3๐๐Update Oct 30.We needed our covid booster shot. We were asked if we had an appointment. We said no.They said they could work us in.We had to wait for a little while. We got our shots. My thanks to the staff. Good customer service. It was appreciated.I have had very few issues with this location. The staff have been courteous and proffecianal to me. The pharmacy has been prompt and have called my doctor if they had questions about my prescribed medication. They answer any questions I have about my medicine. I also received my shingles and flu shots here. Months back the pharmacist assistants were not that great. They were young and had attitudes. I believe they have been replaced and I have had no issues recently. The one thing I dont like is the new layout. Lack of outside light and feels cramped to me. The entrance is not inviting at all. I liked the old store layout better. They should have focused on the store and put the clinic in another part of the store. I may switch to the Gattis School Road location if they do not put a clinic in.
Terrible service. Was sent here after last night for testing only to be told otherwise when arrived. Not happy at all.
This has been my pharmacy for over 5 years now and everything was fine until the new pharmacist came into the pharmacy and completely ruined it for me. At first this pharmacy was very friendly and I felt cared for until she came in and started making me feel uncared for and very rushed as if my health didnt matter to her. I completely find it disrespectful how some one that works in medicine can have no sympathy for a person with health issues. I would also like to add how rude she can be towards patients for simply asking questions over your own medicine or refills, for these reasons and the fact that its been happening for a very long time with no change or correction I will no longer be with Walgreens or sending my prescriptions.
Pharmacy staff is just rude. Unprofessional.
I am not satisfied with the Walgreen pharmacys customer service, when you call multiple times and they dont answer soon or placing you on hold for couple of mins and sometimes need to wait 8-10 mins to get someone on the line. Second thing, when you have a coupon and they dont know how to update your coupon and they mostly trying to charge you more than the price of the medication. I have never had issues with HEB Pharmacy, very helpful, asking the customers, if they have a coupon and trying to give them more discount on their medication. I will not use this Walgreen as my Pharmacy anymore.
I switched to this Walgreens because they were polite and efficient. However, within the last six months there seems to have been some sort of staffing change that has resulted in some really poor customer service. The technicians working at the window seem like they have received very limited training. They have difficulty pronouncing some medication names and just donโt seem like they are very confident in their knowledge of their job.On 6/14, I accompanied a friend to pick up a medication refill that she had called in 1 week ago and was told would be ready, but was not ready. The young man that spoke with her had very poor customer service. His voice was very monotone. He did not smile. He couldnโt tell my friend how or why the medication was not ordered. He didnโt seem to know how much medication he was filling since there was a discrepancy in the quantity on the prescription order and the quantity available in stock.Due to this discrepancy my friend was only sent home with a small amount of medication but was NOT warned about this. The young man just filled this limited quantity without communicating that this was all that was in stock and the fill was only partial. This resulted in A LOT of trouble for my friend due to how the insurance company processed the partial fill. This young man could have saved us a lot of trouble by communicating to us that there was a limited quantity in stock and letting us know that a partial fill might create difficulty with the insurance company. After 1.5 hours of talking with the insurance company and talking with two other Walgreens locations, my friend called back to speak with this young man and let him know that this ordeal was very frustrating and explained why. He didnโt seem to know what to say, just gave this long uncomfortable silence on the phone. My friend explained that she would have really appreciated more communication about the limited quantity of meds available and the consequence of a partial fill. He didnโt seem to know what to say. He did apologize but it just seemed like not only did he not really care to help, he didnโt have the knowledge base to help. Neither my friend nor I had any confidence in this young manโs ability to do his job.As I witnessed this experience my friend had, I thought about some things that could be improved. I think this young man needs to develop a better customer service โattitudeโ for lack of a better word. No more monotone, smile, be confident in what is being said. If this lack of customer service is prevalent among the techs (which it seems to be), maybe a revamped hiring protocol/training program is in order.Coming from a customer service job myself, I understand that providing good service is not an easy task. However, I think that if you want your customers to say good things about you and keep coming back, you should make some changes in how things are being done.
Lack of customer service for the pharmacy side. Do what they have to, but no more. We were the last car in line at closing, the other car got their prescription and began to drive away at 9:02. The attendant closed the blinds and when I pressed the page button, he said we closed at 9:00. I was very surprised by this customer service. With so many pharmacies to choose from, I would think customers would be treated better.
They basically accused me of being a junky after I hobbled in on a cane after losing 100lbs in the hospital. The young Indian woman especially needs to be reassigned to West Texas for her inflated self concern over that of her patients. Ive had 7-10 doctors, specialists and transplant surgeons all evaluate me and take me on as patients. Not a single one has even mentioned the drug in question. Maybe she needs to go back to school and be recertified before being allowed to work anywhere again since someone supposedly educated in the use of medications could immeadiately see how sick I was.
The pharmacy and pharmacist have got to he the worst on this side of town. The pharmacist did everything but call me a druggie. She had the nerve to ask me do I know how to take my meds and how many do I take a day ? I will go anywhere but here to get my meds. The pharmacist is the devil herself. Dont waste your time or money.
We stopped here for the FedEx drop off and were told they dont do it. They are listed on the Walgreens site as a location with this option. Just go to the FedEx location across from La Frontera, on Louis Henna.
My son and I love our neighborhood Walgreenโs, while staff changes time to time (we have come to this one regularly since 2011), they always seem to remember my son and interact with him. Mr. Sharmi is our favorite cashier! Also hands down to some of the photo employees...long overdue thanks to the girl who took our passport photos last summer that did everything to get them just right (and really cared and did not get impatient with my sonโs goofy antics) and a couple years back when I took my son to Disney (which was a big deal) and the gentlman working the photos when my order came in went waaaay out of his way to fix my photos and essentially customize some photos just because. Anyhow, I am a big fan as you can tell.
First off this is my walgreens even if i moved i would drive to this one. I decided to give a review because i saw that someone had said that shasmi is their fave cashier. He is my buddy. Hes so friendly, knowledgable and professional. I stop here several times a week, the store is always immpecable, the pharmacy is always bustlin but on top of it. Walgreens! Give credit where credit is due!!! This store is great!!!!
You cant be serious! The clerk wouldnt even answer my questions about where the organic makeup was located. Then I get to the checkout line (after not finding the thing I came there for) and the cashier couldnt bring herself to smile or say anything to me. The customer service needs improvement. Not to mention that I waited 10 minutes in line.
Very convenient, But if you CAN go to HEB. Save a few bucks
Dont use this location they have very bad customer service
AWWFUL!!!!! MY DOCTOR SENT MULTIPLE RXS FOR MIGRAINE MEDICATION AND I GOT AN ALERT THAT IT WAS READY AND I GET THERE AND NOTHING. MY DOCTOR SENT ANOTHER ONE. NOTHING. I AM IN SO MUCH PAIN. THEY CLAIMED THEY WOULD CALL MY DOCTOR AND AFTER THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED, THEY SAID THEY DIDNT HAVE TIME.
DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.. I was detained by the RR police due to the store calling them saying i was shoplifting...they said they have video evidence.. what they have is video of me BUYING a Mt. Dew and smokes with my credit card.Police issue me a CRIMINAL TRESPASS WARNING and told never return..WTF WOW,Hear i am a paying customer who has done NOTHING wrong and made to look like a criminal and told never to return ??? I feel VIOLATED AND MAD !!!***** DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION *****
