We had a fantastic experience with Darryl. He was honest, knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly not pushy at all. We appreciated the straightforwardness and respect he gave us from the beginning. We walked away with a brand new XC90 and an open line of communication with him to come back and learn more about the car since we had our little ones with us and they were tapped out! Couldn’t reccomend working with him more!
No fuss wonderful service from Darrell ~ best car buying experience ever and this wasnt my first rodeo~Mahalos!!
First and foremost I would like to give a shout out to Darryl. He was extremely professional and went out of his way to ensure I was taken care of.I got a good deal on my trade in and I got a good deal on my 2020 S60 T8 R-Design. I might have the only one on the island. I love this car.Anyhow, I recommend Cutter Volvo to anyone. The staff is awesome and youll be surprised with the new lineup that Volvo has.
I had a really pleasant experience going to look at a car for my wife. Darryl Geralds was my salesman and was extremely courteous and knowledgeable about everything that the XC90 had to offer. Darryl made sure I wasn’t feeling pressured or rushed or any of the normal car salesman tactics that you normally think of when buying a vehicle. I couldn’t believe the amount of features that come with the new XC90s and how he is able to remember all of them is beyond me. Overall, I highly recommend going to Cutter Volvo for a vehicle and I can’t think of a better person to help you find the right vehicle than Darryl.
Great vehicle at a great price! Highly recommended!
Great dealership and friendly helpful staff ..Volvo cars are beautiful and amazing drive and performance and excellent in safety..
Darryl Geralds is awesome! He is no-nonsense, listens to the buyer, provides helpful recommendations and knows a lot about Volvos! I went in to purchase a used car for a model I had researched and decided on. Darryl had the car ready to test drive when promised and when offered me choices that were also good values. He shared with me the benefits of a Volvo and when I asked to just
Took my car in for service after we had purchase a very expensive service program to find out it did not cover tire rotation. Really who does that and they wanted 125.00. They asked me twice if I would like the car washed and I said yes please. They said give them 2 hours. We came back 3 hours later and they never washed the car. I was so upset with the whole experience. So disappointed they promised great customer service and I see nothing.
Great customer experience. Our salesperson Darius was the best!
They always do a great job with getting my Volvo in and having its service work done quickly. Jenny is a ray of sunshine!!!!
We bought a used 2016 Mazda with 11,000 miles from Cutter Volvo in Waipahu and it was in excellent condition per the Sales Manager (Scott and Juan). Also it was only owned by one previous person. Come to find out it had significant damage under the car. Fools we are not to check it out but the damage wasnt visible. Also we found out through Car Fax, it had been sold twice (not once) previously by Cutter. Of course they refused to pay any portion of the repairs as we signed off with a checked AS IS box. Shame on you Cutter.Since I posted this Google (and a Yelp review), 2 Cutter Sales Managers (Isaac and Darryl) have called in concern without any resolution of the issue. Darryl asked if we would be interested in another vehicle (what does that mean?) and Isaac has yet to return my call in response to his voice message. I understand Scott no longer works there and Juan is the Sales & Finance Manager.
I had the most awesome experience at Cutter VolvoThe salesman and Mgr.were very very helpful. I would recommend Cutter Volvo Waipahu to anyone.
I had 2 Volvo leases and was a bit disappointed the dealership became Cutter in Waipahu as I live on the East side. However me and my family enjoy driving my Volvos, especially our 16 XC90 T6, so I paid a second visit after first going in for a factory complimentary maintenance.I remember seeing Darryl while waiting out the initial service call and thought he seemed friendly, so I told myself thats who I would hope to work with (I had inquired online prior to getting there, the people I communicated with were responsive and professional). The aesthetics of the facility itself has room for improvement, compared to other European brands but I imagine its work in progress due to the recent acquisition, although all the amenities are there and I would rather have excellent customer service and great value over appearance anyway. Sure enough Darryl is as easy going as I imagined, but I was mostly surprised by the Sales Manager Juan Santana.I do not think I am unreasonably demanding but I know I am not easy to deal with some times, especially when it involves a lot of money. Juan was able to address all my concerns and went out of his way to accommodate me over several days. I know he is doing his job, being very patient and all, not just because I already have 2 Volvos. I felt he is sincere and that really sold me. It didnt stop me from trying to get the best possible deal and even threw a curve ball here and there but Juan never lost his cool. It felt more like friends trying to get something done together. For that reason alone I would refer family and friends to go shop his inventory regardless of what car they want and which brand or dealership they are considering. People and their attitude can really make the difference so now I have a new Volvo V90 Cross Country and enjoying it.
I truly appreciated the efforts of the Cutter Volvo service team during my recent visit. The Service Advisor kept me advised of the progress the technicians were making on my vehicle. I know my vehicle is in good hands when I bring it to Cutter Volvo for service. Thanks!
Went to look at a car and a worker named George was a bit rude when we expressed disinterest in buying one of the cars that was shown to us. He comes off as intimidating and way too pushy. The other man, Tom, was great and really friendly though.
These guys suck! I recently purchased my first pre-owned car from Cutter Volvo with the help of Juan and Scott. They were great w/ making sure I found the car I wanted. One of the problems is that Juan provided false information. We were told that the car had one previous owner and no accidents. After paying for a copy of car fax which was no longer included in the purchase documents, we had found that the car had two previous owners both who purchased from Cutter. I agreed to sign an as is form stating that we have checked and approve the condition of the car. All was well until I had work done on my car and the Auto Specialists noticed previously covered damages on the vehicle. We asked Cutter Volvo about the previous damages and got the worst customer service. We werent serviced, we were shut down as they shoved the as is form back in our faces. How am I, a young adult supposed to check underneath the clean paint while buying a car to make sure there are no previous damages. That is an expectation from any good quality car dealership. I am disappointed because we were screwed over and when we asked for help we got none.
Yes, this really happened. Youre free to form your own opinions as Im simply stating the facts of the events.Last week, I took my Volvo into Cutter Volvo for a routine oil change during which I was told of a need for another repair unrelated to the oil change. I then took it to another repair shop for a second opinion. When they popped the hood open, they found a screwdriver left on top of the engine compartment. Additionally, they performed the repair for close to $200 less than what Volvo quoted me. When I took the screwdriver back to Volvo and handed it to a gentleman who hangs out in the front, he chuckled and said Haha...they were looking for that!Again, just stating facts. Yes, this really happened.
They take good care of me!
Great staff, and they have the facilities to service my Volvo!
