I went in to get a signal bulb replaced and they were able to fit me in later the same day. When I arrived I asked about adding an oil change and they happily agreed which saved me a trip back later in the week. This was my first time here and I will gladly return every time I need services done when I’m in town.

Chris at VIP did an excellent job mounting and balancing my tires. I went in to VIP on edge and nervous because the rims I have for my car are expensive and the paint is delicate. I didn’t want them to be damaged or scratched by a rushed job. Chris was friendly, patient, professional, and he took his time. Before the old tires were removed he made sure the rims were cleaned first. It wasn’t a fast simple swap and mount but there was no damage to my rims when it was done and they were balanced very well. He even went to the extent to remove the old sticker adhesive from the last tire weights from the rims with the use of air power tools and a rubbing compound. He went the extra mile to make sure the job was done correctly. Highly recommend and happy with the service.

Great service! Garret and Mark were wonderful to work with, when I popped my tire early Thursday morning, they were able to get me right in to replace my tire! The store unfortunately did not have my tire size in stock and the wonderful employees went to a surrounding store to get me the correct size!

First alignment sucked, the guy told me it wasnt perfect but my car would drive straight... it infact did not.Pretty cool theres a 90 day warranty though 🤷🏼‍♀️Brought it back next morning and a diff *older* more experienced mechanic re aligned my wheels and everything was good.

This was my first experience with VIP Waterville, ME. I needed an inspection for an 2006 BMW purchased out of state. I was given an appointment only a couple of days out as compared to over two weeks wait time offered by other businesses licensed to perform inspections. When I arrived, the service rep. was prepared for me, handling the paperwork efficiently and with a sense of humor. The car was ready to go within a half hour. I was concerned that there might be an attempt to generate a list of required or strongly recommended repairs; however, I was sent on my way with a clean bill of health. I definitely plan to return for my next scheduled maintenance.

Went in 20 minutes to close on a Friday, needing an oil change. They were able to fit that in, and were cheerful about it. The great service and positive attitude continued for the whole visit, even when they ended up leaving late to finish up the transaction. Thanks for rescuing the stressful day.

This was my first time at VIP. They took the time to listen to any concerns I had and did a great job explaining anything to me. They went above and beyond what was needed and I felt they provided excellent service. I definitely see myself returning in the future!

These folks have been maintaining my vehicle for nearly 3 years and Ive always had great service. I especially appreciated the mechanic taking me into the garage last week and showing me what was wrong and explaining the service I needed. They were able to get me right in and get it fixed.

Mike was amazing! He found damage to my rocker panels that I was unaware of and hooked me up with who he recommended to fix it. Very happy with my oil change and state inspection!

Blew a trailer tire on I95 was able to limp along to Waterville. Called location ahead of time, and advised they had the tire I needed. This was about 1 hour before closing time. When we got there, I already had tire off, they were able to mount and balance on my rim and get us on our way very quickly. Staff was awesome, friendly and helpful.

VIP always has prompt service and a helpful, kind atmosphere. I’ve had both my tires rotated and my alignment done and was very happy with both services. Will be coming here again.

We just wanted to shoutout Garrett and Chris at VIP for not only going above and beyond to take care of us, but getting us back on the road quickly. We were on a road trip from Michigan and had an issue that we needed addressed immediately. After calling 5 other places along the way and being told they couldn’t even look at the issue for multiple days, the guys at VIP said to bring it right in without any hesitation. We are now back safely on the road with only a small amount of time lost. We wish these guys were located in Michigan because we would never go anywhere else. 12/10 recommend them to everyone!

Just moved to Maine, so needed an inspection. I thought it was odd to have to make an appointment and wait a few days, but the service was great. They were clear about issues with my car and there was no pressure to up-sale.

We got an oil change at fast oil change place and the next day oil was dripping out of the car. VIP got us right in and worked past closing time to get the car fixed. Garret provided excellent customer service and the man that worked on the car was excellent in telling us at each step what was wrong and how it could be fixed.

First garage that Ive ever gone to and left feeling like I was heard & taken care of. The team they have in their Waterville location is top notch! From the front end staff to the mechanic who did my inspection I am thoroughly impressed! I will definitely be taking my Jeep to VIP for all future repairs and requesting the same mechanic who did my inspection. Cant say enough good things about my experience.

The new waiting room is comfortable for any length of wait time. The staff does well at checking in with you on the vehicles progress and issues. They will even give you safety glasses and bring you in the garage to show the problem before you make a decision.

This was my first time using VIP auto and I had a very positive experience. They did a great job explaining what needed to be done with my car following my inspection and gave me estimated wait times that were spot on. I will be coming back for my future car needs!

I came on 2 different days, dealt with 2 different sets of staff members, and honestly every single one has been pleasant and helpful.. wicked rare these days haha. Definitely a busy shop, dont get your panties in a bunch if you cant be patient, theyre trying their best (especially in the heat).

I had my winter tires taken off. I got the free change over when I bought my tires. I bought the x-tra change over with the tire maintenance service. The service was great. I will get them changed over in the winter. It is a very good deal.

Came in for an oil change August 20th, 2021 and they ran tests to make sure everything was working. Discovered my alignment was out but the fix was free since i had one done previously in the last 90 days. They discovered my brake pads were also worn out on the rear tires which was causing the alignment to go out so frequently. During the brake replacement they found a bolt was stripped and offered to replace it without any additional labor charge. In addition they fixed my differentials, and replaced my gear oil. Throughout the entire process the mechanic showed me the damage, explained what he would do to fix it, and showed me the replacement parts going in. My car drove like it was brand new afterwards and all the random sounds I normally heard while driving have gone away. Overall, the experience was great and, the staff were friendly and more than willing to explain everything in detail.

Positive personable and professional. I was able to bring in my car for an inspection and was given quality inspection and other concerns about car maintenance brought o my attention. Team was quick pace and concerned about the quality of the customers experience.

I purchased 4 new 18 tires for my Tundra on 5/2/2021. They didnt have them in stock at the Waterville store but had them for me the following Monday and installed. They did a great job and quicker than promised.I highly recommend VIP for your tires

I have been going to VIP Tires and Service for about a year now. Every time I go, I am treated with respect, and I believe that my vehicle is respected, as well. I have a comfortable place to wait; however the wait is never too long. I appreciate the extra checks that the team does on my vehicle, even if I am only getting an oil or tire change. I had an amazing experience here! I always do actually. This recent trip was for my inspection. They got me in and out fairly quickly, the service tech was clearly knowledgeable about cars. He talked to me in a way I could understand(Im not very car smart) but he also didnt talk down to me. He even recommended without pushing me a service to help prolong the longevity of my vehicle, they dont perform that service there so he wrote the name of a place, the number, and what the service was called so that in the future if I decide to invest in that service I am able to. And I think its cool that they have a program where if you do a google review you get a free oil change next visit. Great job guys!

This is an updated review, I will go back to these guys and I recommend them with five stars. Originally I put three but they answered my question and Im good giving them a great recommendation.My main gripe is it took 45+ minutes to do an inspection which seems to me to be a bit long. Maybe Im wrong, to be fair Im not a car guy so maybe thats normal. Otherwise they were friendly and easy to deal with. If Im wrong on the inspection time let me know and Ill happily change my rating...

Friendly is staff, they take the time to come out and explain the problem and what needs to be fixed. Prices are reasonable for repairs. They have a nice waiting area if you need to stay and you can typically get an appointment within a day or two.

Hands down best mechanics around. Free inspections for veterans, active duty, first responders etc. Very competent techs and super transparent. Anytime ive ever had an issue with one of my vehicles they take me out to the bay and not only show me but explain possible reasons why and how to get it fixed. Very personable guys here. All the techs have been great but I always request Tyler. Tyler has always been awesome. Very fast service and fair pricing too.

I had been bring my car to VIP for years - each time I brought my car there was something new wrong other than the issues that I had brought it in for, even if I had just been there the previous day. Before I would get the work done I would talk to my father - who is a mechanic- and 95% of the time what they said needed to be done actually didnt require service or fixing. Because of the issues adding up, I ended up going to Midas. When it came time for inspection, I ended up needing new tires. My husband had just bought the tires BRAND new ($1000)less than a year ago at VIP, so I could be safe driving back and forth to the hospital during Covid as I was putting my life on the line each day. the mechanic told me that the tires were wearing because of being overinflated. I had not touched the tires since VIp put them on my car. Midas has been nothing but respectful to me and have not F***** me over. VIP thought my gender meant I knew nothing about cars nor did I have anyone I could ask.

VIP in Waterville is a great place for all your automobile needs! I take both of our cars here for everything and I’m always impressed by the care & customer service. They really take the time to make sure our vehicles are in tip top shape and then explain to me everything I may need to pay attention to for preventative maintenance. Make sure to schedule an appointment because they are busy but the wait room is clean and comfortable plus you can watch them working on your car for peace of mind.

Called for an appt originally got a date 2 weeks out, they then called me back and was able to get me in the same day as I called. This is customer service at its finest.

Just went to VIP in Waterville, ME. I have been here a few times before. I went in for a simple oil change (full synthetic), tire rotation, and a state inspection. I myself am a mechanic by trade and I am now a service writer. I made sure to ask what the price was for the oil change and tire rotation since this is a new vehicle to me. I was told that the oil change is $65 and the tire rotation would be $20. So now I’m planning on $90 or so after tax (inspections are free right now). My vehicle is almost done and I am told that I can pay. My bill came to $111.60. I asked the guy are you sure. Cause I was told $65 for oil change and $20 for rotation. He THEN told me that it is $65 up to 5 quarts and any more oil was extra. Now me being in the service business was floored. As a service writer, if I give a customer a quote then I make sure to have all information before quoting. The MANAGER, who booked my appointment and gave me the price had my year, make, and model. I also informed him that it has to be full synthetic since that is what my vehicle requires. Since when does a service manager or service writer has the right to only give partial information on a quote or be able to decide to not honor the quote that was given. To say the least, I am extremely displeased with the whole transaction and I would never even think of doing this to one of my customers. I have always had a good repertoire with the previous manager and never had an issue like this. I would not recommend doing business with this company at all, since they are able to quote something as simple as an oil change and tire rotation just to not stand by it. I can’t even imagine what they would do with brakes, exhaust, or god forbid something bigger.

I bring my car to VIP Waterville for everything. They have the lowest prices when I need work done and they’re keeping my car running long into 200k miles. I get all my tires here too. Last time I was here I got a great deal on a much needed power steering and break fluid flush. I really value their flexibility in scheduling compared to other places and they are usually fast on most jobs with a nice waiting area. Don’t know what I’d do without VIP.

I recently went to VIP to have my winter tires taken off and swapped with my summer ones. While I was there they were super helpful and even checked the alignment at the end of the appointment because I had forgotten to ask them sooner. They had already finished what they needed to do with it but were happy to make sure the alignment was done. Thanks VIP!!!

They were able to fit my car in for new tires within a couple of days and their prices were comparable to other quotes I received, so I choose to buy from them. They provide free tire rotation services and took the time to also point out to me some other safety concerns they observed re my car and gave me information to make an informed decision re repairs needed.

Went in for a $10 oil change, and they were quick about it. We were also in a bit of a rush and had to bring our dog along. They let us bring him to wait with us while we waited for the oil change to be finished. They were also very helpful with answering any questions I asked!

I blew a tire and for the very first time I changed it all by myself (proud moment lol) I took the busted tire to VIP, they tried to fix it but it wasn’t patchable so they put on a new tire for me. Everyone there was friendly, it wasn’t too expensive, And it was quick. I highly recommend this VIP!

PJ and his team were incredible! Went in for an oil change and in their walk around inspection they caught a broken wheel bearing that was incredibly unsafe to be driving on. They took care of it right away and provided us with informative paperwork regarding our vehicle and what it’s suggested servicing times are. One of the workers was even able to tell us about a recall we hadn’t known about. Can’t say enough good things about VIP Waterville!

The service was so awesome, the associates were super friendly. I had to bring my kids with me and they took them out to look at our vehicle and gave them safety glasses! Edit - After speaking to the manager, on his initiative not mine, it appears there was some confusion around what actually happened. So, I still dont know for sure if I got the tires I wanted, I cared about the warranty and only bothered to remember the price. However, the district manager was very helpful and when he couldnt locate the correct information decided to hold the warranty I expected to get on those tires I ordered. While i believe there customer service could use some work, If they fix that I would recommend at least giving them a chance.I came in for an appointment and had to order new tires. They apparently couldnt be bothered to do that so I had to get the .ore expensive tires they had in stock or drive my vehicle illegally.I will not be coming back here. And the Doltan guy I spoke to both times us a great reason for that.
