Dr. Young and Dr. Levy were very thorough in checking and diagnosing my eye problem. Im thankful they urged me to see a physician to help with blood pressure, but also refered me to a specialist for my needs. Definitely recommend Woodlands TSO

I love the doctor here but after my recent challenges in ordering contacts and the lack of communication on the part of their front desk team, I will be moving on. I chose to order contacts from TSO to support the business but after 2 weeks of waiting with no communication, I finally had them refund my money and I ordered from 1800 Contacts. Not only were my lenses $100 cheaper, they will be here tomorrow.

My initial appointment and eye exam was perfect! However, I ordered glasses 9/17 and called to check the status of my order on 10/22. I was told I received a “call and voicemail” that my glasses were ready on 10/5. I have no record of the call/voicemail and my eyes have literally been hurting for two weeks because no one thought to follow up. I find it very interesting that I can get a text/email for me to share my experience but no one thought to do the same to inform me my glasses were ready!

First time visiting as a client! The front desk crew seemed a little nervous at first but I kind of broke the ice with a little joke. They are a beautiful crew to be around! Everyone willing to assist! I would go back in a heartbeat! I can say they do know what they are doing!

Prompt, friendly, and very safe. I was greeted right away. Hand sanitizer and mask required from the moment you walk in. Temperature checked and social distancing in place. The staff is so very helpful. Dr Young was very kind, patient and thorough. Dani helped me pick out my glasses, which is no easy task! She was so friendly and helpful. I felt at ease and that I could take my time. Such a delight!! Definitely recommend this office.

I had a great time at Texas State Optical (TSO) in The Woodlands. It was a bit tricky to find (tucked away in a corner next to Bed Bath & Beyond) but well worth the search. Arline spent time with me helping me to find the right sunglasses to fit my needs, my face shape, and my style. She brought out lots of different options for me to try on and was so helpful and supportive helping me to choose the ones that were perfect for me. This was a great atmosphere to shop in and I really appreciated the friendly faces and enjoyed my experience there.I felt safe due to all the COVID protocols that were being followed. Most of the people allowed in were by appointment only. The front door was locked, and staff came outside to check people in or answer questions. Temperatures were taken at the door and everyone who entered was asked to sanitize their hands. WE had to sign a paper stating the date that we arrived, our contact information, and our temperatures. This seems like a good idea in case any contract tracing is necessary. Everyone wore masks the whole time we were there. I could pull the mask down to see how I looked in a set of glasses and then I put my mask back up again. It was immensely helpful to be able to see my facial features with a set of glasses.

This is a wonderful team of people willing to help every step of the way! I drive from huntsville for them and will do it again! This is the only place to Go!

This was my first time with TSO. It was such an excellent experience! The staff is so friendly, welcoming, and comforting. They answered ALL of my questions with a smile on their face. They took the time to explain every step of what i was doing and made sure I was comfortable and understood. Georgia even came and looked through every single frame with me, and helped me narrow my selection down to the PERFECT style and fit. My doctor was so calm and peaceful. She made me feel so comfortable and never once made me feel dumb. I walked out of that office so proud. I still have a smile on my face. Always super friendly and ensures you are happy. I recently bought a new pair of glasses that after a month, i just was comfortable in them and wasn’t able to adjust them properly so they allowed me to switch them out with another pair that fits much better and more comfortable. I loved this office! Took myself and 3 kids for exams and glasses and the staff took very good care of us. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me stay in a great price point and explained my insurance coverage thoroughly. The Dr. was super nice and good to my kids and I really appreciated that. This was the best experience getting glasses I’ve had in a Looooong time! The staff was sweet and explained everything clearly. The nurse checked my eyes Very thoroughly and quickly. I didn’t wait long at all for the doctor to come talk with me. She explained my eye issues and answered my eye concerns.And when it came to picking frames and lenses- again best experience I’ve had in years. If there were a 6☆rating would give it ti this store! ALL way from the exam by Dr. CLAIRE to the 2 ladies out front! The spent time with me and my daughter Megan.They never acted rushed or irritated. We ended up closing the store down! Please make sure in some way they are compisated for their unbelievable help. We spent double what I normally spend over 2500.00 between the 2 of us but it was worth it. I have spent as much elsewhere an was not treated as well! This is the place I will return to when I need more help.

Second year going to TSO in the Woodlands. They make it simple for the whole family to be seen back-to-back on the same day - makes life easier!! They are very kid friendly and extremely patient while explaining procedures. They had my family of 4 in and out of the office in 2 hours - this included eye exams, picking out glasses for 3 of us, and explaining our benefits to get the most bang for our buck!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Most eye doctors and offices Ive visited in the past treat me like a customer at a checkout lane at Walmart. The doctor doesnt really care and just wants you to leave. This is the first eye doctors office Ive been to that cares. Ive seen both Dr. Clair and Dr. Young and they are both great. They get to know me as a person and listen. Ive had all questions answered and they ensure all my needs are met. Also, the staff is helpful and seem to truly enjoy their jobs. Stop being just a number at one of those mall doctors who think they will never see you again (and dont care if they do). Go here where they actually want to build a relationship with you.

My daughter had to get her eyes checked for school when she was 4 I called around to find someone who would see her and we ended up seeing Dr. Clair. My daughter has a lot of anxiety with doctors but Dr. Clair takes the time to explain what she is doing and puts her at ease. She is 7 now and we saw Dr. Clair last month but she told me this morning that she can’t wait to go back because she loves her doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Clair for anyone but especially for children.

I have seen both Dr. Claire and Dr. Yee-Young. They and their staff are caring, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend this TSO location.Update: Their customer service stays strong and consistent. This year, I was between insurance plans because of a job change and they went above and beyond to assure I did not have to go without contacts until I could schedule an exam.

Dr Yee-Young was awesome. Its the best and most thorough optometrist eye exam I have ever had. She was focused on helping me see better, even with my issues.. making sure she checked for all other possible issues like cataracts,etc. Took her time, didnt push me out to get to next patient. The staff was awesome also...great quality service. I highly recommend her and the staff.

I tried another vision company in Tomball years ago and experienced terrible service. I went to the Woodlands TSO office and have been there ever since. I first came to TSO in March for an eye exam. I was so impressed with Dr. Clare and the friendly staff. I purchased contact lenses, and was to receive a rebate from Alcon. To be honest I really didn’t believe that Alcon would send me a gift card, but they did. I decided to purchase new glasses, so of course I went back to TSO. From the minute I walked in the staff was so friendly especially Chelsea. Chelsea remembered me from my first visit, she helped me in March. She remembered that I tried on a ton of glasses, even wrote in my chart the glasses that I liked. Chelsea was very patient, helped me find the perfect frames. She was very honest and told me what would work and what didn’t work. She explained all of the different options and price points. I can’t wait to get my new glasses. I highly recommend TSO to anybody that is looking for an eye doctor, contacts and new frames. Thank you TSO

I have always gone to TSO Optical in Conroe. I went to TSO in the woodlands and all the girls in there are so nice and they try everything to keep you happy and comfortable. The dr was so nice and she explain everything to me even got my trail contacts before i was expecting ( my prescription is really high so they didn’t had that in stock ) I really recommend this place to everyone

TSO was great! We had some issues getting my insurance figured out, and the staff kept trying and were calling me to keep me updated. And, Dr. Young was very helpful and thoroughly explained what was going on with my eyes and how that would explain the problems I was having.
