Ive been a Toyota customer since my first car & DCH Toyota is one of the best Toyota dealers to visit. James Taylor was easily one of the best to work with. My last two car purchases I wish I had James as my sales rep. He understands his customers, is very patient, great knowledge of the product & will make sure you’re more than comfortable with your purchase. DCH Toyota is a wonderful dealership with very nice and helpful people. My salesman Hany was very nice and polite and made me feel like I was already apart of the Toyota family. He did an amazing job on getting me a great price. They had a great selection of vehicles; I was extremely happy with my purchase. The finance manager Alex was extremely kind and explained the documents very well and made my experience an amazing one.The facility was clean and practicing social distancing and masks are being worn by the staff and guests.

I love my encounter with DCH Toyota of Torrance.There was this marketer named Kelvin (a Hispanic young guy) that was so wonderful and attended to my needs. His manager allowed him drove my car home for me due to my inability to drive for too long that morning, as regards to 11:00pm to 7:00am job I did.I love my car. People here are eager to help you make a good choice of a car you would love, if you don’t have any in mind. I went to DCH Toyota of Torrance just to see and test drive a Highlander hybrid. From the moment I called to check their stock to the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming. They had the car I wanted to see in the show room and Be aide I liked it, they offered me to test drive one. I was really impressed with the design of the car and all the accessories the XLE model had. Exactly the things I was looking for in an SUV. Mo came out to answer my questions and offered his assistance in discussing a potential payment on the vehicle. He was honest, informative, and dedicated. Once I decided to buy the car, Aaron was the one to setup the vehicle for me before I drive it off the lot. He made it so pleasing. On May 15, 2021; I visited DCH Toyota of Torrance with the mindset to purchase a used Sienna. My reason for purchasing a Sienna was because my 16-year-old son who has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, moderate/severe delays and Autism (non-verbal) has been exhibiting behaviors that are putting me at risk for getting into a car accident.I wanted a Sienna because I felt it would protect me; as I could put my son in the third row easily even with him being physically limited. Edgar Arias became my source of information and I am so thankful. He was the best salesman I have ever had. I made it very clear to Edgar what I wanted and informed him that I must have lots of leg room.After looking at the used Sienna’s, I told Edgar that I would try to lease a 2021 Sienna XLE. Edgar worked with me and I was able to receive approval for one. But, here is what I want you to know about Edgar. My son was with me and I could tell that he was headed into a meltdown (which can be very ugly), so I told Edgar I needed to go across the street to El Pollo Loco to get my son some food. Edgar volunteered and purchased a meal for myself and my son. I wanted to cry because I was relieved that an unpleasant situation had been averted. Edgar also said we could eat our meal inside and I was even more relieved because my son does not transition well to different environments. Thank you Edgar! (Part 1)

Prior to Toyota, I had leased a car with a different company and once my lease was over they made it a nightmare to purchase my car. I went to Toyota and Mo helped me out. I never felt harassed nor pushed to buy a car. He gave me quotes and explained everything in detail. Asked me what I wanted my payment and down payment to look like so that he can work around that. He knew my budget and worked well around it. Even helped me with my previous lease. He made my first time car purchase a very easy and pleasant one. All staff seemed friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a Toyota car, Mo is your guy!

This was my boyfriend and Is first time coming to the dealer. We were looking for a car for my boyfriend, and we were immediately approached by Aaron. He was super friendly, outgoing and explained the features of the car in a way that was funny and informative. After test driving the vehicle, Aaron sat with us to discuss the finances, and thats when we were introduced to Moe. Moe was extremely informative and helpful when explaining the finances. Moe really showed that he cared about us not only as customers, but as actual people. Honestly- Im extremely disappointed in Toyota of Torrance. If you are a first time car buyer- DO NOT come here. Dont waste your time talking to the sales people here. Glen was the associate I interacted with. He didnt make it clear about others interest in the car. I dont live close so as Im leaving for my appointment to buy said car- he has another associate call and tell me its sold. After we spent the five days prior to my appointment setting up all the financial details for me to purchase this car. Just disappointing start to finish. I ended up going to Culver City Toyota and it was an exponentially better experience. Waste your time at your own expense.

Leo assisted me with the purchase of my new Toyota Corolla Hybrid. Compared to the other dealers I went to while trying to purchase. DCH Toyota and Leo gave excellent customer service. Did not feel like I was talking to a salesman trying to make the most commission. Just honesty and helpful. Then other dealers were trying to rip me off and force optional additions to my purchase. And were not honest at all. I’m glad I walked away from them and came here to purchase my vehicle. Got the best deal and best customer service.

The service advisor, Nikki Phillips, was excellent, both in setting up the service & keeping me updated. I’m always very satisfied with DCH’s upkeep of my 2016 Rav 4, & this time was no exception.I will say, however that the transportation from & back to the dealership was not good. It is now done by Lyft drivers & because they rely solely on their gps’s for directions, & may not be familiar with the area, mistakes were made, causing delays. I was only going about 5 minutes away, to my volunteer shift at Torrance Memorial Hospital, and both ways the gps had very poor routes and even with my intervention could not get them to the entrance of the hospital.

Went in to check out a used Chevy Traverse. This is not a review of Toyota quality but instead about customer service at this dealership.The vehicle was listed on cars.com for about 33k but when we arrived was being sold at 37k before any fees or taxes. When I asked about the price the salesman shruggged me off and told me we can play with the 37k price.The vehicle at first had a dead battery and didn’t start. The car was jump started, and when it started the engine made a loud clunk noise. Then the liftgate assist didnt work, and then the vehicle wouldn’t go into 4dr. When I pointed out these problems the salesman denied there was a noise, and became frustrated that I pointed out the things that didnt work. He sarcastically told me to do a full inspection since I care so much about little details. His reasoning was that each car undergoes a 150 point inspection so it’s fine. I don’t mind the car being in bad condition. It’s used and it’s a chevy so it’s not his fault, but it’s unacceptable for a salesman to be rude when I’m being polite and asking reasonable questions. During the experience I felt that I was inconveniencing him.They offered to check out why the car wouldn’t go into 4dr so I waited to see. The manager than came out and told me that they checked out the car and it’s fine. He told me that the car goes into 4dr when it senses a shift in terrain. Since I had just watched a YouTube video in the lobby I knew this was a lie. I politely explained to him that it’s not true and that the selector switch is supposed to work.He argued with me that that’s not how Toyota’s work. I pointed out that the car is a chevy and he seemed surprised. He didn’t even know what car I was there to buy. Turns out he lied when they said they checked out the car. Nothing had been done. It didn’t work and we left.

I purchased a new Toyota Corolla to enjoy the Toyota Navigation and other apps. The new system comprises a number of tools, functions, and programs that give you quick access to a variety of available capabilities while driving. Unfortunately, sometimes the navigation app seems to face difficulties functioning. I reinstalled the Scout GPS, Toyota app and tried other remedies with no success. To make a long story short, I took my car to the Culver City Dealership. I made FIVE (not exaggerating) different appointments with three different people just to find out that they can’t help me. So, I left the dealership with an error message on the radio screen, disappointment, and frustration. But I was not ready to give up. I called Headquarters Customer Support line and have been patched to Quadesia. She offered me to try to update the system one more time and was very nice, understanding, and supportive. After 20 minutes going through the new installation process, the apps started working again! I couldn’t thank her enough! I really appreciated her knowledge and excellent customer service. I hope her management promotes her to the Training Manager Position that she could train the staff at Culver City Toyota to save other customers’ time and avoid being treated so poorly. I went to look for a car as I was pre approved by my current finance company for a car loan. I had spoke with a representative on the phone so I asked for her when I got there. The 2 front desk ppl (Hispanic male and African American female) apparently didnt like that I asked for this person so the Hispanic male told me she (the sales rep I asked for) doesnt show cars so he would have to help. So we go outside and it is crickets. Normally cars salesman will jump down tour throat to sell you a car but he DID NOT. He was the driest salesman ever. He acted like he had no interest in me being there. I told him nevermind I didnt want a car anymore and he LEFT me on the lot alone as I browsed by myself at the cars. After showing myself around I decided to leave. As I was leaving another car salesman approached me and asked how he could help. I told him it was OK and how the other rep treated me. He instantly apologized and said that he would help get whatever car I wanted (like a good car salesman should) he also let me know that the guy that helped me has a bad rep there. Long story long🙃 before I left went back to the rude car salesman and asked him for his card. He stumbled and dug in a jore (because he was at the front desk) and handed me a card that said Cristian Ramirez. Dont think it was his card tho. I called the desk as I was pulling out and asked to speak with Cristian and the African American girl said he was busy (Although I just left and he was doing nothing🙄) I think he knew I was going to complain.

I didnt want to buy a car, because I hate making payments! I drive 40 miles per day to get back and forth to work. My 2008 Nissan Frontier with 215,000 miles is on its last leg! I went to Toyota of Torrance for advice. Ray the Internet Manager asked a few questions to analyze my situation. He askes me: how many miles do I drive per day? How much do I pay in gas per week? And so on. It turns out that making payments on a 2018 Toyota Prius wouldnt be as hard as I thought it would be! They gave me top dollar for my old truck, and kept my payments low. Now Im getting 50 mpg. The money I save on gas off set the monthly car payment. Plus Im reestablishing my credit! I suggest you give Ray a shot.

First off this place is great. The staff is super friendly. The saleswomen Lupe was amazing, I kind of had an idea of what I was looking for and she really did help me find a car that is super comfortable. Great personality, and she was honest ( which is very rare nowadays ) . Tried other dealerships, and they just seem a bit too greedy and rude, especially during these times.Leased a 2021 Corolla Hatchback and it is a very smooth car that I know is going to be reliable for sure...Lyndon in finance dept made the paperwork process very seamless.Even Koufik the general sales manager was knowledgeable and knew his stuff.Great staff. Purposefully advertise false prices online to get you in there. Theyll tell you its on the fine print of the website and that the prices are based on the no add on versions or something. I expected a certain level of up selling but I called ahead twice to confirm the price of a vehicle I was interested in as I live an hour away. Once they had me there, after a test drive, I was told the vehicle was actually 7 THOUSAND dollars more which is nearly a 50% increase, and that the true price is apparently hidden somewhere on the website despite multiple verbal confirmations to the contrary. They then offered to only increase it from the advertised price by 5K which was still well over 25% of the initial confirmed price. Super shady grifters. Shop at your own risk. Avoid at all costs.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! You would think broken Door Locks and Window Master Switch Bezel would be included in the 160 points used Certified Car Inspection and fixed prior to sale!!!We discovered and notified the dealer of the many needed repairs on the drive home to San Diego in our 2 hour old new/used car. Their first response was its a used car and you have to expect repairs. If they arent going to stand behind the repairs, what are my options concerning canceling the deal. They informed me, there ISNT a Rescissionary Period or Consumer Protection Clause in your contract.DCH took the position, we need to drive to LA (5 hours round trip), if we want these items fixed. Why do we have to drive to LA when the San Diego dealership (10 minutes away) and is willing to complete the repairs at cost.Finally, DCH allowed the Locks to be fixed in SD but theyre demanding we bring the car back to them for repair of the Master Switch.These repairs should have been completed prior to sale!!! Dont make it anymore frustrating and inconvenient, let this last repair be fixed in San Diego dealership!DCH really means BUYER BEWARE!!!!!Patty G

I drove to the dealership all hesitant on what I was going to find. I could picture all those movies I had seen with car salesman‘s and the way they treat women. But I needed a new car and they had the one that I wanted so I drove the one hour to get there.Mo greeted me and took me to the car I had seen on their website, he encouraged me to test drive it and had more confidence in my driving abilities then I did. I saw a specific Toyota Highlander on the DCH website for a pretty good price. I called and spoke to a salesman and told him what I could offer and if he could make it happen to let me know. If not just tell me you can’t. No hard feelings. However, that salesman never called back. So I decided to call Mo Abed. I told Mo I was interested in the specific highlander. I let him know I had my own finance company and I didn’t want to finance through the dealership. Also, let him know I would like to know the price for the vehicle out the door including tax, license and registration. I live in San Diego and informed him I would drive there and pick up the car the same day if he could make the deal I wanted happen. I told him I didn’t want any surprises. Mo emailed me the out the door price that included everything I wanted and for the price I wanted. I was hesitant to still drive up to Los Angeles from California because I didn’t want to get there and the price all of a sudden change. Mo kept his word and there was no surprises. I appreciate Mo being 100% with me and earning my trust. I plan to buy another Toyota in 2-3 years and I’ll definitely be purchasing it from him.

Here I go again, my daughter and I went in for a service on my Prius and came out with a new car! I met Mo Abed on the car lot and expressed my excitement over the Rav-4 XSE Hybrid. My friend got one and I wanted to see if I could get a deal like her. In contrast I was also considering a new Prius. Mo listened to me, showed me my options and took me test driving. I wasn’t sure that I wanted to endure a higher payment than I currently had but with the SUV upgrade and the options Mo was able to provide its gonna be worth it! Mo doesn’t play games and was trustworthy, I needed that because my husband wasn’t with me! When I tried to settle for less he stayed attentive to my needs and to what would overall make my entire family happy! Mo is intelligent and figured out financially what made the most sense with my trade in, my financing and my rebate. Quick and painless!

We purchased a new Sienna with Leo Solis last week and a had a great experience. We received a fair quote before coming in and Leo honored the quote. He went above and beyond to show us the car’s features. My parents who aren’t very tech savvy had a lot of questions and Leo patiently and professionally made sure they were comfortable using the navigation and linking their phones so they could get home safely.

This dealership has a good selection/variety of used cars. They do a bait and switch with the cars that they seek online. Once you get there, they add $4000+ worth of add-ons that you have to buy, which ups the piece of the car. With some of those add ons, you have to trust that they actually put it on the car... 👀 but thats none of my business. Nevertheless, be prepared to add on extra money to the price that is quoted/offered online.I couldve saved my time and gas instead of driving over there to play dealership games. Lol. I ended up purchasing a vehicle through my AAA at another dealership for a great (and set) price that was honored, and with the financing with much better terms.

I was super nervous cause this was the first time I was purchasing a car for my self instead of getting cars passed down to me. Gus was my sales person and he was super nice and did not give me a hard sale which I was very appreciative of. Dealing with someone who is trying to give you a hard sale is something that I hate about dealerships and makes me nervous to go in one. However I was happily surprised that Gus was the opposite of that as well as the other person we worked with, Gianni. They both were pleasant and made my experience great. It was a very positive experience and I would go back in the future.

The service at this location was excellent. Shout out to Oswar who was a great sales associate, helping me out without being too pushy. The regular things apply when it comes to dealerships, and we all know those complaints (destination fees?), so I wont go into detail with that. What I will say is that the team helped me out as much as they could and worked hard to get me into the car I loved. The staff was friendly and the service department was professional as well. Id definitely recommend anyone I know looking for a new vehicle to check them out.

BEWARE: The price you see is NOT the price you will pay - they add on several features and wont tell you until youre signing.We had an interesting experience with the dealership. We waited about a week for the car we wanted to be done with servicing - we called every other day and talked to a new person every time and no one ever returned our calls. Finally, the car was out of the service department and they couldnt even tell us what was being serviced. It was super vague on the carfax and we still have no idea what they did to the car for a week. Then we sat down and did the paperwork and out of nowhere the car DOUBLED in price due to fancy add ons that we didnt ask for and that no one mentioned until it was time to sign paperwork. We were very upset, they dropped the price and we finally settled on a price similar to what was actually listed online.The only redeeming part of the experience was Leo - our sales guy. He was incredibly helpful and personable. He worked with us to get the price we wanted and was very patient with my hundreds of questions. Personally, ask for Leo to help you out if you can. We even named our new car after him - thanks Leo!

This was my first time buying a car and not only was the dealership extremely friendly and helpful, but my specific salesman, Sirag Latawash, was also very warm, welcoming, and informative, too. Entire experience was excellent, I found car online Friday PM, arrived early Saturday, receptionist & George greeted me. I am new to Toyota so I had questions, George was patient & kind with me, he introduced me to Jose his manager on my way to test drive the Rav4- Limited. I knew this was the car for me so back to the dealership to do paperwork, finance department where I met Joseph, he took time with me detailed every page that had to be signed. I will definitely refer & return to DCH Toyota of Torrance.

I went in for my regular service at DCH Toyota of Torrance. The Service drive is open and ready to serve you for all of your servicing needs. Walked to get my car appraised. I spent 2 seconds with George. He handed me to Kareem them Lupe which both went above and beyond. What a pleasure it was to get my questions answered, patient, quick test drive and she went over the car specs. Dont take your car for service in this dealership! I took my car to this place for annual oil change! They drained my whole tank! They said its your sensor problem! My car had no issue at all! It was just a oil change! I think since gasoline is expensive, they found the way to get free gas!

I feel like I got ripped off. On top of that the warranty I was given on a certified ore owned vehicle was only good for not even a year! Very Disappointed. I got an xse and it’s missing so many features that most XSE’s have and can’t even do certain things that’s even SE’s of my year come with unless I pay $80 annually Toyota app subscription. To add to that even further, the car I was sold came with heat seaters and the heat seaters don’t even work properly!

You need more enthuastic staff that are willing to work with the buyers. It was really disappointing that instead of giving a counter offer on the deal all I heard was sorry we can do that. This is not my 1st time buying a vehicle, nor will it be the last. The only good thing was that they had a great receptionist.

Ive had a couple of tech questions in days that followed(having upgraded from a 1999 4 Runner) which Diana helped me out with when I went back to the dealership. My apologies, this review is almost 2 years old so I’m sure some changes have taken place. However I felt my experience needed to be shared to let former and current salesman know what transpired. For the sake of his embarrassment, i will not share the salesman’s name. I came to this dealership with my wife in September 2019. At the time looking for the impossible (Pre-Owned Tacoma 4x4 SR5) in white, cement or blue. I admit I was specific, but my salesman clearly did not have time for showing me their inventory. They had options in new Tacoma’s that fit my price range, but he seemed annoyed by my initial specific request. I don’t know if this gentleman was having a bad day, but he definitely lost a sale for himself and DHC. I made a point to say something to the sales manager as this particular fellow was doing nothing but holding them back as a team. I do not know if he continued to work there, or if they even said anything to him. But! The following week I ended up upgrading to a 2019 TRD Off Road 4x4. It was not in stock, but Cabe of Long Beach was kind enough to bring it in for me. Because of the exceptional customer service from Felisha Davis, I did not mind waiting an extra day (or spending the extra money on a new more expensive truck! Haha!)

Went with my brother here to help him out with a vehicle, we dont want any accessories, just tax, license, title, and gap. The salesman and manager were forcing it on us putting the pressure to buy them or no deal. Went from added $5K on all the accessories when in reality, you can get the exact same things for less on your own out of pocket for a reasonable price. The salesman came back and the price for accessories was $1,700 after telling him already we dont want it. Both manager and salesman were also insisting on buying them and running credit even though we told them we wont go that far if the accessories are there. We left to a different dealer where they didnt put the same pressure and waste of time. Dont purchase a vehicle if theyre forcing it on you. Not professional, all those accessories arent already added to the car they can remove them if they wanted to.

I went to this dealer to buy out my lease and apparently they are unable to help you unless you purchase an extended warranty. Since I didnt want the warranty they said they couldnt help me and turned me away, and this is the dealer I leased the car from. I called to speak with a different sales man and I spoke with Hudson Lee. This person was of no help and very unprofessional. To make a long story short he basically told me that since theyre not making any money off of me they cant help me and by the end he raise his voice at me and hung up on me. Horrible, horrible experience I will never go back there nor do I recommend this dealer.I called South Bay Toyota off the 405 and Western and they said they were happy to have me as part of their family. I was able to buy out my lease and wasnt pressured to buy any warranty. Thank you Leonard.

Imagine driving up to a fast food restaurant and you order a burger for $4 (ONLY THE BURGER, NOTHING ELSE). You pull forward to the pay window and the employee says its $15 please. You wonder why? $4 plus tax does not add up to $15. The employee explains that the burger comes with the combo even though the burger by itself is only $4. After repeatedly asking for only the burger the employee tells you it cant be removed because its part of the package and that was my experience at DCH of Torrence.I was under the impression that shady sales tactics were reserved for small dealerships, DCH of Torrence unequivocally proved that wrong.I was interested in purchasing two cars. On CarGurus the listed price was was $23k and $48k (listed pics of the two cars). After seeing the cars, I was given a price breakdown for the first one and it listed the cost of the car $23k, $4k of accessories, and the regular fees like taxes. I made clear that I was not interested on any added accessories. After some back and forth the fee was lowered to $2100. I asked why couldnt the accessories just be removed? I was told by our sales rep Ali that the accessories are already installed on the car. This was frustrating because the dealership advertises real cost the car ONLY on their lot, otherwise the price listed on any online format like CarGurus or their home website is the cost of the car alone. Typical bait and switch. Additionally, I submitted an application for financing on their website on Aug 16th and received a call later that day regarding the application. I asked what I had been approved for and the rep said he would call me right back with the details. I received no call back. On Aug 17th I called them back around 10am and spoke to a lady. She said the person assigned to my file was in at 12pm and to expect a follow up. No call was received. I drove almost 2 hours and once there, I was informed by Ali that he was told my credit had not been ran because they werent sure if the car was available (pics posted of the inquiry with their name clear as day). That was an utter lie, I had a notification from MyFico about the credit check. Later, once we sat down to discuss numbers, I asked once again what I had been approved for. Ali told they could not find the application because I had ran my credit with Toyota directly (another lie). Then they wanted to run my credit again. Their reasoning was online is a different department and direct sales.In summary, I dont recommend coming to this dealership. You shouldnt be obligated to purchase overly priced accessories. I called Toyota and they too confirmed that this practice was not condoned by them. I also dont blame Ali, I can only assume that he does what management instructs him to do. I do however recommend he work on his people skills. Lastly, I dont care to receive an apology or a follow up from the dealership. Unless the entire dealership removes this shady sales tactics, an apology will do nothing and Ill be just another upset client.
