time we went in from Natalie, Shelby and Kelsey. Definitely recommended!!

With 25 years of wearing glasses and contacts under my belt, I have experience with A LOT of eye doctors in multiple cities and states. In Illinois, I have been extremely disappointed with the majority of optometry locations, worst of all Miller Eye Center. Despicable!Dr. Z and all of the wonderful, knowledgeable ladies that work at All About Eyes have finally turned my optometry frown upside down!! They are punctual, friendly and efficient. The quality of care and fit at All About Eyes is impeccable. I have referred my family members and highly recommend them to anyone else who has struggled to find a decent optometry team in Rockford. Well done!

Quick & easy exam, the staff was very helpful with my contact & glasses purchase. Ive been going here for 3 years and am always greeting with a friendly welcome and have never had to wait for my eye appointment or to be helped up front.

Very good work had metal in my eye for almost a week docted was able to remove very well on a Sunday and back to normal on the next day with proper eye drops very happy with my visit

Long story short I walked into the joint with a positive attitude but since then its been all negative. Two pair of glasses two pieces of junk. The nose brace fell off one pair,and the other pair wont even stay on my face.One star is one too many

Courteous staff and helpful. All 4 members of my family get their eye exams and glasses from here. Their eyeglass variety is certainly far better than some other competitors in the same area. They also price match if you find eyeglass or contacts cheaper elsewhere.

Went in to get glasses and the doctor that was on duty did eye exam. We received our glasses but the prescription was incorrect. Went back and had to have another exam with a different doctor who said that the original prescription was incorrect. Was told that I needed to pick out a different frame because the one I had was too small for progressive lensesNot sure why I wasnt advised on the size of the frame when I originally chose a frame. Wanted to pick out a new frame and thought that the sales person was going to assist me in finding new frames, but I was ignored while they waited on other people who came in after me. I left and returned to choose a frame. Picked out a frame and they sent them off to be remade. Was sent a text that glasses were ready but when I called I was told that the text message was a mistake and glasses did not pass inspection. Finally got a call that glasses were in and when I arrived, the salesperson brought out my glasses. It was the totally incorrect frame, not the one I chose, the frame was bent and the spring on the arms were installed incorrectly. Springs are supposed to support the arms as they extend away from your face horizontally, the springs were installed to allow the arms to expand vertically. Not sure why I would need the arms to go up and down.Overall salespeople were nice but not attentive and distracted with helping othe customers instead of assisting the customer they originally started helping. Eye doctor was too interested in talking about himself instead of doing a thorough eye exam. Frames must be defects that are sold at a discounted price.After two months of trying to get a pair of glasses, I contacted the district manager who knew nothing about the history of my experience and was very obstinate in offering a refund or any compensation for my inconvenience.Finally received a refund but had to pay for a field vision test $10. Really disappointed that I was not offered a full refund for all of issuesni had with the total process.I would definitely not recommend this place for eyeglasses. I have been wearing glasses for 40 years and this is the worst experience and the quality of their products is very poor.

Nick was very helpful and knowledgeable. Was very honest about tints and everything. Excellent and quick visit.

Very fast and friendly service. I had my annual eye exam, chose new glasses, paid, and left in under 45 minutes. Kelsey J and Dr. Jalota helped me today and we’re both equally helpful. I’m excited to see my new glasses next week!

The Doctor was pretty standoffish, didn’t say much or explain anything, almost rude.The assistant was extremely nice and helpful though.

First time to go to ABE and definitely not my last. All staff are extremely nice and helpful. Kelsey was very helpful on advising for which type of glasses to go with. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I only waited for about 5 mins or less for the Dr. I was also 10 mins late due to my work, but they didnt make a big deal out of it. I was still seen by the Dr. got my prescription for glasses and contacts. very affordable!!.and a lot of brands and styles to choose from at a reasonable price. My contacts came in 3 days later. I am satisfied with their service and will definitely go back for my yearly check.

Unfriendly All About Eyes are discrimination on DEAF lady on Relay service . That lady kept to asking over and over .Communication is FAILED!!!!!

Patient, caring, and experienced staff. I felt like everyone took their time with me, answered all my questions, and helped me find what was best for my eyes - and my checkbook!

The staff is EXTREMELY helpful and very knowledgeable! However, I returned 9 times to get the lenses correct. They were a bit off horizontally or vertically or they didnt line up from one lens to the other so that there was one eye that saw clearly and the other was blurry, or the prescription was too high or too low and I had to wear them plastered close to my face to see through them. Perhaps its the new digital lenses, but it was so frustrating! Sounds like the place they send them off too. They could see what was wrong each time and returned them to be fixed for free. They even gave me a coupon for all my trouble--they were very kind. Yet I finally got so stressed about trying to go back again that I became depressed and kept the last fix. Still cant see right and will have to go elsewhere.

Mediocre selection. Friendly staff but untrained. Need receptionist; interrupted several times so staff could assist people coming in.
