This facility is very neat and clean, well lighted, secure. The rental process was simple and straitforward. The sales person, Wilma, was a great help, was very personable, knowledgeable, and efficient She guided me through the rental process, showed me the unit and thoroughly explained the whole process. Totally satisfied.

Shannon and Kevin are both really great employees. They both were very welcoming and informative. I would definitely recommend this facility.

I came in to check some units and the young woman in the front desk her name is Autumn was very professional to provide me with all the necessary information I need. Then I went to check the unit which was upstairs and asked if someone could assist me and this young man named bisrat was very pleasant to assist me. He took me around the property and showed me the unit which was very satisfying and perfect for what we needed to store. The property i would say is absolutely phenomenal and clean. Thank you it was worth a visit. Hope to see you all soon when we come back and bring some stuff to our unit.

Cheep storage. Has a wired smell.Gate works most of the time.Update: after a year, I found a much cleaner place. Seriously, dont think anything was ever cleaned. Loading area is a joke, on a super steep slant. All my stuff smells bad from this place. My new storage unit has no weird smells.

My husband and I went in today to get a storage unit. Myana helped us and she was so great. She was very friendly and answered ever single question we had. She was great at giving us directions and was able to guide us with a storage unit size that was perfect for us. She explained all of the guidelines and rules of the contract and explained the insurance in a way that was easily understandable. We have moved into the building next door and will be stopping in just to say hi. Fantastic customer service makes a difference and Myana certainly did that for us and everyone else that was in there the same time we were. Ask for her!!!!!

Well organized and fair pricing. Not the cheapest option but certainly one of the best option keep your stuff safe. The padlocks used in there are cheap and not a good quality one. The place is clean. The space numbering system is easy to use. They have digital access control barriers at entry and exit. However this particular place entry is left opened for 95% of the time I have visited.

I cannot say enough about the kindness & genuine feeling of care displayed by Ileana at Public Storage Store # 24806. Our scheduled move out was proceeding as scheduled but move in to our new construction home was delayed a week. We needed help! Ileana was very comforting with her communication of confidence that everything will work out & nothing for me to worry about. She took care of everything! She took the initiative to call me for follow up & just make sure everything & me was ok. Wow, you do not experience that from many people anymore. An error was made at final checkout but she had it handled before I got there to turn over the unit. The entire process was flawless! If I ever have the need for storage again I definitely know to call Ileana or Manager Myanna. I also highly recommend anyone to use this facility. Thank you so much for everything!

I have rented a 10x20 climate-controlled space at this location for a year, and had recently interacted with Tanesha in order to move to a smaller unit. Top notch customer service by Tanesha and her manager Myana. Even though Tanesha was still in training, I found her to be very capable. My past interactions with Myana have also been very positive, and she runs the place very efficiently. In all my visits to the storage area I have found the hallways very clean.

Kevin and alaina were both great, they understood my situation and help solve my problem. They have a great team here with their manager. You guys made my day.

I had made a reservation and i received a call from Myana, she verified the time for me to go and complete my contract. I was a little late and she followed up to make sure I was coming in. Myana helped me with all my questions, was friendly and followed her COVID rules.

Delilah and Myana were absolutely fantastic— so helpful and courteous!! I can’t imagine working with a better storage company. Great service from A to Z. From providing advice on the amount of storage needed, accommodating my packing needs, and setting up my autopay account, Myana and Delilah were terrific!!

Increasing the storage fee EVERY YEAR I had items in storage, was a bit money hungry, in my opinion.

Lost over 1/4 of my stuff due to humidity.I contacted the property manager in July after finding evidence of a humidity problem, rodent issues, and lack of general cleaning in the midst of a pandemic. She assured me there was no current problem. I purchased a humidity sensor that stored 20 days of data, and intended to return the following weekend for the results. However, I contracted COVID. I had been almost nowhere else for months...coincidence? You decide. I was unable to return for nearly a month. By the time I returned, the damage was done. The humidity was between 69% and 80%, averaging 80%. Beyond unacceptable for a place advertising as “climate controlled”. Remember, it’s humidity that matters, not temperature. Mold on items, bug droppings on items, rusted out items. Mold is only covered up to $250, vermin (bugs) up to $250. Atmospheric conditions are not covered, so rust is not covered. I’ve since moved to a competitor up the street. The property manager never returned my follow up call. The district manager says she walked the property and it “didn’t feel humid”. That’s likely because the temperature is averaging only 72 degrees, but that won’t stop damage to items when humidity is high, as I learned. Upon move out, an employee acknowledged that they are aware of a humidity problem and that others have complained, in direct contrast to the claims of management. Please, look elsewhere. Don’t make the mistake I made.

Highly recommend this facility. To be fair, I have only been on the premises once but the two girls working were amazing. This is a terrible time to be moving and trying to rent spaces, but Melody and Myana really went the extra mile to make things work and go as smoothly as possible. I would not recommend this facility whatsoever. 1) We asked about paying for a year up front so we could lock in the rate - they do not offer that but assured us that they dont raise the rates for several months. Our rate increased 2x within a few months. 2) There are never any carts available and those that are available have wobbly or missing wheels. 3) The driveway is sloped so when you are trying to load/unload the carts (if you were lucky to get one) goes flying downhill. 4) Upon move out, we found evidence of mice in our unit that we know did not originate with us. 5) Customer service is non-existent. I was actually HUNG UP on multiple times mid-sentence of trying to figure out why the gate wasnt working. 6) I asked for the managers contact info to express my concerns. One customer service rep refused to give me the info. When I finally got a phone #, I tried calling 4x and left VMs with no response. I still havent been able to get in touch with the manager after a week of trying.

Myana has been extremely helpful to my boss and I while we have been trying to locate our storage locker and work to get the lock replaced.Definitely a top notch customer service rep!

My father recently had some medical episodes so we had to find a storage unit to store his possessions to make his apartment more livable due to his condition. Reserving online was a breeze. The Public Storage in Rockville confirmed our reservation and updated our online confirmation. When we went to appointment, we were happily greeted by the staff. Melody was the one who assisted to us. She was very kind and helpful. She showed us all the units for consideration to make sure we had the right unit and we found the one that works for our needs. Also, she suggested what we might need for the move and made sure we had everything. She explained everything patiently and showed excellent customer service. Checkout was easy and straightforward. The facility is well maintained and in a good area. My father and I had a pleasant experience during reservation and we definitely recommend this place to people in the area.

I have had great experiences in New Jersey were I am from with various storage companies. However, it is sad that you cant find decent facilities to store your belongings within a close proximity to your home. I was going to help my cousin move out of her storage but was not able, and glad because I suffer from allergies and found out that her stuff was covered with rodent feces. This is not acceptable especially since she has paid for your services over the last few years. I am enraged and know not to use this company for my storage needs.

Great staff! VERY helpful. I reserved a unit online, having no idea what size I really needed. When I got to the property, I explained what I needed to the agents, Melody and Myana. Both were very patient listening to my rambling story. The two of them conversed for a moment, and Melody showed me the unit I had reserved, which as she suspected, would not have been large enough. Melody then walked the property with me and showed me every size unit she thought might work until we found the right one. She did all of this in 98 degree heat, and was always pleasant and professional. The unit she helped me choose has been PERFECT. I couldnt be more satisfied.

Ive had a unit here for several years, living in an apartment and storing seasonal things here-- sports equipment, holiday decorations, that sort of thing. Because of this, I am in and out every few months, something making multiple trips in a short period. The staff is friendly, and have been responsive to my requests. On that I would give it 4 stars, I rarely give 5. The problem is maintenance. there have been times when the doors and gates did not work and it took weeks to repair them. They have layered security, so it hasnt been quite enough for me to check out, but it is concerning none the less. I think they need to do more preventative maintenance rather than reactive, fixing or replacing things at the first sign of functional problems, not just waiting for complete failure. They are not short on cash to pay for this. Public Storage reported a net profit for 3Q19 of $397,940,000. Theyre just unwilling to spend it on upkeep and the security of their customers.
