Mark and Dr. Ruzicka were were super personable and helpful!!! Overall great experience, I was able to get in and get out in a timely manner.

Love our Target Optical, the one and only complaint is lack of space. This Target location seems to be busier than ever. With limited space as it is, its impossible for the Dr, patient and team to discuss patient needs in a confidential environment, therefor violating HIPAA Privacy. I suggest construction and building a bigger spot for the Optical setting. John and team are amazing btw!

The Doctor here is great! She made sure I had the right contact lens and was super informative about everything concerning my vision. She did not let me settle until I had the contact lens that were right for me. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. 08/13/21

I have never had such an intense exam ever as this one. The Doctor took her time, listened to what I had concerns on. Was patient when I asked to turn the lens back and forth to make sure I was picking the right lens. She had me look at a computer screen to make sure her prescription was accurate.She looked in my eyes and showed me pictures of behind my eyes. I totally recommend using Target Optical on Apalachee Parkway. !

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with an eye company. They did not see me until 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment and stated that they accepted my preferred method of payment over the phone and when I went to pay they did not accept my credit card and proceeded to discuss my form of payment for everyone to hear. The staff didn’t even try to rectify the issue they just stood there and forced me into paying for a service, thank goodness I had other forms of payments. There was a lack of urgency and professionalism with the entire staff at this establishment. I highly recommend to go to another practice if you are able to. I would rate this establishment a 0 but I am unable to. Please do be advised to go somewhere else for your eye care needs.

I have gone to see John, the Optician at Target, three years in a row now. I have never had such a wonderful experience while choosing frames! I can’t really see when I remove my glasses and John is perfect at putting the best frames on my face! I literally put my trust in him and he delivers every single time. Not only does he know his business, he also has a great personality. He always takes care of me and I wouldn’t go to anyone else! High praise to John!

Amazing Staff and fast service!The staff and doctor were amazing! I was nervous at first because of how small the office is, but in the end it didnt matter. They definitely have their system down to a science. They were able to process a good amount of appointments but still make each patient feel seen and valued. Everyone is so friendly and personable. They really make efforts to work with each patient and address any individual concerns or needs. Ive been going to the eye doctor for about 20 years now and this has been one of the best experiences Ive ever had!

We have been going to this location for a couple of years now. We meandered in on a whim and couldnt have had a greater experience. Told the employees we just wanted to look at frames. They were more than happy to let us look around and did not try to sell us any unnecessary services. We ended up purchasing two pairs of glasses. John, whose expertise is evident by his attention to detail, made the experience enjoyable and seamless. He was able to help with an insanely strong prescription and recommend which frames could support the thick lenses. As for frame aesthetics, John has a thorough understanding of why some frames might be preferable over others. He was happy to share his knowledge but never tried to coerce anyone to making an unnecessary purchase. When paying, he took the time to make sure we paid the lowest price possible, given our insurance benefits and any available promotions and discounts. (Theyre owned by Luxottica, so their prices are amazing.) Aside from executing top-tier service, John and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Instead of treating you like a potential sale, they treat you like people. I know Im not the only one who feels this way because I always see John greet customers by name.The eye exam with Dr. Amy Ruzicka was also a wonderful experience. You can tell shes passionate about her job. She took the time to explain the details about my prescription and happily answered any questions. She worked hard to make sure I got the prescription that worked best. Not only is she smart and professional, but she is super nice. You can tell is committed to her practice, and she goes out of her way to make sure her patients are comfortable.They are located in a busy Target, and like me, any shopper might meander on in to look at the frames. Many shoppers might do this at once, but this doesnt really matter if you book an appointment. You can book online and if you show up on time, the wait time is extremely reasonable. I dont think I have ever waited more than 15 minutes.10/10 highly recommend!

This was my first visit upon recommendation from a contact in my previous home store in Broward.I took a really long time to make the appointment because I honestly did not think that anyone could top the phenomenal service Meghan always provided in Broward.Well, John you blew it out of the park on this first visit!!! Not only is he knowledgeable of his craft, he gives good advice ladies! A real five star kinda guy!The doctor is patient and very pleasant; overall the staff is great.

Dr. Ruzicka is simply amazing! She was very attentive to my vision issues and very knowledgeable as well. The young lady (Kelly/Kally?) who conducted the eye imaging and the vision test before I saw the doctor was very sweet and kind. The opticians in the front were a joy. This was my first visit to Target Optical and I was impressed. The customer service was killer and I will keep coming back as long as this staff remains! I received my contact lenses and my eyeglasses at a quick turnaround. I have nothing but good things to say. My visit was in the beginning of April 2021.

Felt like I needed to update these reviews as there are several recent ones that are negative. I have never had anything but EXCELLENT customer service from John and his staff. He is always willing to work with me and my family on orders, insurance, returns, etc. We have recommended several other families to him over the years and they keep coming back as well. Keep up the good work!

Great experience and great customer service

Very horrible customer service. I arrived on time for my appointment and two gentleman came in after me 40 minutes late for theirs. I moved meetings to be able to be seen because my eyesight has drastically changed recently and very much needed care. Needless to say, I had to leave without a new prescription and watch another person take my appointment time. I dont understand why his time was more valuable than mine.

The first time I went was last year of May... the doctor was okay, she seemed like she wanted to get me and out and wasn’t very concerned. But the employee John was VERY helpful. Came back this year August 2018, John was again VERY helpful and answered all of my questions. The doctor was okay, she did my eye exam and didn’t schedule a follow up so I guess it didn’t matter to her if I came back or not... But all around John really is a great asset to Target Optical

I had such a great experienve here. Wasnt really looking forward to my exam and having to buy new glasses but the team here was so friendly and informative that it was actually very enjoyable. John was great and after greeting me in a very welcoming manner got me started on paperwork. Dr. Rudolfer was extremely personable and really took time to explain things during my exam. I had an idea of the lenses I wanted and they actually packaged my needs in a way that ended up costing much less than what I expected to spend. The team selection was really great and customer service was top notch.

Everyone was friendly, professional and prompt. I was taken right in. And they fit mu husband in immediately while we were there. There were so many frames I liked that it was hard to choose just one. I received my glasses in a week. They even came with a solid sturdy and nice looking case. Very pleased. (now to get used to bi-focals)

Horrible experience. They overcharge for their glasses and they are extremely rude. The younger doctor was very nice but the older doctor was awful. So is the man who works up front. I specifically told him I didnt want transitions and he added them to my glasses anyway. I had a 150 dollar credit from my insurance company to apply to the glasses. Even with the credit I had to pay over $400. Its ridiculous. All they care about here is making a commission. I went to a different eye dr this yr and they were 100% great.

I booked an appointment online and then it did not go through but I thought it did. I came in when it was scheduled and they could not see me until the next week. As I was leaving, I heard someone apologize to another person and it sounded like the same thing happened with her appointment but they were going to see her. They need to figure out their online scheduling. It wasted a couple hours of my day today!

Everyone was so amazing to me the eye exam Dr. Garider I believe is her name was so sweet and nice. My appt was at 5:20 and I had an eye exam, fitted for classes, picked them and paid and was gone by 6:15! The staff was so kind and knowledgeable and got me an awesome deal I walked out with coach glasses and the best lens only paying 99 dollars!! Will be back and go with my family!

Horrible service, big mess inside, unorganized, i came in for an apt at 1130, and they let the 12’o apt skip me. I waited 45 minutes for nothing.

Never ever again. Waited an hour past appointment time. Prescription he to be redone. Glasses had to be redone twice. Contact lenses trials take forever to come in. Horrible horrible experience.
