I visited Target Optical today for a complete eye exam & a new pair of glasses. Dr. Shammami provided excellent care & customer service. She was very friendly, provided helpful info that was relevant to my individual needs, & made the exam easy to get through. Nancy provided outstanding customer service. She was also friendly, & she was efficient, an excellent multi-tasker, & very helpful as I tried on multiple frames. Thanks to their great customer service, & my optical insurance, I ended up buying two pairs of glasses! I highly recommend Target Optical, & I hope they will expand their operations into more Target stores around metro-Detroit.

Penny helped us with our glasses today. she was beyond amazing! she stayed back an extra hour to get us the best fit possible. She helped me as I spoke with the insurance about benefits. I have been to eye care stores for the last 30 years and she is hands-down the best I have come across. My husband and I will be coming to this one for all our needs. Ordered a pair of glasses here and they came in not looking like the ones I ordered. They offered to re-order them and again, they didn’t come in looking like the ones I ordered so I went in on a Saturday to swap out them out for the original used pair off the rack that I picked out. I wasn’t given a discount so I paid full price for a used pair. There was only 1 lady working with other people waiting and she was rude to customers when asking how long the wait was. I stood there for 45 mins just to leave them there to come back later. The worker did not address the crowd to say how long the wait would be or give me an option to leave them and come back. When people asked how long the wait was, she said “a little while.” I had to take the initiative to go up to her and ask if leaving them was an option or she would have had me waiting there for even longer without keeping me informed. Terrible service.

Excellent service all around. Extremely kid friendly, even with my screaming newborn and independent 2.5 year old. The doctor provided bubbles, crayons, paper, snacks and a special area designated for my daughter to play. Aside from that, she’s also very thorough and explains each process and is very patient answering any questions.The front desk was amazing as well! They were so friendly, and quick too. Was able to have my eye exam, try on glasses and pay all within an hour. I can’t recommend this office enough!

Dr. Erin Ó Neal Wu was AMAZING - It was my first time there and I felt like I had been going to her for years. She was friendly, personable and so kind.The staff was nothing short of that Dr. Erin- I had the most difficult time picking a pair of glasses (I went to my appointment by myself so I didn’t have someone’s opinion) until one of the workers there helped me tremendously. He was witty, funny and was so kind & I was able to find the perfect fit after his help.They staff cares about you. Why wouldn’t you want that?
