This was the best eye appointment I’ve ever had. It was very thorough, everything was explained to me along the way, and all of my questions were answered. Kelly even spent weeks before my appointment to see what was covered by insurance so I knew exactly what to expect from a cost perspective. Dr. Huff is the best!

This is the best eye doctors office I have ever been to! The staff is friendly, the doctors are knowledgeable and share that knowledge, very thorough in their examination and pleasant. The opticians are extremely helpful and friendly. I have nothing bad to say about this business and I have referred at least ten of my friends, family and colleagues here.

Absolute 5 star experience. Had an emergency with my eye and did not have an optometrist in town. Tallahassee Eye Center was my first call, and they got me in the next day first thing in the morning. They knew that, based on the symptoms, it could not wait to be treated. Excellent service and friendly staff. 10/10 recommend.

This was my first visit to TEC. I was massively impressed with the friendliness of the staff and, Dr. Whaley couldnt have been more pleasant. She was professional in every respect while discussing and explaining my eye health. She is a medical provider who obviously cares about her patients and who manifests confidence in her chosen field.

I brought my 94 year old mother-in-law to the Center this morning to have a concern checked out. The staff and nurses were accommodating, professional and a pleasure to work with. The nurse taking pictures and doing the screening of my MIL’s eyes was patient and kind when my MIL did not understand the directions. Dr. Hough was perfect…doing more investigating and explaining every step. My MIL left the clinic feeling great and relaxed knowing her concern was not even really a ‘concern’! Visited Tallahassee Eye Center ironically on vacation on our way to New Orleans cannot say enough good things about this doctors office, Dr. Lassely was amazing. She really was willing to listen to any questions and was very patient even whipped out Google maps on her computer to help me figure out how to get where we need to go once we left there to continue on our vacation fantastic doctor. Wish she was in my area.

Comfortable setting. Very thorough. I changed from another eye care provider, who in the last 5 years was taken over by a national brand and the quality suffered as a result, to here. If the first visit is any indication, I think I found a new home.

I had a wonderful visit from the moment I walked in until I left the building. Very efficient and everyone was completely professional. Dr. Hough was very helpful and concerned with what I needed. The staff handled my purchase and made sure I had what I needed at a great price.

I am so fortunate to have found not only affordable VSP individual eye insurance, but also the Tallahassee Eye Center where I had my annual eye exam and selected new frames. The examination was thorough and the doctor was quite knowledgeable and took the time to explain the results of my exam. Selecting frames was super easy because the awesome tech who helped me gave her honest advice on how each frame looked. She also reigned me in from choosing over a dozen glasses! The customer service is top notch - and I would refer this practice to anyone.

Dr Catherine Hough is the best! Everyone else I interacted with there was great, from helping me get an appointment ASAP to helping me pick out new glasses. We had a semi-emergency, my son got something in his eye the night before.We called the Eye Center on a Friday morning before a holiday weekend as a walk-in appointment.They got us in there later that morning, the doctor was awesome and dug out the tiny object that was causing the problem.Highly recommended!

Never steered me wrong.)Tallahassee Eye Center went above and beyond to accommodate my needs for two pairs of glasses. They even completely retested me and remade the lenses for one pair when they were not working at all... at no charge. The second pair (needed for multiple computer screens) was right the first time.Everyone there is extremely helpful and conscientious, taking all the time necessary to do it right. Health and safety procedures are excellent.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Organized rooms and lobby. They took every precaution and sanitized everything right in front of you. When you try on glasses they immediately sanitize them when you’re done! I received an eye exam by Dr. Strickland at Tallahassee Eye Center for the first time yesterday, and the entire experience was amazing!! Every part of my experience (from making the appointment beforehand to checking out at the end) was executed flawlessly, and the entire staff was very committed to ensuring I felt comfortable. I observed them frequently sanitizing countertops and other touch points, and they really put me at ease regarding Covid-19.Dr. Strickland is a fantastic doctor! She explained the tests that were performed, and she discussed my lifestyle and vision needs to ensure she recommended contacts that would be a good fit. She has a great personality, is extremely knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a new eye doctor!
