Good: Ron at Star Auto was great. Salt of the earth kind of guy.I also, had the fastest buying experience ever. I expected several hours, but I was out of there in 30-45 minutes after I decided to buy. They even transported me home, since I didnt do a trade in.Bad: Typical used car dealership things. They didnt talk to me about the car. If you have questions, dont expect them to know; look it up yourself before coming. No set route for test driving.They pulled up the bill of sale and asked me to start signing; there was no negotiation and the vehicle definitely needed talking down in price. They left grease marks from their hands when pulling the price tags off the windshield. They were rushing me out so I wouldnt negotiate.Overall I would say if you know the car is good, then buy from here on a good deal. But this is not your usual car dealership experience.

DONT BUY ANY VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE! THEY TOOK OUT THE BULB FOR THE ENGINE LIGHT ON THE VEHICLE I GOT FROM THEM AND DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS ALOT OF PROBLEMS WITH IT. We whent to purchase a car did not have it for more then 2 days and car gave us problems after they promised me that it’s was a good running car and well maintained car I have told them I’m looking for a honest car I have kids and a baby on the way at anytime now and yet it almost broke down on me I took it back and the owner was very very rude very disrespectful told us to leave the car and take our money and go cause there plenty people who willing to buy it anyways they lied about the car from the beginning and yet we put down $4,000 up front be careful going there our first time and bad experience

Got a good car at an affordable price. Paperwork took awhile mostly because of covid shutdowns. Frustrating all the way around but they came through in the end during these irritating times.

DONT EVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE!! They sell faulty cars and scam people! We made the mistake and bought a car from them and a bit over a month later it presented a transmission issue that costed us $3000! From the research we did it seems like they knew all along about the issue existing and they had made it go away temporarily and even said it was in excellent mechanical condition. We would had sued the place but the lawyer would had cost more than the repair. This place is a joke! Christy is a liar and a thief!! STAY AWAY FROM IT!

This place is a joke. Not friendly very unorganized. Their ad on Craigslist did not match the vehicle. It was listed as excellent condition and when we got there the vehicle had a cracked radiator. When we asked the salesperson about the issue she first says that they knew about it and that’s why it’s so cheap. So we kindly told her that she should change her ad to correctly describe the vehicle. She then starts yelling at us telling us they did not know about the issue and we are being rude. What is rude is you lying on your ads wasting people’s time! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! VERY DISHONEST!!!

I would advice everyone who is looking for a reliable vehicle to avoid this auto lot and their negotiator named “Christy” she is highly unprofessional. Ads posted by this company are very deceiving, don’t not waste your valuable time driving to this lot located in Waipahu.
