Jesse the store manager has the most amazing customer service skills. He has helped us twice over the years. He is so knowledgeable. So patient and can make everyone in the store feel heard even if he is shuffling customers. Hes rare, in a world where people no longer take pride in their work. If you want to get things done and get them done right, see this guy!

I walked in in hopes of information about the microsoft surface pro. A woman came and greeted me within 2 secs of walking in the door. She was amazing and very helpful. Very friendly. The type of person who gave great vibes. Her name was Alexa. I will come back to this specific store based on how she treated me as a customer and helped me. She was beyond honest when answering my questions. Gave me plenty of options since the store did not carry what i was interested in. She would be the ONLY reason I go back and purchase something from in store rather than online.

Lisa is incredibly rude and has an awful attitude. She literally rolled her eyes at us when we asked for help. She did not care to assist in any way and she was sitting on the bench with all the new phones acting like she couldn’t be bothered. She’s apparently an “assistant manager”, but I did not see any characteristics of a good leader in the way she acted today. She seemed so annoyed the entire time, and we left because of her disrespectful attitude. If you work in customer service, learn to respect customers and treat them with kindness. Such a shame.

Walked into this store with hope in my heart and I was quickly met with despair. I finally convinced my wife to let me get the iPhone 13 and was extremely excited. We passed by this att store and my wife asked if I wanted it now, to which I responded “say less my guy”. We walked into the store and was greeted by a dog water lady. She was training the newbies and was immediately rude and rolled her eyes when I asked for the iPhone 13. She then continued to be super rude and pawned us off to a trainee. Her name was Lisa but she acted like a Karen. She ruined the entire experience for us and had us leaving sayin “sheeesh”. She was very mean and also was on her phone the entire time on Facebook. We chose to just leave. Lisa put the att in attitude.

I would honestly avoid this store at all costs. We walked in wanting to become new customers because we were disappointed with the bad cell service we were getting with T-Mobile. We had two different people help us and were told that we would keep the same number from T-mobile; however, they incorrectly inputted our numbers into the system. For example, the last four digits of both of our numbers were flipped. Come to find out, and they were landlines from a different carrier, so we could not even keep the number. The next day we drive another 45-60 minutes depending on traffic to get back to that location to only have the assistant manager come sit down with us annoyed with the problem we brought in and no solution other than driving all the way back home and grabbing the boxes the phones came in and restarting the process. That was not an option for us that day, neither did we have the time to make another trip back and forth. However, she lives in Killeen, and so that was her way of showing empathy but making sure she told us that she drives further, like it is a competition. Next, she said that she would waive the restocking fees if we brought the phone boxes back as if she was doing us a favor or something. She was rude, had no people skills, and could not help us, only inconvenient us. Fast forward to later that night. We got in touch with another AT&T store, and they told us that we did not have to return the phones, but they could cancel the wrong numbers and put the ported numbers from T-Mobile to a new SIM card and do it that way. They also told us there was no reason for us to come in and sit in the store for 3 hours as we did over the weekend at the other store. They were able to help us over the phone, and all we had to do was pick up the new SIM cards. My husband goes and picks up the new SIM cards and finds out the Round Rock store off of University had not even put in the correct type of SIM cards into each of our phones. They were not the 5G SIM cards. We also found out that my husbands active duty military discount was not even applied to the account. It sounds like maybe that store has not had the proper training at all. Im not sure if it is because they are not a corporate store or not. However, it seems like it should have been a quick and easy experience switching cell phone carriers, but it ended up turning into a never-ending nightmare at that store. It was sad to hear other AT&T stores embarrassed by the lousy job and the mistakes the University store made on behalf of AT&T. It is pretty bad when you hear other AT&T representatives and managers at other stores talk about how they have never seen this happen and how they must have not of had any training at the University store. I would keep away from this business, especially if you are a new customer. You will have better luck and an easier experience going to the AT&T store off of Williams Dr in Georgetown or the one off of Sundance Pkwy in Round Rock. Please, dont go through the headache we went through for four days straight, and to top it all off we did not even have a working number due to an incompetent store. The saddest part of it all is that we just wanted the mistake fixed, we know people are human, but when they cant even fix their own mistake properly, you know to just stay away. New customers seek a new place, please.

I was about to give up on ATT, due to there outsourcing and getting thing done in a timely manner. The Outsourcing in other countries was taking a simple process and making it into a very complicated and frustrating task to experience by phone.Then I meet Lisa and her team at the Att store 210 in Round Rock Texas.Lisa started working with me on the issues at hand and had them taken care of before we left the store.Come to find out she was walking out the door to go home when i came in very frustrated and ready to dismiss Att all together after many years of service.Lisa stayed way over her time and never said a word about her being off the clock just to make sure i was satisfied.Lisa and her team, stayed in constant contact with me for several days to make sure i was happy and not having any issues with my service.So now of course if i have any issues, the first call is to her store 210 on University.Good job Lisa and team for keeping me with Att.Att owes you big time!Thanks again

I absolutely love the AT&T store on University Blvd. in Round Rock. I have been going there for years and the staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable regarding plan changes and phone upgrades. I would like to give the highest recommendation to Jesse Marquez who helped me on my last visit, both on the phone 2 times and in person in the store. I had problems with a bill that I needed help resolving as well as needing to do an upgrade on 2 of our phones. I went in with a list of several questions and Jesse was knowledgeable, kind, and patient with each question/issue. He truly went above and beyond both one the phone and in person. He even got his manager Stephen involved to help resolve my billing problem. I was supposed to call AT&T about a phone cancellation, but Jesse went ahead and called them while I was at the store and helped me get the line cancelled and to asked if I could receive a credit for a mistake that had been made. I had questions about cases and screen protectors and he went through different options with me and found some in the store that were on sale, which saved me a great deal of money. Any sales reps could have been frustrated with all the different issues I had, but Jesse really seemed like he just wanted to help and that is exactly what he did. He definitely deserves a raise or promotion. I will continue to only go to this store for all my needs rather than online or any other place because of staff like him who provide excellent customer service.

Jesse did a great job of helping us update our AT&T plan. He remained patient and knowledgeable about every aspect of the plan transition. While finishing up at the store he had to leave due to a unexpected family event but left us in good hands with another employee. He later followed up to make sure everything was taken care of and appropriate handled. As frustrating as it can be when dealing with phone plans/companies, Jesse made it simple and seemed to actually care that we had the most appropriate plan and phones for our needed. Thanks to everyone at this location!

I recently moved in from Miami to Austin and my last carrier It dosent have a good connection in the area; so I went to this store to change my line to AT&T. I was attended for Gary Bassett; such a nice and helpful guy. He explained to me all the options that the carrier offers and He recommended the best plan to fitted with my requirements. The best costumer service ever and the connection is a lot of better than my previous carrier.

This was literally the most painless process thanks to Jesse! I was completely done with the previous carrier (Metro PCS) and I was in need of a new iPhone. I placed an order online and within 15 mins the phone was ready for curbside pick up. Jesse was so pleasant and extremely helpful and patient. He even saved me 10 dollars off my billing by taking the time to see if AT&T offered a discount with my employer and they did! And just a switch of a button AT&T was able to saved my previous phone number and restore the rhythm! I was in and out within 10 mins. Thanks Jesse!

If you have a complex situation or need help with your online account, ask for Lisa. She is extremely helpful, very smart, and able to solve any problem. ATT would benefit from using Lisa in a higher level position such as training all the other store reps. for example. Hold onto that lady, ATT!!

Multiple people without masks inside the store. AT&T Employees did nothing, even after I pointed it out to them. Also, after 5 hours over 3 days, on the phone, I was told that a trade-in was possible with my new phone and they arranged for me to take care of it at a store, but when I got to the store, the story was different and I was forced to change our plan. AT&T, as usual, lies to its customers on a regular basis. Single most dishonest and incompetent company Ive ever dealt with.

I had so much trouble switching my from my previous carrier to AT&T via the online webpage. I had several support reps trying to help me get service on the phone as well as online and after several failed attempts I finally called the store. I spoke to Lisa who was very understanding and helping. I came in and explained the situation and she was able to get me up and running in no time. I usually prefer to do business online but it’s nice to know there’s an actual person you can talk to that is willing to help. Definitely appreciate all the assistance Lisa provided and would recommend her to help anyone else out. So far I’m a satisfied customer.

If anyone has been treated bad I recommend you going to see what Sprint has to offer. I switched and I got $500 deposited in my credit union account plus they bought my contract out and I got 5 lines unlimited data for $100/mo. They also had FREE phones for my little kids for their 1st phones. I recommend you going to the Sprint Store on 79 near the Walmart and ask for Jenn or Noelle. They were so great and took care of all my needs!!!!!!!!

It was a good experience and due to things beyond the young ladies control I could not add a third and forth line to my acct. So I called the number she gave me to find out what the problem was. I found out it had to do with a home alarm service I had. The alarm service from what I knew was completely handled and by the way 2 years old!!. I am going to fight this and now the question is who will provide me with my new phone service!!! Again not her fault yet!!!Her is where she screwed me.. So as I am trying to get this resolved with the AT&T the guy on the phone said he would need to run my credit again (AGAIN) YES THEY PULLED IT YESTERDAY ...I WAS NEVER TOLD MY CREDIT WAS BEING PULLED, I WOULD HAVE SAID NO I AM BUYING A HOUSE.. She pulled my credit she never told me she she was doing that, she never gave me anything to sign saying it was ok to pull my credit.. I work in an industry where I deal with peoples credit everyday.Now I am not dumb I know if you get a new phone they need to pull your credit, but I have been an AT&T customer for about 15 years now!!!!Lets see if AT&T really cares??? I feel like AT&T is going to leave me on the hook for the $600.00 and there is no way for them to erase pulling my credit without my knowledge.

After having had a horrible experience with the Palm Valley location I was very reluctant to go in another AT&T store. But I got awesome customer service from Katelyn on Saturday when my son and I went to get our new phones activated. She knew what she was doing. She was extremely friendly and thorough, unlike the nitwit on Palm Valley. Katelyn spent close to two hours and didnt miss a thing. I will absolutely return to this location with any further business. I just wish we had gone there initially!! I would have saved myself time and grief and she would have gotten the commission from our purchase. I highly recommend Katelyn and the University store!

Service is good here. It’s the company ATT I have a problem with. Been a long time customer pooling internet, tv and phone for 4yrs. Gigapower has gotten slower the last two years and shows up 300-400MPS now. Even the technician they came out was perplexed. Nothing corrected. Then I got the advice from ATT store person to switch from Uverse + Gigapower to Direct TV + gigapower to keep my bundles rates. Why? Because I was about to drop uverse as they wanted to increase my monthly cable charges. I agreed and the ATT personnel did the switch for me at ATT STORE. Fast forward to today .... ATT is over billing me because they claimed my cable and GIGAPOWER was never bundled. I spent 3 different occasions on their customer hotline, customer retention, with supervisors jumping on... tallying up 5 hours and each time, they committed to fixing the problem and it never got fixed. I called the ATT store for help and I just walked out of there after getting the response that they couldn’t help me and I could only keep trying with the ATT 1-800 help line. I was told that they couldn’t access anyone to solve my problem and that once they sold the business, they can’t do anything else. Selling a service should come with responsibilities to resolve problems, especially when they are your own! Lastly, I should have taken it as an omen 8 months ago when I saw an extremely angry old man upset at the very same thing I just described. I gave ATT the benefit of the doubt then but no more. So, message is Buyers Beware., and hope you have a much better experience than me!

I was in 2 days back to back with my elderly grandma dealing with billing issues. The first day was a Sunday, and the 1st rep. we approached basically refused to help since he did not have prior knowledge of the issue. Then i watched him tell our rep. that he wasnt going to assist with a waiting customer, because he didnt do sales either. It struck me as very unprofessional, as everyone should be able to help any customer that comes in. Especially when a rep. os about to take 5-30 mins. Anywho, this review is about Kristian. He was awesome!! He had helped my grandmother a few weeks ago. There was billing issues, and after going back this weekend he was able to confirm and assist us with everything we needed. He was extremely patient with her, and went out of his way both days, to call customer service himself and make sure everything was in order. He made my grandmother feel comfortable again when she was about to just cancel! Thank you soo much Kristian!

I put one star because I could not but 0 stars, 4 weeks ago went in to add my wife phone to my account, shut down Direct TV in her name and put Direct TV in my name. 3 weeks later we realized nothing had changed even though Direct TV reps came out and changed equipment. I went back and they all seemed confused and so I came back again, they realized their employee never did the paper work the day we were there the first time. We are now in an ATT nightmare trying to correct their mistake. They did credit back some money but now a week later my wifes phone is still not on my account. ATT is trying to charge me more for my phone, getting phone calls my Direct TV is getting cut off but when I try to pay the bill they say they do not recognize the account number. Now I am going to make my third trip to fix their mistake. Go to another store. ATT stores are not by own by ATT

Mistakes after mistakes and I’ve spent more than 4 hours with overseas call centers who claim they will fix the problems but when the next bill comes, it’s still messed up. Saturday/Sunday I want to this location to get the down price on annApple watch. The representatives Christopher was VERY RUDE! NOt once did he ask how my day was, why I wanted the Apple Watch etc. he proceed to tell me it was a $100 down payment. Which was crazy... here it is today and I went to THREE AT&T locations Retail and Corporate and I been told by representatives even calling and they all said 0 down with $33.. Christopher didn’t even tell me which model was wanting the $100. I was willing to pay it but he was really rude and I took my services elsewhere. Today I am enjoying my 0 down Apple Watch.. Christopher u need to learn how to have better customer service etiquette bc my experience with u was HORRIBLE! Even when u activated my Husbands Samsung note and my kids where with me. U kept huffing and puffing. I will never have u assist me when returning to this location so when I come in pls don’t speak to me unless apologizing. I’m beyond pissed with your service.

We were there for 20-25 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. One big guy made eye contact with me a few times, between glances at the tv playing ESPN, but he never said anything or even smiled. 10 minutes later, we gave up and walked out. Ill never go back to that location.

Went into this location twice in one week. First time was to upgrade a phone. My daughter just bought a new phone and we needed to move sim card as well as contacts. The techs were amazing, one worked on the old phone while the other moved contacts. Great tag team. In and out with great service.2nd time, was due to an oopsie. (read instruction manuls ALWAYS) Hector V was awesome. He unfortunately was not able to help. (We were a lost cause) But he referred us to a repair company and even called ahead for pricing and availability for a specific service person. Above and beyond Hector. Thank you! That kind of customer service is a dying breed.Definately visit the team at AT&T university. Right next door to HEB. You wont be dissapointed.

So apparently I visited this place 8 months ago and gave it a 2. Editing due to recent visit. Bought the iPhone 7 plus right before Christmas for a gift. When I gave it to my wife and we was looking at it to exchange the sims cards we noticed that the slot piece for the Sims card was broken. Tried to return it for one that was not broken. Manager said he could not return it. He said we inspected the phone for defects. He turned it on and said to check for pixelation when we sat down to inspect the phone. At the end he refused to return the phone or fix it due to it being damaged. From the time he put it back in the box till it was opened as a gift it was untouched. Being skeptical but since he put the sims card in it I think he broke it and hoped I wouldnt notice. Well I didnt now will have to deal with apple to get it fixed. This is a 2nd bad visit we always try a place a few times to give it a second shot never know someone might have been having a bad day. Now I know its just a bad store to deal with.
