Got in right at my appointment time, they were in network for my insurance and they carry a huge selection of frames. I am a big OAKLEY fan and they had the exact frames I wanted. Had my appointment for both my eye glasses and contacts here. There customer service is exceptional. I couldnt find any glasses that I wanted to purchase but the representatives helped me take down notes of the correct measurements to find glasses that actually fit my face.The optometrist I visited was Dr. Thy Pham Nguyen and she was WONDERFUL! Its been ages since I wore contacts and she helped me find a fit that worked for me and gave me a set of free lenses to try out. She even offered to change my perspcipriton if they Dailies didnt work for me (the did!).If youre hesitant, just make sure to share your concerns and anyone (optometrist the receptionist, literally anyone there) will help you out.Thank YOU! After switching my eye care to Focus Optical I don’t know why I was ever going anywhere else. Top notch care and service. Dr. Vankawala is awesome! She really takes the time to listen and you can tell that she is actually concerned about you and she does her best to help. The clinic is also available via text which is a huge convenience if you have a busy schedule, or even if you don’t, it’s just really easy to able communicate by text and not have to wait for call backs. The sales and clinic staff are super nice and helpful. Even before I was an established patient, Steven got me in right away Monday morning when I called on Sunday afternoon and needed to see a doctor for something in my eye. Even though their doctor happened to be out that Sunday, he tried to give me suggestions for other places to go if I felt I needed to be seen that day. That to me is true customer service. I decided I could wait until the next day and was so happy with Dr. Vankawala that I switched my eye care permanently. Immaculate and beautifully designed, too. Makes visiting the eye doctor a great experience.

Went to visit ms Hong Hanh Dinh for contacts and she was amazing, knowledgeable, and so nice. The assistants were very attentive and I had no wait. The doctor Walked through the process with me and explained every step. Would recommend to anyone looking for an optometrist in the area.

This place is a 10/10.I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Nguyen and her staff. My visit (eye exam for glasses & contact lenses) was quick, informative, easy, safe (COVID-19 precautions in place) and so worth it. I recently moved here from Chicago so I was pretty stressed about having to try a new place since its hard to find places that meet my Chicago expectations here but this one definitely did. I was in and out in 45 mins. I then received a text 40 mins later letting me know both of my new glasses were ready to be picked up. Honestly, thats the type of service that everyone deserves. You really do get what you pay for and im so happy I found this place. They have a good selection of high-end designer frames so I had no problem finding 2 that I absolutely loved.

My daughter and I had our eye exam today with Dr. Nguyen. We had an amazing experience! Dr. Nguyen is very sweet, patient, and really took her time to explain everything to my daughter since it was her first eye exam. The staff is wonderful and took their time making sure we picked out a great first pair of glasses! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and made sure we understood our insurance coverage! I dont always leave reviews, but when I go to a place as stellar as this I do.1. On Time - when I showed up the receptionist was practically wating for me to get me signed in2. Presentation - the store is fabulous, immaculately clean, well organized and inviting.3. Creature Comforts - even in this covid world, they made me a cup of coffe while I completed the paperwork.4. State of the art equipment - all of the equipment was new, clean, and well maintained.5. Profesionallism - Dr. Nguyen was fast in her work, personable, and was able to figure out my prescription for glasses and contacts without dilation (for me a feat in itself), while at the same time not rushing me through anything.6. Personability - everyone at the office were very kind and were very patient with me while I tried to learn how to take the new contacts in and out.7. Attention to detail - in purchasing glasses they took careful attention to measurement of a number of metrics I have never had taken before to ensure the glasses and frames I chose would work for me.8. Prompt Closure - by the time I got back to my car I had an e-mail with my reciept, and my prescriptions for computer glasses, daily glasses, and contacts attached as PDFs.Normally I go to the eye doctor and get the exam, then buy glasses online. Here I got the glasses from them partially just to support such an exemplary local business, and partially considering that the price for the glasses was competetive with online vendors (considering name brand frames - Oakleys). Good job Ladies!

FOCUS Optical is a wonderful vision center. They have very chic, modern, and nice frames that you definitely would not find at many, if not all, other glasses places. The people (Alexis) are extremely friendly and patient. I took forever (came on two different days) to choose my frames, and they were so welcoming and loving. I tried on so many frames, and they were so kind! Highly recommend this place.

What a great experience, Dr. Nguyen gave my boys a coloring book to work on while we went through her selection of frames and found the perfect match. Also, depending on your prescription you could walk out in your new selection. Staff was also very friendly, we will be recommending to friends as this was easily the best eye care experience I’ve had.

I had a great experience at Focus Optical. I walked in and filled out a few minor forms and was heading back to my exam without ever touching down in a waiting area. Their hours are very convenient for us 8-5 working folks PLUS Saturday and Sunday hours!The optometrist is very nice and quite thorough. She explained everything in detail and inquired about many things I wouldnt have considered. I felt like it was one of the best eye exams I had ever had.I needed new glasses and I ordered them at the end of my appointment. I was told they would be ready in a week and I got a text two days later that they were ready! You cant beat that.The prices are reasonable and the environment and aesthetics of the location are very nice and comforting. Highly recommended.

On a Sunday afternoon, my husband & I wanted to get in for an eye exam & updated prescriptions. We were seen within an hour of calling for an appointment & were warmly greeted upon arrival. Establishment was very clean & hygienic & also had a convenient kids corner to occupy our toddler. Dr. Nguyen was polite, professional, attentive & accommodating to our needs! Would absolutely recommend her & this location for all of your eye concerns. Not to mention my glasses were ready within 20 minutes of my exam. This will continue to be our go-to office.

Dr. Nguyen is fantastic! Ive have vision and eye problems since I was a child. We moved to the Woodlands and a friend recommended Focus as the best optometrist in the area. Oh man, were they right! I have dealt with itchy and painful eyes for YEARS thinking it was seasonal allergies, because thats what I was told by several other optometrists, but it still continued. When I went to Dr. Nguyen, she was the one to tell me I had an allergy to the contacts I was wearing. I had no idea for about 6 YEARS. So grateful to Dr. Nguyen for taking such good care of myself and my husband. We will never go anywhere else!

Worst customer service... the doctor was “nice” but it seemed she didn’t have too much time to spend on me considering things going on in her office. The frames and lenses are WAY OVER PRICED!! If you have enough money to spend $800+ on glasses and $900+ on daily contacts this is the place to be. I found my contacts online for $45 a box and the same RayBan frame I liked I found at TWO other different eyewear places for way less. Their MSRP is way too high. I’m completely applaud at how quickly the girl helping me changed her attitude when she realized I wasn’t wanting to spend so much money. I saw her walk off and talk with another of her associates and she completely came back uninterested in helping me! MONEY GREEDY is what this office is!! I guess it’s true “all that glitters is not gold”... unless they try and sell it to you at the same price as gold. Before purchasing beware!!! You can buy the same progressives, contacts AND frames somewhere else for the SAME VALUE but much cheaper price.

Absolutely the best eye exam I have ever had. The selection of high end frames is phenomenal! I called several times, asking many questions before my apt. I was always treated like I was the only customer! Lol I expected at least two weeks for my RX to be ready. I went on a Saturday and only five business days later I have them on my face! Since I wear glasses all of the time and use the computer all day long I wanted a frame that was lightweight but durable.I chose the Lindberg frames and couldn’t be happier!

I recently moved from Louisiana, where I left my optometrist whom I’ve had for the past 20 years, so of course I was nervous to select a new optometrist.
