I pulled up 15 minutes before closing, expecting to feel a bit rushed, but no. I was immediately welcomed with a smile! Sly took such good care of me!! While he was changing my oil, someone else asked about my windshield wipers. There was a misunderstanding regarding price of the wipers, yet Sly fixed it immediately!! The staff were all laughing and having a great time all whilst giving the BEST customer service. Wonderful environment and I will definitely be back!! Not only is my oil fresh for a road trip to Texas this week, but I’ll be able to see in the rain (my husband told me last week that we needed to get new wipers). To top it off, I was in and out within 15 mins. Thanks, guys!!

My wife went out today to get an oil change. I rode along. She went to the Express Oil in Vestavia Hills. We’ve been taking our cars there for at least 20 years. They’ve always done a great job, and we’ve trusted them with all of our vehicles. Today was no different. Mickey was our service tech and handled everything we needed. He was knowledgeable of the different types of oil that are best for our older model car, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. The tech down in the “pit” confirmed what we had suspected to be a leaky gasket (thank you, Mr. Tech-in-the-Pit). Mickey got a repair estimate for us and also gave us some ideas about other service needs for the car. I trust these guys. They’ve never “upsold” me and their work is first rate. Need auto work? Go see the folks at Express in Vestavia.

I needed a replacement tire and asked them to check my breaks. They changed the tire and told me that the breaks were fine. I appreciate that they didnt try to inflate my bill.

I went in to see about Rotors ... left a couple weeks later my car is still vibrating SCRUBBING AND SQUEALING. I called them to explain the problem their worker was sure to tell me what MY CAR was doing before I left when I’m the one driving it . I now have to spend extra money to go another shop because it’s always an issue when I go to this specific location. Been going to 10 minute guys for a while I have a list full of things that have been performed on my car in the system. I DO NOT recommend this location! As a woman and have to rely on men to fix my car I shouldn’t keep spending hundreds of dollars within a couple months of each other for the same issue

Amazing customer service, they were very helpful in speaking with me about maintenance of my car. My favorite Express Oil Ive been to so far.

I went in to complete my free AAA 60-point inspection today that expires soon and somehow the Express employee checked 60 things in 5 minutes. Taking advantage of my age the employee proceeded to get one of the oil guns and spray oil in a spot in my engine. I was very curious to why he did that and when he told me at the end of my 5 minute 60 point inspection that I had an oil leak that would cost 411 dollars, I realized where that oil came from. This business is full of scam artists that just want to take your money and will take advantage of young ages. 0/10 recommend.

Vestavia Express Oil has Always been Quick, efficient, and they explain everything in detail. Never had Any problems. The Hoover Express Oil broke my Oil Pan. I had a slow Oil leak. I had to involve my husband to get this mistake corrected. Hoover did replace my Oil Pan with a Factory Oil Pan.

I needed an oil change and was having some brake issues. I started out at the rocky ridge location. As soon as I pulled up- I requested for someone to look at the brake problem and start the oil change. I was abruptly interrupted and told that NO additional auto work would be done other than a standard oil change. I was given little customer care and no other options for brake help. I decided to call the Montgomery highway location. Wow, I wish I had started there! Customer service was fantastic!! I was directed to bring the car in- they assessed the problem, offered me options and I was out in under an hour! The manager, Buckie Horton, took time to explain the problem and also found a coupon that I could use. The customer care was exceptional- thank you Montgomery hwy!!! If you want great customer care and quality work- go see Buckie and they guys at express oil.

Dropped in to get my blinker light replaced, these guys are efficient. “Express” is the word. I’ve always had success with this shop, keep up the good work 👍

Excellent service all round! My car died and this was the nearest autoshop. They replaced the tires, and battery for a good cost. Very friendly as well! Would recommend!

I ask the guy for synthetic oil. My truck calls for synthetic from factory. I get out my truck and hes putting in conventional. Cheap oil. Ill never take any of my cars truck or vans here again.

I came in today for an oil change and usually go to a different place. Today this place was more convenient for me. I’m glad I went there because it was the best experience I’ve had so far. Mickey was extremely nice and very detailed about everything they did and also what they recommended I should do soon about my tire rotation. I will definitely go back there just because it was the best customer service I’ve had in a while. We all know that’s hard to find these days. So please if any some reads this give Mickey a big thank you because he is making sure people come back to that location and that company.

I have used this location before and we were overcharged but that is what happens when you have young girls receiving an oil change. Today my and my husband tried to go and waited 20 minutes before leaving. Do not advertise 10 minute oil change. Never happens.

Ive been going to this location for the past 15 yrs (if not more!). What started out as $5 off on a Ladies Day oil change has turned into me being a loyal customer for many of their other services. I trust these guys. Although Brian is no longer the manager, just knowing he is there assures me that things will be done well and fairly. Jeff is also a standout, not only for his knowledge, but for his positive attitude. Honestly, all of the guys are knowledgeable and are there to help. I REALLY appreciate the fact that there is no hard sell. They recommend services needed and let me know its up to me to decide when they will take place. I highly recommend this location. Top notch!

I LOVE everyone that works here; I’m not knowledgeable in the slightest about vehicles. However, they are always so sweet about informing me/explaining things to me. The oil change is quick, and they check all lights turn signals break light etc. they also topped off my tires with air.Jake was so very kind, and Pierce was great as well.🖤

Waited 20 minutes to pull in a bay, then employee ran out and waved the cute girl that just pulled up behind me into the empty bay. I drove away. Used to get oil changed here but no more. Unprofessional customer service. ....Why did you bother to respond to my compaint by asking for more information and they never responding again? Clearly youve proven that your worthless employees are being taught to ignore customers by the management. Worthless!

The employees have been good to tell me in advance when there is something I will be needing to tend to in the near future so that I can plan to return to have the work done.So when I needed significant work and all new tires, I returned to this location with confidence. I got a great price and super fast service. I’ve been coming here for a few years and I’ve never been disappointed. Prices are reasonable! Anthony the service manager is a knowledgeable mechanic. He is very efficient and understands customer service. There are many shops around town, but I will drive extra distance to this one.

I have been to this location several times and the service is always outstanding! The employees are very friendly, honest and knowledgeable and I am always in and out very quickly. I had a break light issue along with a few other things. When they called me with my estimate they informed me of a recall for the brake light issue and helped me get in touch with Kia for a free fix (it was over $100). I highly recommend this location and I will definitely be back!

I was pleased with how quickly my services was done. I had an oil change and also a transmission fluid change. Jeff was very courteous, and when he checked my rear lights one was out - but it was only loose. He was honest with me and I appreciate it!

We went by for a balance and tire rotation and they said we may not want to wait because it would be a few hours. We had planned to leave it anyway so no big deal. I had to go back in to get my key to get something out of the car and 3 employees were just sitting in the office talking. When we went back to get the car a few hours latter around 2:30 we asked if they could do an alignment also for us. They said that there would not be time because they still had several more cars to finish. The guy who told us this was outside leaning aganst the building talking to a couple of other employees. We left and went next door to NAPA for a couple of items and when we got back to our car I looked over and the same 3 guys were still talking. No wonder they cant get any work done in a tmely manner.

I went in to the Vestavia location a few days ago to get my head lights checked because they kept going on & off by theirself. Mickey, the tech that helped me was so professional & friendly. Come to find out that it was.just my battery terminals were loose. He hooked me right on up. Shout out to Mickey!!! If you need anything worked on your vehicle, I suggest that you go check this location & ask for Mickeys help. The team as a whole is wonderful & do everything to get you fixed right on up so that you can be back on the road again. Thanks again.

I recently moved to Vestavia, and dropped my truck off yesterday to get routine rotate, balance, and oil change done. The guys did a great job and were very helpful. I will definitely use them again!

Jeff is awesome. He has been who I ask for for years now. I could take my car to the dealership for certain needs but I usually prefer express oil in vestavia because better deals, great customer care and speedy service. Jeff makes everything really easy!!

The guys were so kind at this location. I was on my way to work and realized my tire pressure was low, and because I don’t know how to do my tires yet, they filled them up FOR FREE and said they would teach me the next time I need to come in for an oil change. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming to them in the future!

This is my place to go when i need my car serviced. The staff has always been helpful and very friendly. I even drive out of my way to go to this specific location because I enjoy the treatment i get here. Oil changes are quick and fast and they never pressure me to get anything I don’t need. I came in for a long over due oil change and was greeted by Technician Scott Williams. He was very friendly and professional As the oil change process was underway there were a few concerns I had because I have an older car. He suggested the high mileage oil (and not just for upsell) and a new fuel filter ( it was in bad shape) I was shown the old and the and informed at every step of every process. I will definitely be returning to this location. Scott gave excellent customer service and excellent product knowledge!

Have always used this location, but today Anthony and the team went above and beyond. I had a time sensitive automotive issue that I needed help with, and he took care of it for me immediately with a smile (on a day with a heat index of 115...reason enough NOT to smile for those working outside) for far, far less $ than I was facing at the dealership. The purpose of my visit was for an oil change but during the safety inspection, Jeff noticed that one of the rear brake lights was out. They had the part in stock and replaced the light with a new bulb. I give them a 5-star recommendation.

Getting an oil change is one of my least favorite things to do but the guys at Express made the experience so enjoyable when I stopped by yesterday! They quickly started working on my car and the entire time I was there took only 15 minutes. They were friendly, knowledgeable and informed me of any potential issues with my vehicle. And the best part was that they didnt pressure me to buy anything! Theyll have my business from now on!

Mr. Williams went above and beyond on Saturday when I got an oil change on 31 in Vestavia. He heard a knocking sound my truck had been making for over a year. He recommended using some oil treatment, and before I left the noise had stopped. I spent over $500 w/ another company downtown and his recommendation (which only cost $14) fixed the problem!! $80 for an oil change? Filters werent replaced and was told the oil was a special synthetic. First off, $80 is ridiculous. Second, if you charge $80, then the filters need to be included. Third, most modern vehicles take or recommend some kind of synthetic oil. Synthetic oil is common and not considered special. Be aware, this business takes advantage of women. Nothing honest about these folks.

Of course they do a great job in the oil change and scheduled maintenance space...that’s expected.But...the mechanics are unbelievable - Bobby and Brian do a great job! Trustworthy and very knowledgeable.Overall - I take both cars to them and have trusted them to do a lot of work including routine maintenance and more complex mechanical work, not to mention I bought tires from them too.Theyre the total car care resource!

I took my 2007 Honda Accord for a routine oil change . The customer service was great. Got there before the store opened. Was the first one service. Expensive, when I left I thought that I had oil in my car and could go another three months until later,and the next oil change. Turn out I was wrong. When I pulled up to get my next oil change there was no oil in my car and they could not find a leak anywhere. I suppose they forgot to put in the oil. But the service technician was great at pointing out the things that needed to be fixed. The car is still running but could not get oil changed until I took it to a mechanic that checked for leaks and engine damage. I want to thank the technician for the great customer service. I guess changing oil was not his thing. I guess thats what the paid $100 plus dollars for was good customer service.
