I have not gone in yet, but my telephone experience was excellent. The associate I spoke with was patient, kind, and informative. I cannot understand all of the negative reviews.Just went for our appt. and everyone there was amazing and efficient. Great experience!

Dr is excellent!!!!!! We travel back from Farmington Hills because she is professional, kind, knowledgeable and instructive. Best we have experienced. And, current staff is professional and helpful as well. We wouldnt make the drive if we didnt have strong, positive experience here.

Paid for a contact lens exam for my son, he decided he wasnt comfortable removing the lenses, yet they are refusing to give me a refund, a prescription, or trial lenses.September 27, 2019 Update:I filed a complaint with the State of Michigan Attorney General against Dr. Hou for charging me $50 dollars and refusing to tender a refund of a contact lens prescription and her reply in a nutshell to my complaint was that she has been practicing for 17 years and that my complaint was baseless.This Optometrist with 17 years of practice failed to advise me of the risk of blindness to my sons lazy eye if not corrected (according to his Family Medicine PCP yesterday, 9/26/2019, who himself opined that Dr. Hou most likely missed the diagnosis because she is not an Opthalmologist and just an Optimetrist...) and she offered no resolution to the issue of what amounts to stealing my $50 bucks.She should rethink boasting about time in practice if she is going to be missing diagnoses that could potentially lead to blindness in her patient population.It is much easier to meet people at least half way than to brag, boast, and steal.January 20, 2020 UPDATE:Dr. Hou is a LIAR AND A THEIF. She refused to give us the contact lens prescriprion based on the premise that since my son could not remove the lenses from his eyes, he could not complete the exam. I filed a complaint against her with the Attorney General and she explicitly stated that as long as he comes back to her and is able to remove the lenses from his eyes and therefore complete the exam, he could get the trial pair of lenses we paid for and the contact lens prescription.Today I called her to notify her that he was now ready to complete the exam, and she had one of her employees named SUE at first give me the run-around and then claim her policy on completing the exam is within a 90 day period. The is not stated on the written policy that I have.She is a lying, arrogant, unprofessional, seemingly desperate healthcare provider quick to 2 - finger discount people out of money they have paid for services that are poorly rendered. She runs that optometry center like a slot machine in Motor City Casino.Thanks a lot for NOTHING...you big LIAR!!!

1 star just so i could post THE SURVICE HERE IS THE WORST!. WORST experience of mine and my husbands entire life of getting eye exams and glasses. The dr is patient and kind tbh. The techs suck hard. Rude. Unprofessional. Just aweful. Cant explain how bad the attitude and energy is there. Bad.

Was on hold for 10 minutes and the attitude was just poor.

Dr Hou, is great optician. I have got eyeglass prescription from Walmart Vision Center in Troy. Never had any problems.
