I took my mom to this location for an eye exam and it was such a great experience for me and my mom. the doctor was amazing she answered all of my mothers questions and was so nice with us. Moe helped my mom with picking the frame and he was very nice and very professional. We spent a long time with him but he was so cool and always smiling. He even helped my mom with what frame would work the best for her based on her needs he asked her multiple questions and then gave her the best options based on her needs and we trusted him, he gave us a great experience and made us feel comfortable and truly enjoyed our experience . And the way he explained the difference between the frames was so professional and honest. Thank you HFO for this experience and thank you Moe.

I went for a regular eye checkup and had a great experience. They followed all necessary COVID precautions, they had a quick and streamlined check-in process. The staff were all very friendly and thorough. They got me in and out quickly. I would go back again!

I like the Dr but the Optician Moe has been amazing. He provided me with all the information I need to know what is covered and not covered by my insurance. Also, he was so patient with me in helping me find the right frame. Actually, he also helped me a month ago with my kids glasses, so this visit I made sure to ask for me. He is honest, patient, and very nice. Will have my wife ask for him next visit when she go for eye exam.

I have been coming to this location for years, even though I now live closer to the other locations. Everyone I encountered today was very friendly, which hasn’t always been the case. But I’ve noticed an improvement in customer service over the years. I keep coming back because I love the choices offered in designer eyewear. Today I ordered a pair and worked with Mo. He was so friendly, and made the experience very pleasant. I usually do my research and come in knowing what I want, but today I wasn’t sure, I just knew I needed new glasses. I told Mo that I wanted black designer frames, and he was very polished and put together, so I trusted that he could pick something on trend for me. He did not disappoint. He brought me several Gucci and Tom Ford frames, and waited patiently while I tried them on and debated. He was easy to talk to, and never rushed me. I ended up with a pair of Tom Ford’s that I am so excited about, and Mo assured me that they flattered my face. I can’t wait to pick up my new glasses. Thanks Mo!

Great assistance in picking out glasses for the first time for my daughter, who must have tried on more than 10 pair, and myself, much needed assistance since it has been forever since I got glasses. Such great customer service! We cant wait to get our glasses!

I went back to Henry Ford after using another place that made glasses that were basically useless. I would especially like to thank Cindy for her help in picking out glasses, she figured out my style and we had them in 10 min. Deanna in the fitting department is so go and efficient, not to mention patient. My highest accolades to both of these ladies. They are the best!

I went yesterday for check up and to get new glasses. It was my first time in Henry Ford and I gotta say that they have the best service out there and I was really happy with everything. Ruksana is incredible and helped me with choosing glasses that were looking good on me. She really took her time in selecting the frames and was very patient in explaining about everything. I really appreciate her work and I would come here next time for sure!

Just had an appointment and Im super impressed with how quick it went. I had a full eye exam and shopped for 2 pairs of glasses and it only took about 40 minutes! Taylor who did my pre eye check before the doctor was AWESOME! She really brightened my day. Marissa who assisted me in finding new glasses was also great and really helped me pick out glasses that work for my style and shape. Couldnt be happier with my experience.

Great service. They did way more then other eye doctors I went to before. Always willing to help I lost a nose piece a few months back and I stopped in while I was working they fixed it for me. I decided to set up a exam for new glasses and they will have my appointments for now. Great fast service yesterday. Was in and out in a hr.

Eye appointment with Dr. Roney was thorough and informative. Highly recommend Dr staff. Also wanted to pick out new pair of glass but was made to feel that they did care about my business. Was left standing around the glass area while the staff tried on glasses and asked for other staffs opinions. 3 employees walked past me and never asked if they could help. When manager finally asked if I needed help I said yes please. A staff member was asked to help me. He seemed put out by having to help me, so I left without purchasing new glasses.

I have been coming here for years. A few years ago Joy started helping me and my daughter when we were picking out our glasses! She’s always so helpful and knows exactly the styles we are looking for. My daughter loves her and she helps make the experience fun when searching for the right pair of glasses. We both ended up getting two new pairs this week and Joy helped us search until we found the perfect fit! Always a pleasure when we come in.

Dr Brooke was unbelievably friendly, kind, amd helpful when it came to correcting my lens perception. Joy was super friendly and extremely helpful picking frames that fit my face. Ive been to a few other locations but this one is by far the most friendliest of them!

The facility and staff were all very good. The issue is with the eyeglass frame selection. You over went over board in stocking the majority of styles that dont look good on anyone who does not have a head shape including forehead and other feature that look horrible in Cats eye style frames or round glasses and Aviator styles at all. That is ridiculous also you should as a company have a intermediate style of lens such as not just plastic or polycarbonate. Since you would be forcing people to pay to get the better lenses at for scratch resistance because your plastic will be ruined for many before 6 month at the most has passed. Some might only last someone a week.

The entire experience was awesome right from registration to final priscription.the doctor was very patient enough to explain every bit of information that I needed and very knowledgeable . All the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Kudos to the entire team. I would definitely refer all my friends and family to this place.

Very nice staff. But forgot to get me some shades to protect my eyes from the sun after my eyes got dilated. Was kind of hard to drive home but I got home safe.

I popped in unannounced and was fortunate to get an appointment with Dr. Olson. He was Super, and answered all of my questions in detail. With an extremely busy office with a large staff you might expect a average customer experience, however in this case you would be wrong. Smiles everywhere, politeness abound everyone was great. I definitely recommend the Troy (Oakland Mall) office for all of your eye care needs.

It was the most disappointing experience I have ever had, period. My appointment was canceled the last minute due the doctor calling sick, and second time due to a scheduling error. When I contacted the office they offered with me an appointment same day with doctor Foot who spent 5 minutes in the office with me and apologized and went to communicate a special eye exam results to another patient.No problem there, except he never left the room and started talking about someone’s else special test results.When I asked him if he is sure he is talking to the right patient, he brushed off and proceeded to escort me out to be checked out with someone’s else file in hand.He came back and said, let me see if this the right prescription.Almost two hours later I left without having the right eye’s prescription.Dr Foot is suffering from dementia or drinking while on the job and endangering his clients.Has the level of staffing been so low that you accept this?What about him wearing his mask over his mouth only?You cannot be serious in taking precautions…My family and I have been going there for many years, but I guess I will take my business somewhere else! What a big disappointment, the manager on duty on Sunday Oct 31st at the Troy location was aware but never came out or call me to address this situation.

Poor customer service skills by manager and employees. Extremely poor communication with the employees, the manager was rude and condescending with an attitude as if she was doing me, the customer, a favor by having me to wait 2 hours just to find out if they had a trial pair of contacts. Pretending to be busy when multiple employees appeared to be just standing around. When an employee at the front desk offered to help me, she was told by another employee not to do anything because she would get into trouble with the manager if she helped me ( in front of me). The manager admitted that she didn’t know anything about vision or their products. Finally the one person who “could help me” called to say she would leave my contacts at the front desk for me to pick up later… and I said so no one told you that I was at the front desk waiting. SMH

I have gone to Optim Eyes since I was a young adult. Im in my mid twenties now and I absolutely love the care and support I get from the Henry Ford team. They answer all my questions with great enthusiasm and they never disappoint me. Even if I have to pay more for better glasses frames and lenses this is the place to go because I know they will get my prescription right. And the only reason I pay more is because of my super high astigmatism

Dr. Roney and staff were great, patient and informative!My only disappointment and reason for removing two stars is that they did not give me a copy of my prescription at the end of the appointment.This is a Michigan thing that I forgot about. Other states I’ve lived in require the patient to be given a written prescription.

Stopped in today to try having a loose hinge mount bushing in my rimless lenses tightened, and to check on my warrantee status to check on any potential repairs needed.Unfortunately my warrantee lapsed last month, but Danny my repair tech was still quick, courteous, and willing to assist. After performing a quick tighten, he checked to see what my renewal options may be on the frames coverage before suggesting I be delicate with them until they need actual replacement. Thank you Danny for the quick and friendly service.

3rd time coming here over the past few years. All 3 times everyone that I dealt with had great attitudes. This most recent time they asked if I minded having an intern in along with the doctor. I agreed and the intern cam in and examined me first. She did a great job and was extremely thorough. The Dr came in after and just did a double check. Over all good experience.

Front desk staff were amazing helping me get check-in. Just the process of getting my glasses wasn’t the best.

The doctors and staff were very welcoming. I hadnt been to the eye doctor in a while but they made me feel very comfortable. However, when I initially made my appointment, I asked if they could accommodate my keratoconus issue to measure me for contacts. I was assured that they could. So when I get there for my appointment, they did everything including my eye exam. I was there over an hour only to find out they did not have the scope for my contacts measurement. Now I have to go to the Southfield location in which had I known that I would have made the appointment there in the first place and not have to drive over there to possibly start the eye exam process all over again. All in all the visit was great and once I get the best measurement for my eye I will probably order my contacts or whatever and continue using this location.

I have been going to Henry Ford Optim Eyes for approximately 10 years. It is a very nice office, it is very clean with a nice atmosphere. The staff is very professional. Dr Roney is Amazing!

Great experience with getting checked in and seen by the ophthalmologist. Total time was at least 35 minutes. The only problem I had when getting my current glasses looked at to get lenses only installed, I was told about two weeks. I paid for two pair of lenses and left to get ready for work. The gentleman called me at 10:11am to let me know they could take of my lenses all in the same day and to come back and drop the frames off. I stop what I was doing to go back up there before work and left one pair of frames with them. He then told me they would be ready by end of the day. I told him I worked and could just get them in the morning and swap the frames out. He said ok no problem. Well I never received the call by end of day to say they were ready. I reached out to them the next morning which is today to just inquire if they were ready. I was put on hold for 6 minutes. Someone came to the phone and apologize for having me on hold and said he would call back once the status was known about my frames. I said ok not a problem. I receive another call from the person who helped me the previous day to tell me, the high index lens was not available, 🤔 and that it would be about a week or so. My only problem is you should have known this on yesterday when you called me 11 minutes after leaving the building saying you all could get the lenses done in the same day because you had everything you needed. Now today you don’t have what you need to finish my frames. You all called me and inconvenience me to come back when I did not have too. Again great service in the beginning but the end of all this did not sit well with me.

Do not get discourage with the parking lot. Needless to say parking was packed. This was not an accurate reflection when walking in. This location has a great process from sign-in, per OPs, picking frames and checking out! Amazing!

Experience with Danny was exceptional. Danny offered assistance immediately, and did not hesitate to inquire if I had any questions. He was kind, compassionate and seemed to care about ensuring that I left with a suitable fitting pair of glasses. I appreciate all he did. Wonderful customer service!!

This is my second exam with this facility. Like the first one, I was impressed with the professionalism and curtesy of the staff here. I also want to mention their prescription glasses are very competitive in both price and quality. I got my pairs of glasses with premier designer frames for a little over half of the price compared to the competitors. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve been coming here for years to get my glasses. Great doctors and efficient service. Last time I went there, the lense crafter (David) was kind enough to swap my broken glasses out for free after I explained to him that my late father had bought the glasses for me. Very good hearted and understanding people.

Very nice place of business, my check up was fast I was in and out in about 30 minutes and they were very helpful.

Theyve always been quick, very helpful n informative. When picking up glasses, very attentive... and they always make sure you leave completely satisfied, and all your needs taken care of.

The receptionist Optometrist and most of the staff were friendly efficient cordial. Myvonly complaint would be with Mo the person who was supposed to help me pick my frames. My experience was completely different than the young man whose name I missed that helped my fiance the day before. He took his time to explain the difference between plastic and polycarbonate lens and the different coatings.He also was helpful in helping pick her frames giving advice on what would work best with her lens in her budget. Mo sat down and immediately wrote me up for polycarbonate lens and the other coating that he wasnt really clear about what it does. The only question he asked me was did I want transition lens and what color. Then he asked if I was interested in designer frames and completely lost interest once I said no. If I had been spending cash instead of using my FSA account I would have resisted more and probably asked for a different person. He took a 5 star experience down to a 2.Edit:: My fiance even received her frames faster than I did. She dropped her prescription off on Sat and got a call to come get her glasses on Tues. I did my exam on Sunday and havent been contacted yet as of 11:45 Thurs.

I was really impressed with their Covid cleaning standards! They are constantly wiping every surface clean and that makes me feel safe.

3 years ago Joy helped me picked my very first glasses and I loved it! Now I came back and she was the one who helped me again. Im so lucky to have Joy! I came into Henry Form Optimize in Troy,Mich.and every time I came in it just so happens that Keti Simovski was there to take care of me. She was nice, polite & very patient. While waiting we shared with each other some of the personal challenges we faced during this pandemic & I was amazed that with all she was encountering she was so kind. She is awesome. In a time where personal service has greatly deteriorated, it was refreshing to have this type of service from Keti. Keep up the great work….I also came in today to bring in my sons glasses to be repraired…(he is a student at Northwood University).This was my 2nd time being them within a month. Money is tight because I have 2 children in college & I am retired. After finding out they were beyond repair, I was told by (Kiera Johnson) that as a courtesy they were going to give him a new frame free.. That was such a blessing to me….Thank you Kiera Johnson & Keti Simovski for lifting a heavy load off of me!I also enjoyed their sense of humor… They made me laugh.😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️

I just started going to this location last year. I got a new pair of glasses here and had excellent service! Every time I go back for a cleaning or adjustment the service is just as good! All employees were very pleasant.Most recently, I went in to get a price quote and Joy C was fantastic, patient and very helpful!

Today’s visit was great and I would definitely recommend this location to my friends and family. Upon walking into the building, I was greeted and they took my temperature. Soon after I was checked in and seen my the doctors for my exam. Everything was cleaned and sanitized in front of me and I felt safe in the facility. Everyone was also super friendly! Marissa did a great job helping me choose my frames, allowing me to try on over 20 pair to find the one I loved. I was in and out in about 1 hour. Thanks for the help today!

Fast professional service when I went to pick up my glasses that were chewed by our Golden Retriver and replaced under the insurance program. I highly recommend The insurance. Well worth $30, it saved me hundreds of $$$$ dollars!!!

Great experience from the moment we walked in. Brandy made sure she found my (I did not even know the name of it). Joy and Vicky worked with us and they also were amazing putting up with all of my 4 year olds antics.

On my birthday I had needed an emergency eye appointment and I chose them. Nonetheless, they had no pain medicine for my eyes and they told me to drive to the pharmacy with barely enough eyesight to see. Well Im okay now but I wish they were more empathetic to this black man 😩

Eye doctor gets 10 stars, the front desk staff, not that many, I’ll say 3 stars, they would not let me pay first, then they could not use 2 different debit cards of mine. Then I asked they send me a bill, so I would not forget to pay, she was clueless if she could do that.

I had a great experience with Henry Ford Optimeyes (Troy) Dr Balcueva, Taylor and Joy was amazing during my visit. I love the customer service overall here.Update: I went in to pickup my eyeglasses. Mike (optical dispenser) went above and beyond customer service expectations. This is the best staff. My go to eyeglass store.

No issue with the doctor or technician. Good service. My concern is the high charge to update my glasses lens. It seems like a business try to squeeze the maximum out of the customer. I ended up paying $60 even I have full insurance. I am sure they billed my insurance to the maximum as I received new glasses which I didn’t. This makes me think twice if I should come back or go see small private place.

Smooth check-in process with COVID protocols. Staff and doctors were very helpful during eye exam. Joy gave great recommendations for both sports frames and regular frames.
