Unbelievable! The team at A1 Factory Direct Flooring head by Miho were fast and efficient. The job was done to perfection. They installed a laminate in 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and it was absolutely perfect. They kept the place clean and finished in 2 days (including the demo of carpet). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

Referred to me by a real estate agent hoping to gain my business. Zack Widdes was named by this agent as the guy to talk to. He came and measured and, aiming for our stated budget, he recommended lines of carpet.While shopping it out, I had two other quotes, they were very different for the exact same spaces. First off, Zacks measurements were way off. if I bought from them and they came out with the amount of carpet and vinyl flooring according to his measurements the job would have been delayed.The grade of carpet and padding at the price per square foot installed was awful. Carpets twice as heavy and heavier pads where available at other stores for less than the cheap garbage that was being offered at A1. The vinyl flooring was similar in terms of thickness and price. On top of all that, the warranties were better for these other brands as well.Needless to say, Ill never do business with A1 nor will I with that real estate agent.A little research and youll be able to figure out what I learned. Save your time, money and get a better product.

We are extremely happy about our experience with A1. We worked directly with Rich and the entire process was seamless. We took a few floor samples home on the first day to test them in our house. The next day we went back and took a few more home. Then, once the floors that we chose were delivered, the new floor was installed within a couple of days.A few months after we had our main living area redone, we decided to rip the carpet out of our bedroom and continue the flooring from the living area (we live in a one-story home). I texted Rich, and within a few more days our bedroom was done.This is a great company, with some really stellar employees. Ill be using them for all of my flooring needs in the future.

The install was great. We really like the floor and it looks fantastic. Miho and his crew were the best craftsmen we have ever met. Very punctual, polite and kept us informed all through the install. From the very first minute, they called and gave us status and arrived on schedule every day. The quality of their work is surpassed by noone. Rich was a great salesman, accommodated our schedule, explained our options and helped us with our choice. Rich loaded us up with samples and then met at our home and went over measurements and costs. The price was well below competition. You cant go wrong with A-1!!

Not happy right now with A1 flooring. They told me it would take 2 days to put vinyl flooring in my three brdrooms. It has now been over a week...and my house has been torn apart. They didnt order enough...then because I have sautillo tile at each of the doorways, they needed a transition piece. I was fine with that. However, the pieces they brought and installed are the wrong color and they arent wide enough so they are not glueing properly. They have stuff from my garage on top of them blocking all the doorways hoping they dont buckle. Really really not happy. If this was going to be an issue, they should of told me before they installed the floor. Ugh!!

- Came referredA realtor friend referred me to A-1 Flooring for a major condo renovation I was doing at the beginning of this year. Distance wise, its about 45 minutes out of my way. I must have passed a couple dozen other places large and small on the way there.- Make an appointment and be preparedThe salesman Rich was helpful. I came prepared with some ideas and color samples. He offered good suggestions to fit the decor and price range I wanted. He let me take all the time I needed in the store, and also let me borrow a few samples to take back to the condo.- Reasonably priced, complete serviceUltimately I purchased carpet for the upstairs, laminate for the downstairs, and porcelain floor and wall tile for the bathrooms through A-1. The prices with installation, plus baseboard painted and installed, were fair I thought, and better than the big DIY warehouses.A-1 can also take out the old flooring, but I had already decided to do my own demolition to save money. I also decided that I would rather go with one company that does it all, instead of trying to coordinate several different ones. I was already juggling electricians, plumbers, painters and other contractors, so I didnt need more of that.- Excellent workman-like installationOne crew of 3 came out, worked on the flooring for about three and half days, and it was done. Period. The floors were down, the baseboard up, completely painted and caulked. The place was clean when they left too. This is where A-1 knocked it out of the park.Some of the subfloors were in rough shape. The install crew fixed and leveled everything a few days before starting the carpet and laminate installations. They had painted the baseboard offsite with the color I chose beforehand and then installed it at the end.An affiliated guy installed the porcelain floor and wall tiles. That part took much longer because of the nature of the work, and because this guy was so exacting. The tilework came out beautifully though. I had people over to the condo after it was finished. They noted the quality work these guys did, and I received a number of compliments.Hiccups happen and this was no exception. During the install, we had one oops moment about the direction of the planks for the two downstairs areas. It would have looked good either way, no one would ever know, but the downstairs guy took it to heart when I wrinkled my nose a bit. He was about 1/3 done but he picked it all up and promptly re-oriented it without complaint. (Im sure it helped that this was a floating install!) It felt like he genuinely wanted me to be happy with the finished look. Very cool. That kind of customer focus is why I marked 5 stars instead of 4.- Repeat businessI had another studio unit update mid-year that is now completed. With the good experience at the condo, I decided to use A-1 again. The bedroom and bathroom flooring came out great. The prices were just as reasonable as the first time.A-1 sent a different crew of 3 to this job for the laminate install. The second crew was every bit as good as the first one. They finished the studio flooring in a single day, including patching the cracks in the concrete, and installing and caulking all the pre-painted baseboard. The same tile guy did the bathroom floors and walls. Totally worth it.I have a third whole house update scheduled in a couple months. Ill be trekking out to A-1 soon to select the materials. If this house update goes well too, I dont think Ill be going anywhere else for flooring for a very long time.
