I am so glad that I bought kitchen appliances from Bray and Scarff. I was fully expecting to buy from one of the big box stores, and only stopped into the Tysons Bray and Scarff to make sure I had seen all of the possible options. Turns out I was missing a lot of great options that were not available from the home centers. Our sales associate, Jeff, was incredible in helping us find the right set for our needs, he helped us maximize savings, and he kept us up to date on delivery times throughout the process. I would have expected high prices and long delivery times, but that was not the case at all. The whole experience was seamless and I could not be happier about this purchase.

Jeff Stanton assisted me in upgrading all my kitchen appliances over the last few months. Over the course of several emails and phone calls, I found him to honest, unbiased and extremely helpful in my product selection. He was truthful about delivery wait times which helped managed my expectations as well. The Bray and Scarff prices he quoted were also very competitive.Their was a small issue with the Monogram dishwasher delivered. When I contacted Jeff about this he immediately put me in touch with a service technician. The problem was resolved with a service visit with 2 days. Jeff then followed up to make sure everything was to my satisfaction.Jeff truly understands and practices the value of customer service and represents Bray and Scarff well. I called this store with questions I couldnt get answered elsewhere and Jeff helped me right away. I proceeded to purchase a washer and dryer that was in stock and set up a delivery date. The store honored a competitors price and helped when the delivery date needed to be moved. The installation went well but there was a small issue with the dryer, which technicians came back to resolve. Overall, I would recommend working with Jeff on your appliance purchases.

My Bray and Scarff experience has been pretty awful. After waiting almost 45 days to get my washer/dryer combo the guys who came to install could not install and left it in the middle of my family room and told me to call a plumber . No body wants to finish the job these days pretty perthitic next time I will use Home Depot even though they are just as bad at least the cost of the unit will be much cheaper.

Ordered dishwasher through the phone and spoke to Jeff (it was backordered everywhere so we knew we had to wait for it). Was told to wait 6 weeks or more due to supply chain issues globally. Jeff made sure my pick would fit under the counter as we decided on a taller tub model and informed about 5 year mfgrs warranty and how to register. Was followed up once dishwasher arrived and scheduled install which took less than an hour. Very impressive. Would buy from again.

I expected for these boutique stores that sell high end expensive appliances to have a better return or exchange policy and customer service.I called their Tyson Corner store about a sharp drawer microwave and learned that it on a back order due to covid. The seller told me that they have a similar one in stock but this one is a convection oven drawer microwave for around a $1000 more. Given that it was not in a back order, we decided to purchase this one instead. When we got to install it, about a month later - we need to get electricity in the cabinet, etc, we learned that this new one is not the exact dimension and is taller than the other one and sure enough does not fit in the space we have in our cabinet. so it was passed the 15 days return policy and of course they did not take it back even for credit for future purchases or exchanging it with the right size. the seller said he would try to find someone who is in waiting list but that didnt work. I would have had a better experience should I have bought it from Lows or Home Depot. You would go to a high end store, willing to pay for the price, to get a good service. Now that I am thinking, the seller did not even tell me about their return policy nor asking me for the dimension of the space we have to ensure what I am buying would fit. You would think, he is more than just a cashier to get your credit card info, and would help you find the best appliance for your needs but you are wrong as they just want to sell. when I called back the 2nd time to see if the seller has found a potential customer, he managed to sell me the original one again. which I later called and cancelled. Never Again, dont do it. There are better places, more established and experienced, who care about the customer experience. The would not even return your calls if there is no selling opportunity so be aware and good luck!

Installer Dago was very courteous and helpful. He and his partner worked expeditiously to install our new dishwasher making sure everything was correct and working.

I just had my oven repaired by Bray & Scarff. I was very impressed. My technician – Behailu Gashaw – was outstanding. He was able to diagnose the problem very quickly and once the parts came in, he installed them very well. I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I wish all my repairs could be done as well as Bray & Scarff and Behailu Gashaw completed this repair. I highly recommend Bray & Scarff and the quality of their service. They were professional, quick, and pleasant to deal with over the phone and in person. Big thumbs up, make it two thumbs up!

Meka and Edox did a perfect job removing our old washing machine and installing the new one. Meka went beyond the call of duty with the installation, even cleaning out the 30 years of dust behind the old machine. He was very personable, and knowledgeable about the new model washer, explaining the features clearly. We were very pleased with the service.

After raising various question about what type of cooktop would be the best replacement for our current broken one, Jeff pointed out many attributes of the JennAir electric downdraft as well as possible problems with other models. He gave me a realistic view of gas vs. electric for my particular situation which made a lot of sense. Jeff mentioned that I would most likely have a cut in the counter to have the cooktop fit. After thinking about the options for a week or so I was sold on the Jenn Air. Once I contacted him the whole process went quickly and smoothly. I do wish someone had made a point that due to the fact that the counter cut was necessary we could have been better prepared by covering everything in the kitchen. Thankfully the installer gave us a little time to quickly put up plastic.After the delivery/installation was successfully completed, Jeff was able to help get the rebate submitted. I appreciated all the service.

Our 15 year old JenAir broke in the first weeks of Covid. We needed a new stove but didn’t want anyone in the house so we waited until late May to get a new one. We could only buy a slide-in downdraft model which is only made by kitchen aid/jenair. We worked with Jeff via phone and text to order the stove. We Never even went into the store. The stove Took forever because the factory was closed. Jeff kept us informed on the status of our order. We ordered in June and it was installed in September. The installation guys were good, polite and answered our questions. One kinda negative thing was the trim package was installed last and the guy didn’t seem to know how to put it in. I helped him figure it out but ultimately the trim is slightly off center. I will survive.Very good service in a difficult time.

Meka & Edox delivered my new stove & microwave; although they both collaborated to get my new appliances in and my old appliances out swiftly and easily, it was Meka who put in the new stove after setting up the microwave on the counter. I was so impressed with his skill and his patience--he even used a level to make sure that the stove fit perfectly with my counters. I never realized how much of a difference that would make! Bray and Scarff is the best place to purchase an appliance as their sales and delivery people are helpful, knowledgeable and go out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied. The delivery people were on time, did a great job and instructed us on the use of the appliance. Our salesperson Kori Clemons at Tyson’s Corner went out of his way to help us. We will definitely return when it comes time to replace more of our appliances.

After six weeks of waiting to receive a positive update on delivery of a refrigerator/freezer from various stores, we were highly recommended to try Bray & Scarff, located right around the corner from where we live. We received phenomenal a d very efficient service from Bray & Scarffs Appliance and Kitchen Specialist, MR. KORI CLEMONS. Mr. Clemons is an excellent and very professional specialist and we were very pleased to meet him. He has a wonderful demeanor. he is very knowledgeable in his profession and was very concerned about our desperate needs for refrigeration. We could not believe it when Mr. Clemons said that we would receive our refrigeration/freezer in a weeks time and he was true to his words. Our delivery man even spoke highly of Mr. Clemons during the installation. We greatly appreciate Mr. Clemons service and he is definitely a top-drawer Bray & Scarff specialist and we would recommend him to others. We also love our Kitchen Aid Refrigerator/Freezer!

Bray and Scarff waisted my time, provided horrible customer service, and failed to deliver what they promised. I turned to Bray and Scarff to purchase a full set of kitchen appliances after reading positive reviews here and some other resources. We went to their Tyson location to begin the process and dealt with Craig Dexter. With his help we chose 5pcs of Bosche appliances that would fit our kitchen. This is the brand we have now, and we wanted to avoid installation issues. We came prepared with measurements etc. We left with the promise from Craig to get back to us with the full estimate. And this is where the problems began. From this point on we had to chase Craig down for every single thing. We had to follow up numerous times before we finally got the estimate. When we finally got the estimate we agreed to move forward with scheduling the measurements for a fee of $60. This too took numerous mishaps, rescheduling and emails. Never Craig has apologized, but always had a ready excuse. When we finally got measurements done, the technician told us that all appliances should fit in place without a problem. So, we were surprised when we received the new estimate with $2500 more than original estimate that already included the installation costs. We have questioned the estimate, and Craig promised to speak to the installation crew and get back to us...and then disappeared. Literally, no follow up, no call nothing.... a few weeks later so not to waist the time we already invested, we went to fairfax location and spoke with the store manager Jeremy. He assured us that he will call the next day or day thereafter after gets to the bottom of this. We have never heard from Jeremey... nothing... so, if you want customer service and helpful staff that is with you throughout the purchasing process, Bray and Scarff is the wrong choice...

What a time to buy a new Sub-Zero refrigerator replacing our old model that lasted 24 years. In the middle of the pandemic, Bray & Scarff and Jeff Stanton couldn’t have performed better. They were patient and courteous throughout what became many weeks of waiting for the right time to deliver and install our new refrigerator. The crew was cheerful, quick and efficient. A great experience all around.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Brian Mitchell helped me from start to finish with a seamless process. I had Home Depot initially come out and fail to get the fridge up my stair case. Brian assured me that his install team would remove the doors and bring it safely into my home. Cliff, Andre, and Enon (install crew) came and the installation went smoothly. They installed the new fridge, setup the old fridge downstairs, and cleaned up everything. Again, absolute perfection and couldn’t be happier with Bray & Scarff from start to finish. I will never go anywhere else for my appliance needs.

I’ve always valued the service element that B&S is known for - I grew up hearing the name ‘Bray & Scarff’ (from my mom) and presumably I saw them when we had new appliances installed or old ones serviced. My mother was all about value and service. She would shop TJX, Burlington Coat Factory and Stride Rite Shoes (don’t fool around with cheap shoes on your feet!!). Her motto was to buy quality, but shop for the best price.My call today was to buy a new refrigerator (ours broke New Year’s Eve morning). I had researched and picked one out, but they couldn’t deliver for over a week (Home Depot). I called B&S to check their price (figuring they would be higher . . . Service!). They were a little higher, but the best part is once I asked the question, they called me and my rep, Jeff, was low key, knowledgeable, quick to provide feedback without drama and he matched the price (which was very close in the first place!!). I also am very happy to buy the service plan which is price competitive and, best part!, if it’s not needed, then I get a credit for the full amount on a future B&S purchase (5 years down the road - but still!!). FYI - the B&S service plan for 5 years was what Home Depot wanted to charge for 3 years (and no credit if it isn’t needed).I wish I had called B&S when I bought the Kenmore Elite (made by LG) fridge that lasted TWO years . . . That is so ridiculous, I am embarrassed to post this . . . . Won’t happen again! The first serviceman said, “oh ma’am, I can’t come out and waste your money . . . . The LG refrigerators are the worst.” I kid you not. Sears came out and the repairman said it needed a “rebuild” and would cost $1,100. I only paid $1,600. D-O-N-E

We had the BEST experience working with Craig Dexter at Bray and Scarff Tysons! We decided to renovate our kitchen and purchase new applicances during a pandemic. When Home Depot fell through, our contractor recommended Craig with Bray and Scarff and we could not be happier with the way everything turned out. We are customers for life!

We purchased a subzero wine cooler from a Bray & Scarff location in Tyson’s corner, Virginia 2 weeks ago and our experience was inconvenient, unprofessional, and confusing on so many levels.Upon arrival and product selection, our salesman exaggerated about the warranty term mentioning that an extra charge would give us an additional 5 years of warranty, later we found out that charge will only give us 3 more years (in addition to the first free 2 years). We were under the impression otherwise.Following the selection of the product, our salesman wasn’t able to obtain product availability from another source, saying the person on the other end of the line isn’t currently “in their seat”. They said we should pay the full price right then and later get refunded if it didn’t end up being available. We offered to pay a deposit and pay the full amount when we found out about availability, but the sales person refused to accept that, saying they can’t place the order unless we pay full price (at that point we didn’t even know if the product was going to be available).The salesperson claimed that there are no available delivery dates at first, so we ended up offering to pick up the fridge ourselves. Later it turned out that they may be able to deliver within a window of time, which they did.A delivery charge was never mentioned by the salesperson, nor he notified us about the additional installation fee and product registration which we later learned from other resources and delivery persons.Our experience was extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory, leaving us unhappy about our new wine cooler which by the way has cost us $4337.60. This level of service and information is unacceptable considering how much we have paid. Both manager and salesman have been notified but have not taken any actions to make it up. We need to speak to a Subzero representative immediately.

Jeff at the Tysons Corner branch was very helpful finding the equipment to put into our renovated kitchen. We told him what we wanted in way of function and he found the pieces that satisfied our requirements. We are very happy.

When our year-old cooktop was recalled, the people at Bray & Scarff handled the refund and replacement quickly and professionally. Jeff Stanton, the Appliance Specialist, worked with the appliance manufacturer and was able to handle the replacement and obtain our refund in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the service and will definitely purchase from Bray & Scarff in the future!

We had excellent service from Brian E Mitchell Sr at Bray & Scarf in Vienna, VA. He was knowledgeable, did not apply pressure, worked quickly and was able to match a better price on the same oven that we had from Costco. The installation of the oven was also very professional. We have two complaints: 1) the individual who came out first to do the measurements did not do a good job as we were told by the installer and by the fact fact that we did not need an installation feature that the measurer said we would need; and 2) the day when we were to be delivered our oven was postponed as the truck broke down. This was somewhat inconvenient, given we had arranged for one person to be home from work.Having said all this - we would highly recommend Brian at Bray and Scarf in Vienna, VA.

Jeff Stanton was an awesome resource for me when I was looking for a new double wall oven. He was able to discuss all of the pluses and minuses for every model that Bray and Scarff sold. I ultimately purchased a Wolfe oven and I have been very happy with my decision.

Wow. I went to the Bray & Scarff in Tysons to buy a dishwasher because my attempt to do it at Home Depot ended in disaster. The Home Depot delivery people didnt want to touch granite, and forgot to disconnect the water when they disconnected the old dishwasher, prior to realizing I had granite. Its been a month since then and they are still kicking the problem back and forth to different insurance people. Contrast that with todays experience with Bray & Scarff. They breezed in, were professional, were perfectly careful, and got in and out fast. The sales people in the store were great too. I definitely have a new appliance store and the Big Box stores now seem irrelevant. Nice work, guys! Craig was a thoughtful and helpful salesperson, and Jeff did a super job when I needed some help with my rebate. All around a great experience, and Ill be back.

Jeff Stanton, the salesperson, was very helpful and efficient during the purchase process and later after the delivery helped walked me through the online rebate submission process for the delivery charge. The online submission program did not have the delivery service as another order item. The submission menu was not clear nor intuitive. Jeff effectively walked me through the process in no time.

Craig is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional.Mike Mike & Stan delivered our fridge with no hassle. They meticulously assembled the parts and made sure it works. These gentlemen are hard workers. Great guys!!!

My 5 star review is directly for Craig Dexter. I came into B&S with high hopes of a job completed in a timely manner. The ball was dropped and I was left calling and needing help. Craig stepped up and took over where others left me hanging. He was a great communicator, he listened to my complaints and suggestions. He didnt make me feel as though my thoughts and opinions were not valid. He came in on his day off to figure my job out and even called me from home, answering an early morning email to make sure I was not waiting all day on a delivery. He scheduled my deliveries and followed up. I recommend Craig as your go to appliance specialist! BTW, I dont even think he got credit for the sale (not that, that was ever discussed) and he treated me as though I was his customer from day one. Thanks Craig!!

Tyrone and Chris did an excellent fast installation of both washer and dryer. They were professional and were very conscientious of making sure everything worked properly before they left. They also pointed out a possible fire hazard with my old venting pipe and replaced it with a new venting flexible hose. They both are a valuable asset to your company

I have had a previous experience at the Fairfax location so I went to Vienna but it was the exact same, when I asked about price match and deferred financing I got a since of frustration from the salesman making feel last than desirable customer.I won’t make the same mistake again.

Kori was an outstanding sales rep throughout the purchasing and installation process. He won me over on the purchase process by coming to the house to measure and ensure we got the correct size, set up a carpenters visit to make adjustments for the refrigerator I wanted and was patient with my decision-making process. When a wrinkle appeared in the delivery process, Kori was hands on in addressing and fixing the issue and came out to the house after delivery to make an adjustment that I noticed after the installers had left. I dont remember the last time I got such complete polite efficient and professional service. Cant recommend Kori (and consequently Bray and Scarff) enough!

We are new to the neighborhood and after having a horrible experience with SEARS, friends suggested Bray and Scarff. Sonny was a fantastic salesman, met my price and had it delivered within 24 hours. Kevin, who made the delivery and installation was just the perfect ending to a great buy. His warm and professional nature was so appreciated, its been a long time since I have received overall outstanding customer service!!!

I have never gone online to write a review before, but after stopping in Bray and Scarff one rainy night this past week, the service I received warrants this review. I had the good fortune to work with Kori Clemons, who greeted me pleasantly, (even though it was just 20 minutes before closing!), and then he patiently worked with me to find the right appliances for a rehab I am assisting with. I am a Realtor assisting a client with this work and we had certain parameters for this job. Kori went out of his way, visiting the property on his time off, at night, to confirm measurements, and then he was able to switch out the refrigerator for a larger one that was a better fit at no additional charge. He called me to follow up on his other day off, and was just a pleasure to work with.I am in a service business myself and I just have to say, that I was impressed. This is truly white glove service. Overall, we had an excellent experience purchasing a new dishwasher from Bray & Scarff. The in-store service was professional and personal. But we want to especially acknowledge the terrific job done by the installers, Anthony and Andre, who did an expert installation while working around some old plumbing problems. We are very grateful for their help and hard work. They did a wonderful job!

We purchased a GE Gas Cooktop from B&S in December, 2019. Jeff Stanton was our Sales Rep. Some unusual difficulties arose during installation. After advising Jeff, he worked closely/efficiently with B&Ss installations manager to ensure our Cooktop was installed before the Christmas Holiday. We very much appreciate his efforts and all that he did to work through problems until our install was completed correctly and on time.

This is not the first time we’ve been working with Matt Bernier on purchasing new appliances. He assisted us with multiple projects in the past, and we keep coming back again and again for the excellent personalized service he is providing. Avoid Bray and Scarff at all costs!Sales and service are equally terrible and at no point care about their customers.Purchased a washer and dryer about a month ago and both machines have spent the majority of the time inoperable.The first washer delivered was delivered damaged and instead of the delivery guys taking the damaged washer with them when they left, they took my older washer (that worked) but left the damaged washer sitting in my living room for over a week until they could deliver a new, non-damaged one. Things went downhill from there. Im still waiting for a service technician (their fourth visit) to come repair my inoperable brand-new dyer and have been told that it will be three weeks until they could have someone come out and look at it.Ive wasted way too much time and money on inoperable machines. At this point, I just want my money back and to have them take the machines so that I can purchase from a more reputable company.I do not recommend purchasing with Bray and Scarff. And from my experience, their repair guys do not know how to actually repair things, so Id avoid their service department as well.

Helpful and responsive salesman and the delivery experience was great. They even came back to make a minor installation adjustment without any fuss.

We ordered a new gas cook top to be installed. Even before selection of the model, they insisted that someone would come and measure the cut out openings on the granite counter top of our kitchen to ensure that the new cook top would fit perfectly and/or if any granite cutting would be necessary. They then helped me select the right cook top within my price ragne and the installation was smooth and perfect. I would recommend Bray and Scarff to all for their kitchen appliances

I was referred to Bray & Scarff by family members who told me Id be able to talk to a knowledgeable sales person. I ended up purchasing three appliances and was impressed with the customer service I received from Clay, as well as the two men that installed them. All three went above and beyond my expectations, to include a price match from competitor and expedited delivery to meet the needs of my schedule. The men who delivered the appliances handled unexpected obstacles from previous installations calmly and professionally.

Jeremy did a quick and efficient installation of my new dishwasher. He removed the old dishwasher is short order and had the new one unboxed and ready to install before I finished cleaning the floor where the dishwasher stayed for 25 years. He went about the install and did so quickly and efficiently with no wasted motion and before I knew it, it was up and running. He made it all look very easy. Outstanding job.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our sale representative Richard Johnson was very knowledgeable, great listener and very professional.

Cliff (the installer), Bo and Enon (crew) came to our home late in the day and still managed to have a cheerful attitude. They were on time, called ahead, professional and did a great job. Even my wife mentioned that it was refreshing to see individuals that really enjoy their jobs . . . even after a long day. I highly recommend Bray and Scarff and hope the management there will pass along my compliments to these 3 individuals.

Was a little nervous based on some other online reviews but took the gamble. Glad I did, Sonny greeted us when we first walked in - allowed us to explore and was available when we had questions. Was never pushy or gave me that uncomfortable feeling when they won’t leave you alone. We left to think about it and returned later that evening - even tho Sonny was not there - the rest of the team assisted and got us all setup (even under Sonny’s name to ensure he got the commission). All pricing was up front and reasonable with no hidden charges. The first gentleman that came did measurements - he was professional and nice. Delivery came on the expected noted on day of purchase with no delay - again, professional individuals. Overall, extremely happy with our new dual fuel range and would return in the future for additional appliance replacement needs.

Dishwasher died on Sunday; my husband and I looked around online and identified a GE Profile model that we liked but went to the Tysons store in person to find out how quickly it could be delivered. We were offered a good price, ordered it Monday afternoon, and had it installed -- by the very pleasant and polite Jeremy -- on Wednesday morning. Jeremy removed my old dishwasher, gave me the opportunity to sweep out the space before he hooked up the new one, checked that it worked and had no leaks, and cleaned everything up before he left. Excellent!

Store manager Richard Johnson did an excellent job detailing the specifications of the SubZero refrigerator and microwave I purchased from him. He ensured a professional came to my home to measure the space for both items, thoroughly explained my options and answered follow-on questions. The installers for my SubZero (Cliff/Andre/Ervon) were also very professional, courteous and efficient installing my refrigerator. Thank you to all above gentlemen.

Micha and Andre did a great job installing my new Speed Queen washer and dryer today. They had to maneuver the appliances down a sloped yard to the back door, and then through a tight door into the laundry room. They uninstalled the old appliances, installed the new ones, guided me through the new machines, and were out the door to the next customer in 30 min. They were on time, professional, organized, neat and FAST! I do appreciate the great service from Bray and Scarff.

We recently purchased a Bosch gas cooktop and a GE Profile wall oven from Bray & Scarff. Our salesman was friendly and courteous, but he forgot to include the downdraft blower motor in our original contract. He compensated for that shortcoming by reducing the price of other items to make the additional, unexpected cost less painful. It was a human error that you have to forgive.Our installation team was SPECTACULAR. Cliff and Andre are technical wizzards. They showed up almost exactly when they were scheduled to arrive and worked without pause until our installation was complete. Watching them work was a thing of beauty, like a perfectly coreographed ballet. It was as though Andre could read Cliffs mind and was ready to assist before Cliff could ask for help. They worked safely and professionally always mindful and respectful of our home. They cleaned as they went along and then again when the work was complete. When unanticipated problems were encountered, Cliff drew on his vast experience as a professional installer and calmly overcame all obstacles. For example, we unexpectedly discovered that the new downdraft exhaust blower motor interferred with two sliding drawers in the cabinet beneath the cooktop. Cliff expertly modified the drawers, preserving as much function as possible, to accommodate the blower assembly. Whatever Bray & Scarff is paying thiese guys, it cant be enough. Their knowledge of the product, its installation and use was most impressive. It was an absolute pleasure to have these two gentlemen in our home.

My dryer failed unexpectedly, so rushed to buy a new washer and dryer. My salesperson Craig was great, and helped me decide the set I should get, but the delivery guys made the experience! Friendly, quick and no mess! Thank you Justin, Rede and Satah!

My experience with Bray & Scarff was one by which other companies should take note. From the research and planning stages to my final purchase and installation, the staff, especially Craig Dexter, patiently and meticulously walked me through each step. He listened to my needs and concerns. In the past, other companies tried to deflect my questions with irrelevant information. Mr. Dexter ensured my new KitchenAid refrigerator was not only what I needed, but made sure the installation went smoothly. At the time of my purchase, I knew my dishwasher would be next in line for replacement; but it wasnt in my budget. Mr. Dexter did show me some options for dishwashers but after listening to my financial limitations, he did not push me into the extra purchase; he simply told me to call him when the timing was right. With his personalized care and attention to detail, Mr. Dexter and Bray & Scarff are my go-to company for appliances and service.

Its really hard for me to believe your call is important to us when, first, the Tysons store didnt pick up their phone well after the opening time of 9 am; and second, when I had to spend at least 20 minutes waiting for the B&S repair service to pick up their phone. This, to repair a refrigerator ice maker that already had to be replaced six months ago.

I have previously purchased a GE Cafe range, dishwasher, and a fridge from Bray and Scarff for my old home. Everything went fine that time and I was happy with the products. During the renovation of my new condos kitchen I decided Id buy my new appliances from Bray and Scarff as well.My issue specifically relates the ventelation hood I purchased above the range. Now, keep in mind this is a small condo, which I specifically mentioned to my sales person Tommy Yuhas. I just wanted something that was quiet, but he recommended the Zephyer chimney hood which retails at $799.00 and is 600CFM. Upon delivery, before the box was opened my contractor informed me that the ducting in my condo cannot accommodate such a powerful hood and that i should return it.I walked into Bray & Scarff and met with Tommy to return the item who essentially pointed to the paperwork where it said No returns or exchanges something he never mentioned to me during the sale. He also said that I never mentioned anything about the ducting in my condo or he would have said something. While he was very friendly during the sale process and a complete jerk when I tried to return the hood. I realize I should read the fine print, but he should have made a good faith attempt to notify me that the appliance was not returnable, or that there are some compatibility issues that I need to look into. I went to Bray & Scarff so that I could receive advice from an expert, I would have been better off buying this online.I am now stuck with an $800 ventilation hood that will not operate properly. I think that this sales person didnt act in good faith and as a result I will be advising my family and friends to avoid Bray & Scarff in the future.
