Such a cute, friendly, and fun place to visit! I went because I saw they were offering vegan soft serve and it was absolutely delicious! I recommend it for all vegans and not vegans alike. It was really nice to see this option included on the menu, and I hope they keep a nondairy flavor around all the time so I can keep coming back and visiting :)

It’s my most favorite place for matcha ice cream! I have been going there few times, I drove there for more than an hour but it’s so worth! Highly recommend! Bring your family and friend! Staffs are so friendly!!!

A lovely place with some of the best icecream Ive ever had! I had a twist cone with taro and sea cream. It was delicious, cute, and very customizable with many different topping options. They mentioned that they have a flavor that changes monthly, and for September it would be vegan! Which I really appreciate so much.

This place is exactly what has been missing in southeast MI!! The flavor is authentic and their parfait combinations are so fun.Pros: lots of options for parfaits, drinks, or just plain soft serve, great tasting matcha, cute interiorCons: the employees didnt have the best attitude when we went but it wasnt a big deal, a little overpriced (especially when they put a LOT of ice in the latte), service was a little slowThat being said, I will definitely continue coming back to matcha maiko when Im needing my matcha fix! so grateful to have one finally in this area.

Favorite place to go to for a delicious treat! Such fun, yet simple options on the menu! Staff is friendly. The cafe also offers a punch card to earn a free item once the punch card has been filled. Highly recommend!

We visited the location at 12oaks mall and it was amazing;soft serve matcha ice cream and soft serve ube(purple yam) ice cream in generous portions. I havent seen either of these as soft serve outside Hawaii. They also have matcha lattes hot and cold, frappes and floats. My husband and I will definitely be returning to work our way through the menu!

This is my very first time here. It very nice, service is great the guy very patient and very helpful! I got there number 2 special it very good! Ice cream soft and very match lol! :) highly recommended this place if you in town visiting!

So glad I found this place! I miss eating Ube ice cream and this place has it! I got the Ube soft serve mixed with Azuki and it was delish! Even though Im not a fan of matcha, I did find the matcha cake in my soft serve special tasty. Will come here again to try the Matcha soft serve next time

We had a top notch experience during our stop in today.Two different matcha drinks, two flavors of soft serve and everything was delicious. The cafe was clean, the employees were friendly and knowledgeable and we are looking forward to visiting again soon.

First Matcha themed dessert place in Michigan, finally! Really good soft serve and they have other options such as drinks NOT just in Matcha flavor but lychee, ube, mango and etc. However, the ube stole the show for me. Never tried it but it was pleasantly wonderful!

This is THE place to go for matcha lovers. No ever place compares with their matcha lattes. Starbucks could never. My only complaint is that I wish they were able to make their drinks with milk alternatives. I assume they have their drinks premade in batches or something since the employees said they were unable to accommodate for a milk alternative.But if you’re a true matcha lover, this is the only cafe that serves only the highest quality matcha. I love their lattes, both iced and hot, and their soft serves. I hope they also expand to matcha flavored pastries in the future.I also wish their menu was easier to navigate as it is a bit confusing for new customers. There should be better explanations on the menu for those who aren’t so familiar with the matcha offerings they have.

Im Japanese and Macha here is completely similar with Macha from Kyoto in Japan. they are a bit bitter and flavorable.but the only disappointed was the guy that is working there was so rude he wasnt smiling and he was just rude rude rude rude. i hope none of their customers think this is typically Japanese customer services.5 months later...i came here again today, there were 2 servers and they were nice. then i csn come back here again whenever i want!

My wife and I visited this little place and she had very high expectations, and they were met!She is a matcha lover and got a Maiko Special. I am not a matcha fan at all, therefore I ordered a Maiko special with Taro and Sea cream!Both were delighted with the flavor, the textures, and the little surprises in the cup!We will come back for sure!

Been wanting to try authentic Matcha for sometime now, put into Google Matcha places and this was the first place to pop up. They recently opened up and had their grand opening not too long ago. I got a large Matcha Cream I enjoyed it, liked it, definitely would be back to try more Matcha items. They had a vast menus with literally every single item that can be matcha made. Drink came out very quickly and staff was extremely kind.Seems like its family owned and Im all about supporting family owned businesses, especially in my own city.Check them out!

An amazing Japanese dessert shop that does their Matcha & Ube/Taro flavors really well. The soft serve is smooth and doesnt have the grainy texture thats sometimes present.The premium is not an understatement. Everything is pricey but higher quality. Definitely worth at least one try since its unique and does their items really well. Ill definitely come back once in a while to treat myself.In terms of item, I prefer just getting the simpler soft serve, vs the parfait/latte. The parfait is very picturesque.

I visited with three other friends and we all ordered ice creams. The staff was nice and the place was clean but I felt like the price is quite high, considering the portion size.Taste was good though and they have plenty of seating, which was nice 😊

You will not find ice cream flavors like this anywhere else in Michigan, its totally divine, worth the price, and they make the waffle cones in house. Its a little far from home for me, but I like to treat myself once a month for their new monthly twist ice cream. Its always a delight!

Pretty clean place. I ordered a large matcha chocolate cream latte. It was good! There was one other person besides me. I stood waiting for a couple of minutes before somebody came to take my order. There were just 2 sizes. Small and large. Small was like a tall and large was like a grande. My drink was $7.50 ($6.70 + 0.80 tax). So theyre pricier than starbucks :(I also had to ask for a straw...

If you are a fan of matcha ot ube. This is where you need to make a trip to the flavors are on point 👌 and the prices are reasonable. The lady at the cash register / preping the desserts was friendly.

Probably the best matcha Ive tasted anywhere SW Michigan. High quality matcha, very smooth in the latte and ice cream.The space has nice decor, lots of plant and greenery with seating. Cant remember if they had wifi or not or I would say it would make for a good place to study.

New matcha shop in Troy, offering dozens of options for matcha and hojicha drinks and soft-serve ice cream. Ive been here a half dozen times since it opened, and have tried to order something different from the (very extensive) menu each time. Was not disappointed by any of the choices so far.

We love matcha anything... matcha, matcha latte, matcha chocolate, matcha donut, etc. Our favorite matcha ice cream here in the state is häagen-dazs and we liked Maiko’s matcha ice cream better. It’s less sweeter and has more matcha flavor than häagen-dazs. Love it!

Oh my goodness- I did not expect a place like this- absolutely amazing! I honestly couldn’t decide between the matcha and taro ice cream- both were absolutely decadent. The matcha is for real matcha lovers; it has a bold flavor, which I love. My seven year old and I loved it. I can’t wait to go back!

High quality macha and sesame ice cream. My nit piks are: Menu is very confusing and crowded. A little hard to read with so many different combinations. Spoons are too short and flimsy. I couldnt reach the bottom of the cup without it bending like rubber. However, its a refreshing concept to bring Asian style desserts to Detroit. Definitely will be returning.

Overall the experience was okay. The place is not bad but the person at the cashier is not very friendly. Also, she did not try to help us know what is good and what types of things are in the desserts they sell. I am giving this place 2 stars because the one who gave the order was nicer when speaking to us. For what we got, it was a little pricy. We ordered their Maiko Special, and flavor wise it’s a 3/5 stars. The top half is excellent. It contained the matcha-sesame soft serve ice cream with matcha cake bites. However, the combination with the bottom half of corn flakes, red bean, and jelly was lackluster in taste. Because the dry stuff was somewhere in the middle, it became soggy by the time we began to reach it with the spoon. The music was also loud which made it hard to talk at times unless you were father from the speaker. They also keep keep changing what is playing. I know the place is still new so in the future these things may change.

Price a little high. Matcha flavor is good but lacking on flavor for the sesame. They have a nice shop! Have visited twice.

A taste that can be said to Americans.
