My husband and I recently purchased a Kia from this dealership and had a great experience. We were in and out of there in 1/2 the time its taken to purchase a vehicle in the past from other dealerships. Steve who assisted us with selecting the vehicle and finalizing the sale was friendly, professional and very easy to work with. I just got my car and Karmarie was great about showing me all of the features of the car and there was a lot to go over. Unfortunately it was raining when I picked up my car but other than that everything was perfect.

Not a lot of masking going on with the staff.... makes me uncomfortable. When I called in my reservation for service the confirmation came back for a different model than I have. Picked up after the service desk was closed and the cashier was clearly angry that she had to go retrieve my paperwork. I only needed an oil/ filter change and that seems to have been done well. Car was cleaned inside and out too which I really liked. So good work but not so good support.

Honest review. If you have a job or kids do not go here for services. They will let your car sit there for days without doing anything. Almost impossible to get a hold of someone after the front desk transfers your call. If they say theyll have someone call you back keep calling because they will never call back. Courtesy warning from a hardworking man please avoid this place for your own good. God bless.

I went to Bob Rohrman Kia in search of a used car with a very limited budget. Aldo Rodriguez listened carefully to what I was looking for and my budget restraints. He made recommendations based on the cars I wanted to see and was very upfront and honest. We never felt rushed or pressured and Aldo was helping another client at the same, very attentive! I ended up buying a Kia Forte that I had not considered but he recommended and couldnt be happier! Worth the drive from Crystal Lake to have such stupendous and compassionate service. I had an exceptional experience at Schaumburg Kia. After a few poor experiences while shopping for my new Kia Sorento Hybrid, I came across this dealership. My phone interactions were immediately an indication of professional, honest people. Steve was straightforward, no BS (as I have come to expect at dealerships unfortunately.) Though I had to drive over two hours to get there, it was well worth it! These guys were a pleasure to work with. In a time where other places are price gouging, Schaumburg Kia kept prices at MSRP. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! If I could put 0 stars I would. My family wanted to purchase a car from this dealership but after careful consideration, we realized the car was not worth the price tag. It was sold as a brand new car but the brakes were worn and there was a scratch on the hood. Although we never got in possession of the car, the dealer would not let us back out of the contract. Again do not buy a car here, they will scam you!

Beyond horrible. The service department is the worst I have ever experienced. I cant even get anyone to answer the phone. The voicemail for the service department is always full. I dropped my car off and have been without a car for days with no answers or help. I have had five people tell me that they will find out answers and call me back with no call back. All I need was an oil change and they keep telling me they have no time for it. This makes me never want to come to this place again ever! Stay far away from here!

I would have given this place a 5 star I did not because although they were great in assisting us with the vehicle we wanted there was an issue with a feature that although was listed on their website as well as other car sites, the vehicle did not have it (remote start) and even though it wasnt a deal breaker it most certainly was disappointing in that they basically washed their hands from it stating that there are disclaimers absolving them from any misprints or features stated that the vehicle most certainly is not equipped with.In my opinion that is deceiving the customer.They also stated that they would assist in having an aftermarket remote start put on at a discounted price and have yet to hear back from them.Again other than that they were great in assisting us with keeping our payment at or near our budgeted payment and very polite.

We are from WI and recently purchased a KIA carnival from this dealership. We were assured that they sell to out of state people all the time. Unfortunately after 30 days we still do not have a title or plates. Now somehow we have to work with the WI DMV even though we payed $438 title fee.Go somewhere else and don’t waste your time at this dealership. Worst customer service of all time. If I could give a zero I would.

We found a car they advertised online that we liked. We scheduled an appointment with to test drive, confirmed the appointment with Natasha to test drive the car we selected right before we took an Uber from the city to the dealership, only to find that the car had been sold the day before (so they say). Then the manager, Nate, tried to sell us on another, similar car for 3k-5k more.Pretty sure that is a text-book bait and switch. It is definitely shady business.

Seems to me car dealers do not want to make any deals they just want to rip you for every penny youve got and they say they have new cars coming in and they need one or two and have very little in the way of used cars that are any good they want to use cars for next to nothing and boosted their prices on new cars way way up guess its not a good time to buy no rebates no incentives nothing

Fantastic service all-around. I spoke to sales over the phone and they sent me a text of what the final price would be with a billing breakdown. Schaumburg Kia was always honest and did not try to salesman me and pressure me into buying anything. After agreeing to buy the car, they go over a few things if you want packages but do not force it. I worked with Michael in store and he was laid back and easy to work with. Appreciated the service and the ease in buying a car!

Went to buy a used car, and they would not let me test drive unless i submitted a credit application because the car was too expensive even though the car was listed at $27,000. I did end up purchasing the car eventually. However, the buying experience was very bad. The car was basically empty when I test drove it, and Ruben told me that used cars get 10 gallons of gas, but it was only filled up with 5 when I drove it off the lot.It was a busy day and I ended up waiting over 45 minutes to talk to the finance department to finalize payment. When I went to finalize payment, they had a miscommunication about the pricing so I had to explain that my salesperson already agreed to waive the extra $1500 for kia certification on a CPO vehicle... Why are they trying to get people to pay extra for the certification when the car is listed as CPO online? It already went through the inspection and they try to milk another $1500 out of you to get your car certified even though it already was? Without the certification you do not receive the remainder of the 100k powertrain warranty. They also added an extra $350 for vin etching, which I did end up paying without looking too closely so they got me there.Lastly, they could not give me license plates because some system was down when I made the purchase, so I had to go drive back to the dealership the following Monday to get my plates. It was a 40 minute drive each way, and I asked them to recoup my gas and fill it up just a couple gallons since I had to go out of my way and I didnt even receive the 10 gallons that was initially promised, but they were extremely adamant about how the system being down was not their fault and they cannot pour any gas into a used car. I would not purchase another car from them again.

Sharing my story after giving multiple attempts withe dealer to resolve the issues.The price listed on their website was not the public price. There were some required accessories and protections which increased the price.Then they forgot the floormats and then tried to tell me they werent included until I was able to reference the MSRP page that showed them included - what else was included in the price that I didnt get? They did send me the floormats.I asked to finance with my local credit union. I was told I had to do their financing for the rebate, but when I got there to sign everything the loan was with a different financial instead. They required me to use their 3rd party provider for the out of state plates and I was told I could not transfer my existing plates. I later learned that they could. Now 6 weeks after the purchase, the title still has not been created and registered to me. My drive away tag expired two weeks ago and I have no documentation to show that I paid for the registration - only the bill of sale.I am supposed to be excited about my new car, but instead Im frustrated by the process. :(

Part 2 of our blower motor problem: After having the blower issue fixed (in the shop for 23 days) on October 20, problems began showing up again December 3. The blower stopped working again, but started up again after driving over some bumps. This same thing happened again on Dec 10 and Dec 12. I contacted Kia on Dec 12 and got an appointment for Dec 15. I talked with the tech and let him know exactly what was happening. When I took it in the first time, I mentioned that a loose wire seemed a likely problem, and I reiterated that idea when I took it in the second time. I called several times to find out the status. This time they had the car for 22 days, but found the loose wire - no charge.However, I had already paid $1,714 for the first fix. I spoke with the service manager asking if the first repair was even necessary, as it obviously hadnt fixed the problem. He said we needed the part and that if we didnt need the new part, Kia was down one part because they disposed of the one they took. I stated that the fix only required tightening a loose wire (same diagnostic I received from another mechanic - not part of Kia) and that its not my fault that they disposed of a functioning part. The service manager brought the tech in to confirm that the original part was needed and that the tech reattached the wire to the new part. Im highly suspicious that the first repair wasnt even necessary. The fact that they misdiagnosed the problem the first time we took it in cost us a lot of time and money. The customer service at Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Kia is definitely sub-par. Going to the dealer for service usually means top notch service, because their name is on the car. In this case, they really dropped the ball. Let it be a warning to everyone else. This car was our second Kia, and it will definitely our last. If this posting would allow it, I would have given zero stars, but in order to post our review, we were required to give at least one star.

When they call you to ask to come in and check out the car that you wanted an offer from kbb, they obviously seen the make and year of the car before you come in from the website. but then decide to really low ball you and turn around and say they want nothing to do with your car once you get there. My family bought a new carnival from Michael Mallory and the shamburg kia team. It has been nothing but a nightmare since. Here we are 28 days later. Our trade-in still hasnt been paid off (Ive already had to make another payment to keep our credit intact). Michael told us for weeks that he had been working with the managers to fix our problems, but upon talking to the management today they assure me he hasnt brought it up a single time. They owe us a 200.00 gas card that they keep giving us the run around about, and so much more. I wouldnt recommend doing business here.

I would never shop this dealership again. I corresponded with an internet sales agent for a couple of weeks as I had a specific car I was looking for. Both her and her sales manager continuously texted or emailed to try to get me to come into the dealership to view the car. On Saturday, I arranged an appointment with her via text through her sales manager for Monday. On Monday, I arrived at the scheduled time and asked for the sales agent. Kamarie went to the back and came back and said he would be helping me as Daina, the internet sales agent, just gets your info and gets you in the door. Kamarie then proceeded to inform me that the car was a service loaner and was not on site and he didnt know exactly when it would be back or how many miles it had on it. I informed him I had not been apprised it was a service loaner and the miles made a big difference to me, so unless there was a break on the price, I was not interested in purchasing that vehicle. He stepped away to see what the best price he could do would be and then returned with a quote that was about $500 MORE than Daina had quoted me by email. Needless to say we left and I found the car elsewhere, without all the miles and at a lower price.

Bad attitude and one of the worst customer experience I have ever had. I agree that the chip shortage has made the cars in demand at this point, but this dealership had a few salesperson just standing idle at the front desk and no one even bothered to ask what we came in for for the first 5 mins. I went in twice after I got a confirmed appointment for test driving a Telluride. The first time they said the car is in inspection and they apologized and asked me to come in after 3 hours. I called them 3 hours later and they said the car was available for a test drive and I was in the dealership within 25 mins. They said that the car sold an hour ago and they were not apologetic and said this is how it is. it looks like the no one talks to each other before granting an appointment to the customer. If I buy a car, I would also consider the fact that I need to take my car in for a service down the lane. I would not go there for any purchase or service if this is the attitude that I get. One person who claimed to be the manager also came in between and said Lets end this here. There is nothing more we can do. Most of the staff over there also looked like they ganged up and they were speaking from behind the manager and insulting the customer. What can I say.. Telluride is good, but this dealership is the worst.. even if it means driving a few extra miles, I would try some other Kia dealership.Updated 6/18: Thanks for the response. I would expect someone to reach back to me and apologize for the experience that I had. I received calls from Orland Park and Gurnee to test drive but I chose to stick with you guys just because you are in the neighborhood. I lost an entire day due to this. If I had gone in either of the places in the morning I would have test driven and probably ended up buying a car there. Rather I chose to stay in my neighbourhood which was a mistake. You can speak to your manager Al**(not calling out the name) she asked me to come in the second time after the car was sold an hour ago(confirmed by your sales guy Fran**(dont want to call out names again). The person who claimed to be the manager(I highly doubt that due to the way he interacted with me) was also not customer friendly and all he said was Lets end this here. There is nothing we can do now .Please remember that Customer is priority and all of the people at the front desk kind of ganged up against us. I have registered a ticket with Kia as well regarding the arrogant behavior that I felt in your dealership .

Sold my brother Ron Sheline a Carnival and they have had nothing but problems with shamburg kia. Cant get anyone on the phone. Payoff on the trade still isnt done almost a month later, empty promises, and lots more. Avoid this dealership if you want to have a professional experience

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I bought a car from here a month ago and traded my old vehicle. My old bank still hasnt received anything from them and when I try to get a hold of a general manager nobody ever answers. I just need my old car paid off !! Will never buy a car from here again.

Kudos to sales rep. Klaudia T. for a great customer service. After few hours of back and forth negotiations, we were able to reach desired outcome. I did not particularly like how they started negotiation process by presenting numbers that are extremely vague and almost looked like they were trying to get us in the trap. However, they showed us they cared for our business and proved they wanted to earn our trust and satisfaction. Overall, process seemed difficult, but their dedication and hard work deserves 5-stars.

They will not honor True Car pricing provided online and any prior communication with them via email will be disregarded.Sales personnel admitted that the price was just a gimmick to get people in the door. They will proceed to restart the negotiation at MSRP and will show no respect for you, or your time.

I got a GREAT deal on a 2016 Malibu LTZ!! Best price in the country using CARGURUS. I had it shipped to Washington State by Ship A Car Direct Co., they were great to work with also. I put my trust in the pictures on the Bob Rohrman Kia website and the word of my sales person Mike Delaney who was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. The car showed up a day early and was in excellent overall condition as I expected. Al in finance was great also!

Salespeople were nice. Price was decent. Process was a bit long. Problem is they waited 3 weeks after we signed the deal and I took home the vehicle to pay off my trade in, resulting in a late payment going on my credit report. Also their delay left a $14 balance on my trade that I now am responsible for. Would have given a better rating if not for their complete lack of urgency on that transaction.

The dealership experience was a mixed bag. One manager (Nate) was a pleasure to work with. He was top notch and was willing to work with you to get the deal done. The other manager (Todd) was not as much of a pleasure to work with. It almost felt like a good cop/bad cop routine. The salesman (Donny) was pleasant to work with although his misinformation was what caused my below experience to start.Make sure to check the fine details on the extras that the dealer will try to add on to your deal. Even though it says it is optional, the SmartIdentity option was on the final paper (used to help you when the car gets stolen or hacked, but only helps cover $1000 lol, might as well just get GAAP insurance), and when I asked if this feature was for the life of the car, the salesman said yes and listed all the features of the option (however, all of the hardware they list is installed prior to you even looking at the car, the actual thing you are paying for is the coverage and not the hardware thats already installed on the car).Upon going through the rest of the paperwork, it was apparent that it was only for 60 months. Upon reading that, I refused to have that put in the final deal. This resulted in the sales manager (Todd) saying that either I have to pay that fee or I wouldnt get the floor mats that I originally agreed upon when negotiating the deal. That part of the experience really had me wanting to take my business elsewhere. They were willing to nix the deal over that SmartIdentity charge. But, as the car I really wanted was available there, I eventually did have to give up the floor mats. To Todds credit, he did let me still have the all-weather trunk mat. But the interaction could have been a lot smoother.So to sum up, Nate was 5/5 (he was very pleasant the entire time and was very kind to interact with), Donny was 4/5 (besides the misinformation, he was very pleasant to work with and was very nice most of the time), and Todd gets a 3/5 (mainly for the callous interaction during signing and arguing about the SmartIdentity charge).Edit: Also, the DealerRater popup at the end will not physically let you leave a 5 star review for anyone on Mobile, so if people are constantly getting 4 star reviews, you know why.

Unfortunately, did not get the professionalism that other customers received, and they tried to over charge twice.Couple a months ago, I went online and got a quote for $1000 down, $2100 trade in on my car and $210 lease price of new car. At the dealership, Salesman came back with $1700 on trade in and around $250 for new car, then a manager got involved, added couple hundred on trade in and lowered the new car price, numbers were not matching I get up to leave and the manager tries one more time, miraculously i got my numbers, and the excuse was I was placed in a lower credit group.A family member likes my new car and wants to get one, I take them to Bob’s again because why not they welling to work it out, same process happening we walking with online numbers from Bob’s website, a lease price around $210 with $2000 down, salesman trying to convince us that $300 is the actual price because the money down is different, then that price drops to $250, then a manager comes around to repeat exactly what salesman said. Manager actually went out of his way to explain how 1500 in difference can add up to about 41 extra a month, and that credit group has no effect on price, but still somehow couldn’t explain why his price is way above the online quote. As we started leaving because again numbers not matching, the Manager got irritated, complained that we did not give him a chance to work it out, and walked away. Salesman last famous words were “You will literally be beating you head around and won’t find a price cheaper than this”.Went to Patrick Hyundai next door and got a Tucson for $220, and they throw in a remote starter.

Wonderful experience all around. Our initial contact was with Tasha who was extremely friendly, patient and followed up without being intruding. Over the couple of months we were deciding on our vehicle she checked in on us periodically and really made us feel comfortable going forward with Rohrman Kia of Schaumburg. We brought our trade into the dealership (which they made us a great offer) and ordered a Telluride with consultation from Tasha. We were made aware that the lead time would be 3-6months to receive the vehicle. 8 weeks later we got a call the our car was ready! Steve took over the process from there. He informed us that we could complete financing online. We were approved with a wonderful rate and did it all from the comfort of our home. With a newborn child and a toddler it would have been difficult to make it to Schaumburg to Chicago but Their concierge service took all of the hassle out of it. Steve drove out new car to our home gave us a tutorial and took the car we traded in back to the dealership. All touch points were great; professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Lastly, the Telluride is AMAZING. Not your typical car buying experience in the best way possible. Highly, highly recommend Bon Rohrman Kia and kudos to Tasha and Steve!
