I was told my money was no good unless I wore a mask in this Apple store. Meanwhile there are people touching all kinds of devices who likely didn’t wash their hands after using the restroom, sneezed into their hands, or just got done changing theirs baby’s diapers. Wearing a mask after taking part in any of these scenarios is useless. I have purchased more than $10k in my life of Apple products. I’ll take my $1k elsewhere today. I will be leaving the Apple ecosphere in the near future.
The mall was very calm today. I went to Champs but they did not have the size I wanted. However, they were able to recommend me to another store (Foot Locker) that had exactly the right size. I thought that was great that one store found what I needed at another store. Way to go Champs!! Kindness goes a long way.
I had a really good experience at this store. I worked with Art and he was amazing and super personable and I hope that if I go to the store in the future, he’s there!! The issues I had with my phone were all solved in a timely manner and well done.
We went to get a new MacBook. As this was a few hours away, we considered just going to Best Buy. Once we started working with Jake, we knew that going to Best Buy was a bad idea. Jake answered all my questions. He answered them in a way that wasn’t confusing. He was personable. I would go back to this Apple store and work with Jake any day.
We go here every year and the location is fantastic because it’s near my house and the shop itself is great. The next step is the have more things in stock, especially the pro max version of the new phone and the Apple Pencil. I don’t know if it’s to do with the company or the store itself but the store has most things out of stock. I would definitely recommend this store and good luck with shopping there for everyone who is reading there! 👍⚡️⚡️⚡️
Very crowded but I expected that. Its an apple store. Was surprised that it didnt take me long to get what I needed.
I have been visited a Apple store in many of years but setting foot in this store make me feel as if Ive been here many times before. The staff is deeply inspiring just as they are intelligent. Even for the pandemic being an issue, the store was not packed. I was able to shop and be attended to by several individuals who respected my boundaries and wished for understanding of what I wanted to purchase.
Great in-store experience, friendly staff. My problem is that I dropped off my multi-thousand dollar MacBook to get repaired and I get no tracking, no email updates- nothing. Its traveling around to some unknown repair center and I have no information whatsoever! I order a $.90 pencil on Amazon and I know when it ships, where it is, when it will arrive- everything! Get it together Apple! You have the cash flow to vastly improve the communication on repairs!

I took my iPhone here after Geeksquad caused a problem w/touchscreen after they replaced my battery.. luckily the touchscreen failed within 3 months of my battery being replaced so I didn’t have to pay anything.. the staff was helpful and answered all my questions. They had my phone fixed in less time than I was quoted.. I recommend that anyone with an iPhone or any Apple products get them serviced here..
Apple ID one of a kind when it comes to dealing with the public, even in the pandemic. I was there recently to but MacBook pro. You can ask just about anything and they will come up with an answer.
Management told my friend over the phone that she could come in 5 mins late & he would make sure someone was there to let her in. We drove 50 minutes and ended up being on time and the security guard wouldn’t let her in and wouldn’t let her speak to the manager she was on the phone with. All she had to do was pick up an order that they already had waiting for her.
The Mayfair Apple store has blocked off nearly the entire hallway in front of their store and numerous others, with absolutely no thought for the other businesses they share space with. Congratulations on ensuring i will NEVER buy an Apple product and will highly discourage others as well. Guess being a multimillion dollar company means you dont have to care!!!
I think the store does the best it can manage to do. This location is always busy, people always are trying to get questions answered, or making large purchases. I think with that in mind, its understandable some of the wait times. If you need to set an appointment, be prepared to wait. If you need to pop in for something quick, they do the best they can on getting you in and out fast.

I went to the apple store and the people there told me my laptop I came to purchase could support dual monitors, and I purchased $2k+ of equipment, only to later find out the MacBook Pro M1 chip I purchased does NOT support dual monitors. People there obviously don’t know what they are talking about and should not be working there. Complete waste of my time and money.

Horrible customer service. I have been a loyal Apple customer for 15 years. The Mayfair Mall store customer service is terrible and they don’t seem to have knowledgeable employees working there any longer. I took my work computer into the store, waited for 15 minutes after my appt time outside, after others who came after me kept being allowed in. Then, was told I wouldn’t get my computer back for two days. A day after I received a call that it had to be sent out and they couldn’t even boot the computer, which is not true because the computer works. The vibe in that store is awful and employees are not happy like they once were. I’ll be letting our IT dept at my work handle this from now on. Horrible experience there!

They were not honest with me and were not accommodating of my needs at all. They refused to back up my data and did not honor my apple care. Kayla “helped” me and was rude and short with me. It was very off putting and I was not able to receive what I needed. Very disappointed.

Amazing experience even in a pandemic! It took a week to ship out my mac but one day to fix my macbook pro 2017 touchbar, logic board, battery, and top keyboard case replacement. Walked in to buy a MacBook Pro 13 inch for 1899 was told I needed to wait 45 minutes to book a reservation to buy booked a reservation came back within 45 minutes check then was told to stand out a metal table and sat there for a additional 45 minutes with no instructions no follow up and no help ended up leaving worth buying experience ever ended up leaving to buy online.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE GO BUY IN STORE.My parents ordered the Iphone 12 pro from the Apple Store, and we were not expecting the carrier to be Fedex. Now where do I start. Is it normal that such company as Apple is working with Fedex to ship items that cost more than 1000 dollars? It’s nonsense to me. I have never experienced a more irresponsible, careless company than Fedex. They don’t care, the driver can literally decide to take the box to himself and they would never find out.So back to my experience. The driver left the package to wrong address. An iphone that costs more than 1k to wrong address?! My parents literally went to every Fedex office and what they said was “The package info is deleted from our system when it is delivered”. Excuse me? So back to what I said, the driver can literally take something to himself, declare that it was delivered and they don’t take responsibility for it, because “the info deletes”? Good thing there are good people that brought us back the package because if it was for Fedex or Apple Store we would have gifted someone an Iphone 12 pro. At least Take responsibility for YOUR mistakes. So frustrated! Never ordering again from any company that works with Fedex. Apple DO BETTER!

With limited Apple locations, this is the closest one to where I reside. For starters, I have never experienced a poor/negative visit. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Scheduling appointments is easy and my issues are quickly resolved.Much like other stores with limited locations, I have concerns with Apple being located at this mall. Service is 5/5. Location is negative stars. Your customers should feel safe. Apple was recently robbed (they have no control over that)... but they are located in a mall where shootings occur, robberies, and overall dangerous activity.Id prefer to send my devices in now after more shootings have taken place over here. What a scary place for an Apple store. Please get more locations or move.
The folks at the genius bar helped me tremendously when I was helping a friend after his phone was locked. Im not an iPhone user, so they had to go slow with me, and they were able to help me reset his phone for him while he was sick.Generous with their time even during a new product launch and a store full of other customers.Smart and friendly.

Walked in with a broken phone. Showed them the phone & we discussed my apple care. They told me I had to have an appointment, but since I bought the phone at Best Buy I could go there to get it taken care of. Made an appointment with Best Buy of Racine, which is an hour from my house because it’s the ONLY place that had an appointment. Drove all the way down & they refused to take it. Complete waste of my time....3 hours of my day AND all the gas money for driving.
Our salesperson Alex was super nice. I bought the keyboard and he explained everything to know about it. I would definitely recommend this place to someone who is looking for I pad products or any kind of accessory!

What a great experience today! Staff was so nice and helpful. I lost around 1,000 emails a few days ago, many related to a home purchase and all that goes with that. I walked in and immediately had help from two staff who worked together to solve this problem. They were friendly, efficient and referred me to the Genius Bar when i needed more expertise. The young woman was a super genius! And so nice, calming and a qgreat educator. I have all my emails back. I wish I knew the names of the staff so I could give them a shout out. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m very grateful for your help.
Wonderful customer service. People were kind and patient from the security guard to the apple technician. I was also able to get training on how to use my IPAD.

The employees here a really friendly and helpful! Oftentimes, if you bring something in for a repair and its small enough, they wont even charge you. In truth, theres absolutely nothing wrong with this actual location! Its genuinely very nice! Just a note to buyers, however, that oftentimes theres tons of extra accessories sold here that can be found for way way cheaper at Best Buy or other stores. Thats not to say Apple products are bad, but just know that as far as chargers and cases, youre probably better off purchasing them from a different place

I am satisfied with all the mac pro repair processes. The professional staff, they do quick and easily find out the problem and explaining clearly the repair processes. Especially, I am sincerely thankful for one of the women staff. She is super kind with bright smile and professional.
First things first. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. its like buying a car. no matter what you do ahead of time, you are still going to be there a while. Once we got there we only waited 15 minutes and our sales person was a trip. I forgot her name, but she took her time with us and we only had a few hiccups. Other than that, the store was clean and bright. Most of the employees were great. one not so but he really didnt take a second to listen to me so I found someone else. She was patient and extremely kind in getting our two phones set up and answered all of our questions and we walked out with two new working phones. But had we not made that appointment, we would have probably waited an hour.
I just had my battery replaced and it still only holds a charge for 4 hours. There is no satisfactory customer service option. When I call to schedule an appointment, and/or speak to a customer service rep, their automated service hangs up on you. In order to even get my battery replaced I had to go to the store and return in a week. This is unacceptable especially considering how much we pay for these phones. Will be contacting my carrier for other options, not buying a new Apple phone...
My display on my iPhone crashed so I took it apple to see if they could help. It was a Saturday and it was packed. I see a lot of people getting angry and leaving the store when the employees tell them they needed to make an appointment and it’ll be a wait. I honestly don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t understand that walking into a PACKED PLACE. but anyways.. the way they have it set up is very organized and they will text you when your appointment is up. When it was my turn they were very responsive and helpful. I wish I remembered her name but she was very sweet and funny and told me I’d have to wait about 5 hours for them to restore my phone. Completely understandable! I came back to pick up my phone completely fixed! They even took the time to clean the phone itself it looked brand new!! To anyone that’s planning on making a visit to this store please understand that it’s going to be busy. The employees cannot control how many customers they get a day but they are VERY organized with how they handle the crowd control.
Wish I could give them no star. Went to the store asked to have old iCloud account removed. They didnt know how to do it. And told me to call apple customer service so I did . They didnt know how to do it either. Just worthless and useless! I tried to fight it out myself then my account got locked and asked me to contact Apple Store again. What the F!!! I hate apple !! Will no longer buy their products. Their employees are brainless and their products are expensive! No wonder most of my friends are using Android!!

I tried to make an appointment online, and it was a week wait. They do not answer the phone. So I went in store before noon, and it was packed with people with phone issues, so was told to come back in an hour. Came back in an hour and was told to wait longer because they were busy. That I was lucky because a week online and an hour in store were much shorter than usual.Finally got someone to help me, and he had an attitude. Changed his story depending on what I said. First he said that a new battery would last me years and X charges. When I expressed concern over how fast my battery life dropped from 80 to 55, he changed his story that battery life plummets fast at 79% and under. First he said that it was standard for my phone to last as long as it did, and when I told him it wasn’t used that long, he changed his story that phone batteries drain and die even when they aren’t being used or when the phone isn’t even turned on. So, which is it? Will my battery last X charges or will it also slowly die when not turned on? Passed me on to someone else who also had an attitude. They tried to sell me on an upgrade I didn’t want, and got attitude when I declined. Told me my phone wasn’t worth replacing and I wouldn’t find a better deal anywhere else, but go ahead and find out myself. I don’t recommend ever stepping into this store. They also wanted to charge me 4 times what my friend was charged for a repair.
I am by no means an apple person. The only reason why I have my 2015 macbook pro is because it was a gift. Still, I have to give them credit. I needed a battery replacement and came in expecting to be swindled into spending more than needed. This wasnt the case though, and the woman who took in my computer was very helpful. The store is chaotic, but thats simply a flaw in the design. Im mainly just pleased at the results. My computer was ready for pickup the next morning and was actually in better shape than I left it with only the battery charge. (My backplate is dented and is very fussy about how you screw it in. They were able to get it on even better and more securely than I had it.) As well, they SUPREMELY cleaned this thing. Im talking take apart every piece and clean it. Its like the soda that spilled under my 6,7, and Y keys years ago never existed.

Busy, busy, busy. Waited 3 hrs just to a rep. Then sat for another 2 hrs to get done. But had to return the next day to pick up the repaired phone. But that went pretty quickly.
Workers were rude got there 1.30 15 min early was told I could not check in until 5 mins to my time 1.40 check in for 1.45 appointment seen at 2.03pm and 4 people behind were called first.
Very busy. Came in knowing exactly what I want. The greeter in the front sent me to a guy who was supposed to help me right away, but instead put me in queue. This happened twice with them sending meback and forth. The second guy started to get irritated. Unfortunately, the only reason I’m here is because Best Buy didn’t have the iPhone in the color that I needed. Not impressed and recommend avoiding unless absolutely necessary.
Beautiful store, but as an Android user I feel that the staff had no shortage of disrespectful comments about my phone when I asked to demo the Airpods Pro. Noise canceling worked fine with my LG, but a staff member told me that it wouldnt work. After several ignorant comments, and after I verified that indeed the noise canceling worked by default when paired to my phone, she went so far as to literally say Well, if you think it works then good for you... and I offered to let her listen, but she declined. She said that the Apple website itself clearly stated that they wouldnt have noise canceling or ambient transparency without an Apple device. Her attitude toward me, all because my phone wasnt an Apple, was appalling. Absolutely turned me off to all things Apple.
Couldnt even find the place at first. No mall directories to be found either. Tried to find something on my phone, and could only tell it was on the ground floor, by the pattern of the tile flooring in a picture online. Second level is carpeted so I knew it had to be on ground floor. Store has no signage outside whatsoever. After walking up and down a couple of times, could only identify the store by the crowds inside. Dont know they do it. Youd think they were giving things away, which is anything but the case.Only needed an iPad unlocked that belongs to a family member. Forget about it. The greeter was honest enough to tell me it would a 2.5-hr wait. Appreciate the candor. Couldnt resolve the issue at home with online support the next day. Ended up making an appt for 5 days later. I do love my Windows computer and my Android phone!!
I recommend making an appointment before visiting. It gets crowded really fast. However, once your appointment time arrives, the floor is all yours. The Genius Bar staff are willing to ask any questions you may have during your appointments. I’ve been there for a battery replacement on my phone and a computer charger cord replacement. I was satisfied with my service both times.
This store is always awful. Usually I stop in for something quick and am told it will be an hour wait so I leave. This past weekend though I wanted to get the new series 4 Watch so I went in fully expecting a wait. After wandering the store was told to go across the mall to a line of people waiting to be helped. Okay. Waited in line for my turn. Listened to the woman helping the customers in front of me be incredibly unhelpful. All they wanted to know was whether or not they had a product in store and no one would give them an answer. Finally the woman told her she was the only person in the whole store with that information apparently. they had some available but told her she needed an appointment. So they asked when the next one was and the employee said around 4:30/5. It was 4:20. Seemed silly to make an appointment for 10min from now but what do I know. Finally my turn! Tell her exactly what I want. Out of stock. Okay. When will you get more in? We get deliveries every 3-6days. Okay I’ll try back another time. No sooner do I finish my sentence than does an African American gentleman try and ask her a question. This woman gives him the most attitude I have ever seen a customer service employee give in my life. Completely dismissed him telling him to go to the end of the line. Boxed him out so her back was to him and acts like we are still talking after I clearly already said I was leaving. I Have never seen So much disrespect. I tried calling today to see if they had gotten any of the watches in stock and the woman on the phone told me I had to make a reservation to come in to the store to find out if they had any. So ridiculous, I’m done. I’ll wait until it is out in other stores in a week. 😂 (FYI, if Apple does read this, the woman working being rude and disrespectful was an average to above average height, thin, brown hair and clear framed glasses on Sunday 9/23 at 4:20pm)
Our computer experienced an unknown problem and needed to be fixed.Apple fixed it quickly and free of charge.During our visit, the tech support guy answered my questions and gave me tons of information and professional advice that I use to this day.The way he was dedicated to truth and helping us out as much as possible (instead of just trying to make the most sales for Apple as he could) was refreshing, and really improvedy feelings toward Apple, as a company that truly cares for integrity and making this world a better place for everyone!

*Updated* 5-5-14So! I am rewriting my entire review, and Ive bumped my rating from 1 to 5 stars. To recap as briefly as I can: My wife had a cracked screen, we went into the Mayfair location to replace the screen for a $109 fee and had a bad experience with one of the reps, resulting in us leaving without the repair.Weve actually had two more visits to the store since then. First, after receiving our information, a manager reached out to us and apologized for the experience we had. He thanked us for our feedback, clarified the stores perspective (they want to secure an agreement to a $350 replacement cost if something beyond the screen is damaged; something I can understand, but as a customer wouldnt want to get locked into) and invited us back for an attempt at fixing the phone.The fix worked, but there was a slight imbalance where the screen was not entirely flush with the casing. We left with the understanding that this might just be an artifact of the initial drop, but 24 hours after the fix the phone took a small bump and the new screen splintered.We took it back in tonight and I wasnt sure what to expect, since theres no real way to determine if it was an issue from the original fix or just an unfortunate coincidence. Regardless, the store was extremely helpful and was able to swap our device out for a replacement.Of course Im happy that my cost was minimized, but Im taking the time to update my review out of appreciation for the customer service. Negative interactions are going to occur, but its oftentimes far easier to just leave a customer upset than it is to reach out and help. After my first trip to the store I was legitimately thinking about trading my own phone in for an Android device as a matter of principle, but instead Im a satisfied customer.
This place is definitely busy but it makes sense - there aren’t many Apple stores in the Milwaukee area so it gets a lot of people! I had an issue with my computer that has my whole life on it, and they were able to put me in as an emergency walk in. I had to wait about 4 hours but they were really sweet and apologetic about it. Then, they talked me through exactly what was happening and didn’t make me feel rushed or worried, even though the store was going to close! They eventually solved the issue and fixed it the next day, and when I went to pick it up they gave me so much advice to prevent it from happening again and helped me be make sure it’s 100% before I left. Such a great staff and well oiled machine! I’d definitely be careful about some of the lower star reviews - some people think they’re the worlds highest priority and can’t believe they have to stand in line haha

Apple is wonderful... Cant say enough about the service they provide for their products, its the best... All things being equal, its the service that sells and will keep me an Apple customer. 👍
We had to wait from 1 until 5:15 almost p.m. to take back a iPhone 7 that was defective from a bunch of others that were defective. They replaced it but it took so long to go to the process were exhausted and spent a great deal of money in the shopping center wanting to eat and to just to get a couple of sodas while were waiting for the long duration. Other than that everybody was very helpful very friendly and I would would have given him a five-star. Its just exhausted long wait of more than three plus hours that we had to wait.
Not sure whats going on, the line started outside the store. The security was rude and intrusive. The store is behind walls there is no merchandise to view,. You talk to a rep through a window, so I dont know why they were so aggressively following me to the counter, stood by me in line arms folded, staring at me the whole time with a very mean face and didnt have any mask on.
I want to thank Brian for all his help yesterday! I bought the new iPhone 6s on the upgrade program and he was so helpful! I originally got declined by Verizon but he explained to me that this was most likely because a lot of people were activating new phones that day. He called Verizon and with the help of the Verizon rep I got approved for the upgrade program, got the phone and the plan I wanted, and I was able to keep my number! (I switched from Sprint) And it all took about 20 minutes! I really appreciate his help, and the great customer service!
Have an appointment at 2:40 this afternoon. Still waiting in line at 3:01. Failed to mention they are running behind by “20-30 minutes”!

I purchased an iPhone black Saturday with a promise of receiving a $200.00 gift card from virgin mobile if I activated the phone in store with virgin mobile. I even asked while purchasing the phone on the phone when I would get the card and was told that I would get those details once I picked up the phone. Once I arrived at the store the associates said that we would get the card from virgin mobile once we activated. We go through switching the phone number to then be told from virgin mobile that we need to purchase the phone through them and they are sorry we can not get the gift card. They suggest returning the phone to apple. The associates at apple said if we did this we would loose our phone number. This is a scam, by apple and virgin mobile. When I called the apple store they should have told me they did not give the gift card and to contact virgin mobile. When I arrived at the store and asked about the gift card, once again I should have been told before activation, that they did not give out the gift card. Apple waited until I had fully activated the phone before they said they had nothing to do with the gift card. Why did you not tell me this when I ordered the phone. You are partially responsible for this mix up.
Apple makes me crazy, just like Google. However the service and organization that I experienced at the Mayfair location was outstanding. I felt like a valued customer and that my Apple investment was worth it. Top notch customer care.
It took 1.5 hours to get in but we got a text that notified us when they were ready for us. The technition was very helpful and very kind. It was my 13 year old daughters phone and when a repair could not be made, they replaced the phone and called our carrier to make sure the new phone was all set up.
I usually recommend customers to visit the Apple Store if there are any issues that we cannot handle at our US Cellular Agent location, I will no longer be doing this. The Apple rep my customer set up an appointment with was completely incompetent: not only was he unable to distinguish if her phone was an iPhone 6 or an iPhone 7, but he told the customer that resetting her password to get her Apple ID working again (enabled) was something they couldnt help her with. What a joke.
ZERO STARS! Made an appointment for AppleCare service at the Mayfair location and was told Weve Partnered with Best Buy, your appointment is over there Needless to say, Best Buy just wanted to take our phone and send it to Apple for repair. Thats NOT AppleCare...THATS BS!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! Come on Apple! Youre better than that.
