First off... The dealership look and feel is IMPECCABLE! It is clean, easy to get around and so cheerful. My sales consultant, Dave Parry, was perfect. NO high pressure, no sales tactics, no gimmicks, just allowed the transaction to organically progress. My son found the car while we were at dinner, and we decided to see it on the way home from our trip. What a find. Thats the car I bought, it was a perfect car. The transaction was flawless, NO stress, and the pickup/delivery was magnificent. I know the use of descriptive words is important, but this was a great experience. Dave Parry made it so easy. The paperwork was all in order and that time flew by. I drove the car home and I am soooo thrilled with the car. Its still shining from the prep that McLaren of Philadelphia did. Bottom line.... Used or new car... GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!! I watched a delivery of a NEW McLaren go when I picked up my jewel. That was a great experience watching that happen. In fact Dave moved my car INSIDE the showroom, when I put my deposit down midweek, that is ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!! And get a load of the picture. Dave accessorized for my delivery!!!! Thats class!!! I wanted to give a shout out to Paul and Chad at Mclaren Philadelphia.I was in the process of purchasing a Mclaren (I live out of state), and I wanted to have the car inspected by Mclaren before purchasing. Chad helped coordinate with the seller an appointment, and got us an appointment very quickly to have the car inspected.I unfortunately ran into a couple of delays with having the funds available, but thankfully Paul let me hold the car at the dealership for almost a month while I waited for the sale of my previous car to go through, and for the shipping company to arrive. Paul not only let me have a space there, but also helped coordinate the VIN inspection, warranty transfer, and helped load the car onto the trailer.. this all would be somewhat expected if I was buying a car from Mclaren, but I wasnt. They let me store my car and helped me complete the transaction without anything in return. Both Paul and Chad were very friendly through the entire process, and excited for me to get my car.In the end I got my car, it is absolutely incredible, and none of this would have been possible if they hadnt stepped in and helped me out. I am very gracious to Mclaren of PA, and this level of service Im sure is one of the primary reasons that dealership is as successful as it is.Thank you!
I have been buying used cars all my life (Im 62) and my experience at McLaren Philadelphia was the easiest and most straightforward stress-free I have ever had with a car dealership. My first communication was by e mail about what additional fees there were in addition to the vehicle price. Salesman Bob Foster got back to me within minutes and told me straight our that there was only one, small documentation fee of $394. We live 8 hours away so Bob gave us a FaceTime video tour and test ride of the car we were interested in. Communication was excellent and he always returned calls immediately unless he was busy with a customer which he always apologized for. Even when I called him on a Sunday morning with the intention of just leaving him a message that we wanted the car he answered his phone while having breakfast with his family ! Coming to an agreement on the price of the vehicle was easy and direct with Bob making the decision himself without the usual back-and-forth B S of let me check with my manager. We drove 8 hours to pick up the car and it was ready and so completely detailed inside and out that I couldnt find a speck of dirt anywhere. Even the inside of the door jambs, engine compartment, and trunk was spotless. We signed the paperwork and there were no hidden or unexpected fees or charges. The previous owner hadnt returned the second key and Bob pestered him for a month until he did and mailed it to us by Federal Express. The only caveat in everything was that it took several weeks for the Pennsylvania DMV to get the title of the car transferred over to McLaren but Bob gave us a two month temporarily plate and Fed Exed us the title as soon as he got it and transferred it us. Thanks for everything, Bob ! Youre the best !
Great place. Its a candy store for people who like to see exotic cars. They almost always have a nice group of slightly used Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, and of course lots of McLaren cars. Most of the cars are in the parking lot in front, so you can see most of the cars anytime youre in the area. And the prices, with details (mileage etc), is usually listed on some paper in the windshield of every used car there. The new ones have window stickers, but its nice to see prices posted on the cars too. Its a good feature about this dealership. Plus the people who work there seem very friendly and nice. Definitely worth a visit.
I came in to just take a look at some beautiful cars. I was greeted promptly and treated with the utmost respect. I was immediately asked if Ive ever been here and was offered to take a seat behind the wheel of a beautiful 650s on the showroom floor! Staff was extremely friendly and not degrading to the fact that I wanted to just browse and take pictures! I left buying a few shirts. I was extremely happy!
Down to earth folks who treat all customers very well even when only looking at used inventory, or window shopping. They saw my boys were into exotic cars and handed them posters and hats. Such a memorable experience for them.

I dont leave many reviews, but when you have an experience like I just had, you pretty much have to. I bought my new McLaren here a little over a year ago, and just had it serviced here for the first time. It was the best experience from start to finish. Mike picked up my car on a Sunday night, and delivered it back to me the following Sunday. He is the nicest guy, and takes great pride in taking care of your car. I couldve talked to him for hours about cars. Paul in service was another one that was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We dealt mostly through email, and he was as quick as you could be with responding. He made sure everything I asked for was done perfectly. Last but not least, Mike in parts was also great to deal with. He ships parts super fast, and provides the tracking number, he even throws in a gift with the order. It can be very stressful when trusting someone with your car, especially at this price point, but I am worry free with these guys. Bravo!
Starting off this review, I haven’t bought a car from McLaren of Philadelphia, this is just a review of a car-spotter’s experience. A couple years ago, back when the 12C was just released, I was lucky enough to go to the dealership as part of a trip. The staff were very friendly back then, and I was even given a little tour of the mechanic’s shop. This carries over into 2018. The staff is very friendly, and allow you to stop in and take pictures of their cars. They always have a pristine collection of cars for sale, and actively host and attend many events in the area. Not to mention that they (as of the writing of this review) have the only McLaren F1 service center in the US.
When I bought my first McLaren I had expectations. My first McLaren was from McLaren Charlotte and they were great but my maintenance went through Philadelphia and I very quickly became familiar with Paul McClain of their service department. Working with him regarding routine of my 570s was everything I expected from McLaren. A few months later when I bought 720s from San Diego, only to find out the dealership didnt actually do the Certified Pre-Owned inspection and the car had all kinds of issues, I sent it to McLaren Philadelphia and Paul took care of it. The thoroughness and care they showed me and my car is exactly when I buy my third McLaren it will be from Philadelphia just on principle alone. Ill never know how good another dealerships service department is because mine is only going here.

These guys could not have been nicer! My 11 year old son is a car lover. We were driving from Lancaster to Philly, and happened by the dealership, and he lost his mind! We whipped our CRV around and pulled in to have a look. The cars are works of art, without saying. I asked the salesman if we could look around and maybe take a few pictures, thinking they would just ask us to leave, as has happened before at other places. Nope. He said, take as many as you want, showed us around, talked about their cars with my son, and gave him a poster of a P1, his favorite. Even slid the dividers back in front of the MSO so he could get a clear picture. Super nice people.

I found my car at McLaren Philadelphia. I am from Chicago, so my first interaction with the dealership is through email. Bob Foster is super responsive. He emailed me promptly to provide answers to my questions about out of state purchase and the car I was interested in. He is unbelievanly considerate. He sent me pictures of the car before the dealership had pictures available. I was able to make a deal with him over email contingent upon me inspecting the car in person. I had a very busy schedule and he was very accommodating. My husband and I finally made it to the dealership on Friday. It was a super exciting day for me. I would like to tell everyone about the experience I had with McLaren of Philadelphia. First let me start by saying that I did not purchase in McLaren, as much as I would have liked to, I came to McLaren of Philadelphia to purchase a 1982 Delorean which was traded in for a McLaren. Knowing that I was going to a McLaren dealership to buy a 35 year old car I was apprehensive about it. Upon walking in I was greeted twice by very polite and personal staff. I bought a car for 20k and I was treated like I was spending a half a million dollars. My salesperson, Michael Hofer was simply the best salesperson that I have ever had the pleasure of working with! He went above and beyond and made sure that i was happy. Buying this car from him was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I could not be happier! Michael Hofer and McLaren of Philadelphia is absolutely top notch! Oh and if youre thinking about getting one those sweet McLaren sports cars, I would definitely do it!!

I was very pleased with my purchase of a 570S with McLaren Philadelphia. Hamilton (finance/head of operations) and Robert (sales) were excellent to deal with both personally and professionally. Due to an unforeseen incident, they even arranged to drive the car and complete the entire transaction at my home. It was a fairly complex deal compared to most, but McLaren Philadelphia would be where I would buy my next McLaren and probably my next exotic car. Do not hesitate to deal with them as they are the #1 McLaren dealer on the East Coast (nationwide too, I believe). You are not going to find nicer people, better prices, better service or in very rare cases, better paint services (their painting services are right next door) for your vehicle all in one stop. Cant give them 6 stars, so they get 5. Very pleased.

Great people that really try to help you feel at ease and help out any way they can.Bob helped me with my purchase. Originally the vehicle I wanted was at their Newport Beach location, and I wanted to make a couple of changes to it. He found one at this location they could make some changes to, lower the price, and save on shipping to essentially match the same price of the other vehicle + intended changes. Very easy and straightforward, and helpful during the whole process.Theyre also very inviting to all the events that they hold, really encouraging some community gatherings. Theres also no hassle if you ever need to leave a vehicle at their location either, as they always have loaners for their customers.Their service is on par with the vehicles they sell!

McLaren Philadelphia is an exotic car dealership in West Chester, PA. Every so often they hold an open house. This is an event that takes place on either a Saturday or Sunday and is open to the public as well as free of charge. The staff at McLaren Philadelphia are some of the nicest around. Even if you are not in the market for a six figure supercar, they treat you very well.
I was on the hunt for a McLaren part. I called dealerships in Dallas, Houston, Denver, & Atlanta before calling Philadelphia. None of the other dealerships were able to help. Mike Bannon in Philadelphia made it easy. He found the part in 5 minutes, verified it by picture, and mailed it to me. I will now go to Philly first when in search of McLaren parts.

He delivered on all his promises and also included some extra swag in the deal I wasn’t expecting. I will definitely be going back to this dealership for my next McLaren.I will say there was a negative with my purchase. I had them add PPF to the remainder of the car with their in house detailing. They were supposed to buff the car clean of swirl marks but unfortunately when I took deliver that was not the case. They also left smears on the paint before throwing the wrap on. The wrap job just looked rushed and sloppy. No knock on McPhilly sales, but lesson is learned to choose my detailing shop wisely next time.Overall great experience from this outstanding dealership.

Occurs twice a year, get there!Best part is not the McLarens, but rather the cars the wealthy main line folks bring to showoff.You will also get a good laugh at the enthusiasts coming in their beat up WRXs with aftermarket mufflers and other junk cars as well. Guys, pro tip, fast and the furious cannot be done on a $2000 budget.

When I went there she was so nice to offer me if I wanted to sit in a car, and also gave me a free hat and a free poster. Five star service. Drove two hours to pick up an inventoried Audi R8. Was told by the Porsche store that the car was located at Mclaren, drove over and was completely ignored. No worries, taking my business elsewhere! Couldnt afford a P1, so I guess that makes me a less worthy customer!!

I inquired about a pre owned 2016 Bentley Mulsanne. I was working with Adam Matteo. My first visit I just wanted to see the car in person before I made my final decision. The car was advertised with the remaining factory warranty which I later found out there was no warranty left. I also spoke with Hamilton who is the used car manager and explained I would like some form of warranty and he advised that they would only be willing to pay for half of a one year warranty but the other half would be out of pocket for me. A few weeks pass I called to set up a test drive and possibly see if there was something we could work out regarding the price and warranty so I scheduled a date to come in, then I thought what is the use in going if we couldnt come to some type of understanding. So i contacted Adam again and he promised to call me right back twice on the same day and he did not. Im not sure why, it seems like it could be a black thing but to date no calls have been returned. Lesson learned, do not buy a Bentley from a Mclaren dealer, and further this racial thing seems to be very real in this case. I really had thought better of Adam. Just goes to show you that in some areas racial issues are still alive.I encourage folks not to do business with this dealer as they are racist and liars and strive very well to cover it up. As a result of this a report has been filed with the proper agency that handles mattters such as thidto thee liars and try and hide it very well

I bought a beautiful looking red McLaren in Nov of 2014. Two weeks later the problems began. The transmission leaked fluid in my garage and as a result the car had to be towed to their shop. Two weeks later because the part had to be ordered from the United Kingdom, the car was returned. The McLaren Philadelphia service manager was always polite, responsive and professional although his dealership never seems to have the parts I need.When I bought the car I thought for an extra $1000 protection from dings would be a good investment. What the dealer somehow forgot to tell me is that because the car is almost entirely made of carbon fiber, it does not ding. It cracks which is not covered by this extra protection. So a tiny ding smaller than a dime cost $4000 to repair because the paint is so special the entire door had to be removed and repainted. This took 10 days. The dealer could tell I was frustrated and offered to buy the car back from me. At first I thought this is a dealer that wants me to be happy. Then I heard the price. They offered me $40,000 less than I paid a couple of months ago. I had only added 1500 miles to the car in part because the car sat in their shop waiting for parts.Recently a check engine light went on and off so when I brought the car in for its $2700 2 year service, they looked at that issue. Dont be scared off by the cost of this service, it includes a fresh wiper blade and interior/exterior cleaning. No one drives these cars in bad weather so a new wiper blade is a bit of a joke. Turns out the check engine light issue was serious and now two weeks later the car has been sitting at the dealer while I wait for a part from The United Kingdom. So in the 8 months I have had the car, 4 months were during winter hibernation and 6 weeks were spent at the dealer.In one very honest conversation regarding these issues I was told by the dealer that I am simply having bad luck with this car. I am writing this review should any reader be considering a McLaren because you may or may not be one of the lucky ones without nearly constant problems. Do not buy one of these cars unless you have another for when it breaks and they dont have parts. Do not buy this car unless you are prepared to suffer an immediate and substantial loss. I have had Aston Martins, a Lambo and a Ferrari, and none has lost so much value so quickly.The above opinion is based on the facts involved in my experience.

My car buying experience with McLaren Philadelphia was going well until the Pre-purchase inspection done by bimmerworks which is also located in west chester, PA. I am located in VA and have been looking for a E46 M3 for some time and found one that matches my criteria at this dealership through the internet. Because these M3s are older, this being a 2004, I wanted a thorough inspection done before purchasing. The dealer was okay with me getting a PPI done through another dealership. This PPI was done AFTER their own 100 point McLaren high standard inspection. It went through their own inspection with nothing noted that needed replacing, no rust, needs nothing. After I paid the $200 fee to bimmerworks (which they did an amazing job by providing photos with the PPI report), they found a few things wrong with the car, but to me, werent a dealbreaker, until I read the report about the rust. I specifically told the salesperson/dealer before the car being taken to bimmerworks, that rust IS a dealbreaker. Why Im giving such a low rating is because how a McLaren high standard 100 point inspection could not identify rust which was visible on the right rear quarter panel is beyond me. It was not hidden inside of something, or something needed to be moved or taken apart to see this. This rust visible with nothing being taken apart. If they were able to do the 100 point inspection correctly, I would have not even sent the vehicle to bimmerworks for the PPI that cost me $200. Reimbursement was not offered. I would understand if the PPI uncovered something that took a little more time to uncover, and they didnt offer a reimbursement. But a McLaren shop that has a high standard in their 100 point inspection after this experience is pretty much pointless. There were 7-8 items that needed replacing or work done but in their 100 point inspection, everything came out 100% clean/good. Cant trust this dealers shop at all.

Wow, we felt we were being given a huge favor by them just letting us in the front door.First of all, this has gotta be the tiniest new car showroom I had ever seen. It is that tiny. Well, we went there to look at a used luxury 4-door sedan automobile the other way. My lady and I, I guess we had forgotten to hang on us all the royal family jewels, cause we were invisible to everyone for a while. Then we went to see the car we had wanted outside.Wow, it was hard to get into, cause it was parked in-between two other ones. I am tall, so I had wanted to see first of all if I can fit into the vehicle. No such luck. The salesman said that the car shuts down all electronics in prtection mode soon after the door opens, so there was no way for him to adjust the seat.There we were, could not even squeeze into the car, let alone turn it over, let alone take it for a spin. You would think they would be a little happier to get rid of a 1999 vehicle that is going for $60K.Yeah, they had a bunch of the rather cartoonish-looking 2-seater McLarens there as well -- personally, I had never heard of them until the other day, as we went there to see another, established British car brand.
